We visited Uncle Vito's Pizza on my husband's birthday, right before heading to Quest Room. Since he's a big fan of pizza, we decided to give this nearby spot a try, and we're so glad we did! We didn't have high expectations going in, but the pizza turned out to be incredibly fresh and full of flavor. We both love a good crunchy crust with plenty of toppings, and this place nailed it. I especially enjoyed the one with zucchini. It was delicious! The ambience is okay, they have outdoor seating which is a good bonus for a nice weather. Overall, the experience was pleasant, and we would love to come back for more.

Service was fast and the pizza was hot! Very good, with a nice crisp crust. Cozy atmosphere with SF inspired art. Would go back!

Uncle Vito's really feels like you're family! It's located near Powell street so it was quite a climb from the BART station to this spot but so worth it! Cozy place had good options for food. I chose the Greek pizza and could barely finish a 10" so definitely take it to go or share! The pizza was flavorful and the crust was absolutely perfect-- best mix of chewy and crunch. Would come back in the near future!

Uncle Vito's Pizza at the Corner of Powell and Bush. Easy Breezy. Great Food.

Loved finding the local friendly atmosphere and menu at Vito's Pizza. Late evening walk to the corner from our Orchard Hotel on Bush and Powell was perfect for a late evening dinning. This friendly, local pizzeria completed our San Francisco day. Not everything good has to be expensive in San Fran! Our selection of pizza for two was fantastic at a great price.. I recommend Vito's to anyone looking for a local flavor with friendly staff, good service and homestyle seating. Buen Provecho!

Spaghettini Olio

Had a great meal at Uncle Vito's. Archie was our server and was terrific. Very attentive to our needs. My husband had a Turkey with Avocado and cheese sandwich and I had the Spaghettini Olio. The bread for the sandwich was soft but held up to the turkey and avocado. The pasta was so fresh and garlicky. The broccoli was cooked perfectly. A great meal and wonderful atmosphere. Thanks Archie for making our date night a wonderful experience.

A group of friends 11 total (2 kids /9 adults) went to Vito's as one friend in the group had been coming to Vito's for 20 years and raved about the food. Well, when seated the group was separated for some odd reason . Strangely , the group sitting upstairs 5 adults had vacant tables around their area. Just made no sense how the group couldn't sit together. From what other reviews report similar situations. Food : Pasta primavera was excellent . It came with fettuccine with mushrooms, olives, artichokes, broccoli, cream sauce and I added chicken . Ordered a house salad, garlic bread . Portions large enough to share. Service : Not good, the waitress was very nice but it appeared she was the only waitress for a majority of the tables .

Came here for a quick dinner. they were fairly busy but we seated immediately. The waitress was awesome and took care of us really well. The food was decent - the pasta dishes we tried were good, but not great. The pizza was one of the better pizzas amongst the local eateries. We may return someday and try a few more things on the menu before a final verdict.

Uncle Vito's Pizza is right around the corner from my place in SF! I've always seen it on my way up the steep cable-car hills and have been meaning to try it. Cute location on the side of the hill. We ordered takeout: garlic bread, caesar salad, mountain pizza. Garlic bread was nicely buttered, caesar salad went smoothly with its dressing, and the mountain pizza was a splendid topping combo offering. Wait-time for our order was pretty quick ~ 15 min. This place definitely satisfied our pizza craving! Would come back to try their other options.

I would have to say this place was pretty darn good. We got in on a later flight and this place was open near our hotel. We were happy to see a restaurant open somewhat later so we quickly dropped our bags and headed there. We got a pizza and deep fried raviolis. Both were good. I enjoyed the raviolis more than the pizza but then again I am probably used to a different style of pizza then they served here. As we were there, many people stopped by to grab a slice, dine in and just come by to hang out which made me think this was the place to be. The inside was aok, just like a "regular" pizza joint, nothing fancy but it was clean and had a joyful atmosphere. The waitress was quite busy since she was working alone but got our order correct and was nice and courteous. I would definately come back here again if I am ever in the San Francisco city again.

Service was great! Spaghetti with meat sauce was delicious, cheese pizza was just ok, and garlic bread was also just ok. Very fair prices, and fast plus good service.

Typically not a yelper, but a helper. The customer service here is awesome! Pizza is great and so is the beer!

The standing area next to the bar was also a cute spot to wait while our table was getting ready. Food-wise, we tried the crudo tasting while the other crudos were fine, they didn't stand out nearly as much as the scallop. The corn and mushroom pasta was very tasty, especially the sauce. We also tried the pesto pasta, which also had excellent texture, but the sauce tasted a bit more charred than I would have liked. Overall, I thought the atmosphere and dining experience were stronger than any individual dish. The communal seating and lively dining area gave the restaurant a great energy. I can see why this place is popular, and the tasting menu is a fun way to try a variety.

The interior had simple decor and a swirl of little lights across ceiling. For drinks, we shared a bottle of Chianti, which was excellent. We also ordered a few appetizers for the table - Garlic Bread and Buratta. The Garlic Bread wasn't particularly memorable for me, but the Buratta was very tasty with the fresh pesto on top. I loved that most pasta dishes could be prepared with a choice of sauce, and ordered the Lobster Ravioli with Vodka Sauce. This was so tasty and surprisingly filling! Great pasta, nice texture, but the meat could have stood out better. It sort of hid in the shadows. Gnocchi: 4.5/5. Since I make my own gnocchi this is a very high rating from me. Excellent texture and taste for this gnocchi and the vodka sauce complemented it really well. I would definitely have this again.

Him and I like to talk over each other so I can imagine that when the patio is full, convos are the rage. Inside is super vibey, very dark, and decorated with nostalgic pieces. The price point is very generous, considering the portions and quality of the food. This is also a late-night spot, so either way, come hungry. I ordered the basil sweet tea (deep breath), and it was so refreshing and tasty. My bonus kid texted me after I got home to ask me of any dinner spots I would recommend and I IMMEDIATELY sent him my recommendation of Emmy's Spaghetti Shack.

Both were so good - I think the chicken parm might've been my favorite out of the two. The chicken was so flavorful. We ordered the house white for the wine, which went perfectly with our meal. It was light and refreshing. The meal ended with a peaches and creme panna cotta with some bread crumbs on top. SO DELICIOUS! Our waiter was amazing - it was our first time and he pretty much gave us the rundown on what he would get for first timers doing the Monday is for Lovers deal, which we ended up doing just that. Their decor is very chic and I especially loved all of the hardware, glasses, tables, and benches. This place was styled by a great design artist. Even though the place was pretty packed and can be kind of noisy, I still felt very calm amongst all the healthy plants and loved the sophisticated 70s inspired glassware. Another great feature of this place is that you can buy most of the plants because they have some for sale so after a couple of cocktails, I was ready to redecorate my whole house with all the plants. I ordered a yummy Rose blend that was super crisp. Also enjoyed the Truffle Fungi! A delicious Shiitake and oyster mushrooms with parmesan and arugula on toasted bread. Their Spanish inspired potatoes were delicious with their dipping sauce. They have lots of gatherings there and DJ sets on the weekends. Lastly, a photographer would die to take pictures here. You get perks as a thank-you for doing your part in making the City a cleaner place. We had just had a lovely time at another participating business (Beehive) and planned on Arcana being our final stop. Thankfully I was able to use the restroom without a fee, with my gear held up outside by the security team. While waiting in the restroom line, I told a staff member about all this, and the worker seemingly went up to the front to find out what's going on. The line took a few minutes, my friends also bumped into me, and I told them I'd likely wait for them outside the business post-restroom while they finished their wine.
