Awful. Had a noon appointment, drove 30 minutes and showed up 15 min early, for an alignment. Was told it would not be over 2 hours, which was already ridiculous. I used to work with mechanics and it takes 15-20 with an average mechanic. Tristan the manager even told me "we aren't busy, it shouldn't take long." I sat at a nearby Chick-fil-A for two hours? Returned at 1:55pm to see my car sitting in the same place I left it. Asked if it had been touched and Tristan said "no, we got busy after you left." He clearly made the decision to help those who came in after me. That was his choice. If they were busy before I dropped my car off, I would've been more understanding, just disappointed since I made an appointment the day before. Travis obviously is playing favorites with his customers though. The only solution he gave me was wait another 2 hours or book another appointment for another day... I'd say terrible service and customer service but they wouldn't even give me any service. I would avoid this shop at all costs. They're untrustworthy. If you cannot trust someone to preform a service you reserved and paid for, why would you ever trust them with (probably) your 1st or 2nd biggest asset? I work in the auto industry and used to own a business, this was what I told all my staff, "if they don't trust us, why would they trust us with their 1st or 2nd biggest asset?" Do yourself a favor and find a good mechanic, I know it's difficult, but don't risk ruining your investment by bringing it to those who do not care. read more

I called ahead to make sure they could do a brake job. They said they could, it was a Sunday, so I went over. It was my work van, that has been lifted many times before. They saw all my tools and parts. The guy working the front desk asked if I could go somewhere, take out some stuff, and then they could do it. He said there's too much stuff in your van. Me, being from out of state, couldn't just go home and empty out anything. He literally told me, and expected me to believe, that "as soon as they lift my van and take off the wheels, the van will fall backwards." Honestly don't know how this place functions on Lola's days off. She is the backbone of this location and the only reason I continue to come. The men here would be hopeless without her. The car service I receive is always hit or miss. Lola, always gives me phenomenal customer service and makes sure everything is correct or fixed before I leave. I also like the convenience of the firestone account for making payments. I frequent this location for oil changes and other minor problems. I'm usually in and out in under an hour, but occasionally I'll get stuck here for 3-4 hours at a time, even though I've scheduled an appointment. Their website claims they have a coupon for $50 off per axle on brake pad replacement and free rotor resurfacing. However they claim they do not have the machinery to resurface the rotor and said I have to pay them to replace my rotors. What they quoted me on the phone was $315 for front and back pad replacement and at my appointment they quoted me $415 for the 4 pads and $400 per each rotor. Again they refused to just replace my pads even after i told them im not replacing my rotors. read more

Very friendly staff, however, my experience was not that great. Dropped my car off (12pm appointment) to get four tires mounted and balanced. The shop called me three and half hours later to say their electricity went out and my car was not serviced. I decided to bring the car back the next day after work and give them another try. I left work early and dropped my car off at 4:30pm for a 5:00pm appointment. I received a phone call twenty minutes later informing me that the tech could not get one of the lug nuts off and if they force it, the stud might break asking me what I wanted to do. Informing me that if the stud breaks, the repair starts at $200 but they could install three of four tires. My husband showed up to try and manually loosen the lugnut for the tech and had no luck. They said I could bring it back on Wednesday for another tech to try and get it off if I wanted. I don't know if improper use of the impact wrench cause my lugnut issue, but I am not impressed with the level/experience of the service available at this location. Oh, and after I paid for three tires and got in my car to drive away, I noticed the PSI for all of the tires had different pressure readings. (39, 38, 37, and 34) read more

