This place is HORRIBLE. *They costed me $3000 worth of suspension work because of their mistakes!!!* & No I did not let them fix their mistakes, I let a trusted car dealership fix it. I simply took my car in for new brakes back in May of 2017. (I am just now writing this review because I now have all of my facts and evidence together). They took off my wheels to do this brake change, and stripped a bolt on my front left wheel. My tire kept deflating so that is why the wheel was taken off by my father, who could barely get the tire off because of the stripped bolt. This had happened a few months after the brake change. When we found this I brought it back right away the next day. We explained to them what they had done and they agreed to fix it with no charge. Except I was told that they would have to take apart my entire suspension to fix the stripped bolt on my tire. Leaving me with NO CAR for an entire day. I had to pay for a rental car out of my pocket. The next day, I picked up my car and all seemed okay. Fast forward to November. I bring my car into Carmax this time because at this point I no longer trusted Firestone. They looked at my car up and down and noticed my suspension was destroyed. Ball joints were ripped, my motor mount was broken, and many other things. Causing my car to shake and rattle. I was so angry because the people at Firestone really screwed up my car. They costed me $3000 WORTH OF SUSPENSION WORK. I will NEVER bring my car here ever again. I will continue to spread the word about these goofy incompetent workers. Honestly a joke. read more

Second time coming to the Antelope location. Excellent service, and no one tried the big up-sell and everything went as smooth as silk. I will be taking my car here for all my maintenance needs. Got my oil change here, 2 months later got problems with my car and have to bring it to a mechanic who told me I practically have no oil in my car and that what is in there is way too dark to has been changed just 2 months prior. I called to complain to the store and brought it back, got a condescending manager telling me that the mechanic was at the wrong and there was oil in the car. Don't know if they just dumped in some oil while I was in the waiting room to denied responsibility but the chances of a mechanic not knowing how to check oil is slim. read more

I've been going this place since it's opening. Was excited that they are now close to me because I've been going to their other location on Greenback. This location was pretty good in the beginning but it has since gone downhill. I have four cars being serviced there plus my mom's car before but now she goes somewhere else. They were going to fix my mom's brakes and they worked on it three times with payment and still the brakes were squealing. Today I had a tire that I bought with them less than five years ago. The tires was peeling off. I was told there's no more warranty on it and the person who took my order didn't even tell me how much the new tire will be. Just had me sign and that's the only time I found out what the price was. They did the "courtesy check" and said I might have a leak in my coolant system and I need to get a check up for a certain amount. Then I was told I need an alignment which I was told I was going to get free. That didn't happen. Lastly my windsgield washer said was topped off and checked but I drove away and no water was coming out of the windshield washer. Anyway their credibility is totally shut with me. Had several other issues with them so I will never go back to this place anymore. read more

I went back bc my tire pressure light came on and I was instantly stressed out thinking, "great another problem with my car." I got there and the guy up front says that it's probably just the temperature difference outside and said they'd check it. They checked it and added air and it's been fine! So I had a diagnostic done on my car and took it to firestone to be fixed. I brought them the paperwork they called the dealership to figure out what was wrong. They ordered the part and we got it fixed. And my check engine light is back on. The code is reading the same issue. How do I get all the info and make sure what is getting fix fixes my issue and they tell me basically there's nothing they can do. They are unprofessional and never call back when they say they will. I gave 1 star only because you cannot give them "zero". Needed an oil change and a tire rotation yesterday and since this new shop is close to my house and the price was reasonable I thought that I would support them, being a new business an all. Stayed in the waiting room while the work was being done and after a reasonable wait time the customer service person called me up to the counter. While rotating the tires they found a nail that was "too close" to the sidewall and could not be repaired so I would need to buy a new tire. After asking to see it the manager let me go into the shop to see for myself and sure enough there was the nail. I am no expert but even I knew the nail was far enough away from the sidewall and could be patched but the person at the counter tried to sell me new tire. He even mentioned that they were having a 4th of July sale I could wait until then and save $10. ( basically drive around with a nail until then!). I even asked if he could give me the sale price on the tire now since we are so close to the sale day anyway but he would not budge. At this point I knew I was not going to buy a tire anyway but wanted to see what they would say. No surprise that I would have to pay full price. After leaving Firestone I took the car to Americas Tire in Roseville where they not only patched the leak, but put tire dressing to shine the tires and get this , DID NOT CHARGE ME A PENNY! yep, they repaired it for free. Worst experience here. I made an appointment days in advance to have my car looked at this morning. I put in the notes the engine was stalling- the appointment was confirmed, everything looked good. Showed up for my appointment this morning and yes, the guy at the counter did ask me to wait while he consulted with a customer from the waiting area. But then he also took two phone calls. After my half hour wait, he then told me they don't have a diagnostic tech working on Thursdays - the day of my appointment. They couldn't even look at my car that day. Maybe the next day I was told, but they were pretty booked up. Such crap! Why confirm an appointment that was completely meaningless? The guy was a jerk about it too- saying it was basically my fault for not telling them what was wrong with my car in advance!!! Avoid this place. read more

