I had a scheduled appointment for a simple oil change. Not only did it take an hour but when the car was done and parked outside it took the staff another 30 minutes to call me up for payment, meanwhile there were at least four staff members standing around talking about what they wanted to eat for lunch. When I was called up to check out the customer service person took a phone call and gave an estimate while I waited again to pay. I wasn't happy with the service. read more

I have zero tolerance for false advertising and liars. If you need tires, go to the Discount Tire store that is a few blocks away. Much better prices and much better service. Firestone tire has a sign up that says "Nobody sells tires for less . . . GUARANTEED!". That sign is a brazen lie. I went in to Firestone with a quote for 4 new tires that I had just gotten from Discount Tire and they looked at it and didn't even try to come close. The guy just said, 'sorry I can't match that' and didn't even try . . . Really great customer service. Just stopped on my way doing other errands to see if I could get in for an oil change. Was quickly greeted an after gathering my info told I would be finished in 45 mins to an hour. The gal checking me in even looked for a coupon I would qualify for. Nice, clean waiting area. When my car was finished, I was told everything was ok. Check out was quick & painless. I was offered a Firestone credit card but no pressure when I said no. I'll come back. read more

Whenever I call they are available for me to come right away. Always get $10 discount for taking the customer satisfaction survey. I have been a Firestone customer from over 30 years, usually service and products are good. However two recent incidents and 2 different firestone stores trouble me. I have or provide auto care for 7 vehicles and when I purchase tires it has been firestone with the warranty for road hazard. What I have found by personal bad experience is if you need the repair you are not overly important or is their any rush to fix your problem. Coming home from a graduation we were 340 miles from home on a sunday, bam we get a flat, we go to a firestone store as we cannot drive 340 miles on the doughnut spare, told they are busy, I say, I have a warranty and am willing to pay extra to a mechanic that might do it on his break but we still have 340 miles to drive, was told all jobs taken in order. end result 3 plus hours waiting for a 15 minute repair, OK isolated incident? Nope, get a bold in my vehicle tire, go to firestone when they open, told busy, only 1 mechanic (note this is a high volume firestone) until after 9am, I say I can't wait 2 hours for him to show up and I am the only person in the store, told well the bolt looks solid drive to work and come back in the after noon. At the intersection of nowhere and noplace the bolt comes out and I change the tire on the side of the road, take tire in, they are busy, leave tire ask to be called on my cell when ready, no call, come back and ask is tire ready, yes but we are busy, I hear service guy talk to mechanic who tells him tell the guy I have other work, I come back then wait another 1 1/2 hours and was asked could I come back another day for the tire to be put back on the car, I said no thanks picked up tire, when home and put it on myself. I still think the warranty is a good deal but caution, its not a money maker and you will wait. only dissapointment with them read more

A very well run auto shop. My oil change was completed quickly and with great service. Although the price is a bit high, the service, quality of staff and timely fashion to get the service done is what makes this place great. The only thing that there lobby really needs is Wi-fi access while you wait. I would recommend they ditch there cable tv service, use the free digital tv service for local channels only and subscribe to high speed internet for the lobby! read more

I would give zero stars. Rude on phone. Rude when we walked in. CJ actually said, "I am not doing anything other than what you asked about on the phone", when we were asking about rotating tires when they replaced a tire. Everything was a bother to him. Same experience a year ago. They don't do work that you have asked them to do. They check it off as done but have clearly NOT done it. They don't honor warranties. Awful!!! read more

May have been a management change recently. They charged me for a tire rotation and oil change-I know for a fact that the tires weren't rotated, I had some lopsided PSI's when I took it in, and the sensors showed they were not moved. If your're going to hoodwink the customers at least make it look good!!! Now I have my doubts about the oil change...I will be avoiding this place in the future-and I strongly encourage others to do the same. read more

