Called ahead the day before to schedule- got in the next day. Was told around 2 hours for oil change and alignment. Walked in, front staff was fast efficient and super friendly! Dropped off the keys and headed out within 5 minutes! My friend came and got me and dropped me off at my house & around an hour later or so, my car was already done. I always deal with the same guy when I go there. He's super nice, but I am terrible with names. I've never had an issue here. If you look at the numerous reviews of Firestone "Complete" Auto Care, you'll see the stars only average between 2.5 and 3 stars. There are numerous reasons for this as stated in the reviews by very honest hard work people that want to share their experiences with everyone here on Yelp. Now, I placed the word "complete" in quotes...you may ask, why did you do that Joel? Maybe just a little sarcasm since it's important to get my point across to anyone reading this review. The word complete has an underlying meaning when dealing with Firestone "Complete" Auto care....the negative connotation and my interpretation is the "complete" refers to their attempts to completely include as much into the service/bill that they can. For example, a female customer asked for front brake pads...sure Firestone stated they would do a "complete" inspection....of course, we already knew the pads needed to be replaced since another service was performed only a few weeks prior and the brakes were already inspected. This shop calls stating that the rotors also need to be replaced. Not falling for this tactic, the car was taken to a shop with "Integrity" who did an inspection and stated only front brake pads would be necessary, not rotors. Let's do the math, two shops only stated pads needed to be replaced yet Firestone's "complete auto care was unethical and untruthful and tried to prey on a returning customer. Which brings me to the other word in their name..."Care"....I don't think they care much. Do yourself a solid and take your vehicle to a shop that you can trust. I have the lifetime alignment on my car and it is a great deal if you keep a vehicle like it do. Going on 9 years and can't see getting rid of the Rav4. Today I came in for breaks. Made an online appointment. I worked with Maya and she was awesome. Gave great customer service, answered my questions, showed me options and kept me informed along the way. The only work I've gotten done here is related to my alignment since I got the lifetime alignment for my vehicle when I lived down in San Diego. Most of the work done on my car I do with a friend of mine. Alignments are free though with this service so I can't really comment on anything else. If you plan on having your car for a long period of time, I would highly suggest this service since well... I've had it for almost 5 years now and I guarantee that the service far outweighs the initial cost. The couple of times that I've been here for that though, the service at the front has always been helpful and informative. They do the checks and inform me of the different issues that my car has aside from the alignment, and have been pretty spot on for those. read more

Waited about 2 hours for them to tell me my tire was cracked??? My car was sitting on the stand the whole time until I went to go ask and turns out it was already done but they hadn't told me. When the guy told me, he basically told me they couldn't help and told me to go find a tire somewhere else. I recommend going to H&H down the road. Recently moved back to California from Hawaii and needed to do some servicing on my car. I'm not oblivious to certain things with my car, so the experience I had with this location really blew me away. This location by far has the best price if you want to have someone change your oil for you, although I typically do my own (haven't unpacked my equipment for an oil change, my reason for going here). After completion of the oil service, the rep at the counter told me that it was crucial for me to get a new battery as they had tested it and it was on the verge of dying. So I drive my car over to autozone to have my battery tested. Sure enough, the battery is 100% fully charged, & says good battery. I took a photo at the local autozone of the battery tester and have attached it to this review. On top of that, when I got under the hood, I noticed the large oil stain on the top of my engine block. I did go back to the location to have them clean it (I had just spent 4 hours the same morning detailing my car). Even then when I went back it seemed like it was such a hassle to have to do that for me. I would love to continue to do business with this place, as I do have some work to do on this vehicle. But I won't be coming back here if this is the type of service I'm going to receive. When working on heavy machinery you'd can pretty much plan on a little wait but you know you're getting out of there safe when you're at Firestone. I recently bought a used car that came with 2 new tires and come to find out there was one that was "fixed" tire that was leaking air. I would refill the air pressure and over a couple of days the tire would leak. The TPMS would keep alerting me and I did not feel safe driving. Anyway, I brought it in to get it checked on short notice and I ended up getting 2 new tires and an oil check because the car needed it. I thought I was going to have to come in on my day off but I get real lucky because the gentleman that helped me was very nice and knowledgeable and the guy in the maintenance area was really nice too. And I got to take a nap while I waited in the waiting area. I can fall asleep anywhere and I'm glad no one bothered me because I was exhausted from work. So I came in around 3:30pm without an appointment and I was out of there by at least 5:00 pm. I usually take my car to the dealership but I know I would have waited half a day minimum. I was able to make an appointment for the next day but was running late and called to rebook for the next day- they accommodated me and the service did not take longer than an hour. They just take way too long every-time. There intentions are good. They bite more than what they can chew. Good service. But They never meet the time they say. Im always waiting longer than what they say. And they let walk up non appointment customers first before your car has even been touched. For example i dropped my car off for tire rotation they said 45 min. So i come back 1 hour and it hasn't even been touched i wait another 15 minutes nobody updates me i just sit there. Smh. . Called this Firestone today to see if they'd replace our basically new tire that we got from Firestone less than a year ago. With our luck the same tire (rear driver's side) had a nail in it again. We found out from the dealer as we took the car to Honda for an oil change. The lady checked our info and since we didn't purchase the warranty on the one tire that they wouldn't help us out at all. We basically would have to buy a brand new tire. We really wanted to get all new tires because the other 3 haven't been replaced yet. The lady was just very nonchalant and unhelpful when we called in. Both my husband and I spoke to her and she gave us a quote for $790 to replace all 4 tires. We then went to the Firestone on Marconi and Fulton and they were much more customer service oriented and gave us such a better deal! They threw in that tire for free. We got brand new tires today with lifetime tire rotation and tire warranty on all tires all for just a little over $400. Go to the Firestone on Marconi and Fulton! Not this one. read more

