Horrible customer service from store manager Joshua Minatel and service manager Sarah Jackson. Caused some issues with the vehicle after tire rotation. Nothing serious. Instead of being professional and resolve it quickly and satisfactory, store manager was very rude. Service manager initially refused to fix the issue. After contacting corporate office, they agreed to fix it but were extremely rude and unprofessional. Be very careful when you deal with those people! read more

Love this place! Olivia, the manager, is very professional and courteous. Even if I don't bring in a coupon, they give me whatever deal they have going on at the time. They are always honest with me and never do anything without a proper explanation. I 100% trust them to be honest with me. I always make an appointment and they are very fast and efficient. I got a notification on on Star that my tire was low. I had a nail in my tire when visiting my daughter in Indy from Michigan. I went Sunday morning to the 86th street location and said it would be 5:30 and I would have to leave it, it was shortly after 8 AM. I explained I had to be out of the Hotel at 12:00AM and needed to get home. They wouldn't make any exception for me. They did call the 86th and Washington store and they said sometime in the afternoon. I looked on Yelp and saw the Carmel store. With few options I went to their location figuring on striking out. There is a wonderful you lady working the front desk. A real nice gentleman running the shop. I told them about my problem and she gave me a two hour wait estimate. I agreed to wait. They were able to work me in quicker and I was back at the hotel by 10 AM. I can't begin to express how grateful I am to have taken the chance and been so well taken care of. The people are wonderful and I highly recommend their consideration when you want or need service in the Indy / Carmel area. read more

Do not go here! I went here with a friend to do a quick oil change and tire alignment. It took 2 hours!! I don't know about you but it shouldn't take that long for some simple maintenance work! The staff are extremely rude. After it was all done, my friends can started pulling to the left. She called them and said that she is bringing her car back to fix it and they said we can take you tomorrow. I don't think so...we spent two hours there! You are gonna fix it and do it right. The staff is nice but this place took literally 7 hours to fix my vehicle. After calling multiple times and trying to add things they "recommend" my total became $400 very quickly. I then picked my car up around 5pm (it was dropped off at 7am) and started driving to hear a foreign sound. I thought I had ran over something and got a flat tire. I get out to see that they didn't screw on the cover on the bottom front of my car. Assuming this is for the air filter and/or oil change and they forgot to put it back on. So here I am with the piece dragging on the bottom on my vehicle. I called to tell him and figure out a suggestion as they proceed to say "You actually don't need this part so you can take it to the dealership or just let it hang it will be fine." WHAT! I needed help in this moment and they were being completely rude and unprofessional. I will never return to this and neither will my fiancé or family. I know these guys might be people and I understand that everyone isn't perfect but I realize today that this isn't a place I'd trust with my vehicle and they try so hard to get you to spend money. They need to care more about their customer and building rapport. While sitting in the waiting room I also witnessed false claims about tires and they had no idea what they were talking about. I missed two appointments due to their timing. I truly hate this as I am a good person but this service is a very trusting one and I don't feel I can trust this Firestone. read more

We needed to have a tire repair done as our tire had been losing air for a few days. I called in the morning and was told the tire would be repaired that day. Got there an hour later and was told it wouldn't be fixed that day because there wasn't enough staff. So, my car was left overnight, and when I picked it up the next day there was a very sloppy job of black sealant placed along the tire rim, and the sealant had also gotten on the rim. And, the tire lost air that day. It was a messy, incomplete job that I paid for. read more

