Honest Service and Great Team at Tires Direct - Lincoln I had a great experience at Tires Direct in Lincoln today. I noticed a screw in my front tire and drove in hoping they could take a quick look. Jacob helped me right away and explained the options, offering a very fair price for either a plug or a patch. Christian, the tire technician, got my van into the bay quickly and checked the tire. After inspecting it, he discovered that the screw hadn't actually punctured the tire, so no repair was needed. Instead of just sending me on my way, he took the time to check all my tires and inflate them because the pressure was low from the cold weather. When I went to the front desk to pay, Usman and Jacob told me there was no charge and that I was good to go. That level of honesty and customer service is rare these days. They easily could have charged me for a repair, but they didn't because it wasn't needed. This is exactly the kind of business people want to support. Poor customer service! Got a flat in pouring rain so AAA came and replaced it. Called tires direct they said come in tomorrow morning. They helped me fairly quickly, were able to patch the tire and I was on my way an hour later. This was in the midst of the 'atmospheric river' storms in No. Cal. Never did I think to check that they stowed the spare as in my experience that's standard practice. Didn't discover until next day in another downpour when I tried loading groceries in that they had just tossed the donut in my hatchback. I'm a female sr citizen and if I'd had any idea they wouldn't stow my spare I'd have at least asked if I could have done it myself in their nice dry garage instead of being stuck on the street in pouring rain trying to remove the pieces of hatchback in order to stow the spare. So basically I was on my way up going to Chico in my Prius and my tire blows out. All I had was a flat repair kit no spare so I had to limp over to the closest tire shop being tires direct. At first I wasn't sure what to expect since I like going to my same guys every time I need tires. I respectfully asked respectful young man I think his name was Jacob, to give me a patch so I can be on my way I have a tight schedule. Jacob informed me it wouldn't be safe or possible to patch my tire and instead he'd give me a used one. He also pointed out that my 3 other tires were almost bald but had a couple more miles in them. He said best thing would be to replace them all but since I was short on time he'd give me a deal on the used tire. This man was very reasonable and the guys in the shop work quick. read more

You get one chance to make a first impression. I called Tires Direct to see if they could get me in for an Oil Change and Remove a screw from one of my tires. I was told they were busy, but I could bring my car in at 3:00. So I arrived a few minutes early, I was greeted by a young guy, he asked what I needed ? I began to tell him I was there for an Oil change, he promptly told me they did not have time today to do it. I told him I called earlier and was told to bring my car in at 3:00. He then asked me "Who I talked to" ? I told the young man, "never mind, I'll go somewhere else". I recommend not doing business at Tires Direct. The manager offers very poor customer service and is only interested in selling new products. I had a couple of flat tires on my riding mower. He told me he had repaired them three times already, which is not true, and insisted I buy new. They had only a hundred hours of use. Les Schwab, in Rocklin, took care of the repair in a timely manner and were pleasant to deal with. Great place, I have used many times and will continue to do. I came here today for the very first time since I live in Lincoln I was trying to find something close by and was referred to them online I took my car in this morning at 8:44-ish and my car was done by 9:21 the guy working the front counter was very friendly and very helpful and said it would be about 30 to 40 minutes it was definitely done before that which was awesome this place is very clean inside very clean establishment very clean atmosphere it's nice that they do more than just tires over here that they also offer oil changes since I didn't want to have to drive around everywhere looking for a place this was not even five minutes away and definitely convenient they did a really nice job with my car very nice work very happy with the services at my car received I will definitely recommend them for anybody looking to have any kind of service is done to your car they are really great and did everything within a great speedy time I will definitely be coming back here again soon next time I need anything done with my tires or oil changes they were really friendly and very quick thank you Tires direct you guys definitely made a customer out of me read more

I came in because I had a tire not holding air. They replaced the valve stem thinking that was the problem. When I took the tire home and put it on the tractor, we realized the tire itself was cracked. I went in and asked for a refund only to be treated like I was in the wrong. He argued with me for a while until he had no choice but to refund me. The guy was so mad that he made his employees cut the valve stem off entirely and then handed it back to me. His own employees thought it was wrong and just shook their heads. Horrible service. Will not go back read more

