Went in for 4 new tires and no issue getting them out in. A little pricey but no major issue. A week later my low pressure light came on while I was in the middle of no where. I had no choice but to try and keep driving and hope I made it to a place to put air in it. I didn't make it and the tire blew. Ok those thing happen i must have run over a nail or something. 2 weeks later two more tires start going down. I bring it in and no leaks. Obviously there is a leak but ok I get them topped off. A week later same two tires going flat with one going down much faster than the other. Again no leaks. I keep filing them with air for another week. I finally get the worst one replaced. I can't deal with it anymore. Then the one tire keeps going down. Bring it to another place and they tell me that the thread length for the valve is not long enough and even though it is tight it isn't sealing it tightly to the rim because it has reached the end of the thread. They fix it (at no cost) and miraculously no more leaking tire. I am only assuming but I believe there is enough evidence that this was the same issue on the other two tires. If so then that is totally unacceptable for the amount I paid for the tires and the supposed quality that Firestone is supposed to be. Very disappointing. read more

I have an older Altima that was a bit in disarray, needs new tires, power steering took a "turn" for the worst, and I didn't have the wheel lock key. Ugh. Sometimes it's embarrassing to bring in an older car that needs some tlc but these guys today were next level great today. After being turned away from a different tire shop because they were unable to unlock the lug nuts, I was dreading going somewhere else. I should have known better. I came in for an oil change with a groupon. The guys here are always really friendly and very informative. I read a lot about how they try to get your money and they're always telling you that your car needs extra work, since when did that become a crime? I may be a girl, but I know a thing or two about my car, so when I came in for my oil change and they told me the things that needed to be looked at, I already knew. They're mechanics, they're a business, of course they're going to offer to fix the issues with your car, THEY'RE A BUSINESS. Try not being so clueless about your vehicle and maybe it won't come as a surprise when they tell you you're getting ready for a tuneup. I for one appreciate them looking out and checking when I came in for a $17 synthetic oil change. Try getting that deal at jiffy lube. read more

I came in with two tires that were dangerously in bad shape. AAA told me I needed to get in immediately because my alignment was bad. I wasn't prepared to buy four new tires, but knew I had to for the safety of my son and I. I also knew that an alignment was going to be an extra expense that I wasn't excited about. Where do I begin... I went to Fletchers/Firestone to get my brakes replaced they quoted me $600 to replace them. I asked for a breakdown of the price; the manager said that a majority of it is due to warranty and labor. Obviously, I protested. I asked him " The brakes would cost me $200 at O'Reilly's so you're telling me $400 is worth of labor?" As you can guess by his answer he said yes. You could probably tell I wasn't going to be serviced by Fletcher/Firestone by this point, however, the manager begin to negotiate price with me; he was stating that he can give me a special here and knock off some price here in there but it was not enticing. I also want to mention that they told me my tires where in bad condition, even though I purchased them less than one year ago. Just when I think they couldn't do more of a dishonest service to me I made sure to look into this matter, I bought breaks at O'Reillys for 200 and went to a local mechanic that did the service for 150 and then got my tires checked at that local mechanic shop and another auto shop and they said my tires were perfectly fine.I don't know what type of business they're running over there but it's definitely reflected in the reviews and the continuing mistreated former customers that I talk to you about Fletcher/Firestone. read more

Did you know there is a difference between Firestone, and Firestone complete auto care? I stopped by Friday to get an oil change but they were too busy to do it. Lady was in line saying she called for an appointment and they told her she must have called another Firestone because they did not show an appointment for her. I should've known the trouble was then. I decided I would make an appointment for Monday while I was in the Firestone. I showed up Monday at my appointment time and the person in charge told me that no appointment showed but he could work me in it would take two or three hours for an oil change. If they can't even keep appointment straight I do not trust them to work on my car. I drove to another Firestone which worked me in and got an oil change in 35 minutes. read more

I have a 2001 Volvo V70. I had them replace the radiator and they broke plastic, lost screws, and eventually got it back together but I had to replace some of the screws that held down a lot of clamps. On another occassion, I also had a fuel smell that was horrible and a fuel leak. They replaced the fuel pump and sold me a warranty. The fuel smell was still there along with the leak. So to prevent me from bothering them again, they told me the tank was cracked. I ended up tracking the problem down to a rubber ring on top of the fuel sender unit that was sitting on top of some dirt. I fixed it myself for $2. I attribute these problems to the head mechanic at this location who needs to be tossed out. read more

