I tried First Class Pizza for the first time last night. I walked in off the street. I ordered what I believe they called the Sweet Pig. It was canadian bacon and pineapple. I ordered a large pizza. It was a little pricey at $21.00 but was well worth it. The pizza had high quality toppings. The canadian bacon and pineapple was fresh and had plenty of it. The cheese is very high quality. I gave them 5 stars because the pizza was the best I have had in a long time, the toppings are generous and the staff was very friendly and had my pizza and out the door in 15-20 minutes. Toppings on top of toppings on top of toppings! I do believe this place gives you great value for your money. Not the best pizza I've ever had, but certainly something out of the norm. I like the concept of overwhelming toppings, but when traditionally eating by hand it can be difficult and messy. Most of the toppings don't stay on the pizza and stumble around everywhere. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere! Kids enjoyed it so of course the adults will. Pizza was FULL of fresh toppings and we loved the taste and texture of the dough. Pizza was not greasy at all. Prices are very reasonable especially for family meals. First time here and will definitely be back since we live nearby. Already planning future parties here. Another plus is lots of TVs to watch sports and events. They did forget to bring out an order of wings and we had to remind them a couple of times about it, but it finally came out and they also gave us a free beer and dessert to make up for it. Heard such great reviews of this place.. and since my bank is nearby, I'm pregnant and in dire need of food STAT, I thought I would check it out.. I get that I came in during the afternoon when it is totally dead, but you would expect their food to be fresh. The slice of pizza I ordered was, at best, warm.. and extremely greasy..(I wish I had snapped a pic before giving it away.) It took 4 napkins to get off most of the grease.. They keep pizza warm by placing it in a spinning warmer that reminds me of 7-eleven pizza. Then--I watched the guy make my salad and he literally grabbed the lettuce to put in my salad box WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS, AFTER HE HANDLED THE MONEY FOR MY ORDER----wtf?! And you're in the restaurant business??? C'mon... Needless to say that grossed me out.. I took 2 bites of my pizza before giving it away and literally threw out my salad.. $12.96 down the drain.. read more

Didn't know such a great pizza place was right around the corner. Dough is a bit thicker than NY style, but nicely chewy texture to it. Toppings tasted fresh on a lunch slice with the works. I have a love/hate relationship with this place and I'm going to list the things I've experienced that kinda aggravate me and then their redeeming qualities. So I've ordered pizza from first class several times partially do to me being in a sort of pizza delivery "black hole" where I live an no other mom and pop places delivering to my residence. I've had pretty much every ordering experience tarnished by my pizza coming late or cold. And I'm not one of those constant complainers. When I say late I mean 2 hours +. When I say cold I mean cold. Each time there has been a valid reason and I understand these things happen. I just wish they would stop happening when I want pizza. The saving grace is that the manager of this place has stepped up and fixed every order personally and taken care of me by driving my replacement pizza + extras to us (a few times free of charge or at a hefty discount) and it's been delicious every time. I've pretty much decided that from now on I will request this manager and place my order through him directly since he now knows me and knows the troubles I've had in ordering in the past. The one thing I wish this place would take notice of and correct is the issue of topping on their specialty pizzas falling off. More cheese should be integrated into the toppings to bond them to the pizza so they don't all fall off when you pick up a slice. Reading my review I really hope no one sees these as fatal flaws. This place takes the motto "the customers always right" to the next level and the flavor is there. Customer service rates very high in my book. I'm giving 4 stars because I'm going to keep ordering from first class and hope that I can get a couple flawless ordering experiences under my belt so I can edit my review and change it to 5 stars. read more

About 10 years ago I was introduced to probably the best pizza I ever had in the San Francisco bay area (Bravo's). Since then I've been searching and comparing pizzas throughout the Los Angeles area only to be disappointed over and over again. Today I unexpectedly tried First Class Pizza after a meeting at work (compliments of Mike Thomas) and was completely blown away by the flavor and freshness of this pizza. I couldn't believe after all these years I've been searching in the wrong county! The pizza is fine; if they remember to bring it to you! Waited 24 minutes when nobody else was in the restaurant and then went to the counter to find out that the pizza had been sitting in a box because they didn't know what to do with it. The pizza was soggy and I had to argue with them to get a refund, because "the manager wasn't there" but then they all of a sudden were able to do it without the manager (they said it will take 2-3 days and I don't have an email from Square, so I have no idea if they actually did it, however). I like their pizza but I won't be coming back with service like that. read more