This place is terrible and uses the bait and switch to try and take advantage of people. The lies they told to get unnecessary work for their own profit were rather shocking. My boyfriend took his car (a 2002 Jetta with 58,000 miles) to this location last week with a coupon for a $99 brake pad replacement and rotor resurfacing. For background, I have always done most of my own basic car maintenance, but for 99 bucks + the time involved + purchase of parts made this a good deal. Here at Firestone, however, not so much. The ultimate quote was over $1000 for new rear brake pads, new rear brake calipers and, of course, a full set of new tires. Let's start with the tires...Two of his tires are almost new with around 10,000 miles on them. They are 60,000 mile tires so I'm not sure why the urgency (other than to put money in their pocket) expressed by this Firestone to have them replaced. Lie #1. The other two tires are older and more worn. However, the tires have wear indicators that are still present and, while they could be replaced, probably have another 10-20,000 miles left in them. Now the brakes. The rear brake pads were bad as I suspected, and are likely what caused the slight noise that prompted the visit. Brake pad replacement for $99 apparently wasn't good enough because after new tires they stated he had "metal on metal" and his calipers needed to be replaced because they were so screwed up. This is lie #2. First, anyone who's ever driven a car with metal on metal brake issues knows it unless they are totally deaf. The scraping noise is so obvious you'd have to be completely clueless not to know there was a serious issue. Second, while he supposedly had "metal on metal" they did not recommend that he replace his rotors? At a minimum resurfacing would be required, but in that serious a case it is more likely they would have been required to be replaced. It shocks me they didn't recommend them be replaced because 1) with metal on metal that's a given and 2) they would have made even more money! Lie #3 For the diagnosed bad calipers (at a cost of over $200/each) for his rear wheels, it should be noted that they did nothing more than removing the back tires. No leaking fluid, no bad brake lines nothing. Just eyeballing with the tire off! Now, while it is possible that my boyfriend may have needed new calipers, the odds were slim it was actually needed. My brother (who also does all his own car maintenance) has put over 250,000 miles on a truck on which he replaced brake pads and rotors on multiple occasions and has never replaced the calipers. I was naturally skeptical of this diagnosed problem. Once he got the quote for over $1000, my boyfriend called me and asked what to do. I told him to leave and that I would do the brake pad replacement job for him and that If the car actually needed calipers we'd see about taking it to another shop that I know is reputable. Here we are a week later and all in, he spent $30 for a Haynes manual (so I could know what to do on his specific car) $18 on rear brake pads and $7 on brake anti-squeal glue. His calipers, as expected, are totally fine. I would recommend going just about anywhere else to have work done on your car. These guys are willing to lie to inflate problems that don't exist and will perform work you don't need so they can make more money. They are the type that give auto repair guys a bad name. read more

I've returned to the store to have them check the grinding sounds after they replaced all the brakes last week. With 4 employees just standing around at the desk, I was told it would be a couple of hours before they could even take a look at them. This does not feel like good customer service, wanting to trouble shoot a problem that they had caused. Not to mention the inconvenience of bringing the car back. I expected a different response. At the very least they could have had someone explore the problem immediately, instead of putting me off. After all the 580 I paid for the complete job was already in their pocket. read more

I tried another garage closer to home and needed to come back to the team here to correct the bad work done elsewhere. I had never been to a Firestone before. I got a coupon for an oil change and so I made an appointment. I typically do it myself but I had to have this one done. I got there at 1:25 for a 1:30 appointment. The lady working at the front desk was great. She assured me the oil change would be done in an hour. I did not leave until 3:15. Almost 2 hours later. For an oil change! Pretty terrible. Jiffy lube down the street, despite being ~$5 more expensive, typically gets you in and out in 20 minutes. They gave me no indication if there was a delay. The only positive was that I got a really cheap oil change. I will give them another shot and update this review if I have a better experience, but it is really poor service to hold the customer hostage for 2 hours as they wait for there car. Especially when I create an appointment, I expect speedy service. read more

I brought my car in to get my new tires put on my rims. I got a call back saying, there was something wrong the front left tire. When I was picking up my car from ALANIA. I asked her what the problem was. She would only tell me, the front left tire. With a snobby attitude. They wouldnt tell me what the issue was because I was not getting it fixed with them today. read more

Blew my tire on the freeway, So I asked the technicians if they can help me but they refused too. So I had to ask there manager to personally let me put my spare tire on. Manager is great, the technicians need to do there job more then stand around and talk. read more

Did a good job on my oil change but I wasn't too happy with the employees trying to pull one over on me. After my oil change they tried to tell me my head gasket was blown and asked if I wanted to fix it as if I had that kind of cash on me, followed up on that with a head gasket specialist who told me nothing was wrong with it. Just randomly showed up on my lunch break for an oil change. They had no openings. I explained I had no time before my road trip and if they could recommend anyone esle. They ended up squeezing my car in and doing a full tire rotation, new wipers, oil change, and even hooked me up with coupons. Great customer service. So helpful. read more

I took my car in for an oil change and had them inspect it because I thought it might be leaking oil. They inspected it. That day my car started to overheat. Found the radiator cap missing and anti-freeze everywhere. My car overheated multiple times over the next few months. I took it back to them, and they fixed it for free. They really made an effort to make it right, so I give them 4 stars. I probably won't take my car back there, but I appreciate the effort to make it right. read more

