I made an appointment for 7 o'clock in the morning, so I would not have to wait. They told me to be there at 6:50. I showed up at 6:50. They would not open the doors till 7 o'clock then they had a vehicle on the alignment rack left from the day before so I had to wait until they did that alignment before they put my vehicle on the alignment rack was a little disappointed. I had to wait 45 minutes for them to get my vehicle worked on, but I have their lifetime front and alignment which cost me nothing this time people were friendly. they do quality work. read more

I never leave reviews. Absolutely awful store. Refused to do the work on my car which had previously been done at the same location. They do not keep detailed records. I had to return once they had began to work on my car and alerted them to the recall issue which was causing one spark plug to misfire due to oil leaking. They had previously just replaced that spark plug and I was told at the time I could continue to get it replaced. Instead the guy (Ryan) would not listen to me and kept speaking about the computer of my car. Again, would not listen to what I was saying or do work which had been done in the same location before. The diagnostic for zero results at the end of the day was extremely high ($131). Silly business model and poor customer service. Zero stars to this location. Also did but care to wipe down my car after mechanics were in it and left dirty smudges all along the plastic floorboard by the driver door. read more

Had my son meet me there.. no those tires are too new we haven't received them yet.. he found some others, Advanta HP Z - 01, 245/40ZR19, a little more expensive but I needed tires. No we don't have your size in stock. They'll call when they get in..2 days later I get the call. Go in..sit for over an hour and a half until they take the car in..I had a new rim in the backseat for the dented rim and I asked them to hook up the right front skirt..3 hours later, at closing time on a Friday, he brings the car out.. the tpms light is on.. you'll have to bring it back.. I drive home.. tires make a horrible whine. The skirt now rubs the the tire. Tpms still on. And the rim in the back seat wasn't changed.. I'm so upset I can't even type.. After the abysmal service my family and I had to endure at another Firestone location, I was extremely impressed by the people and service at this particular location. I had taken my car in for an AC repair (among other things) to the San Jose Firestone location, and had been told that the AC diagnostic workout indicated I needed a new compressor. Long story short, I was charged almost $1000 and had my car returned with a non-functional AC, a bad attitude and advice to take my car to a "certified AC specialist." They even gave me the name of a local shop (not a Firestone). The advice the other shop gave me was to take it to another Firestone--which brought me to this Arlington location. Alex the manager was extremely professional, and the AC guy Milan was amazing. My car was there less than 24 hours and they were able to fix what the other Firestone had not been able to fix in 1 week. Amazing, right? Now my car blows frosty cold AC, making it a comfy drive in the summer. This location has professional and knowledgeable people. Give them a try!! read more

It started off a little slow. Toyota told me my brake pads were down to 3mm each and need to be replaced. I came by Firestone with a 2 PM appointment to replace them, but my car did not get pulled into the garage until almost 3. I was a little frustrated but 20 minutes later the technician came out and told me the brakes were worse than I originally thought, and it would be over $700 to replace them. I told him I had not planned for that much of an expense, but I knew as much as I drive, it needed to be done. He managed to apply some coupons and work some other magic and got the price down to about $680, and I was able to move some money around to get the work done. I was up here in JAX for work and driving my POV (I wish it had been a rental - ugh) and blew my tire on the highway heading to the hotel on day 1 of my 5-day trip. I called the nearest Firestone (this one) to get a head start on my replacement tire since it's a limited size and style. Andy stayed with me, calling around and calling me back to let me know where we were at with the tire. Unfortunately, he was unable to find the exact tire within a 2-day delivery area but he had the GT version in stock and swapped it out at no charge under my road hazard coverage. He gave me directions, ensured he set the GT aside for me and took care of me right away when I came in. If I lived in the area, Andy would've sold me on being a loyal customer. Since I don't, this Yelp review will have to do instead. Thanks Andy! Ridiculous! I came in with a warrantee was told my tire was covered and would be fixed in an hour. I had an appointment I needed to be at in an hour and a half. Came back to get my vehicle and they said they were just about to call me. They hadn't even started and said it would be $200 for a new tire. I had to leave for my appointment which I was already late for with a leak in my tire. They handed me the keys and as I was about to leave my computer said I had 20 pounds of air. They then argued that it couldn't be that low, until they saw. So annoyed. I had to leave my vehicle and have my friend drive me to work for my appointment and still ended up late. I called up and asked how long it would take to get me in for a tire patch and oil change, the guy said come down and he could get me in as soon as I got there, I got here just for him to say it's going to take another hour till a mechanic is in, so I was lied too to begin with, then I wait the whole hour, just for him to say "yeah the mechanic is going to be another hour late " so now I have to sit here for 2 hours just waiting for someone to even look at my car then it's going to take another hour to do the maintenance , I don't recommend coming here if you're in a rush, they didn't even offer it to me for cheaper for the inconvenience , save your money and go else where these guys have no idea how valuable their customers time may be. read more