One guy at the front desk was very nice, the other one who I believe is the manager was very rude. They do have reasonable prices with different coupons and deals.. I asked for a tire rotation with my oil change and paid for it only to find out that my tires were not rotated. Had an 8:00AM appointment for just the tire rotation and old change and they didn't even finish until 12:00PM!! read more

I am sorry to say have serious concerns about this particular location. I scheduled a 9 AM Sat appointment to get an oil change & tire rotation for my son who was home for the weekend. Dropped the car off at 8:15 and was told it would be ready before noon. Rec'd a call at 9:30 saying that the radiator hoses were leaking and the transmission needed to be serviced. Instead of taking the car to our trusted mechanic for major work, my husband authorized them to do an additional $700+ work just to get it done so my son could leave the next day. HUGE MISTAKE!!! Was notified around 3 PM that the work was done but they discovered another leak on another hose while they were doing the test drive, another $100 but they didn't expect to have the part til Monday. This last hose required a lot of work to get to that particular hose. WHAT??? I thought they were changing all the hoses, not just the ones that are easy to get to... so if that hose didn't leak, they weren't planning to change it... but I sure was under the impression that I was paying for ALL the hoses to be replaced. How would I know that the one you couldn't see was the one that wasn't changed. Big difference in expectations. They knew that my son needed to be in Tucson after lunch to meet with a new landlord. I have to admit that I decided to be the squeaky wheel to make sure that his car would be serviced asap. My 8:24 AM call gives me the impression that everything is on track and it would be done in a couple of hours, 10:44 not done and are now waiting for a gasket that only takes a few bolts to attach, 11:56 not done, 1:21 not done, 1:35 not done - finally swap cars with my son so he can meet his landlord, 2:49 get a call from Fletchers-mechanic having trouble. Had my husband leave work early so he could pick me up and get the car. Get there right before closing. Pay bill get the car and realize that they had NOT rotated the tires nor had they told us on Sat or anytime on Monday, that the tires had not been rotated. They argued that the tire was over 5 years and that DOT regulations and Fletcher's policy do not allow them to even TOUCH tires that are over 5 years. We didn't ask for a repair, we asked for a rotation...when I called another Fletcher location and asked whether they could rotate tires that are 5 years 2 months - I was told yes, up to 7 years. I called their Corporate office to ask the Corporate policy - I got a recording. I left my name and phone number and said I was ready to write an UNFAVORABLE Yelp review on June 28 - I have not heard from their Corporate Customer service. The thing is, they never told us that they had not rotated the tires and we had so many charges on the invoice, the total was what we expected that we didn't question it til we saw the car. My assessment: Based upon the other reviews and my personal experience, I almost feel as though they set the appointment and then hold your car hostage even though they are made aware of your schedule. If they had given me a realistic and honest appraisal of the time needed, I would have let my son take my car on Sunday - no one needed to be stressed. Based upon what they say they are going to do, what they put on the invoice verses what they actually do -- that's the scary part, I don't really know. It is buyer BE WARY and yes, this experience truly gives the entire industry (especially car repair franchises) a black eye. I feel sorry for all those who do give good service, good time estimates and who are honest. read more

Tried to up-sell us on service we didn't need when we went in for brakes (the brake job was fine, though). Like dummies, we went back about 9 months later when our car overheated (can you blame us, it was RIGHT THERE and we didn't want to drive an overheating car). They told us we needed a new timing belt and a whole bunch of other stuff we knew was a load of crap b/c we had literally just had the timing belt and water pump replaced a few months ago. Liars! Had the car towed to our regular guy (inconvenient, because he's far away) but not after Fletcher's $89 fee to give us bogus info. Wanna know what the problem really was? Went to the Marana store on cortaro and Leilani lane. I first tried to make on appt on their website which told me I would get a call. No call. The following day I called and made an appt by phone for the Marana store. They asked how to spell my name and I confirmed the store location before I got off the phone. Next day I went in at 8 am gave Steffan my keys told him I had an appt for a full synthetic oil change. He said it would be an hour. I left to go work out at the park next door. I returned 45 minutes later and guess what my truck is still parked where I left it. Steffan said he tried calling me. He advised he couldn't find me in his appointments so he didnt service my vehicle even though it was clear what I wanted. I was upset needless to say. He refused to give me the General managers # said he would pass on my info to him. I got in touch with GM Mark at the Tangerine store. I have not heard anything back from him. It has been 2 days. SO DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO FLETCHERS. They don't care about you. So why would they care about your car. Are you willing to chance it. If they can't handle simple appointments and call backs what kind of care do you think your vehicle is getting? The attitude they have is business wide as far as I can tell by other reviews of them, so I will not take any of my vehicles to them. read more