These guys and gals are great! I came to them for a slow leak in my right rear tire, Makayla Stone was the tire and service advisor that helped me. I told her what was wrong and she said that even though they we busy she'd have me out of there in no time. After about 30 min she told me the problem and I decided not to have any further service done and to just put on the spare for now. She was so nice she didn't charge me at all for the time and service in diagnosing the issue with my tire. I just wanted to say thank you for everything and when I need a new set of tires I know where to go! You guys and gals are the best! read more

Avoid this Organization as choose to put a life at risk. My 20 YO daughter's 1st experience with an auto repair facility unfortunately it was Firestone and they sent her off in my opinion a car that was dangerous to operate after failing to complete the wheel alignment. Fortunately the experience didn't result in an injury nor take her life. I'm mechanically inclined, and recommended an alignment for her car. She took the initiative to patronize Firestone while I was traveling on business, but said they were unable to complete the alignment because it required additional parts. They did charge her then send her away with an incomplete alignment (Conner). I didn't know how bad it was until I returned and drove the car. It was so bad thal the car was unsafe to drive (it would nearly jump out of it's lane on uneven road surfaces). I called the service manager, who said the job was mostly done but needed parts. A Camber bolt had to be ordered and it would require another alignment and we'd be responsible for an additional $150 parts and labor to complete. I informed Firestone's manager that I would take it to another facility to complete the alignment. The second facility's charges were less than the Firestone's demand for another $150, and it required No Parts to complete correctly. I informed Firestone's manager who agreed to refund payment for the shoddy work. I understand, greed my motivate some who look to to rip-off unsuspecting (unknowing) individuals. What troubles me their choice to send her off in a dangerous to operate vehicle. Her arms and back hurt after driving to see her friend in Sequim as it was straining to keep the car on the road. I thought that firestone is a great company ,ties and services was excellent service until few years I am just getting disappointment and nothing else, I tried to book my service appointment on 11/14 at 11am and when I showed up at the Leominster firestone shop they were having huge sale so they were not honoring any appointments, and further to that, employee blame the company for horrible system of online appointment and mentioned that people do the appointment but never get confirmation email, which I agreed and walked away and had my service somewhere else. Again on 01/25 @ 1700hrs requested for service but did not got any confirmation so did not bother to stop at the shop to get humiliated again. So took my business some where else again Is Firestone corporate is aware of they faulty and misleading appointment systems? Or some one even care for their regular customer other than Mike (store manager) and Tim (position unknown). read more

I appreciate this Firestone taking the time to explain and show me the problems instead of talking to me like a 3 year old and scaring the crap out of me saying my car is going to break down and my tires are going the blow out the minute i leave the lot. Being a woman, I am always a little suspicious of auto shops. My experience today was as good as it gets. I brought my car in, unannounced and Chris was welcoming, even though I could tell that it was a really busy day. My battery light and brake lights were flickering and I needed an oil change. I left my car there and Chris called me to say that they found a nail in one of my tires. He had it fixed and he ran a diagnosis and changed the oil and my car was ready in a matter of a couple of hours. The charge was extremely reasonable and my car is in great running order again. And they found a nail in my tire and I never even knew it. Chris was courteous, very professional and knowledgeable. I have found my mechanic for life. And that's a comforting feeling. As far as Firestones go, this one is the best. We had a punctured tire and had to get it fixed asap, so my wife and one year old had to hang out there for two hours. Didn't mind waiting as they were super busy and we didn't have an appointment. Bearded guy behind the counter kept his cool and was super nice even while dealing with a bunch of high maintenance customers. In the end the tire was under roadside warranty, they couldn't repair and had to replace, but because we weren't jerks and we were patient the guy didn't charge us anything (including labor). They've got my return business. read more

I want to start off by saying that I'm very impressed by this location's manager. We had an "iffy" experience getting our car fixed to pass emissions, and he went out of his way to make it right. In an age where customer service means everything, the Kirkland Firestone has a great man working for them. We initially walked away not wanting to go back, but we've been completely turned around. Was told car needed a ball joint tie rod engine head gasket 1000+ they insisted so much on doing the jobs I agreed .two day later 20 miles driven loud noise took 4 days to get checked they said was another 500 dollar. Wow. They failed to perform an oil change correctly. The part of the skid plate they removed to access the oil drain plug and filter car nearly fell off on the interstate during rush hour, about a week after their work. There was one bolt out of eight or ten remaining when I was finally safe to pull over. When I called, the associate refused to refer me to a manager and did not offer to fix anything. I was then promised a call from the regional manager, who had apparently been trying the wrong number. Still not sure how they will try to retain patronage here... Yes I have talked to corporate and no I have not been refunded nor the part repaired or replaced. I have yet to actually speak to anyone who has been okay with the idea of them trying to fix their error. read more
