Don't go here, was there for 6 hours after they told us it would only take 2 hours to get brakes and rotors on the back, 4 and a half of the hours our truck sat in a parking space while waiting. They then proceeded to order the wrong rotors and charged us around $800 in labor for a simple 1 hour job. I just took our car in for a tire rotation, and we sat there for 1.5 hours even though I was told "they'd get me right in." Then, despite the fact that I just had a full inspection yesterday and my car/ tires were 100% okay, they quoted me $750 and said my car was undriveable. There should be an option for zero stars because Firestone doesn't deserve a single star. I went in for new tires thanks to a Nashville pothole. While I was there, I was informed that I needed new breaks and rotors. I was specifically told that my breaks were "metal on metal," and I was quoted an additional $1,100 to fix said issues. I told the serviceman that I'd have my dad fix them, and he actually told me I might not make it to my dad. Fast forward the following weekend, my dad is setting up to replace my breaks and rotors only to realize my break pads weren't even down to the indicator line. It's at this time we learned Firestone broke three of my lug nut covers and failed to mention their mistake or replace them. I wrote to Firestone about replacing my lug nut covers and their blatant dishonesty regarding my breaks and rotors. I received a single voicemail reply from a man named "Mikey," but when I tried to call Mikey back he was unavailable and an email address could not be provided to me. I never received a call back to reconcile. I think it's safe to say Firestone is preying on the vulnerable and taking advantage of anyone they possible can. I won't even say "enter at your own risk." DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. EVER. Even for an oil change because you will come out spending more than just that oil change. The people here are really good at scaring you into thinking there are issues with your car, and even try to sabotage your car. It seems like every time I get an oil change here, something sketch happens to my car within the same week. FIRST oil change - Waited for 3 hours even though I made an appointment. I even called beforehand to ask if it was busy and Miguel said it wasn't. After my 3 hour wait, they tell me that I needed my rotors changed. I said no. All of sudden when I was driving on the freeway, my left tire gave out and looked like there were slashes on it. SECOND oil change - My car seemed okay driving off the lot but the next day, which was my first day of school, and my car just died on the freeway. I couldn't even turn it on. The good thing was that they fixed the problem and my car was able to turn on. This costed my about $1000. The manager also insisted that I needed a fuel engine system cleanse and even though I kept saying no, I gave in and said ok because I thought that this would be the last thing that would help fix my car. That same day, the engine light turned back on. I came back 2-3 times for them to turn it back off and fix it, but the light kept coming back on. I gave up because I just didn't have the time to keep going back and compromising my work/school schedule just for Firestone's irresponsible mistakes. THIRD oil change - I made an appointment with the manager. Even called him the day before. I came in the shop and he said he never spoke to me on the phone even though he clearly stated his name was Matt the manager. Not to mention Steve was one of the technicians who gave me attitude, making me feel unwelcomed and stupid. I let it pass. I did not want to cause a scene. After the oil change, they said I needed a new catalytic converter which was the reason for the check engine light. He said my car's engine would turn red and basically the insides would boil if I didn't get it fixed. AND ON TOP OF THAT, when I drove my car off the parking lot I noticed that the mechanic messed with my springs/struts so my car was extremely bouncy. Every time I go over a bump on the road it feels like the wheels are going to fall off! This was the last straw. I can't even believe I even gave firestone 3 chances. As an ex-customer of firestone giving advice to future customers, please do not go here. They will bleed you dry of money because that is all they care about. They probably saw that I was a small female who didn't know much about cars, so they took advantage. I can't believe the treatment I received, especially from a well-known corporation. read more

I've had the worst time trying to get my car worked on to pass emissions, everywhere I called or attempted to make appointments at said it'd be weeks until they could get to me even for a diagnostic. One place went as far to book an appointment days in advance just for me to show up to it and be told the technician had left, wouldn't be back for a week and I'd have to leave my car until then. I was about at my wit's end with searching, this firestone location was the sixth call of the day, can't tell you the relief I felt when Miguel answered the phone! He was super friendly, helpful, and got me booked for an appointment next day at 8am! Fernando called within a few hours after I dropped off my car and throughly & clearly explained the results of my diagnostic. (I know little more than how to change a flat tire as far as cars go and I greatly appreciated it!) and to top it all off they had my emissions issues fixed the same day! Highly recommend! Lengthy but accurate: The staff at the front desk is very kind and the facility is clean. However, I had an appointment for 8:00 am as they opened. I was the third person in the building and it took 1hr 50 min to get a report on a leak. I know diagnostics take time but I sat and watched my car sit in the garage with little attention. The projected price was around $65 dollars with their estimate when I dropped it off. After almost 2 hours of no update, they say it's a $100 part that needs to be replaced and that it will come out to $300+ after labor as well as another hour to get the part. Internet says the average price for this repair should be around $118 and $132 before taxes and fees. At 10:15 they say only an hour/1.5hr remaining. I leave for errands. At 11:45 I still haven't heard back, I contact the desk they say it's about ready and everything is installed. Running air through to finish. I come back to the facility. 45 more minutes Around 12:20 car is taken out of the garage for drive by mechanic. Returns 12:30. Sits in parking spot. 12:45 ready to pay Total Cost: $334 Time Spent: 4 hr 45 min Management is very kind, however I do not feel that I am getting the best price for the repair. read more

