This is one of the best experience I've ever had in a automotive repair shop. The service writer, Anthony greeted me, was very courteous and very professional when he was taking my information and the complaints of my vehicle. When the service was completed, Daniel the technician, and Anthony, both explained what was done, and even checked my tire pressure. They went on and beyond of my request. As a woman, I did not feel like they were taking advantage and finding just anything wrong with the car like other places. And it was not uncomfortable having these two gentleman taking care of the repairs of my vehicle and the safety of my daughter and I. On the contrary, they explained everything that was done and were extremely nice. Also, JC, the shop manager made sure that I left satisfied. They all work together as a team. The general manager in that shop has great leadership and work ethic. I highly recommend this location! Not even my Mercedes dealership will give me that kind of service. Brought my company vehicle in for oil change and they 1) forgot to drain old oil; 2) overfilled my oil reservoir by multiple quarts; 3) didn't even bother to check dipstick to see new level of oil. Terrible customer service. Went in today because my low tire pressure light came on. I asked the guy to check and see if I had a nail. Right from the beginning he was giving me major attitude and didn't even care to check if I had a nail. All he did was put air in my tire....guess what....I HAD A NAIL IN MY TIRE! I want to start off by saying this was my first visit to Firestone with any of my cars... I took in my 2009 BMW 3-Series after I had one of my run flats stop holding air altogether. I came in thinking I'd just replace to OEM Potenza tires but after talking to Manager Blanco, he showed me what was new in the run flat world. I was hesitant because they are not cheap and I'd have to live with a tire that I wasn't happy about. I did learn they have a 30 day trial run for tires, this is definitely a plus! I can happily report that after some spirited driving around town, the Bridgestone DriveGuard Run Flat tire is SUPERB! It is quiet and very very grippy. It is slightly harder than the Potenza in feel (which I like) and it makes the back end feel tight. I do appreciate a good responsive tire/suspension package. I have the sport package in my car which has tighter suspension and wider wheel configuration out back. I did also get an alignment and again I was very skeptical because of BMW's particular camber setup on the rear end but they did a beautiful job. Car feels and drives straight and for the first time ever in my life, the steering wheel was not crooked after an alignment. This is one of my biggest pet peeves and it seems like every time I get any of my cars aligned, they leave the steering wheel crooked and I have to take it back to correct the issue. Overall, I am very happy with the product and service they provided. read more

My experience at this shop was 100% positive. The customer service and the quality of work were both excellent. I had a flat tire on my rental car, and the rental car company directed me here for service. JeanCarlo was my service advisor, and he was top-notch; not only was he very professional, but he also seemed genuinely concerned about helping customers. My rental car company ended up backtracking on its initial statement that it would cover the cost of a new tire. JeanCarlo spoke to his manager, Yoniel, about the situation, and Yoniel gave me a severe discount. I truly cannot thank them enough. This was a busy shop, but it seemed very organized. First Firestone I've walked into that I feel hassle free and confident that they are giving me the best deal possible. I had tires under warranty and only drove 8k on my tires, before I noticed that they were completely gone. Came in for two tire replacement, but the manager johnny took his time looking over everything, show me the importance of an alignment, and helped me get the tires replaced under warranty. Further, I also got the life time alignment (which my current alignment was completely shot and the dealer could not fix so they definitely stepped up here! ) and got me a good deal on the other two tires I had which were not looking to good either. Stay away from this place. I went it for an oil change, and they found a huge nail that was not there, had to pay to get it fixed, but the guys were looking suspicious. Second time I went in for an oil change, I inspected my tires before going in: no nails. While I was waiting they called me in. Guess what? Yes, they found a huge nail. I went in because the oil light on my car turned on and started flashing, I told the guy at the desk about the problem I was having, he told me it would take a moment for their mechanic to diagnose my car and they would charge me $19.99 to diagnose it, two hours later someone finally took a look at my car, said that he was unable to give me a definitive answer for my problem and told me to take my car into the dealership, although they were unable to diagnose my car, they still charged me the $19.99, I call it theft! Also, they don't have enough chairs for people to sit while they wait for their cars to be services. Never going back, very disappointed... read more

