I set an appointment with service to stop by and get the key. When I got there service told me I needed to leave the car with them for at least two hours. I said for a key and they said yes. I left the car and came back later. When I arrived I signed the service form and the service person just said okay. I said where's the other key. He said in the car and turned away. The parts department didn't pick up and their voicemail box was full. I called 3 more times and same thing. I ended up driving down and purchasing the part for $50. Watch out for the Honda Civics air conditioning problems. I have both a 2017 and 2018. The 2017 had an issue two years ago, which they did replace under warranty. Now its in the shop again for air issues. Within 1 hour of drop off, I received a call from Honda asking me if I want to buy a new one since there is an issue with the air?? hummm, made me think they were going to call me next and tell me a huge sum to pay to fix it. Yup, they did! Over 2k. This is a car with under 45k miles second time with air issues. Same with the 2018, they werent going to cover until I complained. I had accidentally bumped a curb which had somehow broken or dislocated my washer fluid line. I went in for my service which was free within the first year of my lease so I had asked if it were possible for them to simply take a look at the washer fluid line too. John was very friendly and helped with the team to go above and beyond to get a speedy fix on my washer line to my surprise in combination with my tire rotation and oil change all an hour sooner than anticipated. I'm happy to make the drive back here for all of my future services for my lease and I will be happy to make my next purchase here as well. Service manager tried to scam me. Our 2018 Honda Accord has a recall to replace the fuel pump module because it may have an improperly molded impeller. The manager told me to bring the car in and that I would have to pay $189 for him to "test" it. How would you test for something like that? The recall notice says bring the car in and the part will be replaced FREE. Nothing about testing. Plus, I just received my registration renewal and the DMV will not renew until the part is replaced and Honda issues a certificate of proof of correction. I am going to contact Honda HQ about this dealership. Tried to scam me because I am a woman. read more

Went here because my AC wasn't working. I went after work on a Tuesday. I've never been here before and I did not make an appointment. I pulled in and there was about 8-9 cars in front of me in the service line. Even still, I was immediately helped and I was talking with someone inside the service department within maybe a minute or two. I told them the problem expecting to have to pay like $500-$800 for a fix. I was told that they'll check the vin to see if maybe there was a recall and there ended up being two recalls for the AC. He told me it'd probably be ready to pick up the following day at around 5pm, which was fine. I went home for a couple hours and I got a call and it was already ready the same day. I came in and they had it ready for me immediately and they even filled up my tires! I paid zero dollars! Shout out to my man John he's the guy that I talked to about everything. The service at this place is magic i'll never go to another place again for any car trouble. The same one who had demanded, when I had asked his name, 'YOU TELL ME YOUR NAME FIRST. THAT IS MY PRIVACY"!!!! On advice of Honda HQ, Provided Krayton with the defective touch-up paint module purchased 12-days ago with receipt to hand. I unscrewed the gray cap at the bottom of the container to prove missing finish wand. Krayton claimed the part was within the module. I told him it was missing. He then brought out a replacement. When unscrewing the same gray cap, he observed the finish wand, missing from my container. KRAYTON, A PARTS MANAGER? Krayton then shot back "YOU MUST HAVE BROKEN THE PART". Moments later, Krayton's sidekick Mexican arrived who had not heard the accusation but became confrontational. Mike arrived but remained quiet. No customer, purchasing products, should be demeaned by accusatory and confrontational smart-mouthed employees. Much less, a big deal over a defective product costing a mere $21.21 inc. tax. I told them to keep the replacement and left the facility with my defective module. When contacting Drew, my favorite Parts manager at another dealership, he will provide a courtesy exchange under the warranty. Drew advised he always take apart touch-up paint modules to ensure all parts present. Scraper, ballpoint, paint brush, finish wand. Nuff said about SVFH. read more

My 17 Year old son took his first car to get his old changed. Upon the free inspection the technician mentioned the the break pads needed to be changed and that there was break fluid leaking from many sources, a 1200 dollar repair. I asked for the dealer to send pictures but they declined and mentioned several times that this was found by a trained technician. Trianed in what I wondered. We took the car to get a second opinion and was informed that the brake pad were new and there was no evidence of any brake fluid leaks. First Honda was looking to take advantage of a younger person that they assumed was unsuspecting and was given assurances that the brake situation was determine to be the case....again by a trained technician. First Honda of Simi failed to comment when they were called on their scam. Up sales are normal, this is behavior was unethical.