Walked in at 9 am to have an oil change and check up! There were no cars! I book my car and they said that my car is next in line! I told them I will be back in 1 hour and they said it will be done! Mind you there were no cars when I walked out! I come back at 10 am with there garages all full and see my car in the lot thing service was done! I walk in and tell them I'm picking up my car they tell me that my car was not serviced and is next in line! They show me the schedule and they had 2 apt come in! I left the garage was empty now it's full they tell me that my car is next and they only had 2 apt come in! Wtf!!!! What kind of service is that! Was about 8 minutes from my home to this shop and somehow they couldn't take anymore cars after I was told that they could. BEWARE! Do not take your car here, especially if you are a single lady. My mom took her car in yesterday to see if someone could fix her window because she couldnt put the passenger window down. When she came in they told her that she needed to run a diagnostics for $136. Mind you, we already know what the problem is. They reassure her that they need to run this diagnostics in order to fix the car. She pays because she assumes that she has to do it and will have to do it at other places. They run the diagnostics and now its $362 for the window part and $28 to fix the switch. What What I dont like is, as a mechanic they should be able to run through the possibilities and explain her options and how much it could run her. If you cant do that then I wouldnt let them touch my car because that means you are incompetent or running a scam. I this Firestone to pay my mother back. I will go through every social media channel to let this be known and if I need to I will get an attorney to start a class action lawsuit of making people sign forms under distress and wrongful information. read more

GOT THE "RUN AROUND" AT THIS TIRE STORE ... My check engine light was on so i called to make an appointment. I was told the "master mechanic" was only available on certain days, which should have been a red flag for me. I've done business with Firestone on Elverta Rd before and was very satisfied. But this time my car was there for 3 days and nothing got done. I was told 3 different stories from 3 different people. The stories ranged from a cracked manifold, to a couple of defective sensors, to the parts that were delivered were the wrong ones. They blamed the vendor and were trying to rectify the problem but couldn't reach the vendor. The estimate stood at $1225.00, but I needed my old car to run good again. On the third day i called for a status since no one ever called me back as promised. I was told the 2 sensors were replaced and the vendor still hadn't delivered the manifold. I told the gentleman on the phone to just get it ready for me to pick up and i'll pay what's due. When I got there nothing had been done to my car, not even the sensors. I was charged $136.00 for a diagnostic. I asked for a price adjustment for being so unsatisfied and the manager agreed to $90.00. Lesson learned...... don't go to a tire shop for engine trouble!! read more

