Popped in on a busy lunchtime and was seen quickly. Had a TPMS warning pop up intermittently for a while and the BMW forum suggested I visit a Firestone dealer. The service adviser (Todd) was very friendly and quickly diagnosed the failure and printed off a competitive estimate for the repair. Did not charge me for the diagnostics- would recommend this place to anyone. The only thing I suggest is to time your visit well as parking can be a little tricky. read more

I usually recommend Firestone to all my friends and family; however, I probably won't anymore or at least for this location. On one Saturday morning, I looked online and saw there were available appointments at the Firestone on Rockfield. I live nearby so I thought I thought it would be easier to drop my car off at 9:30am and just pick it up later on in the day. After giving my keys to the employee, Carlos, he told me that an invoice would be sent to my email. Usually when I drop off my car, they track down the miles for me and have me sign the work order right then and there. This time was different, but I didn't think anything of it because I usually trust Firestone with my car. Even though I dropped my car off at 9:30, I got an invoice at 11:17am that my work order was finally made. Weird, right? I understand work can get busy but two hours seems excessive. Firestone closes at 6pm on Saturdays, so I was curious why I haven't received a phone call yet. I call the store at 5:30pm asking for the status of my car. Another employee picked up and said he doesn't know the status of my car but that Carlos would call me back within the next few minutes. He also mentioned that they would be closing very soon. As I waited for my call back, it never came. Not only did I have to beg my neighbor to give me a lift, but when I went to Firestone they never touched my car at all within the 8 hours at their facility. I understand it gets busy but they could have at least let me know they weren't able to service my car that day. The responsible thing would be to reach out to your customers instead of avoiding their phone calls. After getting my keys back from Carlos, I went back to my car and realized the CAR HAS BEEN LEFT UNLOCKED ALL DAY. Not only is Carlos irresponsible, but he is also negligent. All the negative reviews left about Carlos are true, and it is my fault that I didn't notice the red flags that are clearly visible. Firestone as a company is great, but there's something about the lack of common sense of some workers that deters me from ever coming to this location again. There's another Firestone a few blocks away. Although I haven't tried them yet, I can bet they'll treat you a lot better. read more

Ben and Eddy the auto technician was very honest with me like I was family and same with the other staff. If you come in knowing exactly what you need and be genuinely nice you shouldn't have problem at all. I mean you should always be nice to those who are working on your car just like your waiter/ waitress. There is a lot of crooked auto shops in the world but these guys aren't one of them. Check it out for yourselves and know they have good warranties and shops all over the nation so if something happens you are in good hands. not with Allstate :P but Firestone. I've been going here for sometime and never had a bad experience. They treat you really well and always go out of there way. Tom (A regular) employee is always making sure everything goes well. Miles helped me out this last time and I had several annoying or for some you would say common situations. He went out of his way to make sure everything was handled like I wanted. Ok so I went with my friend to get his engine code scanned which should've been a 5 min procedure. But they took over 45 min where they weren't even done, and we had to tell them to just give us the engine codes so we could leave. I hate this place. Also, I would give this place a 1 star, but it gets an extra one because of Eduardo, who is definitely the nicest mechanic there and is way too good for that place. Hi, I went there on 1/9/10 for Oil change. With all the other coupons so confusing abt extra charges. I decided to go to FireStone. They ahaged 26.50 with Tax. Provided a complementary vehicle check. they have provided estimates. I checked the part prices on AutoZone. With the same part number, they are adding $10 over the autozone prices. I am fine with Oil Change there and deciding to take my Nissan Sentra to Corner 3, Lake Forest. Overall Statisfied with the Oil Change. read more

