I almost let the reviews scare me off, and I'm so glad I didn't because this Firestone team was SOLID from start to finish. Called ahead because my battery decided to start acting up right before Memorial Day weekend, because OFC it did. Yohon answered the phone and immediately gave "we actually know what we're doing here" energy. Quick, professional, no nonsense. Verified battery was in stock and it's was Kismet! :) I pull up, walk in and and enter Gladis, she greets me; Absolute sweetheart but low key if paperwork had a final boss, it'd be Gladis. She had everything handled w/ my fleet company before I could even stress about it. Calm, professional, and on it immediately. Enter- the Tech Eryn. He installed the battery faster than it takes some places to even acknowledge you exist. Like walks in with mic drop energy - " Ma'am car is ready". Well ok then Eryn - So awesome these 3!! No exaggeration, I think I was in and out in like 15 Mins. Seriously though, this team was great. 1 star I am posting an additional review because Firestone management has still not provided any meaningful follow-up or resolution regarding my formal complaint, Case #2977465. I filed the complaint on June 12, 2026, and followed up repeatedly. An area manager eventually emailed me, and I provided a detailed written timeline explaining what happened, why I had lost confidence in the Galloway Avenue location, and why I was requesting a refund. Since sending that response, I have not received a substantive decision, status update, or further communication addressing my concerns. My primary complaint is now the administrative handling of the matter. Customers should not have to repeatedly pursue a large company for basic communication after reporting a serious service problem. Even when a company disagrees with a refund request, management should acknowledge the documentation, explain its decision, and provide a clear resolution. The continued lack of follow-up gives the impression that Firestone's complaint process is designed to delay rather than resolve legitimate customer concerns. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Galloway location, and I have serious concerns about Firestone's regional management and customer-service accountability. read more

The employee admitted at the scene that he couldn't see past a truck parked on the side of the road but still pulled into traffic, causing the collision. The police report clearly states that the Firestone employee was at fault. However, after 20 days of no contact, Firestone finally reached out--only to deny responsibility. They claimed they found themselves not at fault, despite the police report. We've now been informed that Firestone is self-insured, meaning they can unilaterally deny fault without going through an independent insurance company. This leaves us either having to take legal action or use our own insurance to cover damage caused by their employee's negligence. Be aware: If you use Firestone's services--or even just travel near their locations--understand that if something goes wrong, they may not take accountability, even when the facts are clear. I went into Firestone on Sunday to get a simple Full Synthetic Oil Change. I had previously made an appointment for 12pm. I got there, and it took 2 hours 40 minutes to do my oil change! That is ridiculous especially since I made an appointment. Then, I drive home and hear and screeching noise under my car. The shield underneath my car was completely hanging off and scraping the road! I couldn't believe it. I call Firestone back, and they didn't really seem to care too much. They just said to come back and they'll put it back on. Drove back to Firestone, and they told me I should go to the dealer instead to get it replaced... but they're the ones who broke it? I said no, just put it back on the way it was. So they did... with tie straps. That whole process took ANOTHER 2 hour 30 minutes of waiting!!! Not even kidding. This was on a weekday when they told me they would be less busy. Awful experience, and I wouldn't return here. I wouldn't have even left a review if they apologized once or acted like they cared about my situation. They were apathetic about the whole thing. Too busy apparently. read more

