This is our local Honda dealership and out of convenience our family has either shopped or serviced our vehicles here. Other than close proximity that is the only convenience/pro we have experienced at this location. Service lacks a personal touch and care. Most times I've come in by myself and each time I have I've been met with condescending attitudes and unprofessionalism. This last oil service will be the last as I wasn't contacted to pick up my vehicle at end of the day and my vehicle was held overnight. Both my husband and myself have our phone numbers, text and even email notifications for the Honda alerts. Nobody left a message nor voicemail anywhere to advise us to pick it up. I did however get a survey request via the same text thread they confirmed my appointment on and midway through service as an "update". My biggest complaint on this experience was the lack of follow through and customer service on behalf of my advisor Ryan. Upon going the next day at opening hours, Ryan was there and wasn't apologetic nor could provide a reasonable answer as to why no one reached out to us. He responded that the service department has always closed at 6pm as to insinuate I should've known that and came back for my car? I don't memorize others closing hours and my understanding was that someones job was to reach out to me to let me know service was complete. Even via text however nothing was received nor anyone did their part of reaching out. I also asked to speak to a manager and was advised someone would reach out which didn't happen. Save yourself the headaches and go to another place that provides GOOD service and care to their loyal customers because they are not it. read more

I called over the weekend, and they had me come in first thing Monday morning and were able to fix the problem within 15 minutes and get me on my way! *This review is only for service and parts* I called Honda looking for a quote for a replacement of my fuel door actuator. The women on the phone told me I needed to come in and get my car inspected first for $200. $200 just to look at my car for 5 minutes. This did not include parts or labor. I told her I know what's wrong and I just want the replacement part. She asked me how I knew and after going back and forth she finally transferred me to parts. The parts department didn't pick up and their voicemail box was full. I called 3 more times and same thing. I ended up driving down and purchasing the part for $50. My husband was able to install it for me in less than 20mins. If you have a Honda Civic or Accord and your fuel door actuator breaks. Install it yourself! Saved myself hundreds of dollars. read more

The sales team is great. However, after purchasing the car we found out that there was only one key. We were given a due bill for the second key. No one ever followed up so I called. The person I spoke to in parts basically told me that it was my problem and to call sales. I called sales and they were great again and arranged for a new key. I set an appointment with service to stop by and get the key. When I got there service told me I needed to leave the car with them for at least two hours. I said for a key and they said yes. I left the car and came back later. When I arrived I signed the service form and the service person just said okay. I said where's the other key. He said in the car and turned away. This is for the service dept. They got me out quickly when I dropped off my car and communicated by text message through the process. When the car was ready I was able to review and pay the invoice online. When I arrived to pick up my car it was just a short wait and I was on my way. Another dealer provides free Lyft to and from and they didn't offer this and it would have been a nice touch, or at least a shuttle ride. Overall a very nice experience. read more

I seldom give a five-star review on any Corporation especially in the automotive industry but because of John at Honda in Simi Valley, John Flanagan, he is an exceptionally responsive Fair an honest individual. For anybody that wants a good job on their vehicle by a responsible dealership and not a shyster mechanic this is the place to go. I had to have brakes a timing belt and a few other things done and the car was laid up overnight but John was on the phone with me numerous times informing me and explaining to me exactly where we were and what had to still be done and what parts had to be ordered. He has absolutely made a new customer out of my family who own three Hondas plus other vehicles. I have already given First Honda a 5 star review for my purchasing experience, and I'm happy to give this establishment 5 stars for service as well. I had accidentally bumped a curb which had somehow broken or dislocated my washer fluid line. I went in for my service which was free within the first year of my lease so I had asked if it were possible for them to simply take a look at the washer fluid line too. John was very friendly and helped with the team to go above and beyond to get a speedy fix on my washer line to my surprise in combination with my tire rotation and oil change all an hour sooner than anticipated. I'm happy to make the drive back here for all of my future services for my lease and I will be happy to make my next purchase here as well. I've recommended my friends to bring their business here as well. They have always gone above and beyond to work with me. Watch out for the Honda Civics air conditioning problems. I have both a 2017 and 2018. The 2017 had an issue two years ago, which they did replace under warranty. Now its in the shop again for air issues. Within 1 hour of drop off, I received a call from Honda asking me if I want to buy a new one since there is an issue with the air?? hummm, made me think they were going to call me next and tell me a huge sum to pay to fix it. Yup, they did! Over 2k. This is a car with under 45k miles second time with air issues. Same with the 2018, they werent going to cover until I complained. I have had a total of 7 Honda's goin back to 1991 and never had issues until recent. read more