My daughter's car needed new tires and brakes. We took it Tires Direct based on a recommendation from a friend. When we arrived, the place was busy and people were moving fast to get things done. We were met in the parking lot and explained what we needed, the tech took a look at the tires and showed us how bad the tires actually were and then we went inside. We were offered a great selection in different tires and settled on the best price for the highest mile rated tires. They also said they would inspect the brakes and I told them to fix what needs fixing. They told me it would unfortunately take an hour to hour and half--I was shocked, I thought it would be 2-3 hours easy if not longer. We returned about about an hour and 20 min later and the car was done. When I went to pay, they told me that the car had 4 new tires and only needed front front brakes--I was impressed with the speed and quality received. I had given them carte blanc for the brakes and a less honest shop would have done front and back needed or not. Never come here for oil change.. or at all circumstances... I was on the area and happened to be needing an oil change and was reading some reviews about this shop and I'm telling you it's not even worth the price and time. The guy was on the phone while he's servicing me. He only asked for my name that's it. No contact info. I came here for oil change because my car was acting and sounded weird. I'm sure it was because I needed some of my steering power fluid fill. I didn't care if I'll pay more I just need my car being serviced. He said it'll take 15 minutes... when I came back he said " oh we change the oil pan bolt " then he showed me it. I'm like it looks fine but I don't care so I paid for it and it was 8 dollars additional. They didn't diagnose my car like all single oil change shop does. I was just not satisfied with everything. No diagnose at all... ohhh they didn't put sticker on how much mileage I got and how much do I need for the next oil change. It's just a messy shop and it seems like they don't wanna offer you business. And it seems like no one wants to get something done in this store.. I'm sorry but I have to say this... I wouldn't give this place any stars if it would let me. I went in yesterday asking if I could make an appointment for my sons car to be repaired. I needed the rotor replaced on the right rear wheel because I just had his brakes replaced the week before but was told that the rotor needed to be replaced. I had purchased the rotor and have it I just needed a shop to do it. The man I spoke to said he couldn't do it. I apologized and said I thought you did that type of work here. He said we do. He said I can't help you because you had someone else do your brakes. The man refused to help me. I don't understand. I also asked for an oil change. They said yes they do I'll changes. I'm even more confused. I've had my oil changed in another place as well. So why will they do an oil change. I just wish I understood the reasoning behind this. I felt discouraged and confused leaving the shop. I was referred by a good friend to this shop. My friend works for an auto parts distributor so I'm sure he has referred a majority of this places business. I will never step foot in this place again nor would I refer anyone. I want to leave a fair review although I am leading towards 1 star here, I walked in needed a new tire replaced one of them got slashed with a razor blade, I showed the guy the picture of it and he was really focused on the cracks of the tire not the slash itself, he asks if it's been sitting for a while I said yes, and that was his opportunity to try and get me to buy a whole new batch of tires for $590, i then proceeded to go to my man American Tires, where they said I only needed one, I was ready to get 2 because when one is gone it's better to get another to even out the tread, and they said it wasn't necessary since they were all pretty good tires, not only did my boy American tires come in clutch in saving me from getting 4 tires, they saved me from getting 2 tires. In conclusion do NOT go to Tires Direct if you need tires replaced, they will try to get you to pay more money that you need to pay, the people that work here are just here for your money. Place is absolutely garbage.. worst customer service and extreme lack for quality work. I have been ripped off by these guys too many times, I have always giving them the benefit of doubt but after the last super expensive set of knock off wheels and costing me a set of brakes, tire sensor, hub cap, I finally decided I will never again go there.. That was all just on my last experience. The experience prior I paid for an alignment and they didn't even get it close. I don't recommend anybody giving these guys service. Every time I had an issue too the manager off shop acted as if it were my fault that they didn't seat the bead in the brand new tire so I get a flat 10 miles later on freeway, or it's my fault they didn't put hub caps back on properly and just so happen to lose one on the freeway right after leaving there, or it's my fault that they can't align my truck, etc. etc. Rather than take accountability and realize they touched it last and make it right they don't operate that way.. These guys are crooks trying to make a buck off honest people with there shitty products and terrible customer service and quality of work.. There prices are not competitive either so why would anybody go there read more

By far the best service you could possibly ask for. Had my whole front end rebuilt on my 2500. All new tie rods, Pittman Arm, Idler, etc. Plus, threw some nice wheels and tires on as well. Price was right on point. Would recommend these guys to any one! read more