This is place is the WORST!! I made an appointment for 10, I dropped my vehicle off early at 0930. I brought it in for Tire rotation, to check the lights, and to look at the trunk I was having issues opening/closing it. I gave them a call at 1100 just to follow up, the guy that answer the phone said they were running behind, they hadn't gotten to it but they'd get to it and give me a call. No more than 30 minutes late he gives me a call and says the trunk brake light is broken, I need to take it to the dealership to get fixed. Which okay...no worries...it's outside of their scope. Then he says...we are done you can come pick up your car. I'm like okay...Mind you...my car had a warning light for the tires on! I go to pick my check out...and the guys like okay...thank you. He gives me a little brief and charges me nothing!! I'm like...UHHHH...it's free?! I'm like did you rotate my tires? He's like...yes! And then he tells me what size tires I have and the PSI of them...DUH!! BUT DID you FUKIN ROTATE THEM!!! FIRESTONE?!! TIRE PLACE?!! I get in my vehicle...it's parked in the same spot that I dropped it off in...which is shocking...bc this parking lot is packed!!! And guess what?! The Tire PRESSURE LIGHT IS STILL ON!! So I call them!! He says...oh...I think my guys just forgot to reset it, pull around. I'm LIVID!! I pull around! And one of the guys doesn't even realize what he's supposed to be doing!! Normally, this is a really good service spot. Today however, it was horrendous. First, I was told to come in to mount tires on my Kia at 5:30 PM. However when I arrived, I was told my tires aren't available. Then, the price that I was quoted was much HIGHER than the online price. The attendant Chuck, didn't believe me until I opened the website and showed the out the door price advertised on the website. From that point, he became combative. As he was printing out my quote, I confirmed whether the alignment would be checked as advertised on the website. Once again he began to argue, and once again I showed him the website. Lastly, since my tires weren't here, i decided to leave my car and step out for a little bit. I asked for some paperwork of my work order, but Chuck and another tattooed comrade rudely told me that there is nothing they can give me as evidence that I'm leaving my car here. This felt more of a street hustle than a respectable tire brand. I'd love to see what prices they charge women who come in here. I love Firestone normally, so I'm very disappointed at the terrible level of service in the Sterling store. I asked for the manager, since I'll be damned if I'm scolded by two attendants for requesting a publicly advertised service. I was told there is none available. read more

Lola gave me good service. I did my research before coming in for tire repair and discussed my issues and options. When I asked for a cheaper tire model I knew about than her recommendation, she had no attitude and gladly found a similar option. I asked for rotation too and it was performed as requested. The entire staff had a generally fun and light attitude. I missed my early morning appointment and so my entire service from walk-in to departure took about 2.5 hours which was reasonable for diagnosis, alignment, one tire repair and one tire replacement. I'll be back for my lifetime alignment with them. Only thing I wish was that they carried rims. read more

This place was great. Sunday afternoon, before going out of town the following day, and my check engine light comes on. Since it was a Sunday, so many places were closed, closing or completed booked. I called Firestone & spoke with Lola, she listened to my situation, and despite being just as busy as other local places was willing to squeeze me in before they closed. I arrived at 330 (closing time was 5). They weren't able to bring my car bk at 515. I was grateful for the simple fact that they were willing to even look at my vehicle. (I even noticed they had finished another vehicle right before closing hours. As the owner left, he most have noticed something, called them and they told him to bring it right back to ensure everything was okay. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE) Thomas was the mechanic on duty. He told me that from what he can tell, at the time, I needed a small part that I should get from a dealership and replace myself. This was recommeneded to be done before he would run a full diagnostics which would have cost me and ultimately might not give an accurate reading. I appreciated his honesty and felt they were not out to get my money. He knew I was going out of town and let me know my options & the best route to go. Upon returning to town, I saw my regular mechanic for a follow up and though he was skeptical as of why Firestone instructed me the way they did, his outcome inspection was the exact same. I appreciate Lola & Thomas for their patience and great service. Thet want to ensure their customers are safe & satisfied. Once they told me that parts arrived I set up another appointment, brought car in at 8 am. They had the car for the entire day, but never got to it. Bought a tire pressure sensor for my 2013 BMW 335. They said they did not have the equipment to program it for my BMW but never said that it would not work at all. Went to great falls auto right across the street to re-program (they have the equipment to re-program). Turned out that it was the right part but the equipment was defective (dead battery). Great falls Auto set me up with the right sensor. Came back to Firestone to see if they would take it back and give me a refund for the defective equipment that they sold - they outright refused. read more

