These guys are awesome. I have been a customer now for a few years and they have bailed me out of trouble so many times. Good prices, honest and professional. Im not sure why they have some crappie reviews. I guess some people just cant be pleased and maybe dont understand that s**t happens. If the price changes because of something unexpected so be it. Firestone has always done their best with me. And yes no one is perfect but the thing is they care and they run a solid ship. Even gave me a ride home while my truck was being worked. Tim from Firestone is awesome. My car totally took a dump and he let me leave it there until cash for clunkers picked it up a few days later. I buy the lifetime alignment for all my vehicles and take them here every 5000 miles for their oil change and alignment, they do a good little inspection and let me know if anything is wrong or what is recommended. I have a Saturn that is more than a decade old. Because of its age and my (relative) inexperience with cars, I have had a number of problems crop up recently. Several times I have had to rely on the people who work at this Firestone and every time I have been met with the most honest, intelligent and forthright employees it has ever been my pleasure to work with. Summarily, I know enough about cars to know when I need help and the people that work both front and back explain what needs done so I'm always satisfied with their conclusions as my own. Good customer service, very friendly. But they didn't bother to properly stow my spare tire in my Ford Explorer. I'm sure I could have asked them to do it but I didn't feel like waiting for them. Went in to get a screw pulled from my tire and have the tire repaired. Arrived at 6:45 for its opening at 7 Monday morning. Promptly opened right on time, invited me in, set up my work order, and had the tire off in less than 10 minutes. The the tech asked me if I'd been losing pressure. No, but my TPMS showed the tire with the screw to be a bit down and I saw the screw shaft between the threads. He then opened his hand, showed me a piece of a screw, and told me the screw was between the threads, not into the tire. He put the tire back on and adjusted the pressure. No charge. In and out in less than 30 minutes. Fast and honest - friendly too. I appreciate that. I'll be back! read more

DON'T GO HERE!!!! I went in because my car was making a funny noise and asked them if they could just drive it around and figure out what the noise was. I was told they could do it the next day NO CHARGE and I made an appointment for 5:00. Then when I took my car in the next day and was told that it was gonna be $46.50 for them to check it out and that they weren't allowed to drive my car around. I sucked it up and paid the $46.50 when they came back with the diagnostic report I was told that I needed new CV axles and new wheel bearings and that it was gonna be $1,100 to fix. Being a woman in a auto shop I took it to a trusted mechanic for a second opinion and was informed that my CV axles and wheel bearings were brand new and did not need replacing. I was completely lied to by Firestone and was charged $46.50 for false information. I will never be going here again! I personally felt like I was lied to and being taken advantage. read more

My girlfriend brought her mustang in here a couple weeks ago. They took advantage of her not knowing about her vehicle, they told her she needs new tires because there was 'wear' on the inside of her tires, the reason she brought it in was when she hits 55 mph her vehicle shakes. I have verified there is no wear and tear on said tires, and will be taking her car to les schwabb myself, from now on. read more

WOW... can I just say how HORRIBLE this place is on customer service. I called to get a price on a tire this past Friday. Not only was the person who I was speaking with short, he told me he could not price it out for me. It was 1pm on Friday. He said that b/c of the time, he could not call to get the price and I would have to wait until Tuesday. I asked if he had the price in his computer. All I was getting was one word responses. I asked him to possible ball park the price. Again, short, rude responses. I asked if that included installation. He responded in a way that gave me the feeling that I was wasting his time. Honestly, does the place do so much business that they do not need more customers? I was so frustrated at this point that even if the tire I needed was cheaper, I would go someone else. I will NEVER take my car here or ever recommend this hell hole of a shop. Firestone, not only have you had bad PR in the past for killing people with your shitty tires, you are digging your grave deeper by hiring monkeys with no social skills who sit around all day with their thumbs up their asses waiting to piss off new potential customers. read more

My husband has been taking his car to Firestone from the recommendation on Nextdoor, however, we have been experiencing horrible and dishonest services by salesperson Travis from the Lincoln Firestone just last night and will never return to the location again nor will ever return to another firestone. We have bought all 4 brand new tires from Firestone Within 12 months time frame and 2 of the 4 tires have all became flat under normal driving circumstances. When we took in our car, they simply only offered to repair when the case should have been a replacement instead. All 4 tires always seems to be low on air and every month we need to make trip to have them check and refill again. Problem were never resolved at this point. Needless to say when we purchases the tire, we paid for lifetime balancing. however, at the time of service, Travis had told the technicial to refuse the balancing servcie to us unless we pay another $60. Thank goodness we had kept all the invoices which clearly states lifetime balancing. we have filed a complaint and will be reporting this issue to BAR. AVOID FIRESTONE!! read more

