Clean, quick, and friendly all the requirements needed for a good yelp experience. Currently they are running a special on their oil changes 19.99. Who doesn't love a great deal. Not to mention they will check your fluids, tires and wipers ( the basics) for free. The guys here were quick and professional from what I can see. It's nice to have a decent shop close by for minor repairs. As long as they can maintain their honest approach then things will be good here. Oh yeah the 5 star experience came when the gentleman at the front offered us bottled water while we waited. We stopped in after a practice so we were definitely thirsty. She had to ask about a quote she had to ask about recommendations. They were quick to throw the price of 130 dollars to replace one sensor. Had the same experience as Mike L. Wanted to try them as they are in the neighborhood. Made an appointment for new brakes in advance so that they would have the right parts, etc. 90 minutes later, they were still combing through my car trying to find something else to repair...hadn't ever started the brake job! Told them to put the car back together and went elsewhere. I envision the "little old ladies" from the retirement community being cleaned out of their social security checks. I'm guessing this practice comes from the corporate office to make sure that they get as much from each customer as possible? Some people may even appreciate this, but I think a conversation with the customer is necessary up front prior to this kind of approach. My time is important also...not just your revenue. I drove to Las Vegas from San Diego knowing my wheel bearing needed to be changed, but thought it would be fine. Well by the time we made it to Vegas it was soo loud I knew I had to get it fixed or I wouldn't make it home safely. I tried a dIfferent firestone who happened to be way too busy and wouldn't get to my car until Monday. I called this location and they assured me I could come in and get it fixed. The repair was reasonably priced and these guys got it done super fast! I was impressed and so appreciative since we still had a long drive home that day. I was in and out in an hour and the car ran perfectly with no loud wheel bearing noise. Great experience for not such a great situation!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I went in to replace my brake pads, and a regular oil change. I dropped off my truck in the morning, and it took them 7 hours just to call me back after I called them first to give me a status check. Before they did any of the work I asked them to do. They decided to do a full diagnostic check that I didn't agree to. They gave me a rundown of so called leaks, broken springs, and tears in the shocks with a quote of $2,700 of what they said was wrong with my truck. My truck isn't even worth that much! And they also gave me a quote for $740 dollars to replace the brakes, rotors, and oil change. They also said they would need to keep my truck another day for labor. I told them I wanted a second opinion on the phone, and they said they normally won't let people leave in the condition my truck is in. It's my truck, and if I don't want service done than get over it. Like my truck is all of a sudden going to explode if I drive it another mile or two!!? After they said on the phone that they were ready for me to pick it up, it took them another 30 mins to deliver my truck to me. There were no other vehicles in the shop at this point of the night except mine. I took my truck to another shop. They said there was nothing wrong with my truck, except for the brakes and rotors. Which they charged me $225 for. And the job was finished in a couple hours. Also they noticed that firestone overfilled my oil with more than a quart too much of oil. These guys at this firestone are snakes that just want to take advantage of people. I also appreciate the waste of time they put me through. Stay away. read more

Long story short, I was not a customer this time. I had taken a taxi from a business down the street, and the cab driver questioned me if I had money, and when I stepped out he left with my luggage. GINO SAN MIGUEL, the Service Manager, did everything he could to help me. He allowed me to stay in the lobby while I charged my phone and called the police, and let me charge my phone while waiting. I took my BMW here several months ago to get my oil and filter changed. I thought everything was fine; however, yesterday, I tried changing the oil myself and had the most difficult time taking off the oil filter cap. I took my car to a shop nearby my house and they told me that the last place to work on my oil "messed up" -- the oil filter was screwed way too tight, and probably used glue to secure it down. Definitely a BIG NO-NO. Also, the filter was disintegrated and may have not been changed! I suspect this could've also been caused by the oil bearings not placed properly... but whichever is the case, I'm very dissatisfied to hear that the last place to work on my vehicle (Firestone) may have messed up my vehicle. I'm never taking my vehicle here again and recommend you do the same. Here's hoping that my car did not get damaged from Firestone's lack of workmanship. read more

I needed a flat repair and an oil change. Assuming they didn't screw me over, they did a good job. But why 1 star? One of them stole my Auxiliary Cord. I didn't even realize until a few minutes after I drove home when I picked my car up after the repairs. And no, I did not simply misplace it. I never took it out of its jack ever, and it was placed in the jack before I gave them my keys. It was only $6 so I didn't bother driving back to fight them, but it's incredible sad you CANNOT TRUST them with your car. PRO TIP: Please take out any valuable belongings before you hand over your keys. read more

This place is terrible. The first time I went they couldn't do what I wanted. Said it was company policy - ok, fine, not a big deal. I wouldn't hold that against them but the employee I talked to wasn't particularly friendly. I went in yesterday to get a battery replaced. I walked in at the same time as a family that had apparently already been in for service and came back to complain about something not working. We waited a good 5 minutes before anyone came in to help us. After they were finally dealt with he came back to see what I needed. Told me it would be at least 15 before he could help me but checked to see if they had my battery. He went back outside to finish what he was doing without taking any of my info. There were other people in the waiting area so I ended up having to sit under the TV. I don't know what show they had on but it was Kyra Sedgwick repeatedly screaming and calling some woman a bitch in a terrible southern accent. During my time sitting there people with kids were coming and going through the lobby, and I couldn't help but wonder why they thought it was appropriate to have this on. I would have asked someone to change the channel but everyone was outside working on cars. Don't get me wrong - I don't have delicate ears - but there are some things a responsible business just doesn't do. The rest of the time was spent listening to the phone ringing incessantly, because, like I mentioned, everyone was outside. I brought a book to read while I waited but between Kyra screaming and the phone ringing there would be no reading. Instead I used my time to Yelp another nearby location with higher ratings. I found one closer to my house and walked out. I won't come back. read more

