I drop my car and after couple hours got a call from Allen that my car is ready. He then amaze me with what happened to my car: he told me that one of the bolts was damage and they couldn't open it. They took my car to BMW dealer in the area, had them reconstruct the damage bolt and install the new tires in less than 3 hours. They didnt charge me for the extra work on the bolt. Thank you! We made an appointment for 8:00 am 2 weeks before going in. They said it would be a few hours (only for brakes). We took a walk to have breakfast and go to the mall. When we called at 10:30 after not hearing from them about approving work after the inspection, they told my boyfriend my car was up next. We came back at 11:30 my car was in the exact same parking spot I had left it in. My boyfriend asked them about it and then they took it over immediately. I didn't leave until 1:30 pm. When my boyfriend asked what the point of their appointment system was, they didn't seem to appreciate that. He also let them know he paid much less for the same service at another Firestone location in West LA. I came to this location at the urging of my boyfriend who had been so impressed with the West LA location. I was hoping for the same experience but I will likely not return :( read more

Bad experience at all, one of the technicians doesn't even know how to remove a spare tire from a vehicle that he was working on!

I'm giving two stars instead of one because they did correct my alignment and it has driven fine since. That is all I went in for. Like many places they decided to inspect the rest of the car unprompted. When I went to pick up my car they gave me a list of issues to correct. I declined additional services and carried on. Today I went to another shop to get my brakes checked because TWO employees here insisted that I urgently take care of my brakes. One of them even stopped me on my way out stressing the importance. The mechanic at today's shop was very honest and showed me my brakes and said he was confused as to why I was checking on them bc they are completely fine. He then checked my engine light and found only one issue to replace versus the scroll Firestone gave me. I'm disappointed in the lack of integrity this location has shown and am disgusted that they would use their power to prey on vulnerable customers that don't know better. I hope this saves someone a some money and from being cheated by these scammers. read more

I brought my car in because the "replace brake pad" notification came on. Prior to my appointment I looked at my rotors and they were fine. A couple of hours later they called me to tell me that I needed to replace my front brake pads and rotors. I advised him I just need my brake pads replaced. He then told me that they can't just replace the pads it would have to be both for my vehicle. I told That wasn't true because I have replaced just the brake pads before. I told him I would take it elsewhere. He then told me I owed them $21 for the inspection. I advised him that I have a coupon which includes a free brake inspection. He then said that was only for certain vehicles. I told him that was not true. It doesn't say that on the coupon. He said that he would waive the charge just pick up my car. When I got there about 30 minutes later my car was still on the lift tires still off and the hood of my car up. Not sure why the hood was open for brakes. Beware. read more

I just spent a good amount of money for an inspection that's lasted 5.5 hours. I specifically asked them to check under the car for anything weird because it was making a weird noise. When we got the car back, they said they fully checked the under carriage and everything was perfect. We drove off and the noise was still there but thought nothing of it because they said nothing was wrong. Well, that was incorrect and they never even looked at the car. We started driving on the freeway and there's a loud noise and the undercarriage protector fell off. Took it to the nearest dealer and they said it's been like that for awhile and that we were scammed at Firestone (this isn't the first time). Don't go here, especially for an inspection. They don't actually inspect anything. They just take your money. The guy I spoke to when I got it actually fixed said that it's completely wrong for a company like Firestone to do this and that it happens all the time with this particular location. Trust me, never go here. Also, they said it would be 3 hours and it took 5 and a half. Plan for that. read more

