Good customer service, I got a flat in the area and they didn't carry the brand I purchased at Firestone on North Main Street, Providence so even though my 3 other tires were still in great shape, minus an unfixable flat, I replaced all four tires. Problem after the fact was, it was raining pretty steadily that day, once the rain stopped I noticed how banged up my alloy rims are now. Disappointing to have someone treat your vehicle like sh1t when you're paying top dollar. My rims are not cheap, but their technician was. Everything needs to improve. They do nothing right! They do not answer their phone, do not ship orders on time, and no longer even send an automated call telling u when your order will ship. Avoid this location. Ordered tires from TireRack and selected this location for installation. Installation was done prior to them closing for the day. They did not return the aluminum tire valve caps. Although returning first thing in the morning the following day to inquire about the reason, we were first told they were "rusty" (which is untrue, given that the car is impeccably maintained) and then were told that we had to "inform them" prior to the tire change if they needed to be returned. Worse than that, upon returning home, it was also noticed that two of the rims were scratched at the edges. Avoid this location - can't wait to return to the Western US where car maintenance and upkeep is performed by real professionals. read more

I brought my Expedition in to have the snow tires put on and my engine looked at since it was acting a little fun. My appointment was for 10:00 we brought it a little over an hour early. I got a call at 10:30 saying they were working on the tires. I called at 3:50 asking for an update....there reply, we haven't found the problem with the engine and we are starting on the tires right now your car should be ready in 1-1.5 hours. I show up at 6:00 and my Expedition is still in the rack all 4 tires removed nobody working on it. It is now 6:45 and still waiting overhearing a conversation between the boss and a worker, the boss telling the worker to call me and ask to have the car left here overnight. This is the second time that they have not found the issue with my vehicle and I will have to take it somewhere else. Avoid this Firestone at all cost! You are better off else where! read more

Came in with two Firestone tires that were not holding air. Had purchased them in Virginia. First tire had a damaged bead, second tire was a slow leaker with no obvious damage. Reid replaced both tires under warranty rather than put me back on the road with questionable tires. He coordinated the work so I had use of my car for business while they tried to fix the leaker. Very pleasant and efficient experience. Particularly impressed with Reid's concern about being sure I was able to get back to Virginia without incident. Thank you for treating me so well. read more

I went there to fix a flat that I recently gotten, they kind of forced me to get all new tires, when I got new tires about 1800 miles earlier. And a week after my engine was running terrible, they wanted me to pay 3200 just to mail it in and have a look, (not even including the cost to fix the engine after figuring the issue) and I wouldn't have a about two weeks without a car. I asked if they did a discount for a college student or AAA members, (AAA recommend the Firestone) then they yelled at me for being a college student, and and rudely said no. I left and found another place that fixed it for 300 and the same day... They replied back to me and asked for details, I gave them details and after weeks no reply!! read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!! I waited over 2 hours for an oil change and a tire change! I had an appointment as well. Did not make a difference. When I asked them why it took so long the smug response was that is how long it takes! They said because I brought in a rental car there were more requirements. My response was that I had taken rental cars for oil changes before and was in and out in about 30 minutes. Their rude response was that the others did not do the job right! It gets worse! I called the day before to get a tire replaced. They asked for the make and model and said they would order one. I finally get out to my car and the tire is a different kind from the others! After asking why it was a different tire from the one I ordered, another guy got in my face and aggressively stated that he said he told me that he would order "a" tire! Not a matching tire! The only reason I gave these hacks one star is because they take US Currency (they require a lot of it btw). Summary: two months to replace a carburetor on a classic - during that time, they sent the first carb back because it didn't run right (it would have helped to have the right spark plugs - which they also replaced). They initially thought the problem was the wires - so they put in a $100 set of wires, and charged me .8 hours to do that!! I could have done that in 20 minutes in my driveway. When I got the vehicle back, the (6 mos.old) battery was completely shot - it won't hold a charge now due to their neglect (turning over the engine again and again without charging). Stay away!! Especially if you need more than just an oil change! read more

Be prepared to spend way more than you planned and double the time if not triple. Originally came in for one new tire and an alignment. My appt. was for 830, my car didn't get in until 9. 30 min later the guy tells me that they cannot do the alignment unless i buy 4 new tires and tell me that the struts are also going. So basically they where refusing to do the service unless I comply. The tires did need to be replaced from was was shown to me so agreed to do it. Another 30 min goes by the guy comes and says they do not have the brand in stock that i had originally agreed to. Just a thought but instead of forcing me into doing something how about you check your inventory first. Magically then there was a choice to get the alignment done and replace some of the tires then come back once that tire was in stock...Funny how that was an option after i already agreed to pay for 4. Anyways I just agreed to a different brand for the same price. I go online to their website and find a $100 off $500 coupon and bring it to the guy... Good thing i did because that took off $100. I find it shady that with me spending over $500 at this point these scumbags didn't bring the coupon to my attention or offer any type of deal since I was replacing 4 tires. The tires where finally all replaced by 1115am. And then the wait on the alignment. The car pulled out from alignment at 1145. Please explain to me how it has taken over 3 hours to get 4 tires and an alignment done. Im not car smart but google says average time to change 4 tires is 45 min and alignment 30-45. What have they been doing with my car all this time? Looking for what else they can find wrong so they can make more money off me?!? My original quote was for $211 and I left here paying $452 (would have been well over $500 had I not found that coupon) 3 1/2 hours is beyond ridiculous to have to wait for something that should have taken 90 min. My colleague, who does not live here usually, got nails in his tires on the commute to work. He said he would stop at firestone to fix the tires, but I recommended goodyear, where they are really nice and trustworthy - he didn't listen. They ended up going into his engine over and over, even though he told them to keep their hands off. He thinks they overcharged him for low-grade tires. It really made him mad when he told them to stay out of his truck, but they kept "looking for problems" that were not there to drum up business. This is a bad sign, I think. read more

Waited by tires in showroom for almost 20 minutes without any help. Only myself and one other customer. One guy hide behind his computer the whole time even though I keep looking over to him for help. The other guy was hitting on a female customer while her car was being serviced inside by a mechanic. The only employee I had contact with was outside after one of the mechanics tried to get into my car with someone else's keys.
