I had them do work a few times and it was OK. But I had a 99 dollar alignment guaranteed for a year. Wornall was a minefield, and I hit a few potholes. Six months later, took it in, alignment was off, they fixed it. Months later, it felt off again and I called for an appointment. Told him the street in front of his store was a mess and I'm sure it's knocked my alignment off again. He sez alignment warranty doesn't cover road hazards, mine is now void. I made him repeat because I couldn't believe it. I said "My warranty expires when I leave your driveway because Wornall is a road hazard?" He said they can't cover it. I got angry and he hung up on me. I called toll free customer line and complained, and corporate made them align my car for free. Turns out it was even out of warranty. read more

Be careful what they quote you. I suggest getting it in writing before they upcharge you 15% for the service after they've already completed it, and then hold your car hostage. Understaffed with only one mechanic on duty. When I called to make the appointment, the manager said that it only takes about an hour for service. I show up and manager asks if I can leave my car until tomorrow evening. I said no and explained that I made the appointment with the understanding that the car would be serviced in an hour. Dropped my car off Sunday, after speaking with the manager on Friday about my brakes squeaking after $700+ brake replacement they did in middle of August. Little did I know that they were over booked and didn't even see my car until after I called around 1:30pm on Monday, Sept 21st. Would've been really nice for the manager, Chris, to let me know this on Friday, so that we could've found a better time, and my car wasn't there ALL DAY! When Chris got on the phone he literally said that brakes are made in batches (like cooking) and there are some faulty parts from time to time. Are you freaking serious?!?!?! So I guess it's okay to ask your consumers to pay a ton a money on faulty parts? Then claim that is why you have a warranty??? Finally they called around 5:15pm and said that the hardware (which they put on) was bad and the tech had driven my car 5 times. Yes..5 times they drove my car. Here I'm thinking..where did they take my car??? Like to Alaska and back? To go to Sonic and get a slushy?? Really? I digress...so during the "first" drive the tech heard sounds and came back to "fix" it. So then apparently hear not a peep in the other 4 journeys to God knows where! Excited to get my car back and go run errands, my roommate hauls me to the Firestone to get the car. Transaction was simple and not an apology on how long it took! I leave the parking lot and then pull up to the intersection of 115th and Metcalf and guess what? SQUEAKY BRAKES!!!! So I spend 700+ to get new brakes which took a day and a half to install because the tech was having a hard time with the install (literally the word of one of the female employees), only to have squeaky breaks less than a month and under 2k in miles. Then to ask to have them look at it and the manager says overnight drop is good (knowing that he had booked all his appointments for the day), then to be upset that they didn't address the issue, which they didn't completely fix, in a timely manner, THEN to be LIED to about "testing" and THEN to have yet more faulty parts. Now as I drive to work (I work 20+ miles each way from house) I notice that the front right area is not braking properly. Should I worry that they beat the crap out of my car to get the brakes back on??? I can excuse faulty parts..it happens. But poor customer service is just not acceptable. read more

Dropped off car on 10/26/20 in the morning for tire rotation , Complete Vehicle inspection , oil change , and courtesy check. Firestone received my car with 3 of the tire pressure monitoring system sensors working showing the PSI in 3 of the tires. After tire rotation , oil change , complete vehicle inspection and courtesy check only 2 of the sensors on the Tire pressure monitoring system where working now. I want to be fair and firestone needs to fix anything they break on my car. I have made repeated attempts to have this issue resolved at Firestone and nothing is being done.  Basically I am being told I have to pay for what they broke. Firestone should repair items they damage or break on my car.  Firestone received my car with 3 working functioning TPMS sensors and it should have been returned in the same condition with 3 working TPMS sensors. Now I only have 2 working TPMS sensors.   Firestone needs to be accountable for what they damage or break nothing more nothing less. read more

Be cautious of using firestone complete auto care at 7050 W. 115th street I spend $5,111,45 over a 15month period and firestone still didn't fix two of the main issues the abs lights keep coming back on they replace all the sensor on my BMW and the last time i've been there with the same problem Abs lights is on again. they said they cant see the problem cause they dont have the equipment to fix it so they suggest to go the dealer after BMW do a complete diagnostic the break sensor is faulty which is firestone should fix it. i will not reccomend this place to fix your car they cannont be trusted. very poor costumer service. especially the assistant manager. I have claim for reimbursement for 910.77 with attached BMW diagnostic for work not completed properly. to date I have not heard back from firestone. if only there's a 0 review i would definitely pick that. read more