As a female, I unfortunately experience a lot of bullshit when I go to mechanics....some places try to take advantage of me or assume I don't know squat about cars just because I'm a female. This has caused a lot of challenges for me in trying to get my car serviced the way I know it needs to be..... But not here :) the customer service here has been friendly and impeccable. The mechanics and technicians are straight shooters not out to make a buck, but hard workers trying to ensure that you have a good experience and feel like a valued customer. Today for example, I found out I had a nail in my tire and rushed over here to see if it could be patched. It couldn't and I needed to actually replace my back two tires (which I knew I needed to do soon anyway). The manager took care of me, cut me a great deal on tires, but also rushed the work (despite being swamped already) so that I could get out of here in less than an hour. They created problems for me before I arrived at the place. I called in the morning and spoke to the service manager. Informed him I had an FJ Cruiser and needed an alignment. "Bring it on in!" he tells me. Maybe 90 minute wait. I make an 16 mile round trip to get the car from home on my lunch break. I pull into the lot and he's happens to be walking from the garage to the waiting area when I pull up. He looks at me and says "what are you coming in for?" I tell him I spoke to someone on the phone who said to bring my FJ in for an alignment. He gives me this "gee wizz, sorry pal" expression and tone and says "we can't align tires that big. We don't have the equipment required to attach to your all terrain tires." I ask "Most FJ Cruisers have big tires because they are designed for off-roading. Why didn't you tell me this on the phone?" He says he's sorry again, and to go down the street to Need4Speed. They can do it...... His credibility now below ground level, I call "Need4Speed" before I made the drive and they inform me they don't perform alignments at all. The best part about this place is that while the price of an oil change ($28.99 WITH filter!) is more or less competitive with the other cheap "grease" shops, like Jiffy Lube and EZ Lube, etc.... they DON'T HASSLE YOU. I repeat: They. Do. Not. Hassle. You. With. Sh*t. Your. Car. Does. Not. Need. Nothing's worse (okay there are worse things) than when you're in a rush at a lube shop, and the guy calls you out, and all your car's sh*t is neatly displayed (like your air filter, cabin filter, yadda yadda) under the hood, and they make you sit through a ten minute sales pitch, about stuff you're 99% sure your car doesn't need. And then they judge you when you say no to everything. Feck off. Last time, super cool rep Ricky gave me a free oil change for the next time because my tranny flush took longer than it should have. But due to the fact that they stripped the threading on my oil pan while changing my oil, I'm a bit livid. Never had any issues til I came here for a promo special. Got a tire here as well which was put on quickly and got in and out in 30 min. which was great. But the fact the screwed up majorly and say it's just wear and tear does not fly with me but not much I can do as I can't drive around leaking oil all over the place. read more

I had made an appointment, then called to change the date and when I arrived on the rescheduled time, I was told I had no appointment. It worked out OK because it was so early. In general, I didn't feel pressure to get any upgrades. I felt that I got honest answers to my questions and that I wasn't pushed around because I'm a woman (which I'm always a little afraid of when I go to auto shops). FYI the oil change was $80 (WTF? I still don't fully get this one...). They pointed out some other things on the car that need repairs and I'm getting a second opinion, but all in all I felt I got a good experience. read more

Speedy convenience with professional help and courtesy. My 1997 Subaru Impreza was in need of axle repair. The peoples at FireStone not only took care of the axle but also switched out my gaskets that were leaking. Although it's common for mechanics to tag on extra repairs, Firestone was super honest. I took the same car to two different places which quoted me for all these other repairs that didn't need to be done (taking into consideration that the OBD was spitting out readings that were getting screwed up by a loose radiator cap). The total came out to 100 bucks more than I was expecting to pay. But, I definitely feel more safe. Also Alan hooked it up with Uber to and from work. Took advantage of that for sure. read more

He is very friendly and straightforward in an industry that seems (from my travels today) to be filled with cold, indifferent, uninformative liars. Come here first! Ask for Allen! Tell him you saw this on Yelp and believe he'll give you the best deal and will be straight with you about your options and the real prices. I even had a kind of confusing discount and he stepped by stepped it for me, showing me their cost, normal price, and how the discount applied. Just as the name says it, "Complete Auto Care" is what I experienced at this Firestone location. I had tires that needed to be replaced ASAP. Prior to my visit to Firestone, I had called my car dealership where I always go to get my car serviced and didn't have much luck. The dealership didn't have the tires I needed in stock and said they'd have to order them which would take a few days. Since I couldn't wait, I decided to call Firestone. I talked to Allen and he said that they have them in stock and to bring my car in and we will take care of it for you. I was there in 30 minutes. Do you also need an oil change? Yes. I dropped it off and within two hours I came back to pick it up. Everything was complete including new brakes and and even new wind shield wipers. (I forgot to mention I'd need new wipers but Allen checked it for me anyways and replaced them) Four new tires, oil change, breaks fixed, and new wind shield wipers, no advanced appointment, no hassle and no waiting and completed in only 2 hours? That's pretty impressive I'd say. Seriously have never had such an easy time getting my car serviced and now I definitely have a new place I will always go to in the future.
