HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION!!! I called at 11AM to get my headlight bulbs replaced the next day. My vehicle requires me to fully take my bumper off to replace the headlight bulbs so I let the associate know. The gentleman on the phone quoted me $169 for the headlights and labor. When I came in FOR MY APPOINTMENT at 8AM the gentleman at the front told me it would be $152 for the replacement. After inspecting my car he then said it would be $264 "because labor for one side was put on the vehicle". I have notes from the first call where he said the lights were $13 a piece and the rest was 1.5 hrs of labor. When I then asked the associate just said "he only put in one side so it's higher". When doing calculations none of the totals added up and turns out I'm getting told different prices. How can labor for just one side result in the extra fee that's not even for the same amount??? read more

No customer service. I pulled in, hoping to get help with a warning light on my dash. I went inside since the men working on cars were busy, and waited while two other customers were served. When my turn came, I explained my issue and was told where to pull up and that the young man would, "be right out to check all (my) tires." Ten minutes later, after watching the young man on his cell phone, I left. I know he did not forget me, because he kept looking at me. Whatever he was doing on his phone must have been very important because he neither serviced my car nor stopped by to let me know what the delay was. Very impressed - I took my car in for oil change and full car inspection. They called me and emailed me with pictures every single thing they looked at that had issues. When they talked to me on the phone they weren't pushy and didn't try to tell me everything was an emergency that needed fixed asap. This is what impressed me the most, as a single female that doesn't know much about cars they could have easily tried to pressure me so I really appreciate that they didn't. I would not recommend! Do not leave any personal belongings in your vehicle. Took my vehicle to Firestone on Crismon located in Mesa. After spending over $1200 on repairs, a tech at this site took tools out of my set. I'm a new electrician apprentice, single mom and those belongings were paid for out of my pocket. The store of course did not own up to it and I had to reach out to corporate but I will never being doing business with this company again. read more

As much as this store is close and convenient. The team here is extremely unfriendly and loves to take advantage of people. I've had a lot of work done on my car and replaced many things, lots being projects my brother in law did since he's a mechanic. But some things just done at other shops. This store told me I needed to replace SO MANY THINGS that have all been done within the last 3 months... they also never gave me a receipt and the guy who checked me out didn't acknowledge me pretty much at all. Also the fix they did do is 100% temporary they didn't even use real clips to fix the piece. So it's not actually fixed and still hangs, because they didn't actually use clips to fix the issue. I am not at all happy with the Firestone service I received at this location. I had an appointment and arrived on time For an oil change. It was 45 minutes before my car was taken into a service . The entire time I was there was an hour and 45 minutes until I got my car back. Another lady who was there when I had the same sort of experience just to have her brake light changed. One of the tires on my civic had a nail it. I usually go to Discount or BigO but Firestone is closer and thought I would give them a shot. I took the tire off the car and brought in at 9:00 am (when they opened). They took my information down and said they would call when it was ready. By 3:00 no call I decided to drive up there. The tire was ready and they charged me $20.50 to plug it. I don't mind paying for service, but if you are looking to have a tire plugged I would recommend Discount Tire or Big O. Over the years I have taken many tires to them and they have plugged them for free and they usually take care of it in a few minutes since they didn't have to remove the tire or use a stale for the car. In return, I will buy my tires from those companies as well. Since I took the tire off and I would be the one putting it back on I waited for that phone call that never came. Since they are not able to perform the little details I'm not sure I would trust them with more complicated tasks. read more

I made an appointment at 10:00 a.m. on September 7, 2025, for five new tires and an oil change. I arrived at the appointment as scheduled and was told the job would take two and a half hours, so I didn't wait there at the store. 12:30pm, it came and went, then 1:30pm came and went. So, at 1:45pm, I called to check on the status of the work. I was told, "We're still working on it". At 2:07pm, I got an alert on my phone, saying that my tire pressure was low. (I have an app that will allow me to lock and unlock my vehicle and it notifies me of any issues it tracks with it as well). So, according to my app, my vehicle wasn't even TOUCHED until 2:07pm! At 3:45pm, I got a call stating that the vehicle is ready to be picked up and was asked if I wasn't going to be able to make it to the shop to pick it up by 4:15pm, they would have to close the shop and I would have to pick up my vehicle the next day! I don't live far from the QC shop where my vehicle was, so I made it by 4:00pm. When I voiced my displeasure that a two-and-a-half-hour job turned into an almost 6-hour job, and that I knew they didn't even touch my vehicle until 4 hours after my SCHEDULED appointment, I was met with, "At least it's done". Really? DO BETTER. Do better all around. Had I waited, would my vehicle have been done in the said two and a half hours? Makes no sense to me. I requested a call from the store manager, Ryan, two days ago, but there was no callback. I asked to be contacted by corporate to let them know how I was treated in their store, but I received no callback. Just wow. read more

