I had the best experience today at Firestone!!! My batter in my Jeep died the night before when I was trying to leave work. I was worried I would be late to work this morning because I needed a new battery. But Allen Sarkissian hooked me up! He checked me in, updated my contact info, called to reactivate my Firestone Credit Card, put on new wipers and had them change out the battery all in less than 25 minutes!! It was a miracle! Stay away! Went in for a simple patch and they tried to tell me I needed to have my tire replaced... 400 bucks? I told them to fill it and slap it back on my car. Went to tires buy mark the old faithful stand by and got it taken care of for 10 bucks... That's a deal not a rip off like these guys. read more

Great experience! I usually have bad experiences at tire stores, (like getting ripped off by about $300-500) but the 401 S Brand St location is great because of the people who work there. Alan and Genisis give great customer service. I needed a tire of mine checked out because of a slow leak and called the Firestone closest to my home but the guy who answered the 10785 Santa Monica Blvd, West LA location made it seem impossible to just get an appointment. He said if I did get an appointment, I would definitely not be in and out in under 1 1/2 hrs (all that just to diagnose a slow leak problem), and that if I arrive at 7AM, I will probably have to wait more than 3 hrs because people start lining up at 4AM. I asked if he could suggest a less busy location, he said not really. WOW. He basically discouraged me from going to any Firestone. Meanwhile, in the time it took to have that phone call with that negative person, Genesis at the 401 S Brand St location was filling my tire with a bit of air and found the slow leak (all in about 3 minutes). Took my car in for an oil change on a Saturday (maintenance service for my Benz lease). I dealt with Allen the manager. The place is very clean and professional. The only downside is that you will have to wait. It took 2 hours (as estimated) because they were busy. I personally think that's a small price to pay for peace of mind dealing with quality technicians. read more

Took in my vehicle for a sound coming from the suspension and Avo and one more mechanic whose name I didn't quite catch, got it diagnosed and fixed. I was very pleased with the expertise and professionalism that Avo demonstrated in fixing the car, he even went along for a test-drive on the freeway to ensure the sounds were gone. The manager Allen and service adviser Vanessa were great as well. I have to reduce 1-star though for the price of the parts. My vehicle needed 3 suspension parts replaced as part of the repair and each was priced approximately 3 times the price for the same part in Amazon and Rockauto. I understand that getting the parts on the same-day in one hour is going to cost more than getting it shipped, but a 200% markup is extremely inflated. Not sure if the prices of the parts are determined by each location or by Firestone corporate, but that's something you may want to check when you get a quote. Manager Allan treats his customers like kings. I thought I can get an early start by dropping the car off at 6:30 in the morning. He had already open the shop before at 7 AM. Explained what the problems were and within five minutes I'm out of the store. He was able to find other problems that are covered thru my service warranty AND was able to save $140 off tire purchase with opening a credit card! Since I needed to go to work that day, Allan was generous enough to give me a 1 day car rental. This is how customer service should be modeled, in any business. read more

I have to commend the employees here. I had set up an appointment to have all 4 tires of my 2017 Honda civic replaced. I am taking a road trip driving about 4,500 miles so I wanted to make sure my tires were up to the task. I took my car to be serviced at the Honda dealer and was told my tires would probably have to be replaced mid trip. So after shopping around decided to come into Firestone, the associate was very attentive and took my car keys to get the mileage of my car and look at my tires. To my surprise he came and let me know my tires are in great condition and it would be a disservice to sell my new tires when I have perfectly good tires that would last me during my trip and then some. I was extremely grateful that instead of trying to make a sale he was honest contrary to the Honda dealer associate. Although I walked out without making any purchase, I will for sure be back to buy my tires here and considering also getting my car serviced for oil changes here as well. Came here for my oil change and they told me that I would have to wait 1 hour & 30 mins. Is not even that busy! The only reason why I waited was because I got a coupon to get oil change plus filter for $16.99. Normal price would cost me $34.99 which I think is a little pricey. They fit me in, no appointment needed. I walked down the street and bought a t shirt and had a coffee. They made sure I got the best deal on my oil change and reminded me I needed a new battery. There wasn't any funny stuff. In addition to being honest they carry Interstate batteries which most car guys will tell you may be a bit pricey, but worth every penny. I will keep going here. Great guys. Took my car in to have my battery checked because I drained it the night before (it was my fault) and it turned out I needed a new one. They had me in and out in about 30 minutes, which was very nice, but my review involves more than that. On my way home, I discovered my automatic window function wasn't working. I took it back to them to see if there was anything they could do. When I pulled in, the guy who changed out my battery recognized every and stopped his work to ask me if anything was wrong. I explained the window issue and that it had started only after my battery died. He wasn't sure at first what it could be, then asked me to wait, that he would see if he could figure it out. We both agreed that checking YouTube might help. A couple minutes later he came back and fixed the issue. He said he found a YouTube video and we had a good laugh about that. I neglected to get his name, unfortunately, but I expect I will become more familiar with them in time as I plan to take my car there in the future. Excellent service, all around! read more

Went here for rear tires and wasn't sure if I would need front tires, as well, or an alignment, etc. The employee that helped me was very nice and honest with me about how much life was left on my tires. He honored a deal that was for 4 tires even though I was only buying 2. Even though it was the close to closing, he also checked my alignment (which was slightly off) and corrected it free of charge.
