I got my alignment serviced here and bought the lifetime alignment a couple of months back. I came in on a Monday to get an alignment check and they told me they were busy. I was planning on dropping off the car, but they recommended for me to do an appointment for the following day and was told that the whole entire day was open. I made an appointment for noon. I came in at the agreed time of my appointment and sit in the lobby and then after 45 minutes I noticed that my car is still parked in the parking spot. What is the whole point of doing an appointment if they are not going to respect people's time? I asked them how long is my car going to take and reminded them I had made an appointment. I was then told that my car was next in line. Currently sitting in the lobby filling out a review because this is very frustrating and will not recommend someone to come here and waste their time. read more

Don't bother coming here for an oil change unless you want to put up with their ridiculous up sell of unnecessary car repairs. I brought my car in for an oil change. They told me my state inspection was due and they could handle that for me. My inspection is not due for another two months....its right there on the sticker! Then they told me I needed two new back tires plus rotation. I drive a 2013 car that had brand new, top of the line tires put on less than two years ago at Discount Tire....who also rotates them for free every 6 months. Sometimes I wonder if they just assume we don't know anything about our cars? It's so insulting. I will never return to this location, or any Firestone for that matter. read more

I took my car to the fire stone off of Lavon three times. All three times they fail to adjust my alignment correctly first time I left with the steering wheel crooked, came back the next morning, left still slightly crooked. I was busy, couldn't come back so I went to work as soon as I had a chance I came back again third time they blamed it on the tires, try to blame it on everything else. I insisted that they check the alignment again they check the alignment told me that there was nothing wrong with it and then so I took the car and I left. This morning I took it to fire stone off of Lakeview Parkway. Daniel was able to align it, straighten my steering, adjust the alignment perfectly within the first attempt. He show me the paper everything was completely off. So I have no idea what fire stone off Lavon was saying because clearly the alignment was completely off. Either they don't care or they're just incompetent. Either Way, Lakeview Parkway it's just a couple minutes down the road. Take your car there. Took my car in for oil change and was upsold on diagnostic. Nothing was explained. It took nine hours to get my car out of service. They didn't have my estimate for the egr valve replacement I requested. They didn't seem to care about my vehicle. Also, I didn't get a new oil dipstick I asked for. They told me to go to autozone. I have no idea how much oil is in the car. I was told I will get a call regarding the estimates. I am not happy with the service. After being happy with the service for years, I will go elsewhere now. read more

I went yesterday to get an oil change at kwik kar next door. I said I had a low tire and they said they didn't do tires. After they were done they showed me the tire and confirmed it probably had a nail. I went to firestone to get the tire fixed. The manager was okay. I'm in retail and I get the up-selling but I also had just bought the car and knew I has just had an alignment and my tires were fine. He first tried to get me to get an alignment. Then he said my back tires had not tread. He said I should replace the back two as I wasn't going to last another two months on them. I declined and he gave me another quote on back tires. I declined and he gave me a third. I was very polite and told him I just didn't have the money but thank you. After that, another guy came and got me to show me my tire. It was on the ground and the valve sensor was broken. He said it would be 124 just to get the part. I said put a plastic one in then. He told me that my light would stay on in my car. Although I am a woman, I'm not stupid and I knew what they were doing. I had just seen the valve at kwik kar and it was fine. After I went back inside he asked me if I wanted to go ahead and order the sensor. I said I will when I get the new back tires. He replied that I had plenty of tread on the back tires... I looked at the manager and he acted like he hadn't heard him. They gave me the sensor and went home and showed my boyfriend it. He is a mechanic (motorcycles) and could tell immediately what had happened. We went back up there later that afternoon. They would not take responsibility. They said they showed me before they touched the tire which was a lie as it was on the ground. I called customer service and I'm expecting a call back from the district manager. The rep called the store and the service manager said my boyfriend came in a few minutes after I left and cursed him out. We came back three hours later. My boyfriend was fine until he told him that they hadn't touched the tire and basically implied I was lying. So my boyfriend called him a prick and left. Regardless stay away. As I was waiting a guy came in who didn't speak English very well and the manager tried to take advantage of him so bad. Luckily the guy didnt let him. read more

I had a great experience at the Rowlett store this week. I needed 4 new tires, they were ordered, delivered and installed quickly, along with an alignment and state inspection. The manager was great and worked with me on the tires and for me in and out in just over an hour. Strongly recommend this store. read more