I feel like this place just keeps getting worse and worse over the years. I usually avoid this place, but I needed a new battery quick so I decided to give them another try. First off let me give you some perspective. When I went this place did have cars the technicians were working on, but it did not appear incredibly busy. I waited nearly 2 HOURS for them to tell me what I already knew... I needed a new battery. For that piece of wisdom they charge $25 bucks. Then they want to tell me my throttle body needs replacing and it's gonna cost $100, which I told them NOT to do, even though their salesman insisted it was paramount. Some more perspective...my car is only just over a year old.lol So they finally replace my battery and total cost is $175 big bucks... I'm talking about a battery here.haha 25$ bucks for an "expert consult" to tell me I need a battery, $119 for the battery and $15 for installation + tax. Can you say RIP OFF. If I didn't need it right away I would never have come here, but since they are only a block away from my home I figured "what's the harm, it's just a battery". Plane and simple I shouldn't have given this place a 2nd chance, they are not up to par. Oh and FYI my throttle body is fine and while I was sitting in the waiting area I heard another mechanic tell a customer that his "throttle body" needs to be replaced.lmao Are these ppl seriously trying to run the same scam on everyone who walks in the store?haha so insane it's hilarious. One star because they didn't do what they were supposed to do. Took in my car for brake service, picked up the car and it had the same problems. Took the car back and they "fixed" the problem... 2 days later still having the same car troubles. They claim it's been fixed-- but it hasn't. I came in after work about 6:00 pm spoke to JC. After listening to the noise my car had, he advised me to come back next day by 7:00 am. I did come back and was greeted by Oscar, after a couple of minutes, Oscar told me what was wrong with my car. I was offered a ride home, then they would call me when done and that is exactly what happened. I wanted to emphasize how I was treated. Incredible professionalism and treated with such respect, with all my questions there was an answer... Great job! Definitely will make it my car care place...once again GREAT JOB! read more

If I could leave this place ZERO stars, I would!!! Everyone please, heed my warning, because they are such liars here, I am so disgusted with their customer service it's not even funny. I had read the bad reviews as well, and didn't pay attention, because their location is so conveniently close to my home, however, I will never give them my business again. I took my car here for an oil change a couple of months back. I only do synthetic. Their synthetic oil change is between $60-$70, I can't recall the exact price, but it is between that. And then of course you typically need a tire rotation when you do the oil change, and that will run you about another $20. So i did both services. Half way through, the adviser/employee, comes out to speak with me and shows me a print out paper, of some numbers, that are supposed to represent my car batteries level of performance. He told me my battery needed replacing....I wanted to laugh. I'm no mechanic, but let's do the math here...my car is a 2017. It was not even a year old at the time of service, and they think I'm so stupid that I need to replace my battery? I told him not to worry about that, and to just continue with the oil change. I may not be an expert on cars, but if my old toyota yaris was able to get by on a battery lasting approx. 5 years, I would expect the same for my honda. Definitely not barely a year! Needless to say, I decided to take my car in to the Honda dealership in Pinecrest this past sat. for the most recent oil change, and guess what? I spent $46 on a SYNTHETIC oil change AND tire rotation! Their synthetic oil change is $40 typically, and rotation $20, but they had happened to email me a coupon I was able to use. Regardless, without the coupon, I still would not have even paid that for just an oil change alone at firestone! And guess what else? There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with my battery! I always had a misconception that doing oil changes at the dealer would be pricier, but I was so very wrong. So yelpies, what I am trying to tell you is, stay away from Firestone. My Nissan Sentra for sometime was was given me little noises and shaking at some point, I had taking it to different mechanic shops. But no one seems to fix all the little problems. Thankfully I went to Firestone for an oil change, and boy was I impress. Fist of all the waiting area was clean and comfortable, their customer service is amazing, (very unexpected for s mechanic shop) JC and store manager John were superb, they explain my car issues and needless to say resolved them in a timely manner. I have been to this location twice in one week for 2 different vehicles that I own. First time, the manager Yoniel Blanco recommended a perfect tire for my wife's car. He had me in and out within an hour and a half. This visit included a change of a tire, rotation and alignment. For me that is great customer service, since my time is valuable when raising two young children. I explained to him before I left that I had another vehicle that I would like to bring in, because the last time I serviced it there, for some crazy reason my tire censor light stayed on. I let him know this and he said, bring it in tomorrow and we will take care of that for you. So that is exactly what I did. He informed me that the problem was that the spare tire was low on air. Little did I know that the spare tire also had a censor. Yoniel suggested that I should go ahead and rotate and align my tires, since I was going out of town with my wife and children. Plus I also have unlimited alignment in my account. That showed me that not only is he knowledgeable, but also was concerned for my family and my safety. He had me out of there in no time, because I was with my 3 year old daughter. I would like to thank Firestone, Yoniel and the entire Firestone crew for a great experience. read more