The service was great. I talked to 3 different people, and they were all very friendly, they answered my questions, and they offered additional products and services. I have used them before, and i will use them again. I was even able to save a bit of money by signing up for the firestone credit card. I am glad we have a business like this in Lincoln. I was very disappointed with the service I received at this location. I took my car in for a check engine light diagnostic on Sunday night with the intention they would work on it Monday morning. I did not receive a call until Noon Monday with a Tech telling me they were halfway through my diagnostic and they think it could possibly be a fuel injector. He did not have a price quote ready for me I had to ask for it, he looked it up and quoted me around $550 for labor and part which broke down to about $229 for part and $310 for labor. I called two other shops in Lincoln for a price quote and they both quoted me less than $300 which broke down to about $90 for part and $150 for labor..I called Firestone back to ask why such a big difference in the price and gave them an opportunity for them to explain. They could not give me an answer. Needless to say I do not trust Firestone, nor will I be taking my vehicle back to them. On a positive note they did not charge me the diagnostic fee of $99. read more

I used to bring my vehicles here for the convenience. Not anymore! I soon found out their prices were a bit too high. In some instances, even higher than a dealership's. I first got burned by an overly expensive quote they gave me for a 15k/30k/45k/ etc etc service my car needed. I found it could get done cheaper somewhere else. I went back for a quote on tires, and again, they came up higher than other tire shops in the area. the tires themselves weren't that expensive, but where they get you is on the "road hazard protection" and "labor" costs. $300 out the door for 2 tires at $100 each?? Nah I don't think so! This week, figuring all I needed was an easy and simple tire rotation, I went back again. they rotated and aligned the tires. I drove away and shortly thereafter, the low-tire pressure light came on. I checked the tire pressure in all tires and they were all within 0.5 PSI of each other. no biggie, I figured it was just a tire sensor at that point. I went back 2 days later in the morning and told them about the issue. The guy at the counter says, "oh it must be the sensor. pull it up right over here and we'll take care of it right now" Kool I thought, easy fix! The mechanic instead "put" air in my tires, even though they were between 34 and 35PSI all of them. But hey, what do I know? I let the experts handled it and said nothing. guy added air to my tires. I said the light is still on. he said drive it for a bit and the light will go away. OK...I again left it to the experts and drove away. I came back in the afternoon again...because what you know? the light was still on. I told them what was going. same guy again checks the tire pressure. I told him is not the tire pressure, it's the light that reads the tire pressure...the light is on dude!! he goes and grabs a handheld device that's supposed to tell him how to reset the light and still can't figure out how to make the light go away. He comes back with the big fella who works the counter. they both tell me while holding this handheld device, that I am supposed to drive my vehicle for over 20 minutes at speeds over 16mph!! Are you kiddin' me? is this the best you can do??? The big fella then said, "yeah, we usually have this problem with the Jettas. You may have to take it to VW and have them fix that for you?" Not being one to cause a scene, I shook my head and drove straight to VW in Roseville, which is what I should've done in the first place. So to paraphrase what they said to me... "yeah, we caused the light to come on, but we can't correct it. So you're gonna have to spend more of your time and (probably $$) to correct the issue we caused 'cause we don't know what the heck is going on!" WHAT A JOKE!!! Came to find out, I would've saved myself about $20 had I gone through the dealership to begin with...lesson learn! read more

Horrible place. If you want to waste your money than this is the right place. Very very expensive place. They gave me estimate for my car brake service for $925 ( they want to change every thing rotor, clamp etc etc, )why not because they are making money. I showed them online prices of these parts and offered them if I can bring them but they do not want any parts from outside because they are charging double price on these parts also. I called Xyz auto service in Roseville and to my surprise my break job is done in only......$190 ..... In place of $925 ........ WOW..... now you can decide if you want to waste your money. If you want any proof I can provide written estimate from them and invoice from Xyz auto service. I will never ever go at this place. read more

Walked in to see how long an oil change would take on my Honda at 11am, they quoted me until end of day closing time at 6pm!! That is 7 hrs for a simple oil change! I informed I needed it quicker than that which they have done before for other customers and they just stood there and said they are "backed up" and "short staffed" an excuse I've heard from them one too many times. If you have all day gladly come Here, if not go elsewhere. Even with an appt you're sure to wait awhile as well! read more

I took my SUV to Firestone in Lincoln on Saturday and they were very busy so I told them I would return the following day. I returned before 10am on Sunday morning and needed to have 1 tire checked for a leak and possible nail in it. Was told that they would get to my tire asap but it would be a few hours. I left and took Uber home. Returned to Firestone at 5pm, closing time and my SUV had not been moved from where I left it. I asked the sales guy about my tire, and was told that they had not gotten to it yet. In 7 hours?? to check 1 tire? every one in there was waiting on their vehicle but all the people I spoke with dropped their cars off hours after mine. I told the sales associate that I would be taking my SUV with me and he had me sign something as I left. I didn't blow up and bitch and complain, not that it would have done any good so I thought the best response would be here. I will never ever never ever take any of my vehicles here for anything and its a shame because I only live about 2 miles away and it is very convenient. Non the less, the service sucks. read more