We have been going here for years and each time we get the car back there is something wrong. The first time we got all four tires replaced, and they put them on backwards. Yup, backwards! We brought the car back and then they asked us who put the tires on backwards. They should have known they were the ones that did it just by looking it up in their computer system. Anyways, we brought in another car to get all the tires replaced as well. We figured we would be nice and give them another chance because accidents happen. The tires were put on correctly this time, thankfully! But when we got home, the PSI on the tires were supposed to be at 34 and they were all in the high 40's or 50's. This is unacceptable. I understand if the PSI is +/- 5, but +/-10-20 is ridiculous. Alright, so let's flash-forward 6 months after I have put 5,000 more miles on the car/tires. Since this place has been so incompetent, we decided to rotate the tires ourselves. Well, we would have loved to but the lug nuts were put on so tightly by Fletcher's that we could not get them off with 300+ pound/feet torque. The lug nuts should not be put on more than 80-100 pound/feet torque. If I had gotten a flat on the side of the road, I would have been unable to replace my tire and I would have been stranded. So I brought the car in and told them about the situation. I nicely asked them if they could loosen the lug nuts, which would have taken 5 minutes. Instead I was dismissed and told that I would have to make an appointment or wait till they could get to it. I decided to leave it there because I didn't want to wait another day. I dropped it off at 10:30am and it was not ready till 5:00pm. Good thing I didn't need my car that day. They ended up rotating the tires for free, which I appreciate. Hence, the one star. Otherwise I would give them zero stars if I could. I made sure that the lug nuts were not as tight as before. They were still difficult to get off, but at least it was possible this time. I am not one to give bad reviews, but since we have had multiple bad experiences I think it was important that I write one. Please find yourself another shop. Fletcher's may be convenient and cheap, but paying up or driving further for a better shop it certainly worth it. read more

