Visited this location in need of support and assistance for our vehicle. The attendant at the desk never took any attention away from her phone call to even acknowledge the patron standing in front of her. Business is business respectfully; however, a simple gesture or "please hold" could have been appreciated. This place is run by a bunch of absolute bozos with no clue about customer service or how treat customers. I needed a re-inspection for de-tinting, said it would take 10 minutes and only be $10, you can just pop in. When I first stopped back, they told me the inspector was at lunch and come back tomorrow, but he was sitting right there. So, I came back next day and they made me wait another 10 minutes while this guy proceeds to type the previous customers info in computer. While I'm waiting my turn, another employee came out and started helping the lady behind me in line. I watched the guy who told me to wait type with one finger for 10 minutes before he even acknowledged me. Now, he says, I'll have to wait for the lady to get done and we only have one inspector. When I was there to cash out the person, a large , balding man with a beard was not there but out of the building. When he returned I mentioned it along with their communication was a lot to be desired. He went ballistic! HE STARTED SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS and continued to do so until I left. He stated I was telling him not to be a good father. I never said anything about that. He kept calling me Princess. I did not banter back. I had no idea what he would do. I was afraid of him. He was a lot larger than me. The mechanics in the garage even came to the window to see what was going on. No one tried to calm him down. Agreed to purchase a set of 4 tires( slightly over-priced) Did not have a lug-nut key. Was told the lug nut removal would cost 163$ per hr. This was after agreeing to an 830$ bill for tires and labor. Never, ever has this happened anywhere. The easily removed locked lug-nut is usually replaced with a new traditional nut. Approx. 8 bucks apiece. This obvious money grab is a shame, since spouse and I had been repeat customers. The Goodyear store 1/4 mile down the road charged 25$ for the lug-nut issue, and Was able to save almost 100$ for comparable tires. read more

Had my car in for an aliment/ took half the day off of work to do so just to get my car back with the steering wheel off to the right. Wow what do you not use a steering lock? Then when I bring my car back I get asked if I would want alignments for life. ......Now why would I want alignments for life when it can't be done the first time? Service at this Firestone is passable, but I won't be back unless I have to. I brought my car in for the requisite state emissions/safety inspection after I moved. The safety inspector found a plethora of things wrong that apparently only NY state thinks are issues that were going to set me back $350. I know that's not Firestone's fault, but the people I spoke with were not very understanding at my dismay - or the bind it put me in, since some of the parts were going to take a day or two to order. I definitely could have gotten the car to pass inspection much cheaper if I had time to take it to a body shop, but since I didn't the prices were outrageous. Firestone nickle and dimes everything.. they even charged $25 to put the new license plates on! I've changed plates 5 times in 5 states and this is the first time anyone has charged me for it. Communication among the people who work there also seems lacking. I arranged to get a ride to campus on the day I dropped my car off for its 'safety' fixes, but when I showed up at the appointed time the person in charge hadn't heard I would need a ride and had let the other worker go get breakfast, so I had to wait. To top it all off, my car doesn't seem to be running as smoothly since it was taken apart and put back together for the inspection. On the plus side, they were able to get me in quickly and get the issues my car had taken care of quickly, and it's nice they are willing to offer rides to and from work if your car needs work. read more