Heard good things about these guys and dropped off my car to get a leaky radiator hose replaced. The estimate floored me but the guy said the parts may come in cheaper. The work was done on time and luckily enough, the parts *were* less (plus I found an online coupon) so my bill was about 20% less than I expected. After I got home I popped the hood to check the fluid level and noticed that the shop had cleaned up most of the leaked coolant that had been on top of the engine! Nice bonus. I love that I just moved from Texas to Nashville and Firestone knows everything about my car and its history, because I went to a Firestone at home! My service light went on a couple of days ago, but I was positive that I didn't need an oil change yet! So I went into Firestone, and they checked it - it didn't need an oil change, but they did top it off for me and told me when I should come in for my next oil change! They didn't even charge me! I absolutely LOVE this Firestone location. They always take such good care of me! Money is very tight for me, but they always make sure I can get what I need done at that moment. They help me prioritize emergencies over "would be nice" options. I've had a couple times that I've even gone to just get something checked out and they've done it for free. Boooooo! We patronize a local Firestone near our home in Florida and have enjoyed excellent service. Last week we travelled to Nashville where, 700 miles from home, the Check Engine light in our Toyota Sienna came on, the engine began running rough, and there was difficulty starting. Not wanting to get stranded somewhere, we went quickly to a nearby Firestone expecting the same quality service we experienced at home. We were very disappointed. The place is immaculately clean and the staff is very friendly. But after explaining my dilemma, I felt I needed to push them to take it seriously. I waited patiently for 3+ hours, then was told, "Yeah, the mechanic thinks it's okay. When you get home, you should take it in for a diagnostic." Are you kidding me? What were YOU doing? I wanted it FIXED, not told all was fine when it obviously wasn't. At their professional, expert recommendation, however, I kept driving it and hoping it would be okay. Not the case. It ran rougher and rougher until I wised up and took it to the Toyota dealership in Cood Springs. Of course, I got there just before closing on Saturday and needed to wait until Monday morning to find out it needed new plugs and seals to the tune of $1G. Toyota treated me great, but Firestone absolutely wasted my time and could have potentially caused damage to my engine by giving me lousy, inaccurate, unhelpful advice. This Firestone location may be a good option for tires and oil changes, but I'd recommend avoiding them for anything more important. read more

They couldn't diagnose a faulty alternator but they also lied about it and invented "other problems"that need to be addressed in another repair shop.They also gave me a wrong code reading and not to mention the fact that they gave me the wrong paperwork after the repair they never made!I looked and it was a lady's name and a total different vehicle listed.The funny part was when they were so sure and convinced about the diagnose they performed..Fail.. I needed a rotation and alignment after popping a tire and these guys went above and beyond to make sure that I was provided the services I needed, and nothing more. They didn't pressure me to get a new tire set(which I asked about for the front two tires) and they were fast. The reason I am taking time to write this review, however, is the kindness that I witnessed from a sales advisor, I believe his name is Fernando based on my receipt. I am used to a certain level of care at auto places because I am white and a female(its sad but its true), but he helped every single person in that store with the same manner, giving them updates, answering questions, and making sure that they knew what they were getting into, and in both spanish and english! I was blown away at his kindness and will trust this store in the future as I know that he must set a tone for the environment that is encouraged. read more

I called before I brought my car in and they said it would be done in 2 hours and it took over 3 hours. I ended up having to bring it back to get my tires because I had to leave. I made an appointment to bring it back, which made no difference at all. They promised me it would be done in an hour and a half this time and it took 3 hours again! My car broke down 3 times in 2 days and I took it to this firestone each time. Each time my car broke down within just a couple miles of leaving the shop, on very busy roads where I could have gotten serious car damage or physical injury. I have now racked up $240 in towing costs, and they also attempted to charge me for the last two "repairs", which seemed to have served no purpose. These people don't seem to give a shit about you or your car. I have decided to cut my losses with them (despite the fact that I feel they owe me money at this point) and have decided to send my car to the trusted local shop Billy's Corner on Murphy road. read more

Make sure you ask how much anything will be before you hand your keys over. I took my car in to get an estimate on repairs to the oxygen sensors. They took the car, performed a simple computer diagnostic (which AutoZone, O'Reillys, or Advanced Auto Parts will do for free) and said it would be $950 to replace 2 oxygen sensors. I declined the service, but they hit me with a charge of $115 for the computer diagnostic. They were unclear up front as to what they were going to do and how much it would cost. I bought 2 oxygen sensors from AutoZone for $350 and replaced them in about 20 minutes with a little help from Google. read more

I left my car there and 4hours later I called to check in and they had said they started on it buy took it down to work on someone in the lobby. I got upset and went back and waited in the lobby. I had a good experience getting new tires from these guys, so I came back here because I was having battery/alternator problems and I also needed an oil change. They ran an electrical diagnostic ($25) and said my battery was drained. So I installed a new battery myself because I had a different brand battery still under warranty and they said they didn't deal with parts outside of their brand, etc, whatever, fine. They also charged me for a full specialty oil change and did not ask permission to change my filter (I asked for a standard oil change). When I brought this up the next day they refunded me $12, which was better than nothing, I guess. My car died again a day later, and I came back and they ran another electrical test and said my alternator was still fine even though my check battery light was on. They said not to worry about it. I finally got fed up and got a new alternator installed somewhere else. I called them up to ask them some questions and they still maintained that everything was good, and that my car was probably "acting fine when they looked at it and there was nothing they could do." So basically I was charged $25 for their "electrical test" just to be stuck on the side of the road. read more

Worst Firestone ever! Took my car here to have a tire replaced that had a warranty on it , it took them an hour and a half to tell me that I needed a new tire and that it couldn't be replaced! Then told me I needed to pay 52$ to replace the tire. When asked why it took so long employee yelled at me in the lobby and got an attitude with me. Don't know his name but he has a flower tattoo on his left arm. Not only this but I decided to leave the store because he was so rude. I went to the other Firestone on Murfreesboro pike, they replaced the tire and gave me an oil change for 48$! I was there for a total of maybe 30mins! He said he didn't understand why the guy was trying to charge me 52$ cause there was no way he could even come up with that in the system.
