Picked up a nail again on my tire. Luckily I found a Firestone repair station near by. I enjoy the fact I buy my tires from them and have road hazard warranty. Unfortunately my Toyota Sienna Hybrid does not carry a spare tire so I'm forced to go either by driving or towed to a near by store. This time I got lucky and found one within a mile of my needs. Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT bring your car here. Starting in February I brought my car in as we suspected a leak of the rear main seal. They did a total inspection and confirmed the leak. I set up an appointment to have it repaired, only to arrive the day scheduled and was told it couldn't be done because the one mechanic who handles the more difficult repairs was on vacation. So we rescheduled for when he was back. They had my car for three days, called to say it was ready and I picked it up. Driving away I noticed my car wasn't driving too great and when attempting a U-Turn on the road right in front of their shop, it felt like the car wouldn't switch gears and as if I were about to stall-out. Thought maybe it was just me, so I drove it down a little more and it was very clear the gears were having an issue. I parked, ran into the store came out and started the car and the check-engine light was on. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I immediately called the shop and let them know as I was only right down the street, and they asked me to return my car.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was after the tech confirmed with the advisors and managers he test drove my car and everything was fine. The next day they called to say the dual-clutch had to be "re-learned" and they had to do some codes for the sensors, which should have been done prior to picking up my car. Got the car back the next day and things seemed fine. A day after I noticed my car was still leaking oil so I figured it may have been some left-over oil and just needs a run thru a car wash. Then the leak started pooling. I called them to notify them and we scheduled yet another day to bring it in to have it looked at again. Took about half a day for them to let me know that there was a faulty part in the repair and they would need to replace the faulty part but it's a specialty part so I would need to wait another week for it. Which we did. Now mind you, in order to repair the rear main seal you need to take the transmission out. Remember this. Upon this final time bringing my car in to replace the so-called "faulty part" (at this point I'm guessing they just forgot that part altogether in the first place) they took a few hours to call and let me know that the faulty part is fixed (YAY?!) BUT my transmission is having a very notable leak. And of course, they don't fix transmissions. I would have to transport my transmission to another shop or they can put my transmission back in, and I can just find another shop when I have time. Then without even asking, the manager offered a full refund. Hmm, why are you offering a refund for a repair that was repaired and completed if you are not at fault for causing a leak in my transmission, probably from mishandling my transmission?! My car has had 2 or 3 different inspections at this point, nowhere noting any sort of leak from the transmission. The transmission had already been taken out and put back in for the original repair. It has now been taken out a second time. Of course, I said there's no way this just magically happened and filed a claim. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their Claims department are only open M-F (and of course this was about 3pm on a Friday) so I couldn't reach anyone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And when you file a claim, the car has to stay there until Claims decides if they're liable or not. And you can't reach any claims advisor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their phones go straight to voicemail, their service reps are half asleep working from home and don't even notate your concerns properly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Finally got their Claims Specialist on the line and she sent - what they say - is an independent inspector.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The inspector said because the mechanic said he didn't notice the leak until the rear main seal was repaired (because that leak was massive) and the age of the car, this was a long term leak. Umm, HELLO?! If this leak was present and long term, wouldn't you have noticed that the first time you took out and put back in my transmission? Of course you would. Their initial full inspection didn't even notice any low transmission fluid or leakage either. [[HIGHLIGHT]]So claims denied it, and I had to escalate it to their manager. He immediately denied it, after avoiding all three of my phone calls and emails.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had to then escalate this to corporate who, surprise surprise, never responded or reached out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have repeatedly asked for the FULL inspection report, as they only sent me a tiny paragraph from the report that they copied and pasted in an email to me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They refuse to name the inspector or be cooperative in any way. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Upon returning to this Firestone location to obtain my car, the advisor or tech on the floor just kept saying they're giving me the refund for the "inconvenience" and he knows nothing, doesn't know the inspector and can't explain why if this was a long term leak it wasn't noticed the first time my transmission was taken out when the rear main seal leak was repaired.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So yes I got that money back, but now I get to spend WAY more to repair a transmission leak because they won't admit they messed up! read more

Got an alignment done two years on my Chrysler 300 ago the tech that did it messed up my rack and pinion and said I hit something when my steering wheel wasn't aligned I would have been better off not bringing it here. Horrible experience and they didn't even get to the root of the problem. They had my truck for a week both times to not even address what the problem was. My truck overheated again on two different occasions after picking it up. It sucks I had to pay for a rental car for over two weeks, and for the work done on the vehicle to still be having the same problem. came in for a balance and alignment, they tried to upsell me 4 new tires (i still have some life left). and they lost one of my wheel locks and didn't tell me. i came back today to see if they would replace them, and they refused. i would definitely go somewhere else!! these techs are fresh out of high school. they also left the rim covered in tire bead sealant. Don't buy the lifetime alignment: you'll be using it more than you ever planned to. I purchased it after getting a new set of tires, and with a week had to go back for another. After the second trip in, my steering alignment sensor started throwing codes. Three trips and still having issues. They booked an