Well, bless your heart. It shouldn't be hard to get tires on my vehicle and I, the paying customer, shouldn't have to jump through this many hoops without any assistance. I had a screw in my tire and decided rather than replacing one tire that I should do the whole kit and caboodle. I made an appointment well before closing on Saturday June 25th online for the morning of June 26th. I showed up for that appointment and was greeted by a locked shop with no call beforehand, updated hours online, etc. letting me know that my request couldn't be fulfilled or that this location was no longer open on Sundays. After calling a surrounding Firestone location from the parking lot I was told that the tires I requested couldn't be found in the area at all and that my choices were to order from a 3rd party company (if I wanted to stick with the tire I had chosen) or go with a lesser quality tire with a lesser warranty. I was promised that my original quote would be honored at time of service even though I'm now ordering through another company. Great, sounds okay to me. I can handle a few more days with a screw in my tire, I could live with it if need be as I am within walking distance to my workplace but isn't ideal... so I spent the latter half of my one day off trying to get a tire patched with no avail, had tires ordered from Tire Rack to be delivered before the holiday weekend, and reconfigured my schedule to accommodate for the new installation date. Mind you - I work on commission so my time is my money. What I want to know is why the Firestone website is allowing me to book appointments that are not available in the first place if this has been such an issue with your shop and others? The hours reflected on Google, Apple Maps, & Firestone's website are not accurate to the handwritten sharpie note I saw posted on the front door when I showed up at 7am on my ONLY day off to what I thought would be an efficient service. Flash forward to Monday morning (June 27th) and I am greeted to a phone call saying that not only do I *not* get to keep my new appointment made for tire installation on Friday, July 1st but that I cannot be helped until the following week. Greaaaat - not like I have plans to go out of town for the holiday weekend or have a screw in my tire or anything. I understand that you are short staffed and that there is a holiday coming up but the lack of care and customer service I have been greeted with multiple times with this company and this particular location over the past weekend is enough to make me want to avoid you all together. What should have happened? Call around to another shop and see if I could be accommodated in a timely manner or at my initial requested time, etc. Now not only have I spent yet another chunk of my day reconfiguring everything with a NEW Firestone location (who graciously understood my situation without explanation and could get me in at my new scheduled date) and spent time on hold with Tire Rack for reconfiguring delivery, but I'm sat here writing a review to warn others that they're in for their own mess of a situation should they choose to schedule with this location. How many more hoops do I need to jump through to give YOU my own hard earned money? Get your $hit together. We purchased a lifetime alignment from Firestone on all 4 of our cars. Since we keep our cars for several years and we have 2 teenagers, this is a great deal. This is good at any Firestone, and there are several in our area, but this location is our favorite. They don't try to sell us services we don't need and are relatively competitive on basic repairs and car maintenance. We have a mechanic in Lee's Summit we use for major repairs, but this place is good for routine maintenance. read more

Took my 6 month old tire in with a slow leak. They claimed the nail was too close the side wall to repair so it needed to be replaced. On top of that they suggested I buy 2 new tires so the sides were even because they would have to be replaced soon anyway. After taking it to my usual place, Mr. Tire, I was shown that the nail was an inch and a half from the side wall and was very fixable. Immediately fixed for $15 and told I shouldn't need new tires for at least another 6 months. My tires also have a replacement tire indicator which was completely intact. firestone incomplete auto care i 7050 w 115th street, overland park, ks 66211 i had an appointment on 9/9 to do a complete vehicle inspection and an a/c inspection. i was quoted 19.99 for the complete vehicle inspection and 42.99 for the a/c inspection. what i received on 9/10 was my keys slammed on the counter, no paperwork on the complete vehicle inspection and lies about the a/c inspection. this location used to be awesome when mike was the manager but not anymore. save yourself time and frustration and find a different location. i recently bought a 2000 grand am and the a/c only worked on the highest setting. i pulled everything apart and cleaned the blower motor out since it appears a mouse was living in it. i pulled the resistor out and it was totally blown. the resistor was replaced with a brand new one and it still didn't work on speeds 1-4. so i was hoping that the wires/relays/switches would be tested to fully diagnose the issue. that is what i was paying for with the a/c inspection. does this resistor look like it is blown? i dropped my car off on 9/8 for my 9/9 appointment that never happened. i was told it will be looked at first thing in the morning and then got a call at 8:00am the next morning. dawson says that the resistor is blown and it is $150 to replace it. i explain to him that there is a brand new resistor already in it and by the way it is all laid out for you so that the mechanic is able to easily inspect everything. why is it $150 to replace this? you plug in the new resistor and put two screws back in. i asked to speak to whomever looked at the a/c hoping that they may have gone a little further and checked other parts of the system and was told, "the mechanics don't talk to customers because they only get paid when they are working on cars". don't go to this location. they are not professional and i have never been treated with such disrespect. when i went to pick up my keys, dawson just slammed them on the counter and said "here you go". he didn't offer to give me any paperwork from the inspection and of course there was no paperwork on the a/c inspection. let's be honest here. you never looked at the a/c. you had my car for two days and you chose to keep bumping me to work on other cars when i was the one with the appointment. i can't believe you had the nerve to try and sell me a resistor for $150 when there is a brand new one in there. i was hoping you would actually do the job advertised so that i can find out what is wrong and fix it but you chose to not even look at it and then lie to me about what is wrong with it. to the mechanic that "can't talk to customers" stop bitching about your job and find a new one. you will be doing everyone a favor. be honest next time and do the right thing. tell me that you don't have mechanics that can diagnose the a/c right now and don't schedule the inspection. to the corporate office, you should probably take a/c inspection off the list of services available at thisw location. these people are ruining this store and your brand. you need to make some changes. read more