I have gone to Firestone and always been happy with their work and with the people who work there. It has become clear to me that the employees are personable in order to make customers feel comfortable while they scam on them. I took my car in and requested a brake inspection. I was told that my brakes were running metal on metal and that my rotors were warped. Thus, I would need full front brakes and they suggested replacing the rear as well. I thanked them and left with my quote. I have had previous experience with brakes and decided to do it myself. Boy was I surprised. Metal on metal is what happens when brake pads are completely gone and this friction causes bad rotors. When I removed my brake pads I saw that they were not gone. They were low. I was hearing a sound that was a high pitched squealing, but not a metal grinding sound. Brake pads have a metal sensor warning that alerts drivers that the pads need replacing. The sound I was hearing was the metal warning sensor on my brake pads. I was told I needed new rotors, as mine were warped and way too thin. Rotor thickness is measured in micrometers. I was told that the rotors on my car measured at 1. Brand new they measure at 9. When I took my brakes apart it was clear that the rotors were not warped in any way. I took my rotors to O'Riley and had them measure the micrometers. They gave me a measurement of just over 8. I had them turned only because my new pads were wider than my old ones. My old pads did not go all the way out to the edge of my rotors and my new ones did. Additionally, I was told my rear drums measured at 3/2 and there was no measurement provided for the rear shoes. Upon inspection, Firestone had not even removed my rear drums. Measurements are unable to be taken without first removing the drums. The number they gave me was made up and totally arbitrary. Finally, Firestone quoted me $65 for new rear brake pads. MY CAR DOESN'T EVEN HAVE REAR BRAKE PADS (because it has shoes). When I called to ask several of these questions I was told I would receive a call back; no one called. This was on a Friday. I followed up with another phone call on Monday and was treated awfully as soon as I started to ask questions. They had no answers. I was told that the brake pads were written up in the quote before the inspection report had been received from the technician working on my car and that they had not been removed once shoes and drums were added. I am not sure how you could miss something that is blatantly listed in a line of no more than 5 things. Furthermore, this means that even before they had any information about my vehicle they were already pricing the most that they could. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. There is no honesty and absolutely no accountability. They do seem like nice and genuine people, but it is only a means to an end. Pushed our 1995 Toyota Corolla in to find out if we need a new battery or some other fix. Instead of trying to sell a new battery, They replaced the "positive" cord leading to the battery. Appreciated them not attempting to up-sell. No appointment (obviously) had been made, and yet they got the car right in and all was repaired. We are happily on our way into the next 200K mile life with this old girl! read more

While the crew is polite I cannot recommend their services. I took my car in to have the tires balanced and all I ended up with is a damaged car. They crashed my mustang into one of their parts carts hard enough to punch a hole through the bumper claiming it had a sticky throttle. My car has an electronic throttle and does not stick. I take very good care of my car. the manager who was handling the issue did not even inspect the damage before speaking to me saying my bumper had a crease in it. Imagine my surprise when the car was pulled around (after hearing the tires squealing mind you) and seeing my bumper broken and smashed into the grill. To top all of this off they never balanced my tires and tried to upsell me an over a thousand dollar set of tires. not to mention all the greasy hand prints I had to wipe off after I had just taken my car to Mike's for a wash. I would give it a Zero, but that's not an option. I called last week to make an APPOINTMENT for a tire rotation and oil change. Dropped the car off at 7:30 a.m. this morning. My co-worker dropped me off at 5:15 p.m. tonight to pick it up. At 5:30 p.m....after looking at the car in the bay with the hood up, but no one touching it, I went to the counter to inquire about an ETA. "They are just starting on it now"...ummm...."I dropped the car off at 7:30 a.m. this morning with an APPOINTMENT". "I'm well aware of that" (said Sarah). "Pull the car out" (said I). Mark pulled it out of the bay and said "we over-booked our appointments today and someone should have called you to tell you that we were running behind"....ya' think? The lady who was in the waiting room when I walked in also asked for her keys because her car wasn't even in the bay yet. She was pissed! A couple of people walked in behind me after I was dropped off by my co-worker and saw how many people were waiting and turned around and walked out. Very poor customer service and obviously no management on site to manage the work flow for the business. Appointments mean nothing. Done ranting. Don't take your car there unless it's a true emergency. read more

Do not go here! I made an apportionment to get my car fixed at Firestone because the check engine light was on. Not only did it take 7 hours and a phone call from me, 5 hours in, to get them to look at my car they called back to tell me it would cost $900+ to fix it. This seems odd because I had done my research online (got a free computer hook up from Auto Zone to pinpoint the issue) and the most likely culprit of the engine light was a $300 dollar fix. I got my car back from Firestone still having to pay $94 for the diagnostic test that took 7 hours to complete. I called around to find another car place to take my car to get a second option and in the end it was the $300 fix and was not the fix that Firestone said I needed (which means if I got the car fixed by Firestone for $900+ it still would not have fixed the problem). Firestone told me that because I needed one thing replaced they had to replace all these other parts just because they were taking them out of the car (which I was told by the other car shop was not true). I recommended going up the street to Integrity Automotive in Carmel for friendly, truthful, and fast car work! It was a $94 dollar lesson... Never again Firestone! read more

My wife brought her 1998 Camry in for an oil change. The technician stripped the oil drain plug. They sealed it up and told her to keep an eye on it. When she told me what happened, we discussed it and decided to offer to pay for the new oil pan and gasket and ask the dealer to absorb the labor cost. They refused. The car was leaking on the garage floor, so my wife took it back and paid to have the necessary work done. They provided a minor discount, but this oil change wound up costing us over $600. They got our money this time, but we will not continue to have our car serviced at Firestone in the future. read more

