I've now put 500 miles on my 07 tahoe and just had the Chevrolet dealer do a multi point inspection. Everything checked out fine which is always a relief when buying a used car. They told me the truck was well taken care of! I definitely recommend this place for buying a used car but you MUST FIND VINO! This place is a joke I got my car in September 2016 it had scratches they said they would fix it would be 2 days well then it turned into 4 maybe 5 mins u I work and have 3 kids and a rental was expensive they said they would try their best to get it done quick well I'm sure it sat on their lot until the day it was ready they got over spray on my windows and running board paint drippings all over and mostly on the spots that were not even painted or needed paint, now I need a whole new paint job. read more

Paid off my car in less then a month, trying to seek reimbursement from the gap insurance. Turned in all paper work needed. Spoke to Cynthia over the phone, she has no customer ethics. States the gap insurance is out of business and it's taking time for them to reimbursement my money and now there is a cancellation fee of $50 and other. I was never told this when I turned in my paperwork. All they said it was going to be pro rated. Customer service sucks when your trying to seek any type of reimbursement. Waste of time. If you there's no room for negotiation on a 2011 vehicle with 88k miles - TELL ME THAT BEFORE I SPEND AN HOUR IN A HALF GOING OVER THE CAR AND PAPERWORK. I was told the price was negotiable FROM THE START especially since we drove from San Diego we for a vehicle of a lessor price on their lot (Anthony assured us there was room for negotiation before we even drove the car). The finance manager tries to get me to pay registration fees because they he couldn't take the time to scoop over the car we were going to buy and its registered till Feb 2017. They want in and out paper work and no discussion, I'm sorry a sharpie on a piece of paper for my "final price" doesn't work. At least draw up actual numbers to give me a cost and work from there. They did everything to help me get financed since my credit is fairly new it was a very big obstacle for me to get financed. Vino was our sales person and he was very nice since day 1.... (ASK FOR HIM) I have not had any problems with my car, I went last week to get it the regular oil change at the toyota dealer and I was told that the car is in exellent conditions ( wich I knew) but it was nice to hear it from them =). Just wanted to report the poor level of service by Abraham at 1st Choice Auto Center in Garden Grove. I made an appointment with Victor to see the Sentra on Friday 5/26. I was able to arrange to see the car on 5/25. Called to make sure it was available and Abraham said it was and would tell Victor when he came in to have it ready and took my phone number if anything should change. I am driving in from Ventura County. Get there and Victor is with a customer. Talk to Abraham and says car Is being inspected because engine light came on but never called me. Did not tell me why he didn't call and no apologies. Said "I thought it was here" was his only response along with trying to sell me another car. I attempted to sell my car to this dealer after they contacted me from a Craig's List ad that I had posted listing my vehicle for sale. They did an inspection and test drove the vehicle. The offer I was given was $9,500, which was well below what I was hoping to get for the car. They told me that they could talk to the "boss" and see if they could do a little more. They kept me waiting for at least ten minutes. Ordinarily it wouldn't have been too big of a deal, but I didn't have childcare and had my infant with me. Plus, I had already been waiting for awhile for them to do the inspection, run the vehicle history, and make the initial offer. After I let them know that I would need to leave soon to feed the baby, they told me that they were waiting for a call back from the "boss". Soon my baby was crying and I began to leave. As I was driving out of the lot, the salesperson came out and told me that they could pay me $10,500 for the vehicle. That was still over $2,000 below Kelly Blue Book value for my car, and my Carfax printout estimated my vehicle to be $700 above retail book value. But I was having trouble getting a buyer with that kind of money from Craig's List. So, I thought about it and agreed to that price with the sales person. But, by now, it was already pretty late in the day and I had to take care of the baby. I told them I could come back the next morning to sign everything over. The only problem is, that when I came back the next morning, suddenly we were back to square one. They kept me waiting and told me they needed to wait for the "boss". After several minutes I felt like they were just being shady so I just asked if they were going to give me the amount they had offered of 10.5. The salesperson held his phone out as if he was talking on it and told me that he was going to, "try to get me 10". That was all I needed to walk out and not waste another minute at that dealership. read more