I've given this place too many chances...I always take my car here because I have the lifetime alignment. Each time I take my car here, I make an appointment for 7am to be sure I'm the first car they work on. Sure enough as I'm waiting for my car, people start to drop off their cars and I noticed their cars go up on the lifts before mine! For something that takes about 30-45min, they manage to keep me here for 5hrs!!!! Eff this place and their BS. No more will I be going here. There are 3 other Firestones in the area I can try out. DO NOT GO HERE! The worst service, drove car in had to wait two days to drive it out. They tried giving it to me with the engine hopping. Now my check engine light is on, I am missing pins to hold my hoses and intake together and when I escalated to Corp. it took 5 days and another email for DM to call and never resolved issues or followed up. Customer service was good. Representative said hour to an hour and a half wait for a appointment. It's getting close to 2 hours and I haven't seen them touch my car for a oil change. Only go here for your basic needs! I went in yesterday for a standard oil change, and left 3 hours late with new tires as well. Not a HUGE problem since I didn't want a tire blowout problem down the road. But during the entire process they kept coming out, "You need new brakes, they have hardly any life left in them!. This seized while we were changing the tires so you need it replaced now. We weren't able to align your tires because of it." Great! I didn't have the time, patience, or money to get all the extra things they recommended getting fixed, which they quoted would be about $600. We called another local mechanic that we have used and took it in this morning. What do you know! The brakes are PERFECTLY fine. The part that seized up was fine, and they should have been able to align the tires just fine. This new mechanic honestly didn't even know what Firestone was talking about. Firestone was also supposed to check all the fluids. And the new mechanic discovered that the engine fluid was completely gone, and could result in a exploded dead engine. Thanks Firestone! I had Google'd and read some reviews about how this place was better than the other Firestone near it, so I decided to try this place. I called and scheduled an appointment to replace a tire. I was told that the coupon I had, as long as it was for Firestone (which was), would be honored. Everything seemed set without problems. After I had arrived, they suggested to have the other front tire replaced as well, due to how it was worn out from the inside (instead of just a rotation). I agreed, then browsed around the nearby malls while waiting. An hour later, they let me know that their balance machine wasn't working properly and it would take a bit longer. So, I went around and browsed some more. In the end, I spent over 3 hours just for a tire change (which turned into 2 tires) and balance; instead of suggesting to drive to the other Firestone nearby to get it done quicker, they had me wait that long. It doesn't seem like a bad place, but, after this experience, I think I'll try another location. read more

Just an awful experience here. Had a bad air conditioning unit that was low on coolant. First they tell me it just needs to be re-charged and it would be about a 20 minute wait, fine. 3 and a half hours later I finally get out of there. They then let me know that they were able to re-charge the system, but there was a small leak in one of my hoses, but they did't have the part. In order to get it fixed, they'd have to drain and re-charge the system again and that it would keep leaking. All this ran about $275. I have never had a good experience at a Firestone and this was no excpetion. Total rip off operation. Stick with buying tires you should be fine. Auto fixes, go to the dealer. read more

I got a flat tire when I was off-roading and it was in a weird spot where I wasn't comfortable plugging it myself, so I decided to take it to Firestone to get it fixed. I have taken flats to other places (ex: Goodyear) before and had them fixed at no charge because they want me to come back when I need new tires. I have even gotten a flat fixed for free when I was on a road trip and there was no possibility I would be coming back to their location for tires and told them as much. They still wouldn't take my money! I had bought my last set of tires from this Firestone less than a year before, so I was a little surprised when they told me it would be $20 to fix it but I was already there and, hey, you can't always get it for free, so I went ahead with it. Two hours later they call me and tell me it is ready. I go to pick it up and the girl at the counter comes back in and tells me that she rolled it out next to my car. Even though I had paid to have it repaired they weren't going to put it back on for me. I thought that was standard. They could have at least put it back on the spare rack. So I pull out my jack and start putting the tire back on right in front of their service stations. The technicians just keep working, switching out cars on both sides of me, and all the while passing their signs that say how they are all about "quality" and "customer loyalty." Now, if I pulled up and saw a 23 year old girl changing the tire on her Wrangler right in front of the tire place I was going to, I would definitely find somewhere else to go. I told my family what happened and they were pretty shocked and all agreed that next time they needed tires they would avoid this place. That's 9 cars and, since we are an off-roading family, 5 of them are 4x4s which, if not raised with specialty tires, at least have upgraded all-terrain tires. read more

Took the car on for brake replacement and after 2 returns the problem was still there. Before we could get back to the shop for a third fix the brakes failed causing an accident. thankfully no one eas hurt. Of course the inspector for firestone found no fault on their part but word got back to us that the parts were old. Im still paying for it!!! If you go there watch everything they do. read more

If you want to get ripped off, this is the place for you!! I took my wife's car in to get tires replaced and after we drove pretty far about 40 miles and by the time we got home, I noticed the tires were making a strange loud sound and it was getting worse and worse, but we were close to home, so we made it. As I was parking into the garage, my wife was in front guiding me close to our other car parked in the garage. I turned the wheel and she literally watched a lug nut fall off of the bolt for the rim. It fell on the ground in the garage!! I get out of the car and all of the lug nuts were hand tightened and I was able to remove all of them if I wanted. I was furious and called Firestone. They said next time I will get a free oil change. After a few months, I needed to get an oil change, so I took it there and they honored a free oil change. Now my car is leaking oil which it never has in the past and is a 2016 newer car. I'm not sure where the leak is coming from, but I will check myself when I get home. I hope they didn't sabotage other parts of my vehicle. I'm also missing the caps that go over the lug nuts as well. This place should be closed down!! read more