This place is a clip joint. Had my car towed there with a ruined battery. Battery replacement $125. OK, spendy but OK, I expected that. Then they charged me a $90 "diagnostic fee" because they said the engine was flooded. Oh. Really, $90 for a flooded engine? I'll give them five stars for chutzpah--they said it with a straight face and wouldn't back off the fee. And I'll give them one star overall because they are dishonest chiselers. read more

Over the years, I've been to Firestone in Castleton, Carmel, and Noblesville. My best experience was definitely today at the Noblesville Indiana location. And my worst two experiences have absolutely been at the Carmel location. They were very dishonest with me once last year and then again last week. On both of these occasions, the same tech (named Tyler) worked on my car. Noblesville fixed the problem today that he was dishonest about last week. read more

Passing through Indiana on 2/25/18 on our way to Minnesota, we hit a massive pothole popping our tire. We called the closest Firestone and were told they may be able to fit it us in before 5 pm. It was 8:30 am. So, we called the Rangeline drive location and they told us to come on over and they would take care of us. Not only did they take care of us, they took us right in, even though the lot was full of cars. While waiting, we watched them take the same excellent care of others. The employees offering to work overtime to fit everyone in. They were done in an hour!!!! They even offered to submit the warranty to Bridgestone for our tire, so we didn't have to pay them for it and chase Bridgestone later. Talk about going above and beyond. It is a rare quality these days. Because of this, we will purchase our next tires at Firestone. The manager and employees at this location are exceptional!!! Well done guys!!!!! read more

Had an appointment. Still had to wait two hours. When driving away from an oil change and tire rotation, my car was severally pulling to the left. I called to let them know about the car pulling, and they told me I would have to come in the next day. I told them I don't have time, and they then huffed and told me I could come back in. Over $90. I have no trust in them. Went in for oil change and tire rotation. Thought that they had not preformed the tire rotation the last time I went in with my daughters car. So this time I marked my tires...sure enough they failed!!! They called and said it was done. I looked at my bill which stated they rotated the tires but when I looked at the car they were in the same place. I went in, asked if the did it and they said yes. I told them I had marked the tires and they had not been rotated. They immediately took my car in and did the rotation but I have lost all faith in this store and they have lost my business. read more

Complaint for Friday June 20, 2014: When a person takes there vehicle to a service or repair shop, they are taking it there because they need help taking care of it or repairing it. My mother took her car to the Carmel Firestone for a regular oil change, something that should have been easy and a stress free trip for her to make. I have never posted a complaint or bad review on a company before but what happened to my mother and I, is absolutely inexcusable. Carmel Firestone location, worst customer service I have ever experienced at an automobile service center. I am going to start off with stating that my family will NEVER go back to the Carmel location again. There is absolutely no reason we should have been treated the way that we were. My mother is foreign and sometimes there can be a communication barrier, which is why I wanted to speak to someone over the phone when she took her car in. (as I always do when she goes somewhere and needs help, she has the employee call me) I told her to have someone call me when she got there. She told me, that they told her, no one was going to call me. I tried calling 3 times to speak to someone I asked for the manager and I had to call back 2 other times, He hung up the phone on me all 3 times. Firestone; you might want to get an adult to run your store not a kid. Someone that is mature enough to handle issues when they arrive. The store manager hung up the phone on me 3 times. Instead of him trying to let me explain and resolve the issue over the phone he kept hanging up the phone on me. With the end result of me having to call a sheriff because he threatened that he was not going to release my mother's car. I was so upset, I ended up having to leave work and drive to Carmel to make sure my mom was given her car back. Firestone; I suggest you don't train your employees to threaten your customers. It's a bad business practice. I feel very strongly about the horrible way we were treated by the store manager David Louderback. Everyone in Carmel should know what happened and how my mother and I were treated. I certainly wouldn't want anyone else to be treated like this. Can't give no stars...too bad. Terrible experience. Dropped my van off Sunday night for a Monday morning appointment (brake noise). Monday evening, no van - can we keep it overnight and have it back to you Tuesday morning? Sure. Tuesday, more problems, more excuses, can we keep it overnight and have it back to you Wednesday? Ok (not much choice). Wednesday evening, you guessed it, more (not very creative) excuses can we keep it overnight? If you have to. Thursday at noon, can't get the right lug nuts for the van....a 2007 Dodge Caravan, this is NOT an uncommon vehicle. Three days after it was to be completed I got a $386 bill and the only thing I got from the original drop off was an oil change. They "found" three broken lug studs, but could not duplicate the brake noise I took it in for.....I wouldn't take a bicycle to this place. Terrible service, excuses that don't make sense and potentially lies to cover incompetence. read more