We took my son's car here for a rack & pinion issue, which took (4) visits and the car was never right. First visit, they kept the car overnight, never called the next day to say it was ready, even though we told them several times our son had to leave town by 3. He gets the car back, $1600 charge to fix it. On his drive back home to Turlock that same day, he hears a scraping noise. A piece of plastic cover from the undercarriage is dragging the ground. He notices that rather than placing the screws back they tied it with zip ties. Fluid still leaking Following weekend, visit (2). Takes car back in they say they will fix it, meanwhile it is still leaking fluid. The car is supposed to be ready before they close that day, no call. We call right before closing, they say "oh it will be ready tomorrow, we will call when it is ready". Thanks for letting us know. We did not hear from them so finally we called around 1pm and they said it would be ready by 2. Following weekend,visit (3). Car is still leaking. We took the car first thing in the morning and mentioned this was the 3rd visit and we wanted the issued resolved. It was paid for and yet still leaking. We drove by Firestone (4) hours later and the car was still in the same spot we left it. It was not being worked on. We decided to find a number and called the Corporate office. The corporate manager advised us to take the car to the Marconi location (where he was covering a store) and his mechanics would resolve the issue. Next day, visit (4). Picked up car at Marconi location, issue seemed to be resolved. But not for long....3 months later the car is no longer drive able. Long story short...the manager Jonny is rude and deceptive in our experience. He and the staff tell you whatever just to get you out of the store. They take your money and do awful, unreliable work. The manager of this Firestone is unethical. I brought my car in because I thought my battery was going bad. I received a phone call telling me that my battery was in fact bad. I approved the new battery because I was told it was no good. When I arrived to pick up the car I asked to see the print out for the battery test. The test showed the battery was good. I told them to put the old battery back in . I did not need a $160 battery the battery terminals just need to be cleaned. The Manager was upset that I wasn't getting the new battery. I believe in honesty and integrity in a auto repair shop. This isn't one. read more

Highly recommend! I was stranded with a couple girlfriends on the way back home from Tahoe and got towed to this shop; they fit me in on a very busy Sunday and tried to fix the problem. When they realized they couldn't get the part that it needed they helped us figure out how to get home and held onto our car keys so that we could set up a tow home the next morning. I had an alignment done at this store $125.00 vech felt fine as I drove a few months later I spent $1300.00 on new tires I notice I had a little wear on 1 tire . I had the dlr ck front end and stood there and watched the upper ball joint was causing the tire to move in and out . so I called fire stone and got a quote for lower ball joint and upper .1700.00 for lower and he state he would ck uppers and free align . I check around oreilly / Napa/ auto zone 2 lower ball joint $120.00 labor from serval shops $450.00 for both installed does not include align. on Amazon eBay complet control arms wet 89.00 each new with ball joints and bushing included . I gave over 45 years in business as a tech / auto center owner / corp level Dist mgr parts and service dlr ship ect. Prior ASE cert lic Vic auto instructor . this is the biggest rip off since Donald trump lied about the election and turn traitor against the USA .me and a friend change out all for ball joint in 4.3 hrs cost $240.00 6 pk of bud light . I would not recommend Firestone to carry Duck shITacross Folsom Blvd . I must have been one taco short of a combination plate the day I bought that fancy German car. Looking back I realize signing up for $100 synthetic oil changes is just plain stupid. Thankfully I found Firestone's 25% coupon online. They allow you to take advantage of whatever promotion is currently going on in addition to the coupon. So $100 - 25% = $75 - "$10 off any oil change special" brought me down to $65. Best deal I've ever found for an oil change. AND the helpful (and easy on the eyes) Ryan me let me know I can go online anytime with my receipt for a quick survey for another $10 off, plus all the other deals. Score! Excellent service for a very low price. I left not hating myself as much for that taco-less combo plate. read more