Service advisor Jose is a dishonest crook. Very rude to my wife. Went in for our lifetime alignment agreement and Jose made up issues like "sway bar and bushing" were too worn. We took it to the dealer the next day and they laughed at Firestone calling them a scam company. They certified the sway bar and bushings were in GREAT shape. I then went to a different Firestone and didn't mention my lifetime alignment and they performed the service without an issue. As I was leaving I told them the whole story. Discovered a flat tire after finishing up at gym at 0645. Luckily this store was in the same plaza and opened at 0700. Lola at the counter was informative and helpful specifically with time estimation. I came in for them to switch flat tire for spare. However they were able to repair/patch the tire. Saved my day. Doug was the car technician that worked on my car. I walked around store to garage bay to personally shake his hand and thank him. Their provided service was superb. Sam was very professional and promptly identified the reason for my appointment. March 13- called and scheduled a brake service for 10 am. Dropped off vehicle. 3:30 missed call from Firestone. Called back at 3:45 and they said work would be done by 5:00. Arrived at 5:00 and the work was not done, proceed to sit in waiting area until 6:30 (mind you, they close at 5). During my wait I got to see the crew make fun of a person who lost their keys, smell the fun aroma of marijuana, listen to the crew's really really cool really really loud music, and see an employee hit on a customer. Vehicle done. March 18- commute home was going well. Suddenly I nearly die/nearly get into an accident as my left front wheel stopped rolling altogether. Side of the road waiting for tow truck for 3 hrs. Tow operator arrives and as vehicle is being secured he examines the wheel and notices the brake caliper wasn't screwed on, this why I almost died. Vehicle towed to Firestone and they were alerted to the issue. March 19- 8:30 am call from Firestone to say they would take care of my vehicle and apologize for the incident. I try to say as little as humanly possible because I'm not really happy with anything about my "service" up to this juncture. 2:20- they call to say that work was complete and I could pick up vehicle but they are waiting for a tire to come in later in the week. I arrive to pick up vehicle. As the manager was getting my keys to me I hear loud -crack- -CRACK-crack. My 6 year old son went to service bay window and says that something had fallen. Ok. Im getting in my vehicle to go home and I hear another Crack-crack-CRACK! This time I smell burning gun powder and realize this cool work crew was setting off fireworks in the service bay! I confronted them about it (angrily I admit). So, these unprofessional weasels nearly get me erased from existence by not installing my brakes properly and now they are messing around and blowing off firecrackers at 3:00 in the afternoon inside a place of business. Great customer service. I had a tire that was leaking air and took it to them. They found the leak and fixed it but there were two other minor leak as well. It's against the rules to put more than 2 repairs on the tire. So the tire could not be saved. They did not charge me a nickel for the repair or for getting my spare out and putting it on my truck. Needed a tire repair due to a nail in one of my tires causing a slow leak. Read a Yelp review and figured I'd go here. Called ahead and asked for the price of a tire repair and was told $19.95 or $19.99 (can't quite recall). Got the job done and the bill was $30 (parts $5 labor $25). I called the same day I brought my car so I doubt there was a sudden price change. Not the end of the world, but the way I see it is if you can't give an accurate price for a simple car shop job like a tire patching then you won't get a 5 star from this Yelper. Just FYI for readers, a tire repair will usually be at least $20 and should be no more than $35. I have done plenty of them myself, but sometimes time is worth more than money. read more

Terrible. Called ahead to see if they had a part to replace the U-Joints, the guy said yes, just come on in. Got there, terrible customer service, I ask for the technician to ride around with me to hear the noise, so the front desk guy goes back into the shop and him and the tech are verbally fighting with each other. Meanwhile, they tell me they'd have to order parts. Finally get the tech to ride with me and he doesn't know anything about cars. I've been working on my truck and learned from mechanics since I was a kid. He try's to tell me it's something else and they can't diagnose the issue. Terrible customer service. Stay away from this unprofessional place!! I dove 10 miles to get to this place and had a confirmed reservation, which the store had confirmed with a confirmation number in an email. The lady at the front desk was unwilling to look at my confirmation e-mail and claimed that I did not have any reservations as she had already called all the morning reservations. She finally found my reservation when she reluctantly decided to look up my reservation on the system. Then she insisted the only oil change my car can have is full synthetic one and not the $19 oil change that I had reserved. Neither the car manual nor any of the previous oil change I had done, required a full synthetic oil change, but she wanted me to spend $89 or the orange change instead of $19. read more

Came here to get new tires and an alignment, ordered the tires the day before online and made the appointment online, asked them to let me know if transmission fluid needed to be flushed. As I waited several other customers were told services couldn't be done on their vehicles because this part was missing or that part wasn't functioning properly (didn't think much of it). When I checked out, I was informed that I had no dipstick to check my transmission fluid (my father-in-law checked later that day, and I did in fact have one). Then as I began looking at my tires, I noticed THEY DIDN'T INSTALL THE PROPER TIRES! THEY DIDN'T EVEN INSTALL THE SAME BRAND! No one notified me that other tires were used or discussed the other tires with me. This place is a joke. I came to Firestone because that is where I went while living in Missouri and they were always so reliable. This place is not. read more

They seem great at first. I was having a few things looked at. However, a day after something was not right with my car. It kept making a sound from one of that parts they had taken a look at. I called, the girl that answered told me that this had nothing to do with what they had checked. I asked to speak with a technician, I was told there was none available. I was also told there were no appointments available for me. However I just wanted for them to take a look at what may have occurred to my car during the visit. Again, I was told this was not something that could have happened there. That I may need to take my car to the dealership. I requested to have one call me back when available. Person said yes that she could definitely have that done for me. I never received a phone call. I called the next day and was told the same thing. That there was not an experienced technician, that I would have to make an appointment or that I would need to take my car to the dealership. I would definitely not recommend this place.