Spent over $2000 on my Dodge to rebuild front suspension and put on new tires. Less than 3 months later truck was back in with SAME issues- vibration. Took it back to Firestone and was told the tires were "chopping" again. Left it there and it took 2 weeks of calling daily before they finally agreed to cover the tires under warranty and put on a new pair. When they looked at the front end- they had just completely redone 3 months beforehand-said they could not align the tires properly anymore. In a matter of time it was going to chop up the replacement tires-again. Why did I pay $2000 for you to do the work if you cannot warranty it? I also paid for lifetime alignment! Told me to take the truck to another shop or back to the dealership. Did not refund the work completed- only the tires ruined by their poor workmanship. Took to another shop very close by and was told that bushings were not replaced, some were missing and they failed to address others issues that would have easily corrected the problems I was having all along. read more

Firestone Complete Auto Care 3604 Lakeview Pkwy, Rowlett, TX 75088 I've written very few reviews in my lifetime...I only write them when the service is extremely GOOD or extremely BAD. I'm extremely disappointed with this Rowlett team. I'm a Firestone account holder for over 20 years now and have frequently used them for basic things such as oil changes and tires. Since moving to the area and having one within minutes of my residence, I've begun to use the Rowlett location for more than seven years now. I've also noticed that they rotate teams, so once you establish a relationship with a team, at some point a new team comes in and you have to start the process all over again. My recent disappointment was when my wife took her vehicle in for a routine brake check while I was out of town. After returning home, she described her horrific experience. She was given an estimate for a brake job (over $1,200), and when she declined, the service attendant got an attitude and became 'forceful' with up-sell tactics. After she declined a second and third time and telling them that she lives only 5 minutes away, he made her feel that her brakes were so bad, that she would not make it home. He painted a verbal 'picture' that when she went to deploy the brakes, that she would not be able to stop. This was very scary to her! She immediately called a personal mechanic and had the vehicle checked by him...there was nothing wrong with the brakes! Yes, there was a little pulsation when she applied the brakes, but nothing that resurfacing the rotors couldn't fix ($100 parts and labor). This is not an isolated incident...it personally happened to me about two years ago, but again, I don't normally take the time to write reviews. The Firestone worker literally got a real attitude when I asked for a specific set of tires for my car while he was attempting to sell me a more expensive set. I've been a Customer Care Director for government agencies and major corporations for over 30 years now...the up-sell tactics and soft-skills of the this team leaves much to be desired. I do understand the process and pressure for a business to make money. Much of their profit is from up-selling services to customer when they bring their vehicles in...I've worked with clients and accounts and I understand it well. I know that these guys are mechanics and their skill-set is not in customer service, but they act despicably. Customers are supposed to be able to trust their recommendations based on their knowledge, experience and customer concern. They should NEVER lie or exaggerate the truth in order to make a sale...especially when it scares the customer. My wife told him that she was calling her husband, and she did call me. If the representative was acting with integrity, he could have asked to talk to me...I'm very sure that he had my account up on the screen in front of him. Bottom line is...the bad attitude when a customer declines work and the shifty tactics used to acquire up-sells are totally unacceptable! I would venture to say that the response would have been different if it were a man. I come to this Firestone anytime I'm in town. Usually I always wait to get service done until I come into town and I come to this Firestone, because of the exceptional service by the staff and wonderful work done on the vehicle! You can trust the work done here! Casey is the manager and she is absolutely wonderful! She is very knowledgeable and she makes sure that you are getting exactly what you want and you're getting bang for your buck!! All in all I would recommend this Firestone to anyone and everyone! Customer service was terrible. I just went in for an oil change and the worker named Rachel B. Kept telling me "no no no" when I told her I don't need any other work done to my car, because my mechanic will take care of it. They tried to get me to purchase stuff for my vehicle just for an up charge, when it turns out I don't even need anything done. Just moved to the area and brought my truck here for a standard oil change mostly because I received a 19.99 coupon in the mail. First, I was told that the coupon could not be used because the vehicle requires more than the 5 qt. limit on the coupon (instead of just charging me for the additional 2 quarts like other places do). Secondly, the employee told me that the oil change would be around $90 because my vehicle requires full synthetic oil to operate. I am used to the synthetic sales pitches you get every time you get an oil change, but she assured me that I would be damaging the engine without it. After questioning her several times about it I agreed. Come to find out later that not only is there no requirement to use full synthetic, but it says right on the oil cap that either can be used. I know I got what I paid for, but I still feel that there was some dishonesty in order to upsell me. There is some shady business in this place! read more