I've came here for spark plug/wires replacement and oil changes, and they do what they can to teach me more about how to maintain my car (2003 Ford Windstar) and quotes on future repairs I need done. Completely dishonest, terrible service, totally untrustworthy. Find somewhere else. I went in for an oil change and ended up being quoted over $2000 in repairs, spark plugs, tires, and leaking water pump. I obviously declined their service and took my car directly to the jeep dealership to have it inspected, the mechanic at the jeep dealership told us the water pump was cracked and had to have been damaged at the firestone during our oil change, he said the water pump would need to be replaced along with the serpentine belt which was now covered in coolant. I called the firestone to tell them what the jeep mechanic told me and the manager gave me the run around like you wouldn't believe. I told him I'm just telling him what the dealership mechanic told me, he basically called him and me a liar and told me I'd need to bring it in to look at if I wanted anything done when he knew full well it was currently being repaired at the jeep dealership. I asked him what the jeep mechanic told me to, why didnt the check engine light come on? Why didn't they notice the serpentine belt was also ruined? He came up with every excuse in the book to attempt to evade responsibility and said he couldn't do anything over the phone if I'm not going to bring the car in. He even said this is what happens when you take the car to multiple mechanics like I never should've gotten a second opinion. When I asked for my oil change to at least be refunded he said he wouldn't do that and we had nothing else to talk about then hung up on me. I dont know if they thought they could be disrespectful because I'm just a woman or what but I called them back and told them were to go so they know this review is coming. They'll probably respond with a bunch of excuses and try to make me sound like a Karen but whatever, just don't go here if you want quality reliable service. I appreciate that they take appointments, but for people that work during the week they are not very accommodating - no appointments after 4:30? Really?! Even after I call and specifically ask if there is time to take my care after work, they usually only have on tech in the shop later in the day. So, it will probably take an hour or more for an oil change. I was almost tempted to go to Jiffy Lube down the street and get their 7 minute oil change for $10 more. However, I'm a cheap ass. So, I sucked it up and woke up early before work to get this fluid flushed. I took my grandma's car to get an alignment it was free since she had the lifetime alignment. When I walked in I was greeted instantly and thats where it started going down hill. When I told him I was there with my grandma's car he started to question me as to why I brought it in and not her. After a few minutes he decided I was ok signing the car in. He asked me if I was going to drop it off and said that dropping it off was the best. When I told him I would wait for it that I had my tablet and my phone I would be ok no matter how long it took. I sat down on the bench that was extremely dirty I can tell it used to be red but it hasn't been cleaned in so long it was more black than red. If it wasn't so cold outside i would have went and sat outside the ground was probably cleaner. Both the entrance doors were open and I started to get cold so I git up and shut the doors as soon as the counter guy came back in he opened both doors again. I dont know if he was trying to freeze everyone so they would either leave or drop their car off. When I got home and looked at the inspection paper the mechanic did he recommended a cradle shift and I don't know what that is or what it does but I was not talked to about it. Ill give them 2 stars because the service was fast only about 45 minutes. read more

I have no complaints, and am happy with the service they performed on my car. Had a lot of work done, and due to it being busy, there was a very long wait. However, this is the reason for the four star rating. My Goddaughter was spending time with me, and we had to spend about an extra two hours longer than I had originally planned. There was stuff spread out already for kids, and a tv on. The staff then went a step further, giving her a whole stack of paper, pencils, and pens so she can do what she loves: draw. I stopped into this Firestone to get a nail pulled out and patched back up. A simple process and the guys were as nice as could be. Well I was pleasantly surprised when I saw an amazing (my opinion) magazine selection. The one title I was stoked about was Inc. Magazine, it's about entrepreneurship. Also they had TWO, yes TWO, flavored syrups for coffee. Despite their coffee being a few hours old and cold, psst it was 2 PM, soooo it was more my fault for drinking it. On the flat screen TV, better than the one I have at my house, was Queen Latifah Show, which was good in it own right. At this point I am not sure I was in a hurry to leave. BUT after about 30 minutes of waiting my butt was getting sore bc their seating was sub-par. This is why they get a one star deduction, get better seats and you are a 5 star in my book. Went to the store to have my car around 2pm to be checked (because of a hissing sound when driving) and an oil change. Was advised it would be done by 430 but i dont have time that long, so i decided to just leave it here for the night and just pick it uo the following morning Morning came, around 745 i was told that there was a scratch on the rotor and a nail on my tire. Wish I was told the night prior to decide if i woukd like to have it fix. Now it would take about 2 hours to have it fix. I am glad I did not get the work done as nothing is wrong with my alternator. The two representatives were rude and dismissive. When I picked up my car I asked for a receipt and the representative looked at me like I was casing her problems and told me check your e-mail and turned away from me. I suggest making an appt before you go in though, its not like jiffy lube there is only 1 or 2 oil changes going on at once. A homeless man who was a stranger to me walked up to me and started rambling onto me about his life and random things, the staff saw this and the employee came out to tell me my car was ready - even though it wasn't quite yet - in order to help me out of the situation. My friend had a flat tire and we tried to open it ourselves, however one of the nuts got stuck and we had to drive it to this firestone for a replacement at first they told us it was $115 then called us to tell us that the nut is stuck and it's going to be double the price to unscrew that nut. They really tried to take advantage of my friend. I was telling him that and he just ignored me and didn't care. We took it to another shop and they unscrewed that nut without no problem and no additional charges. read more