appointment for transmission service. Four days out waited for the appointment only to arrive and be told they don't do transmission on a vehicle over 90,000 miles. Would've been nice to know before I took a day off to bring my car in at 11 AM. I also had a dash light and the print out showing a sensor needed to be changed. They charge $110 to plug in their code reader and tell you the same thing. They do not credit that hundred dollars towards the repair or anything else. this is a hack shop. On 09/23/2024, I brought my Pontiac Solstice in to have an overheating problem fixed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I arrived at my 7:30 A.M. appointment, and handed the front desk my keys. The attendant told me, "[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]We will be done with your car in 2 hours the most.". At 9:00 A.M. I asked why my car was still in the parking lot, when there were 3 open bays. The person at the desk told me that the mechanic will get to it soon. At 10:00 I asked when my car would be finished, and was informed that it would be finished around 4:00 P.M.. That is 8 1/2 hrs, to do a 45 minute job. I called for an Uber and $30.00 later I was home. . . . only to get a phone call from Firestone, telling me the Mechanic didn't want to work on my car, because he wasn't sure how to diagnose the problem. So after riding another $30.00 Uber back to Firestone, I was told it would cost $1,500 to replace the Thermostat, Intake Manifold Gasket and labor. My Solstice had never been diagnosed. I then had the Mechanics at TED WIENS on Blue Diamond run tests, and found out the cooling fan was bad and not turning on. They only charged $54.00 to test it. Turned out to be a $86.00 fan and $200.00 labor, to solve the problem. Thanks to TED WIENS, I saved $1,200. Firestone employees should feel ashamed of how they never even worked on my car, yet wanted a huge repair bill. I hope a REGIONAL MANAGER does the right thing and fires those employees ! read more

He addressed the issues with my vehicle right away and gave me honest answers without trying to upsell me. Waste of time, don't bother coming here with your car. My car was here for four hours for a tire plug and it was nearly closing time when I called them because I needed to pick it up today. They said my car was nearing completion and to come in if I can make it before they closed. If I did not call them first they would have held my car overnight.. I went there immediately to pick up my car before they closed and they haven't even begun to look at my car. They said to just hold on for a minute while they were finishing it up. Lies. 15 minutes later, after they are already closed, they come inside to tell me that it's irreparable and immediately tried to sell me a mismatched tire. If the tire is irreparable why did you have me wait 4 hours while telling me that the patch it is basically complete? Why do they possibly think I want a buy their brand's mismatched tire? If they knew a single thing about cars it would be that you shouldn't have mismatched tires, especially on a rear tire on a RWD car. All this location cares about is upselling and are they willing to lie to their customers to do it. They will not value your time. Quick review. Walked in on a Sunday at 433pm. They close at 5pm. I had a nail in one of my tires. Front desk attendant asked if I can leave overnight. I said no, so bottom line, they had already accepted the last customer before close before 433 and wouldn't fix a flat tire before closing at 5. Ok. So I'm giving this visit a 1 star simply because the store manager was friendly and took action to make sure the issue was corrected. Took vehicle in on an early business hours. Basic oil service. Once completed took it home. Didn't drive/crank the engine again until two days later. Just to realize there was an oil leak coming off the oil filter with my top skid plate capturing the drips. Took the vehicle back. Spoke to store manager for assistance to resolve the issue. Now the bad - what I disliked other than the fact that I had to go back was that it bothered me that the manager chose to deny and accept the fact that his technician made the mistake and assumed I didn't know any better and told me they didn't see anything. After I had showed him clearly what I saw. My job requires me to work on engine myself, well aware what doesn't look right. Not to forget he was quick to refunding me the money for the service. I thought I was being really fair with the last review, especially considering the misinformation that caused my credit to get dinged. I let it go though. Well, now it's something else I was misinformed about. When I was approved for the card I was told to physically drop my monthly payments by at the store instead of paying online, because there would be a $7 service charge to pay online. Well, just to see what he was talking about, I paid my first payment online and guess what? No service charge at all. There is nothing I hate more than being lied to by a business. Repeatedly. Dropping it to a 2 after strongly considering taking it to a 1 and enshrinement in the Hall of Shame. Why lie about the service charge? Do they get a spiff or something if a payment is made at the location? I honestly don't know the answer to that one. Always a pleasure to come to this location and to be met great customer service, these guys go above and beyond in making sure I get my car fixed, I had a nail caught in the tire and they repair it, they also replaced 2 other tires that I didn't know was on the verge on shredding from the inside. Last time I came I didn't have an appointment and they were backed up but they squeezed me in to change my oil and I was out of there in less than hour. Even when they are tiresome and overwhelmed they never show it. Love these guys and I have bad karma with auto mechanics, not with this location! Honesty - Professionalism - Genuine customer service oriented these are just a few great qualities that I experienced today. After speaking with Matt over the phone and knowing I needed to get a tire valve stem changed, I came in (darn it I forgot to get his name) but he is the reason I will be a long time customer. He has blondish shoulder length hair....please let me know his name. He took a look at the tire valve and immediately fixed it on the spot. He then looked at all the other tires and did the same and filled it with the proper air and off I went within 10 minutes no charge. Came here because my bfs tire was getting flat. We think we hit a nail or something because the tire light was on. We go here and then they said they fixed it and we went home. An hour later we go out to the car and the tire is FLAT! So we have to put the spare tire on and go back tomorrow to get it fixed. Do I want to go back to firestone? No. They are sketchy. They either suck and completely don't know how to patch up tires, or they are scamming people. I bet if we go back tomorrow they say we need a new tire and to buy it there. Please save your car and your money and go somewhere else. Update : Went back the next day. They apologized and fixed the tire. Went home. Watched a movie. Go out to the car...