One of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had. Requested an alignment for my fiancés Chevy S10, after our truck sat all day the 1st day, WE called them to check on our vehicle and was notified that due to the shims on the truck something would need to be ordered & they needed a more experienced tech to complete the job. (Makes sense) A day later our truck is still in there hands and an hour before close still no update on our vehicle. once more WE were the ones to make contact with the business for an update. Again we were informed that no one on site was experienced enough to complete the task aside from the young man speaking to me, so I went to pick up my truck, because after 2 days of literally no progress, was it ever really going to be completed? Upon arrival I'm assuming someone who has a management position, that I spoke to on the phone a young man named Zarin was assisting another customer in front of me, when what I'm assuming is a technician wearing a "small pecker hoodie" as he came from the door that leads to the shop area where vehicles are worked on and says, as he drops what I assume to be a customers keys on the counter, "Still don't have my license bro, I'm driving a company vehicle" As the other 4 techs behind him sat & yapped instead of actually working on any cars in their bays. It is then my turn to be assisted, I presume to ask again why the alignment on my truck could not be completed in the two day time frame, he proceed to mention once more how no one aside from him was experienced, nor did a few of them even want to attempt the task even if they did know how. However it could "maybe" be done as he now has some time but somehow we still had another vehicle in front of our service request although we had been there an entire day prior. As I left with my keys two of the other techs presume to leave the car in bay they "were working on" to take a smoke break This experience was overall a waste of my time and nothing but a bunch of bullshit excuses as to why the boys in that shop couldn't or wouldn't do their job. Please do not take your vehicle here for any services as I'm afraid you'll be scammed or receive half assed service/ care. read more

If you want incompetent technicians to work on your car and leave you stranded this is the place for you!! don't get your car serviced here unless you want to have to come back for warranty work constantly and getting stranded in the middle of nowhere, they will also have your vehicle for weeks at a time. Had my starter wire replaced and the new wire that Firestone replaced for a lot of money is defective leaving me stranded. My car won't start again after paying them a lot of money to fix it. I am having to repair the work I paid Firestone to do as they didn't do it correctly nor reliably. Now I'm paying twice for the same repair. The wire doesn't look new, they re crimped a spade to the wire and the connector fell off the wire already (incorrectly repaired and not properly crimped). They recommended I need a new starter last visit. Now car won't start and I get the starter pulled off and see the wire connection is bad and I just had them replace this recently. Did they want me to come back to get the "bad" starter replaced for more money when the starter isn't bad at all and it's the wire connector that wasn't repaired correctly. They keep trying to sell me a new starter for additional money but I know that my Tahoe doesn't need a starter. The wire that I paid for to get replaced failed on me and they keep trying to sell me on a starter that won't fix the problem. I also had my brakes serviced and had to bring back 3 times for warranty and get brakes replaced 3 times from them in a matter of months. After 2 brake replacement/ first warranty replacement and service, Brakes failed on freeway while pulling trailer and put me in a very dangerous position. Then they found that they messed up again and replaced them for the 3rd time. They tried telling me it was my abs pump but I had another shop check out my abs pump and no issues. This shop has issues with clear communication and attention to detail. I am absolutely fed up with this team and location. After spending thousands of dollars and getting mistreated and terrible service and being stranded and almost crashing from total brake failure due to their negligence is ridiculous. I've also lost lots of time and money between all the uber rides back and forth to and from the auto shop bringing my car back to them for warranty repairs. I am considering filing a lawsuit as you have put me and others in dangerous position on the road after I paid for safe brakes and much more. I'm worried about other customers getting screwed over or dying from a brake failure if they pay Firestone to service their brakes on their car. You just can't trust this team, I even had their managers check on things and just keep getting ripped off by the managers as well. read more