Had truck battery die on me today and they got me right in, no waiting, replaced and I'm on the road again. I have been taking my 2007 IS350 to this location for my oil changes regularly now for 2 years and receiving good service every time. Last week my car would not start. Two days earlier I had just purchased a new battery! I had it towed to Firestone for repairs. They suggested the started was bad and replaced the starter. It would not start and suggested I take it to the dealership. Surprisingly when the tow truck arrived to take to dealership the car STARTED!! Go figure :) Justin the service manager waived all cost because they did not feel comfortable the problem was fixed. I have never received vehicle repair treatment to this level. The staff has been very professional and courtesy helping me deal with this car issue. I will definitely return in the future. read more

Beware! So, I wanted to wait and give it some time before posting this review. My gut feeling was that they were not telling me the truth so I went somewhere else and found out that I didn't need a new battery. The battery cables needed to be tightened and cleaned, that is all. I had a similar experience at this location with him telling me that I had repairs up to $646, which also turned out to be inaccurate. I took the car to my mom's mechanic and he charged me $125 to replace a belt. All I can say, is that this particular fire stone is in a predominately elderly and age restricted community. Had a screw in my tire on a Friday night as luck would have it the only place open near my home was this location. I needed the tire fixed as it was leaking air quickly and i was having to stop and put air in every hour or so. We (Myself, My 74 year old father, and my 10 year old son) pulled into this location at approximately 7:40 PM (website states close at 8PM) and i spoke to the man in the garage bay and he said they are getting ready to close and everything has been put away but i could go inside and speak to the manager. I went inside (No greetings or concern by the 3-4 employees standing around waiting to go home just a silent feeling of get this guy out of here so we can go home) and i then spoke to a man that was standing at a computer and asked if he could repair my flat tire he said he would take a look. He came outside and said No, no, its too close to the tirewall and wouldnt be able to repair it. (Classic Scam artist response) I asked him what my options were and he said well you could buy a new tire and I said "How much?" He said about $200.00. I finally said OK - i get it you arent gonna help me with my tire. He said we can put some air in it for you and he sent us (Myself, My 74 year old dad and 10 year old son) on our way with a nail in our tire on a 15 mile ride across town to the nearest place that was open.. I had found a 24 hr repair shop on Spring Mtn called Busy Bee. we then Drove 15 miles or so with the nail in my tire over there.TIRE WAS REPAIRED NO PROBLEM $15. Took the man about 10 minutes, My advice to Firestone Mgmt - Train your employees to learn that they are expected to work 8 hrs for 8 hrs pay and, then maybe take them to a Les Schwab so they can see what its like for workers in your industry that excel at everything they do and hustle and smile doing it. So disappointed with the service I received here today. I had scheduled an appointment to replace my car tires on my Tesla Model S. When I picked up my car, I was informed that there were grease spots on my tire rims. After I paid my bill, I went out and inspected my tire rims. Where there were a few minor smudges of grease, I was surprised to find that my the rims on my front left side and left rear side of the car were scratched. I had just hand washed my car, so I know that the rim damage was not present when I dropped the car off. I was told that Firestone would start the claim process, but that doesn't mitigate the damage done to my tire rims. Buyers Beware: Please take pictures of your tire rims prior to having any tire work done on your car. I hope that Firestone makes this right....... read more

Took my 2014 Honda in for an oil change. Was quoted a price of $40+ and when I said that was way more than Inpaid last time, the price was lowered to $24.59. After the work was completed, I was advised my car battery was bad and they had a special on batteries for a total of $161.47. I said that was way too much and declined their "special". I then drove down the street to Ted Wiens who checked my battery, confirmed it needed replacing and charged me a total of $105.19 with a 5 year warranty. I am now a Ted Wiens customer for ALL future automotive service. read more

I have mixed feelings about these guys. When I go in and tell them exactly what I want usually they do a pretty good job but I've had too many mishaps (i.e., faulty parts, not returning phone calls, excessive service times) to give them a better than average revue. You definitely have to watch out for them trying to upsale you on things you don't really need, doesn't happen all the time but it does happen. HORRIBLE. Boyfriend took his car here because his Nissan stopped all of a sudden on a Sunday. They said they would take a look at it each and every day we called for an update. So obviously they haven't taken a look at it. By Wednesday/today they said it was running better. So my boyfriend went to pick it up, he paid for their service and when he went to start his car.... I purchased a 2 year battery in Aug 2021. May of 2022, car would not start and headlights and all warning lights were flickering in the car. Emergency roadside assistance came to jump start the vehicle and noticed that both the positive and negative terminals were never secured and was able to pull the cables off the battery with his fingers. Proceeded to tightened the cable and jump started the vehicle. Drove the vehicle to Firestone and informed them of the faulty maintenance in installing the battery. Battery was checked and revealed that it needed to be charged and retested. Firestone managers Gino kept saying that the cable should have fallen off the battery if it was loose. He did not believe what I reported. I had to leave the car overnight so they could recharge the battery. Next morning, Tim (manager) discovered the battery was dead and proceeded to replace the battery. Tim said that the loose connection did not cause the battery to be defective. Not once did this Firestone establishment apologize for not properly installing the battery. I will never do business again at this facility and probably at any other Firestone establishments. I would have been OK if they would have admitted to faulty maintenance which caused the battery to not hold its charge. read more
