Fantastic service, super nice, and very accommodating! I called ahead to get my kid's tires balanced due to a noticeable shimmy, having never been a customer. Manager said, come on in, anytime, despite my wanting to make an appointment. Next day, I show up at 11:30a, said I was the guy who called asking to make an appointment for a balancing. All of the staff were at max capacity, and manger was looking a bit frazzled. Manager recognized me by my intro. I said, "I'll bet you wish you.." and he finished my sentence: "wished I hadn't told you to come in anytime?" We both chuckled, and he said, "let me see what I can do." He popped his head into the shop, and within seconds, said, "I've got you." Fifteen minutes later, a tech popped out of the shop and asked if my wheels had EVER been balanced, because there was no sign of any weights ever having been there (alloy rims). I said that I was surprised, because Costco had done the install six years earlier, and I had never had problems with their work before. Needless to say, they now ride super smooth, and I have complete respect for the manager and technicians. Highly recommend. read more

I made an appointment a few days ago for today at 9 am. When I arrived at 9:07 am today they told me they couldn't take my car. Someone else came in without an appointment and I wasn't there at 9 am sharp, so they gave my appointment away! I've used them several times before so I guess I should be considered a repeat customer. They wanted me to bring my car back this afternoon, but what the heck! Why would I do that after you just stiffed me on my appointment. Not a reliable business when they can be so cavalier about a basic facet of business - keep your appointments. Took my new purchase in for a check of the front end cause I had a few concerns, seeing it was an older vehicle. The owner place the car on the lift, have it a through check and reported back to me that I am in good shape. Well the vehicle that is. I have was trusted this shop. They are honest, treat you fair and give you a good price. He gave me some tips on how to prolong the life of my bushings and rubber seals, I thanked him for that. After a pretty bad experience at Norwich Town Fair Tires (which I reviewed), I called Groton Tire & Auto. They had the tires I wanted at a good price. We set up a date and I headed there today. It took about 45 mins total. They were doing a good business. Just while I was there sitting outside on a nice bench (although their waiting room inside was pretty comfortable looking), I saw a few walk-ins, a tow truck and some flat fixes. Everyone was addressed and moving right along. On top of my good service and reasonable price, they will rotate my tires for free in 7.5k- that's super nice! I highly recommend them. read more

This place is fast, efficient, and friendly! I would suggest them to others and would return here for my car. Pricing is pretty fair as well. I replaced a pair of my tires because the sidewall was bulging. They suggested a tire with high mileage that suited my driving needs and it only took 4 hours for them to receive the tires and mount them.