I called a few months ago to inquire about mounting and balancing new tires on one of my cars. Initially i was told something like 15 or 20$ per tire. Which was fine, so i called again the next day to confirm avalbiltiy and pricing and shockingly the price changed. Now it went from "it depends on the rim size and tire size" i couldn't get a straight answer from the guy on the phone. Basically it could range from "xxx to xxx amount". Decided to give this place a shot again a few weeks ago, i needed an alignment done desperately after doing some suspension work because my typical go to place was book. I was quoted over $200 for alignment..almost 2x the price of the dealer. And..i tired to give this place a shot last week again, i needed my all season tires mounted on my rims in place of my summer tires. I was told that they do not mount used tires because of liability issues? Thats right..they won't mount your used tires here..never heard of a tire shop that won't mount used tires. Its really a hit or miss on who picks up the phone here from my experience. It's either someone who doesn't really care or cares a lot and tries to provide the best possible service. This place is usually pretty good. Travis and Aaron are amazing to deal with, however, when my husband went in last Tuesday to fix a flat tire, I was very disappointed with the way he was treated. The employee who helped him (I believe his name was Whipman) was extremely rude and nasty. He smelled like pot and looked stoned out of his mind. He turned us away saying he was too busy. TO FIX A FLAT TIRE!! MY HUSBAND WAS STRANDED WITHOUT A SPARE! I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS LOCATION!! UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE. he also said the F word several times. read more

Customer service makes stress free if I have any auto problem, they are reliable and honestly bring to my notice any thing going on with my cars. Cheap and very reasonable. This place was a complete disaster! After breaking down 12 hours from home we got towed to a Firestone only to have them tell us they were closing in an hour and couldn't help us. They called ahead to this store which was open longer and we got towed for a second time to this place. When we arrived the man behind the counter told us he just sent all of his techs home even though THEY KNEW WE WERE COMING! He told us he would have a 'tire guy' look at it. Needless to say that didn't work. After having to get a hotel and stay the night, the next morning they told us our truck started right up and that it was probably fine. At that point I insisted that they check a few things and had to tell them what to check - the battery, alternator and the fuel pressure. After finding low fuel pressure they changed the fuel filter and replaced the fuel pressure regulator. Over $500 later they said we were good to go. We left the shop AND BROKE DOWN LESS THAN 3 MILES AWAY! We had to be towed a third time in 2 two days! When we called and asked what they could do for us they told us they could 'run another diagnostic'. No Thanks! These people nearly ruined our family vacation. Thankfully we were towed to another shop who fixed the problem in 4 hours for less money than we had already paid this place to 'fix' the truck after keeping it almost 24 hours!! In truly our time of need these people were neither friendly, helpful or empathetic. Never did they offer any suggestions to what the problem might be, help us find a hotel in the area or even point us in the right direction. Worst experience ever!! Do not take any car there, ever! You're better off trying to fix it yourself! read more

My wife went in for a simple parking brake adjustment. For $29.99, it seemed all they did was loosen the brake handle, there was no difference in the way the brake worked. She went back and their "master mechanic" recommended over $650 in parts and labor to fix the problem. He said that the rear brakes were not operating properly due to the installation. We went back to the shop where the brakes were installed about 6 months ago, and they showed us how all of the brakes were working properly. They were able to make the adjustment within minutes FREE OF CHARGE. The parking brake now works perfectly and it didn't cost anything. I was able to get a refund from Firestone. I just can't help but wonder how many people have gone ahead with recommended repairs that were not necessary. If you go here, be careful and get a second opinion before forking over $$$$$. read more

Under no circumstance should anyone patronize this business. The staff is unbelievable rude, inconsiderate of customers time, and don't have a clue when it comes to customer service. I've had 2 full sets of tires installed by these guys that I purchased from Tire Rack and shipped directly to their store as they are a Tire Rack installer. I paid the extra for "Lifetime mount and balance" which includes rotations and also received roadside coverage as part of my tire purchase for flat repairs. I got a flat tire last week and called and was told they were really busy and couldn't do it for a week (that's today). I drove to the store today to get the flat tire fixed and tires rotated at 10 am (on a Wednesday) and was told I would have to leave it with them till the end of the day and that my tires (which only have 14,000 miles on them with a 65,000 mile warrantee) might be too worn out to even rotate. So they expect me to wait 8 hours to get a simple flat repair and rotation they might not even do? This on top of they told me they don't honor the tire rack warranty and I would have to pay for the repair ($20). Rather then waste my whole day waiting for something that takes 15-20 minutes to do I left and drove 2 blocks to Les Schwab tires where I have done business for years before making the mistake of doing this idiot Tire Rack deal with garbage installers. Les Schwab (where I am sitting as I write this) had my car in the bay working on it within 30 minutes and even though the tires aren't from them are doing the service for free because they understand what it means to take care of a repeat (even Judas type) customer. PS Les Schwab says there's nothing wrong with my tires (other then a fixable flat) and they are no where near worn out. Firestone is a total scam. My car is almost done (they're putting the tires back on now) and I've been here less than an hour. Thank you Les Schwab, screw you Firestone. read more