If you are looking for an alignment, I highly recommend that you look elsewhere! I recently bought a set of $1,500 tires for my Silverado and immediately after having them mounted and balanced I took them to my truck to this Firestone to purchase a lifetime alignment as I wanted to maximize the life of my new tires. After explaining this to them, they assured me that they would dial me in. Immediately upon receiving my truck back I noticed that it now pulled to the left, the steering wheel was offset and my truck vibrated at high speeds. Thinking something may have been loose and/or wrong with my rims and suspension I immediately checked all of it, everything looked good and tight. I took it back to Firestone and explained to them that I believe that my alignment is still off and that I would like for them to correct it. Instead of treating well and apologizing for the inconveniences, they took my truck at 10am and did not get it back to me until 9pm that Thursday evening. Not to mention the stores hours are from 7am-7pm...Moreover, when I got my truck back I watch the tech drive it off the ramp and park it right in front of the shop. The sales rep then tried to tell me that they took it for a post test drive and that it drives perfect now...Immediately upon driving off from their parking lot I noticed that my truck had not been fixed and/or aligned and that it was still pulling to the left, the steering wheel was still offset and my truck still vibrated at high speeds. This particular Firestone either does not know how to do an alignment and/or they just are down right pretended to align my truck. After giving them a second chance to correct their error(s) I took it to the Firestone in Laguna Hills located in the Mall parking lot. I dropped off my car on a Sunday afternoon and had it back later that Sunday afternoon, fully aligned and driving like it was supposed to. I highly recommend that anyone looking for alignment skip this El Toro store and go into the Laguna Hills store. Terrible service, terrible work and no longer a shop that I will use and/or recommend. read more

if you bring you car in there for alignement or oilchange you will surely be charge for the service, but you can't be sure that the service was performed. You have to actually stay there and WATCH THEM DO IT, otherwise it is hit and miss. read more

Had an appointment and showed up on-time yet it took two hours to put on my four tires. I purchased the tires online and they were there and ready to go. They pulled my small truck in right away and it just sat there for at least 45 minutes before they did anything with it. After I asked about the status of my install they finally lifted my truck to begin. Another 45 minutes later and they only had two wheels done. I complained about how slow it was going and that seemed to only make the installer work slower. Near the end of my two hour wait, a lady came in to ask about getting tires for her vehicle. The manager quoted the tires and install and told her that it can all be done in under one hour. I said, "Well, I have been here two hours now and my install is still not done." After she left the manager was mad at me for sharing my experience with her. If you are looking for an honest team / location for auto repair in the south Orange County area, you may rely on Tom Glossop (the manager) and his Firestone team (Chris, etc.) at 24421 Rockfield Blvd, Lake Forrest, CA 92630 (off of the 5 freeway at El Toro offramp). Brought my daughter's VW Jetta in today for a repair after an immensely disappointing experience at the Firestone location on Santa Monica Blvd in West LA (10785 Santa Monica Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90025), near where she was attending college. The Santa Monica Blvd Firestone was, in my view, incompetent and corrupt, exhibited poor management, and took advantage of my daughter's naiveté concerning her car. We were charged $800 for a service repair on April 8 that required a second visit on April 20. They couldn't figure out what they had done wrong and, to make matters worse, broke a window switch and appear to have surreptitiously logged a number of miles on my daughter's car without our authorization (they had the car over the weekend). Fortunately, my brother and I have been using Tom Glossop's Firestone El Toro location for over 15 years. Story short, Mr. Glossop took great care to correct the errors of the Santa Monica Firestone, while emphasizing Firestone's commitment to quality and customer loyalty. They replaced the Jetta's mass air flow sensor and have committed to repairing the automatic window switch that the Santa Monica store broke. Mr. Tom Glossop is simply one of the finest managers in car repair in my over 35 years of driving and having cars repaired. The Firestone Corporation should be proud of Tom and his team. read more