I found a car on Craigslist that 1st Choice had. I had trid a few places that had the type of car I wanted and they were one of the last ones I needed to look at before making my decision. As a precaution I applied for preapproval online. I received a call that day requesting additional info and I was preapproved the next day. I went in at 7 pm on a wednesday and by 830, I had a test drive, traded in my old car, haggled a little over price, signed everything and was out the door. 1st Choice Auto Center GG website looked professional, sad to say was just a mask. Normally when I yelp its only for good reasons only, but total disrespect that they showed not only to myself and my wife I had to say something. We did an online application which scares my wife to begin with but thought hey they look trustworthy. My wife sent her information and with in 24hrs like it says on the website a salesman called asking for additional information so she gave to him (Ben) and said he will take care of the rest everything should be fine. We after no return call from Ben my wife decides to call in a receptionists answers and after explain to the receptionists Ben is out sick Ben must be the only salesperson there is why no one called us back to say if she was approved or not. Receptionists said she would have the Salesmanager call her back right after he is done with the customer he is attending to then it has been 24hours from this dated post. 1st Choice Auto Center you should be ashamed of yourselves for not attending to your customers like you stated on your website. A simple no we don't care about your business would have been acceptable. So people before they ask you to do an online application be careful what they are doing with your information. We deal with a personal bank so we have someone helping us at all times you may not be so lucky. Bought a srx 2013 0n 11/30/16 they were all nice smooth transaction, Hamid treated us right as well as David in finance. The only problem I have is the CUE doesn't work and we had to take to a dealer to have it checked out and the CUE is dead not responsive. It was obviously not working and not brought up to us. Had we known would we buy it ? Prob not I bought a new car for the perks and for 27 thousand dollars I expect to have a radio and nav I have nothing now for the next 4 months since these CUE's from Cadillac are back ordered. Highly disappointed for this inconvenience! When we told the Cadillac dealer we just bought it he shook his head and said they had to have known. It was in there lot and gets inspected no one else test drove it?and didn't notice? I said Hamid went to try it he said it's probably Not touch screen. So I decided to go personally and check if the car was still available. The first person I talk to was really helpful... Got me interest so I decided to go a second time with my info to see if I got a loan for the car. It when smooth the fist day but we didn't quire finish since it was Sunday, On Sunday we both agree on some terms and a down payment to start. It past Monday n Tuesday morning I received a txt telling a was approved. So later that day I went with all the info and a Second person help me... Felt really awkward!!! He ask me about the car price? N mentioned it was way cheap... I said "I saw this at internet n they agree n even I just came to sign the papers since i was aproved. Well the worse was about to happened this guy that I don't want to say a name ask me for more money!!! Telling me that I need more down to get approved... I was nope on Sunday we agree with a down payment m no body said anything until now that we are about to sign the papers!!! I was really upset since I Think they are no man of words....They should of call me telling me that need it more money for something.., So I decided to walk away n look for my car some where else... I first contacted 1st choice about a car I saw on the internet , I kept in contact with several questions, I first talked with Ben, who was helpful, even though I told him I would check other resource over his answer to my questions, I told him the price was way too high, and offered 1000.00 less he said he needed approval for that I waited, asked him to text me the answer. He did his boss approved the price of 9999.00, so I asked to speak wirh finance person , who took my information, I didn't hear back if i was approved so I call they approved me, I said I would call back soon as I could to come in will the paperwork be ready, He assured it would I only need the down payment and proff of insurance sign and go,I confirmed the interest with him 699% Then there was Vino, he said he and Ben would be partners in this sale,he answered the phone on the last ph call prior to my leaving to drive there to finalize everything Vino did answer one last question for me the condition he thought the car was in his words excellent. We drove there, They treated me like they knew nothing of the agreed amounts and terms, denied the price reduction, i said I have text they wanted to see it , I could not pull it up on my phone and Ben denied everything. they kept asking me ifI was paying cash, I just talked to you and got approved for the loan at said interest, he said yes but I can't let the car go at that price, I drove 59 miles to get here I made that clear that all terms had to be worked out before I came to see car and actually signed papers. H e left us sit 30 minutes while he conferred with the other sales people, came back and still went back on there agreed on terms. So I left, that is not customer service ,not honest or up front. Don't buy your car from here! They sell lemons! Bought a 2010 Chevy Camaro back in December of 2016 from this place and they sold me the extended warranty. Ever since have had issue after issue with this