My car developed an idle problem when I first moved here last August from Wisconsin and I tried to diagnose it myself, narrowing it down to what I thought was the idle air control valve.I was by myself with nobody to relay on and Fletcher came through for me.I provided the part that I thought was the problem and the mechanic felt it was also the problem bc all the symptoms matched. I was in a time crunch bc I had to renew my registration but couldn't do it bc my check engine light kept coming on and baffling the mechanic...he took the time to make adjustments and finally solved my issue without it costing me a ton of money. I was on a tight budget and they never charged me more than what they quoted. I was so happy that they went out of their way to help me and they got the problem solved with patience and trial and error. Called and spoke with Israel the shop manager and asked for details about a full synthetic oil change he told me the price and told me he was not busy to bring the vehicle down to him.Took time out of my day left work on my lunch break to check my car in and leave it with Firestone for an oil change. I left the vehicle with them.They asked when I wanted to pick it up I told them 5 o'clock and they said ok. At 3 I called them back because I had heard nothing from them they told me I was next to be pulled in. Get a phone call at 4 o'clock saying that they won't have my vehicle ready till 7pm??? I bought a package that included an oil change and a wheel alignment. When I picked up my car and asked about the wheel alignment, I was told that it was taken for a test drive and there was no significant pulling. I asked why it wasnt checked with the tools they have and was told that I would need tires soon and there was no point. My tires have at least 20,000 miles still left on them. I was obviously upset and the thin Caucasian guy with the tatoos at the counter tried to stare me down, and looked away when he didnt succeed. Tires where not rotated either. The attitude seems to be that they're doing customers a favor by graciously accepting the work and the overpriced charges. Apparently I saved this as a draft. It's been about two months and I have updated it since. This place was an absolute joke. Having a groupon and not an appointment- my husband waited 3 hours and finally called me to tell me it wasn't going to work out. I phoned while he was there for an appointment so I could take it another day and explained I also needed tires anyways. He told me that they had availability "right now and to bring it in". I should have steered away immediately based off the fact that he was a liar but figured maybe they were just greedy and made appointments priority for those spending money. I took my husband to work and then took my car back. We are a one car family and I went and took my 3 daughters ages 11, 3 and 9 mo with me. Despite it being 116 outside we walked across the street to Target while they worked on it. I asked them to call me once it was done or if they needed anything. A called over an hour after and they didn't even remember who I was. They said about 30 more minutes. We waited 40 and then walked back (about 15 minutes). Upon entering my van was still up and he said they were finishing up (full oil change, new tires and changing front left bulb in blinker). We waited another 30 minutes and when I went up- again had to explain who I was. Mind you this is the same person I'm dealing with each time. I finally get called and they explain that I needed a new filter ($15) and power steering fluid and that I can - get this- make an Appointment to come back in! I asked why they didn't just call me since my car has been there and can they do it now. The manager on duty said it would take too long since the car was not down and scoffed and said "in all my years you are the first to get upset I didn't charge you more money". I explained NOT WHEN IT COMES TO MY KIDS and SAFETY!" I left. After leaving I realized that my front blinker was still not fixed. I got out to see that the WHOLE HOUSING was missing. A literal hole. I called and went back (now 15 minutes after closing). When I got there the guy met me at my car and looked at the front and told me to "turn it on and test it" wtf. It's not there! He calls back o the bay for a tech to come over and two guys come over and they are full on arguing about whose fault it was. They put it in and I leave. 10 minutes after leaving- my oil light comes back on along with my low tire pressure light. I went to Christian Brothers across the street where they topped off my fluids (coolant was almost empty), put air in my tires and reset my switch for FREE. The following day my husband went to go drive my car and realized that our seat controls no longer work. Our car is fairly new and they worked perfect prior to that day. My tire pressure has gone off every two weeks since and it seems that all of them have issues. We will never ever give this place our business again. There is a reason that of over 15000 members in A local forum people recommend Christian Brothers and not Fletcher's. They are absolutely awful. TERRIBLE experience. I booked an appointment for 9am to have my breaks changed. I left my car and came back at 11:30 and my car didn't even move from the parking that I put it in! Then after I asked them what was going on, they finally pulled it in the back and put it on the rack. Then after another hour and a half I asked them again how much long with would be, the guy went to go check on it, and they barely got the inspection done! Then they told me that they don't have parts and its going to be another hour and a half. I was there 4 hours they did absolutely nothing to my breaks. I was so upset and just left. And I wasnt the only one waiting long as well. I'm never going to that location again. read more

First you say GET a call. But I call instead. Then, when I tell you I called you claim, "WE'RE BUSY?" Then he says they're booked solid and either come another day or leave my car. I'VE GOTTA LIFE, WITH A LOTTA THINGS TO DO IN IT!!! LEAVING MY CAR IS NOT AN OPTION!!!" Here's My Advice! If you're SO BUSY! HIRE A RECEPTIONIST!!! Plant her butt in that chair. Her ONLY responsibility is to answer phones and schedule services. THAT'S IT! It's not THAT complicated. For Tires, Put them in for Tires. For Brakes. Put them in for Brakes. For Oil. Put them in for Oil. For I don't know. Put Them In for THEY DON'T KNOW!!! Again, it's not THAT COMPLICATED! If you are still that busy. Hire her to schedule a time for someone to get back to them about what it is they feel they need done. KEEP IT SIMPLE!!! YOU'RE POPULAR ENOUGH! YOU CAN AFFORD "HER"!!! I'll get my service done elsewhere. It's an oil change. I've performed my own with less equipment. By myself it would take an hour. I'm new to AZ and I wasn't sure where to go for a set of new tires. I came across Fletcher's and I'm very happy I did. The tires I ordered were ready the same day. I was unable to take my truck that day, or the next, or the next, but they were understanding and not once made me feel like I was a problem. I received the best attitude. Troy has an awesome personality and is fast with getting things processed. In addition to the services they gave me, I had totally forgot to tell them that my spare had a nail in it and I wanted to switch it out with one of the old front tires, luckily I remembered as I was paying and I mentioned it to them.. and immediately They ran to the back to make sure they caught the old tires before they were taken away. They told me they'd hold it for me and asked me to go back the next day to help me out. I am very grateful for their teamwork and excellent way of making me feel like they got my back! Mark (the manager) treated every single person with a smile and acted like they were the only ones there. When I reached him he greater me by NAME! What service. I am from LA and was just trying to get a reputable place for my kids who just relocated to take their car to. Boy did I hit the jackpot! They completed all the service work in approx 45 mins and did not try to up sell me. I trust these guys and will recommend them.