So at first I had an issue with this place. Dropped my car off to have a tire replaced that I had blown out. They were busy understandably and so I dropped it off and said I would be back either that evening before closing or first thing the next morning to pick it up. Showed up at 9 (they open at 7) to find my car still not fixed. I calmly walked inside and asked why my car was not done. The manager who was very apologetic told me wait 5 minutes and they would get it done. I waited and they changed my tire and added new windshield wipers which I also requested the day prior. And charged me $0 for the inconvenience. I would recommend them to anyone. Not because I got something free out of it. I've come to this place twice now and I've regretted it each time. The first time I came in was for an oil change and tires. Asked how long the wait would be and they stated an hour.... I ended waiting almost 4 hours with poor updates. I thought I would give them a chance again after 6 months, went in for an oil change, battery, and an alignment. Everything seemed great but then the next day I noticed excessive shaking on my steering wheel, which I didn't have prior to my arrive at Firestone. So I went back to have them correct the issue and they are not taking appointments and had to wait over an hour to have them correct their mistake! I've been a customer of Firestone in several different cities for many years. I will not be returning to this location. I had an appointment for 10:00 for an oil change and tire rotation. Dropped the car off, came back 3 hours later... My car was in the same parking spot I left it. I go to the desk and when I can finally flag someone's attention, I mention that I've been waiting for 3 hours. Coincidentally, I was told, "oh we have a 3 hour wait now." OK. I'm told I'm next up in line. After waiting an hour and no more information, I take my care to another vendor where I am promptly taken care of. Today I dropped off my vehicle for routine oil change, tire rotation and alignment. I already had a lifetime alignment and tire rotation service with Firestone from when I purchased my tires a couple years ago so their would be no charge for those services today. Unfortunately, their alignment rig was broken for part of the day and it took 7 hours for the services we requested to be conducted. The service manager, felt so bad about the wait that he waved the cost of the high mileage oil change ($50 value). As result, they didn't make any money (and actually lost money) while working on our vehicle in an effort to make things right when they didn't feel satisfied with the service they provided us. I was blown away. I've been a Firestone customer for years out of convenience and not necessarily their customer service. Today, they won me over with their exemplary customer service. read more

Just left Firestone monument. There were only 1 or 2 cars in the bays when I arrived. It took them 1 1/2 hours to do a simple oil change. When I asked what the hold up was his explanation was they only have real mechanics not oil techs making minimum wage it takes over an hour to do a proper oil change. I went today for a free brake inspection and was told I needed two front rotors and pads. When asked about the breakdown of price, I noticed that I was charged for the pads. Pads from Firestone are under warranty and should NOT cost you anything. The service advisor was not happy that I pointed this out to him because he had to credit the account. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!! My father in law had them fix my tie rod ends and they disconnected a sensor to make it seem like my throttle body was bad. They will flat out lie to you about work they have done. Had my wife's car towed there after the timing belt broke (again father in law insisted, due to having a Firestone card). When we drove away the power steering would not work with the AC on. We went about a block and brought it back to them. The Manager tried to say we broke it in the block we drove it. We left it another week. In that week they broke the car so bad that the dealership could not fix it. The Dealership was texting pictures to other mechanics to laugh about the work they did at Firestone. The car is now completely broken in the garage. This was 100% caused by the work done at Firestone! They are the type of mechanics that everyone warns you about! If you still go here, ask yourself if you ended up fixing something other than what you came in for. If you did, then they either caused it or up sold you unnecessary repairs. Don't let the Manager fool you into believing that he was sent to fix the problems with this shop. He was obviously sent here to get rid of him. He is very shady! read more

Where should I begin? Friendly staff up front, but watch out for what's lurking in the back!! I was dropping my daughter off for college, needed to get a quick oil/filter change. Left a substantial amount of tuition money in the vehicle ( yeah I already know). When I did notice it missing, it was way too late. Went back to the store and the manager of course said that the mechanic couldn't have done it. Asked if they had cameras and was told that they don't. Also, read the fine print they are not responsible for anything missing. Don't leave a single red cent in your vehicle, it just might be gone when you need it. When I called the district office to report the theft, Melissa, an assistant district manager advised me that I should file a police report, but wouldn't release the name of the worker and said that they didn't believe that it happened. I asked her to just do what's right and file a police report. Not her job, that's mine. How do you file a report if you don't have a name?? Long story short, my fault entirely. I get that, but just realize that there are no checks and balances set up if something comes up missing or damaged. Firestone will just deny, deny, deny and say that their employees wouldn't do that and you will be the one left scratching you head. Long, but I hope this helps.