TEACH YOUR EMPLOYEES WHAT IS REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I got there at 8:05am, there were 3 people ahead of me. I stood for 45 minutes (I use a cane for my bad back and standing is not good for it) all the while there were service techs sitting playing on their phones and others wandering around doing nothing!! That was bad enough but seeing as I had just been there 2 days ago concerning my 10 month old battery being DEAD AGAIN I was not happy. They finally replaced the battery but wanted to CHARGE me $21 for scraping the poles!!! I refused (I'm on a very tight SS only income and more worried about paying my rent next month or be homeless). Bill said he could wave that if I applied for one of their credit cards!! I said I don't want that and next thing I know he has used my ID to fill out most of an application and said sign here then you can cancel it!!! Fortunately I got that canceled quickly (they seemed used to doing this). Then as the younger woman is handing me my keys and stepping way too close to me as she explains that this "new" battery has no warranty she is forcing me out the door!! I get in my car turn the engine on and the Check Engine light is on. I flagged the guy down that worked on my car and he says it was on when he charged it, like it's no big deal!! They did finally admit the original battery was defective so I don't understand why the replacement hasn't got a warranty? Did they even give me a new battery? I hate this place. My single female relative took her vehicle to Firestone to have her AC checked. They agreed and kept the car overnight, telling her they would start work on it first thing in the morning. The next day they hadn't done any diagnostics on the cooling system and explained that they can't check it without vacuuming the system and using a dye. They told her that her engine oil was below the minimum and that her tires had 4/32 or less of tread, and provided quotes for draining the engine and an installing a new set of tires. She had had the oil changed just a week ago and was sure it was fine. She checked it herself, and the level was near the full mark. She took it back to the shop that had done the oil change and they confirmed it was good. The tires do need to be replaced, but the rest of the experience was a waste of time and created some serious doubt about staff competence or integrity. read more

You set an appointment and they tell you they need to change the appointment time. You show up to the changed appointment and can't park in their terrible parking lot. You still wait hours and hours despite changing your appointment for them. They don't complete the oil change properly, don't admit to it, so you have to pay for diagnostics to be done to find out how they screwed up and determine that they did in fact screw it up. You are out over 300 dollars for an oil change. Congratulations! A great place if you hate money and love your life to be more complicated than necessary. Go literally anywhere else. read more

Sorry, but when a tire store can't get the pressure right in your tires for our last two services, leaves your inside windshield a greasy mess and has to call the mechanic who must have run off to lunch because the wheel lock key was not in the car at pickup, I'd say quality control is NOT a priority. read more

I patronize this location regularly. Today, I've noticed a whole lot of nubies. Not sure what's going on here but it really SUCKS! Incompetence is real, when the very issues I inquired about, they told me I needed to have done, when the work was already completed by another shop. Wanna talk about a bunch of stupid individuals. Have a lifetime alignment warranty. Every time I go in these guys try to upsell me on different things. Sometimes I'll be waiting 2+ hours for the alignment not to be done and that I need to buy this or that. The reviews over the years always say the same thing. Upsell upsell upsell. Well, 2.5 years later and they are still sketchy as hell. Took our truck for rotate and alignment check. Got a call later that day saying rear brakes were no good and need replacing right away...ok, I'll bite, how much? 650.00 NO WAY. Girl responds with, we have a 70.00 off coupon, no thanks again I'm taking it to Ford for an oil change next week since they are over 30.00 less and I will have the brakes inspected there, ok she says truck ready. 10 minutes later I get a Call from "manager" they can do the brakes for 399.00 today only! Asked him if he was Monty Hall and was this let's make a deal. My plan was to just have them do the rotate and alignment check forever but it appears they cannot be trusted and I will be going back over to Firestone in Rowlett. Firestone in Rockwall gives Firestone's everywhere a bad name. UPDATE 1/21 I took the truck to Rockwall Ford, brake inspection confirmed rears were real close and fronts about 25% remaining. Had front and rear rotors turned, new pads all around and a full synthetic oil change all for 341.00 confirmed my thought that Rockwall Firestone is trying to rip off unsuspecting customers...Shameful! read more