This review is for the Firestone location in Lake Forest on 24421 Rockfield Blvd. Couldn't be better! I've brought our company vehicle here, 2013 Ford Edge for service 5 different times now and I really like this place. The difference now is that the longtime manager has moved locations and they haven't missed a beat! I made an appointment for 2 tires to be replaced and a steering noise checked out. The Manager Todd was great in getting my car checked in and explaining to me the progress of my appointment. The clerk in the store Jonathan was very nice and patient. Any apprehension with the old manager moving is gone. I never had any doubts but today's appointment proved to me that Firestone knows what they're doing and have the right employees in place. I might add the manager in this location has a bit of a challenge being that the previous manager was so solid, but I was really impressed. Make an appointment if possible or get a time frame, it helps everyone involved. I'll be back. read more

One of my absolutely WORST Firestone experiences I've ever had. I know that this establishment is not known for top notch quality and performance, but for what had happened this evening was absolutely the worst. I came in at about 4:30pm for what was supposed to be an alignment and tire rotation. The gentleman quoted me 1 hour to be in and out which was more than needed to do the job but because they were busy, it was understandable. So I said okay and just reconfirmed with them one more time to make sure and then proceeded. 3 hours later, I was still at the shop and had my car sitting in the bay without only the tire rotation done and there apparently there was a hold up for the alignment rack because one of the trucks could only be worked on there due to it's vehicle weight. I wish they had told me earlier because I would have just went across the street to the other location. I did appreciate that the worker gave me a free oil change but even then, I said I only use Mobil 1 Full Synthetic and wanted to make sure they had it in stock. The worker said "yeah that's fine," so I proceeded. I took a phone call outside and noticed they were about to throw in Kendall Full Synthetic which was NOT what I asked for and I notified the attendant. The worker responded, "Oh I thought you were just telling me a story about your oil change, I'm sorry. I'll order you Mobil 1 Synthetic but it will be another 45 minutes for it to arrive." I was just astonished at how much confusion and lack of communication they have at this location. Firestone at Lake Forest... Never again. read more

Usually get my car aligned here and most of the time it's not too bad sometimes I have to come back and they take care of it no problem. I try to come when Ryan is working every time it's done right and drives perfect. My car is modified so sometimes it takes a little extra time and can be in inconvenience to most shops but Ryan is always willing to do what it takes. I arrived 2/20/17 at 9am to drop my Jeep off for a simple alignment with my "lifetime alignment" contract. I was advised that they were busy but said I could leave my jeep all day. Have done this for years with Firestone on multiple vehicles over the last 15+ years. Usually including additional services like fluid changes, but in this instance was only in for alignment. At 3:30pm I had heard nothing and called the shop. Was advised that they still had not yet completed but would by 6pm. Then arrived at 5:15pm to see that my Jeep had still not been moved from the spot I parked in at 9am. As well, three lifts in the shop were un-occupied with technicians standing around. Can't pretend to know what the techs were doing at the time, but can conclude that empty lifts means no work is getting done. Feel the staff has intentionally delayed my service to allow them to book other jobs they could up-sell and profit from, avoiding the service that would bring in zero dollars. Both clerks working the office had zero explanation other than "we are busy." On 2/21 I contacted Firestone online customer service. Received an automated response but has been a week and received zero support from Corporate. I have since contacted Corp. again to request return of funds provided for the "lifetime alignment" on both my Jeep and Ford since they choose not to honor the contract. read more

What a waste of time. I made an appointment for 4:00pm. I arrived at 3:55. They said it should take 1-1.5 hours. I walked around and returned at 4:58. There were 3 cars in the shop. At 5:00 they pulled my truck in to check the alignment. Why did the guy set me up for an appointment at 4 if I wasn't going to be in till 5. Way to many tire shops to waste time here. Actually there is another Firestone less than a mile from here. Should have gone there. read more

Never going to firestone again! Took the car in because the check engine light went on. We ended up needing to change our throttle body, they charged us $587.99 for the part (not labor cost) which i thought was a little much. So i called the dealer and asked them how much the part was and they said $469, i asked if firestone bought this part from them today and they said yes for a lower cost. we took it in because the check engine light came on. They charged us $100 to check what was wrong with it, which only requires them to plug a computer in to the car(which you could buy on amazon for $30) it gives them a code which they look up and tells them whats wrong with it. probably takes them abut 10 min. at most. Absurd price! Then they charged $100 for a fuel system cleaner( a special one which you can only get at fire stone, EK-10T) which any one could have done for $20 over all pretty upset with how much they charged, but i guess they playing on our ignorance read more