car. Check engine light, airbag doesn't work, fuel injectors have had to ALL be replace and now also the catylic converter and fuel pressure sensor. When I spoke with the dealer about this last issue they now want to take no responsibility for the issues and say it's our fault for putting so many miles in the car and that we probably put in ARCO gas that causes damage to the car! Very bad customer service. Our sales person Hamid stated to me that they could not help us in paying any of the repairs as they made very little profit on this car! Unbelievable. David in finance was no help either and not considerate at all of our situation. We put down $3k on this used vehicle and have made all our Payments on time and this is their response to us! We just discovered within a few hours or CUE radio nav is frozen and can't get it to work it's stuck on static station. We were told by David to take to dealer. Cadillac dealer said its broken have to order new one back ordered 3/4 months wow we are driving it with no music phone or directions what a joke and they had to have known when we bought had they explained and been honest it round be different. DONT BUY HERE!!!! IF I can choose to put no stars I would. We bought a jeep from this dealership with a warrantee for transmission and engine. When we got the jeep home we noticed an oil leek that was dripping in our driveway. We called the dealer because the warrantee said they pay for half the cost and we have 30 days. They kept saying that they would call us back never would. Then they wouldn't let us take it to a mechanic near us and we live 3 hours away. So we dropped it off at the mechanic they told us to take it to. 2 days later apparently the mechanic doesn't know where our jeep is. We contacted the dealer and they some how got our jeep. What the hell! That's illegal. The mechanic was told to call us with what they were going to do on the jeep, never contacted us we had to contact them and they said they "Fixed" the check engine light. Still the oil leak is not fixed and is sitting at the dealership we first bought it from and we never consented for our jeep to be there and they said they were going to take it to another mechanic!!!!! Seriously this is so illegal but we live 3 hours away and work during the day. We almost filed a missing vehicle report. I would never ever buy another vehicle from them. OH and they told us if the bill is to expensive they will not pay for any of it and the salesman tried to tell us that the oil leak was not from the transmission and engine. Does he not know cars at all! That's what runs the transmission and engine, stupid! We have had nothing but issues and I still have my jeep back! So if they don't pay half of the bill for fixing the oil leak in jeep which is coming from the engine, then it would be a breach of expressed contract! They have been a headache since we first bought the jeep!!!! WARNING!!!! Then they have the nerve to tell my partner that they are doing this of a courtesy! are you kidding me. If I don't get my jeep back and the oil leak fixed and half paid for I will be suing this dealership and all parties involved. Also will be involving the police and filing a report. They offered me a vehicle at an amount, two days later when returning they could not find the quote sheet and the sales person was not available. So I explained what their price offer was and conditions, fixing the four dents. The new sales person (the original sales person partner, according to him) went to the sales manager and the price he cams back with was $500 higher. After going back and forth with him and the sales manager for thirty plus minutes, we got to the price of the original offer. Then when I reiterated the terms, amount and fixing the dents, he said the dents were not included. This was again very disturbing. By this time the original sales person became available and he played dumb in not knowing where the original quote sheet was but assured me (obviously with no authority) they would do the deal at the price and fix the dents. After the sales manager looked at the vehicle, said no he could not sell it to me at that price and repair the dents, BUT he might be able to make me a deal on another vehicle. If I wanted another vehicle I would have been looking at it. All contact with them lacked moral principles and standards of a profession. Stay far away. read more

Do not give this auto center any business! We chose our car from them and it needed to have the air conditioning checked because it was not working properly before we bought it. As we signed all the paperwork, we were under the assumption they were taking care of the issue. As we were ready to leave, they had done nothing to fix the problem and their mechanic had conveniently just left for the day. They opted to refund us $200 to have the problem fixed when we got home. (We are not from the L.A. area). Two days after we got home with the car, the paint started chipping in random locations and it started having electrical problems. Then the fuel injector went bad. After several hundred dollars in repairs, I am hopeful the car keeps running. Then, they had the audacity to send us a bill for the car registration fees even though when we bought the car, they charged us for that fee! They are a bunch of liars that do not disclose the truth about the cars they sell and they want to keep taking your money after the sale is complete. Do not trust these people!! read more