Very happy with this shop. In AZ summer weather, of course my AC stops blowing cold..a friend mentioned Firestone does a $10 AC maintenance check. Scheduled an appointment for 3pm and had my truck back by 7! They even waited for me till 15 mins after! Will was my tech and kept me informed, he was helpful and didn't make me feel pressured to make a decision on other recommended services. CRASHED MY VEHICLE AND TRIED TO CHALLENGE A PHYSICAL ALTERCATION. I visited the Firestone location on Alma School for a simple oil change, with an appointment set for 1 PM. Unfortunately, we didn't get our vehicle back until 5 PM due to an employee accidentally crashing into a shelving unit exploding one of the tires. Despite waiting several hours, we received no update on the status of our vehicle. When I finally called about 330pm I was met with an unapologetic employee who informed me of the damage and stated they would replace the tire with a Firestone brand. I insisted that both front tires should match and requested a Goodyear tire, as originally fitted. The employee claimed he had no authority to make that decision and suggested I return the next day to speak with the manager. This delay was particularly problematic as my family and I were preparing for a trip to San Diego, and I was concerned about driving with mismatched tires. When we arrived to pick up the car at 4:30 PM, the vehicle was still not ready. The staff member, who claimed to be the manager, displayed a condescending attitude, suggesting we should be "grateful" for receiving a supposedly superior Firestone tire. Despite our objections, they refused to replace the tire with a Goodyear, as it needed to be ordered. Throughout this ordeal, there was no apology from any staff members. The supposed manager acted aggressively, trying to provoke a physical altercation with my husband. He denied responsibility for the damage and insisted we pay for the service. I refused to pay until our vehicle was restored to its original condition. This "manager" strutted around behind the counter with a smirk on his face, and acted like dumb teenager dealing with overactive hormones or a steroid raged mindless fool. His pompous attitude and unprofessional attitude must have been very embarrassing for the store and displaying this behavior in front of other patrons was even more disturbing. Finally, my husband checked the vehicle before we left and overheard the manager using obscene language about us when he thought I wasn't around. We left with the mismatched Firestone tire and were told to return later for a proper replacement. The actual store manager scheduled a tire change, but it couldn't be done for a week as we were leaving town. During our trip, the replacement tire had to be refilled three times, and our SUV pulled to one side the entire time, causing us to worry about further damage. The employee we dealt with was unprofessional, and his behavior was unacceptable. Firestone used to have a good reputation, but this experience was incredibly disappointing. I would get better service from my 14-year-old neighbor working on my vehicle. I hope the employee in question was held accountable for his actions. The first yelp review I've ever posted in my life. Dishonest people who take advantage of girls coming in for a simple oil change and leaving with a $300 bill by "recommendations." Engine air filter, cabin air filter, and wiper blades coming to a total of 157.96. An average cabin air filter costs $14, engine air filter $20 tops, and wiper blades are $7-20 and takes 5-10 minutes to change all of them. Shouldn't have been more than 60 and somehow they managed to add $100 to that. And a "recommended" $21.48 tire rotation when the car was just recently rotated AND balanced by discount tire for FREE. Had my work van towed to this location Thursday morning. No one called with an update later on nor advised me how long it would take to have it checked. Called after a few hours to check and was told a technician is looking at it here and there. Next day came.. still no call from shop .. called again throughout the day and got the same run around. Third day came ..called shop continually for an hour in the morning after they opened and no one answered phone. Have been very good for my basic maintenance needs, i.e. oil/filter replacement, brake fluid replacement, wipers, etc.

Took my Ford Ranger in. Check engine light was on. Digital diagnostic test app showed failed engine coolant temperature sensor. Showed person at the desk the app results. They called and said that they found the thermostat was bad. Also said it needed coolant flush. Ok. $567 later and before I reached the first traffic light the check engine light was on again. Took the truck back immediately and they were going to check it out again. They said there would be no charge. Then they found the failed engine coolant temperature sensor. But now it was going to be an additional $430. My question is do they ignore the customer's request to check on what a digital app reports or just assume that they know better. And what if the truck didn't need the thermostat and coolant flush. Or maybe they ignore an older female. Wonder if a younger male would have been treated differently. I won't be back. read more

From 5 stars to 1. I stopped getting my oil changed here because they told me I needed new brakes on my car with under 25k miles. I thought it sounded weird because my miles are so low and I only drive a few miles a day. Took my car somewhere else for a second opinion. The guy asked me why I would even think I needed new brakes. I told him firestone told me I needed new ones, he assured me what they said was complete BS and that I was thousands of miles away from needing new brakes. My tires were squeaking after a recent tire rotation at jiffy lube. I called Firestone on a Saturday morning to get in, understanding it's a busy day. They were able to take my car for drop off and told me it would be early afternoon before I heard from them. All good, as it was my day off. I took it into Firestone to get an opinion on it and they recommended a new steering rack quoted at $2,800. I took it to another shop and all I needed was new pads/rotors and it's driving fine. Brought my brother-in-law's vehicle here February 2 after having four new tires put on in December requested a four wheel alignment here we are eight months later all four tires have to be replaced on the vehicle already due to inner tire wear one tire blew out on the freeway with my wife and kids in the car. Had to have the car towed to discount tire and get 2 new tires put on it to get him by for a week or so. Went back to this firestone location today October 8 and spoke with a gentleman by the name of Mike Gallo who was as useless as could be. He pretty much laughed when I told him we had an issue and we need to figure something out because there's no way all four tires should be wearing on the inside Within eight months Mike proceeded to ask me if I still had the paper that was given to me when they did the alignment eight months ago I responded with I 'm not sure I think I do but I don't know for sure don't you guys keep a copy of it? he responded with no we don't keep paper copies and it doesn't get uploaded into the computer because the alignment machine is completely different software. I then proceeded to say to him well you guys print out two copies you give me one and you keep the other and staple it to the invoice. What happens to that copy? he stated it goes in the end of day paperwork and gets filed into a box that they store, I said well then you should be able to go through that box and find the paper that is needed that you were asking about.