Took a long time for me to write this because I did not know how this would come out or how I felt about the whole situation. I took my car in because I needed an oil change the guy in front greeted me very nicely and started to hit on me when I refused to give him my number, he let me know that my number was in the computer system so he had my number. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable. So by the time I came to pick up my car I had a list of issues. My car broke down on the road the following today. I took my car back and here goes is creep again asking for my number claiming, he can help me and give me a discount on the radiator they be damaged. If you want to get ripped off and get sexually harassed please come to Firestone on 88th and 157th. This place is completely disgusting they damaged my car. Once this supposedly fixed my car the guy. This guy had me test run my vehicle with him in my car and this is where he attempted to kiss me. I told him this is not happening and I dropped him off in the front and I left. A friend suggested the firestone on 156 ave and 88 st in Kendall , and it was well worth the drive not only were they able to price match the tires but the service was great. I have to say that I was very disappointed with my visit to firestone yesterday. I have been taking my car there for many years for mainly oil changes and sometimes damaged tires. Every time I took a tire for a flat I was told it couldn't be repaired. I took a flat yesterday and right away was told that the tire was damaged and worn. The man just looked at it and said that instead of testing it they way it should be done. I purchased the tires a couple of months back and barely drive my car because I work from home, so they are barely worn. I was told it was going to cost $130 to change it. I was skeptical so decided to take it to another shop near by and they did the appropriate test on the tire, fixed it, placed it back on the car and didn't even charge me. They didn't charge me because they happen to take about 2 hours so felt bad to do so. Now that is what I call good customer service. Never taking my car back to firestone. God knows how many tires were in repairable condition and I replaced them. Sad that they take advantage of people. Always good to get second opinions! read more

Took my car into this place because it is right near my house, and I I heard a noise under my car. The mechanics mentioned that I needed new motor mounts and they would charge me $1,300 dollars to replace them. I know a few mechanics myself, so I ended up purchasing the motor mount parts from a reputable parts website called Rock Auto for 170$ , got it installed with a different mechanic for $310 dollars. Turns out when I got the motor mount installed it was still making the same noise as when I turned the car in. One of my motor mounts was in bad shape, but it was not the original problem as to why my car was making noise. Firestone had misdiagnosed my car, or I'm guessing Firestone tried to swindle $1.300 dollars from me for completely different problem that my car was actually having. I took my car in so I can have an oil change and it was also making a weird rattling noise. They called me back and told me what it was. The manager was extremely understanding to the fact that I had gone to a different Firestone in south Dixie highway prior to going to this Firestone a month before. The south Dixie highway Firestone had failed to properly inspect my car after doing a rotation, alignment & having two new rims and tires put in. Point is this manager handled everything incredibly, knowing that it was not his problem to fix but it was the other Firestone on south Dixie highways mistake. Sales harassment at its finest. This company needs to retrain its employees and change the way of doing business as we are no longer on the 90's. Allow me to start by saying that I had been a loyal costumer from this branch since 2008 until early 2017. I have purchased about 20 tires, maintenance :oil, transmission,air filters, cabin filters, alignments, brakes,etc) . My problem started on 2017 when I started taking my car for regular maintenance and employees began telling me that my car had multiple problems involving suspension, faulty ac compressor and electrical problems which none of my two mechanics were able to find... I understand sales tactics which often involve scaring a customer and spitting facts to convince them to buy stuff but customers are more educated and capable to see through lies nowadays... The three stars were awarded based on location, past experiences and the mechanics who work very hard at this location! read more

I went in for an alignment for $89.99, they called to inform me that I needed over $1,000 worth of work to get to the alignment. Bottom line....that wasn't needed and I was able to get the original work done for $79.99. I had a nail in my tire and John was extremely helpful in getting me a new tire and having it put on my car. The Kendall Firestone store had to have the tire brought from another store, but John made sure it arrived in a timely fashion and had it put on my car. John is very helpful, knowledgeable, and Firestone is lucky to have him as an employee. He did everything possible to make my experience as pleasant as possible. The other day I noticed one of the tires became some-what deflated. So I bought my car back to Firestone to have my tire repaired. Manager Juan Carlos Casares couldn't find anything wrong with tire so I suggested to Juan "Fill my tire up, I'll come back tomorrow and will see if it's deflated so you can see for yourself!" With the problem still persisting i stopped at this Firestone and they discovered a problem with a tire. I hate to be that customer to change reviews over and over, infact i did I feel better after my awful experience here after the manager gave me a refund for the over priced tire swap, in which I waited 6 hours..... I understand it will never be the same as taking my car into the dealer but I just did not have the time. Although clearly it would have been a better idea. After feeling some wobble speeding over 80mph I decided to take my car to service at my personal dealership Lexus of Kendall, I was astonished. The alignment on all 4 wheels were drastically off so much so my service manager jokingly asked me if I had attempted to change the wheels myself ! I was ignorantly driving around not knowing how dangerous this situation could have been! They didn't even bother to balance them either like I had asked !