They told me that they could look at and repair my tire, if it was repairable, within the hour. So, I planned to sit it out in their lobby. 2 hours later, they started to look at it. All the while, 6 customers came and went. I understand if your busy, but watching the technician spend equal amount of his time on his cell phone as his tasks was frustrating. I have an account with Firestone, and have been a customer for over 15 years. I've been a repeat customer here for several years because they are flat-out honest and professional. Back in the day, Firestone's were a little iffy but this place more than makes up for the past. They frequently have great discounts and the prices are already reasonable. And several times, they have fixed little things for me for free. I'll keep coming back because I have too many damn cars and I save money here. The fact that they are actually trustworthy is icing on the cake. Please check you car before leaving the lot!!! I drove it off the lot and I heard a loud noise. I stopped and the tire liner/cover that protects between the tire and engine was wrapped around my tire. I had some repairs done and they said they did not take off the liner/cover off from under the tire or engine. It had to have been removed to do the repairs and was not put back on. I went back and they denied that it was removed. Now the entire liner/cover from the engine is hanging from under my car. I will tell you I have never had any repairs to my car with the exception of oil changes, so yes you did remove it and did not put it back on properly. So now I have to spend more money to replace it, after spending 800.00 in repairs. Update: called me super quick and got it fixed super quick thank you read more

If I could choose ZERO stars, I would've. I didn't expect firestone to be a company that would rip off customers like other auto shops. Granted, in the past I've only used them for oil changes and replacing tires which has been great, but anything further, never again. Case and point: I had them do an inspection to determine the cause of squealing coming from the rear (I assumed brake pads) When they finished the inspection, they were insistent that both the pads and the rear rotors needed to be replaced and that the rotors were too close to rotate. The cost would be right over $400. At the time, all I wanted was the cause and had no intention of having the work done that day. I had a friend who does a lot of work on cars and agreed to change them for me. When he took my tire off he said my rotors were completely fine and they could be fully rotated. He swapped out my brake pads and told me to return he rotors. I can only assume that firestone would've charged me for new rotors but would've left my original ones on. read more

I rented a minivan from Enterprise Rentals and drove from CA to TX. We were visiting my brother-in-law in Rockwall and we hit some roadside debris off I-30. The damage was too close to the side of the tire and and so it needed a new tire. This was a rental and so Enterprise sent us to get the tire repaired. Firestone is a licensed repair for the fleet and we took in but Firestone needed authorization from Enterprise. I waited 2 hours waiting on Enterprise, NOT Firestone, to get a repair. I called the corporate offices and so did the young lady working the counter. Big shout out and kudos to Aleks Kljaic who helped me with the process. She did everything right in calling and following up with Enterprise even through Enterprise really dropped the ball. I was with my diabetic son and without his insulin so we needed to get moving to get his meds and Aleks worked a miracle. She could have easily said we can't don anything but she took the initiative to help a stranded customer. I don't live in the area but I would highly recommend this facility. They are quite busy but very efficient and work quickly. I would certainly ask for Aleks and will definitely hit a Firestone when we return to CA. Thank you again. I will not have anything nice to say about Enterprise rental cars however. read more

I wouldn't know how their service is because I couldn't get my car in for an oil change even after trying to schedule an appointment online during one of their "available" times. Don't bother wasting your time trying to schedule an appointment on their website. Once you pick an open time online and fill out the form, it sends you an email saying they received it and that you will either 1. Receive a confirmation email saying your appointment has been confirmed or 2. Will receive a phone call if they can't get you in during that time slot for whatever reason. I received neither one. Since there were other places nearby I decided to drive up there anyways to see if I could get in for my selected appointment time. When I told the guy I never received a confirmation email or phone call, he looked up my last name and sure enough it was "blinking" and they just didn't see it because they were too busy. I scheduled it at 7:55am before they even opened. So how they didn't see it for 5 hours, I don't know. And of course, even though I came in 5 hours before closing, they couldn't fit me in for a basic oil change. So I went 3 minutes up the street to NTB and even though I didn't have an appointment, they finished my oil change 45 minutes later. So I will be bringing my car into NTB in Rockwall from now on. read more

Welcomed by Aleksandra and immediate attention was provided. In at 0900 and out by 1030 with a full lifetime alignment on my 97 Dodge Viper GTS. Services provided were impeccable, friendly and a very knowledgeable staff. New equipment and awesome care was used to put my "beast" back into proper order once again. Drives like new !!