I recently experienced a rather disturbing situation that happened to me at this location in Lincoln. I usually take my car in there for the oil change and problems with tires. However when I took it in last week after a complimentary 9 point inspection they told me I needed brakes front and back with rotors because they were metal-to-metal. I then took it to my Lexus dealer and they they inspected the brakes, and they told me there was nothing wrong with my brakes and that they were at 50% and the rotors were fine. Firestone also told me I needed a new alternator belt because it was cracked. After Lexus inspected it, they told me all belts were fine. When I called to confront Firestone with their findings versus the findings at the Lexus dealer. Tim at Firestone, told me that dealers go both ways. And that he claimed they never said they were metal-to-metal. I will never take my car to them again. Beware especially residence that live in Del Webb. You can be easily taken advantage by them offering Parts you don't need. read more

Recently, I took my daughters car (an old beater) in for some help isolating some problems she was having and their team were great. They kept me informed on progress they were making in uncovering a number of issues and then when I picked it up they helped me prioritize the various issues and decide on which items to fix now and which could wait (until funds were available). These guys are AWESOME!! They really do provide exceptional service and they go above and beyond. We needed a new alternator and battery on a Saturday at 4:30pm. Of course, no one else was open but Firestone was. We are out of towners and they let my 4 year old take over the lobby. Our car was fixed by 6pm at a great price. One of the guys even helped us get a great price for a hotel. Which was an even bigger blessing because come to find out the pass was closed. THANK YOU guys sooo much!! read more

My dad, Carl always brought his truck, appropriately named "Big Red" into this Firestone. He recently gave me his truck, because of his terminal condition and when I went to Firestone today to ask them to check the air in my tires, I met the nicest group of Firestone guys, many of which knew my dad and "Big Red" before I even said anything. One man briefly stepped away from working on a car to ask how my dad is doing and to give my dad a hug from the guys at Firestone. I can honestly say that I've never experienced care and professionalism like I did today. So, thank you for not only the awesome work you did for my dad, but for remembering customers as more than just a number. read more

We have had some work done here previously to our satisfaction but I have come to realize that if you need anything other than a simple oil change than head somewhere else. Our 2008 Chevy Aveo needed new brakes so we dropped it off at Firestone for an estimate. Within the hour we received a call saying that the car needed brake pads, new rotors, and calipers. The estimate for a brake job was $800. REALLY? We told them thanks but no thanks. I took my car to Made in America, Made in Japan on Howe Ave and had a great experience. I was told the rotors could be resurfaced, and there was nothing wrong with the calipers except for cleaning them. The cost with flushing the brake line was $316. So, even though Firestone told me I could charge the service on the Firestone credit card with 6 mo interest free (wow) I saved almost $500. Also, we needed tires for another car and found them $250 less at Americas Tires and gave Firestone the option of matching their price but they would not so from now on we will not deal with them at all. read more

I have been to this place many times, but my recent experience with them was not a good one. A couple of weeks ago, I went to have my Toyota Corolla serviced for an oil change and tire rotation. I had an appointment that day so after a couple of hours they called me to pick up my car. As I mentioned earlier I had my other car also serviced by Firestone Lincoln before, so I was confident they did a good job. After 4 days from the oil change, I noticed a smoke coming from the hood while driving and a burning smell. I decided to check and to my utter shocked, the technician who serviced my Toyota Corolla forgot to placed back the engine oil cover causing oil to spew all over the engine and the hood. I was disappointed to the fact that I also used this car in dropping and picking up my daughter to school. In other words, this was a safety issue. So before driving out of their shop after you pick up your car, make sure that you check the hood, and that nothing is amiss. But for me, I doubt it if I will even go back to Firestone Lincoln. read more

I've been coming to Lincoln Firestone on Sterling for several years now. I've always been helped immediately, treated with respect, and they don't try to up sell you for more than what you came in for. In fact, I've been told, "right now, there are only 50,000 miles on the car even though it's 13 years old. Those spark plugs are built to go for 75,000 miles. You don't need to replace them right now, it can wait another 25,000 miles, or because of the age of the car (13 years old) if it happens again you may want to change them early if they are misfiring. However, it's not dangerous and it isn't going to leave you stranded." Same with the transmission, he told us he "respectfully declined to look at the transmission because it requires special training and they aren't trained to work on transmissions. It would be better to go to a transmission specialty shop." No trying to gouge more money out of us or do something they aren't equipped to do! They have INTEGRITY! read more

When I lived in Lincoln I had been taking my car here for years. Always quick and quality service with very little wait time. Also close to my nail shop. When I moved to Auburn, I continued to take my car there mostly because of Tim, the manager. Him I trust. About 3 month ago an oil change went bad (defective part) and I lost all the oil out of my car very quickly causing the engine to do an auto shutdown (Toyota). I had it towed to the shop and they paid for the tow and re-did the oil change. Tim apologized many times and said if there was ever a problem because to this they would make it right. 3 months later the oil light keep coming on and per the Toyota dealership, the engine was shot. I quickly called Tim, and within a day he had the car towed to another shop and a new engine ordered. In less than a week the new engine was put in (with 90K miles LESS that the old engine). The cost of the new engine was more than Bluebook on the car. Although inconvenient, I am impressed that Tim not only took ownership of the problem, but did everything he could to make it right as quickly as possible. I will continue to make this my go to for regular service because they stand behind there word. read more