Came in today for an oil change and was helped by Chad and Lily. Eric changed my oil for me. The power in Antelope went out and my car was stuck 6 feet up in the air. Chad was nice enough to call me on his personal phone to let me know what was going on. Once the power came back on they worked on my car to get it finished. They were very nice and helpfully and got me out as quickly as they could. read more

After approximately 4 hours for an oil change for my vehicle, this was the last time patronizing this location. I've been a loyal customer for over 15+ years, and this location is by far the slowest. After dropping off my vehicle around 10:30am, I spent the first couple of hours at the gym, grabbing a bite to eat and some groceries across the street. After returning to Firestone around 2pm, I can see my vehicle in the first work station. I asked for an approximate time when it would be ready and I was told another 30-35 minutes. Then I see my vehicle finally being lifted for the actual work to be started. The 2 crew members who work I the vehicles do not move with any sense of urgency and they only started on the vehicle after I requested for a status. The oil change was finally completed a at 2:45pm, or over 4 hours later! Again, with the exception of the Manager who attended to the customers inside, the others seem extremely inefficient with no sense of urgency. Even though this location is closest to my residence, I will return to the Greenback Firestone for future vehicle maintenance. read more

I almost never ever write Yelp reviews but i I think this place definitely deserves it. I brought my car in to get an estimate on getting my Brake Booster replaced in my Honda. Was willing to leave my car with them till they could get to it to look at it, I just wanted a rough idea of how much the whole deal would cost. I waited 2 hours and heard nothing. Called and the gentlemen I was dealing with Andrew, said to give him 30 min and he would call some places for me and have an idea of what i'm looking at, which sounded reasonable to me. 3o min later he returns my call only to tell me he had called one vendor in that 30 min, and the part was in Georgia. So Andrew said he would continue looking and give me a call. 4 hours later, I had no idea what was going on with my car, and still had no estimate! So I called the shop and spoke a very rude gentlemen whose name I cannot recall, who seemed to care less that i was unhappy with the quality of service i was receiving. I came to pick up my car only to find out that they had Diagnosed my car and didn't bother to tell me what they found after inspecting it, and was greeted with a rude remark about being impatient because they hadn't fixed my car yet, but THAT WASN'T EVEN THE REASON I WAS UPSET!!! They didn't even bother to tell me that they found a nail in my tire before i felt either. I went home and found it in the notes they gave me. Poor customer service and poor attitudes. Definitely would not recommend anyone going there, unless you want to be treated poorly. read more

Ugh. I hate to say it but I think I actually trust these guys. I never trust my car with anyone and I will only take it in if I absolutely have to. I've come here 3 times so far. The first two times were for vehicle inspections for Uber. I always know what's wrong with my car and what needs to be done since I know how to work on cars. For both vehicle inspections, I knew what needed to be done and what didn't and their reports matched what I knew perfectly. They didn't try to sell me any garbage that I didn't need. Today I had to bring it in for an alignment (while I was there I just had them do a rotation as well, but I typically do those myself). I knew that my car didn't have any serious issues, it just needed an alignment. If they would have told me I needed a new tie rod or something, this would have been a completely different review but once again, they were straight up with me and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I'll still do most repairs on my car myself, but it's good to know I have another option if needed. read more
