    Chimichurri Steak & Eggs Hash
    Giselle R.

Went to first watch on a Sunday, we weren't planning to go for brunch but decided last minute to go in and we had a great experience! The food was amazing, I had the chimichurri Steak and Eggs Hash and it was incredible!! service was really good, everyone was really attentive and even though the place was full, ambiance was relaxed and you could comfortably have a conversation. I can't believe we hadn't been here before. 100% recommend :)

We came right before the crowd and were seated right away. One downside is that the tables are pretty close together, so we didn't have much space and could easily hear nearby conversations. I also wish they offered cappuccinos. It's a little odd that they don't. I ordered the Trifecta with the Belgian waffle and really liked the Chicken Apple sausage. The seasoned potatoes were great, too. Portions were solid overall, and we had great, quick service.

Blueberry lemon cornbread was delicious! The mint mocha was okay, I probably won't order it again. The elevated egg sandwich was filling with some burnt pieces in the potatoes. My partner enjoyed the French toast. It wasn't too crowded for a Saturday lunch and service was fast, though not the friendliest as we had to ask the busser for a box upon departure. Cute valentines decor but some trash on the floor.

I had not been to first watch, but anything breakfast focused is great with me. The space was nice and open, and I was seated right away. I'm a sucker for eggs Benedict so I had delicious blt eggs Benedict! Very impressed with the staff; on top of it, friendly but not overwhelming! Can't wait to come back and check out some more tasty options!

Checked in online which I highly recommend! Seated right away only to wait 10 min for a waitress even to appear. Ordered drinks and food together. Million dollar bacon is good. They had a summer special tres lache strawberry French toast, comes with no sides . Very disappointing but it tasted good. Husband got the chickichongo it tasted good but the shell was over cooked. Asked for more coffee twice and finally went and got creamers from another table as she never brought. Overall a little pricey and slow but the food tasted good.

I'm a longtime fan of the First Watch chain. I'd been eyeing this particular location while handling some family issues in nearby Putnam County that have had me driving through Hendricks County multiple times weekly. I simply haven't had time to stop. Yesterday morning, I finally made it. This seems like a newer location and is quite beautifully decorated. The ambience is casual and welcoming. It's in a strip center and there are ample accessible parking spots and curb cuts. The glass door entry is a little heavy, however, employees are nearby and fairly quick to assist if needed. The hosting station is right inside the door. First Watch has both indoor and outdoor dining options. They can accommodate smaller parties and larger parties fairly easily. As is always true with First Watch, this is a breakfast/brunch/lunch spot that closes at 2:30pm. They lean toward healthier fare. They have a juice bar, teas, Project Sunrise Coffee, and the menu includes organic, gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options. They do not serve alcoholic beverages at this location (some First Watch spots do). I was seated at a comfortable table. I ordered my usual unsweetened iced tea. I ended up with a usual of a single pancake and roasted potatoes. I'm a huge fan of First Watch's potatoes - I quite literally crave them. I wasn't looking great, but I was treated well. It has been a very long month both working and dealing with my father in hospice. I'm exhausted. Food was great. Service was great. Price was fair. Here's where First Watch really earned their 5-star. On Tuesday night, my father died after a modest hospice journey. Yesterday, I was on my way to begin planning the funeral and to start addressing issues at his home. I was tired. I was stressed. I was, for the first day, without immediate family (my mother and only brother preceded him in death). I needed a healthy meal. I needed connection. I was lingering. One iced tea. two iced teas. "Do you mind if I stay a few more minutes?" Third iced tea. I was encouraged to stay. I finally acknowledged to my server, Ashley, that I was on my way to begin clearing out my father's home and plan his funeral. It could have been awkward. It could have been a momentary "I'm sorry" response. Instead, she sat down at the table. Looked me in the eyes and spent 1-2 minutes being human and kind. It was a brief but deeply appreciated act of compassion. I got the spark I needed and went to handle the business. So, bravo First Watch. Thank you for creating an environment where people can relax, be sustained, and have kind, compassionate servers. Oh, and thanks for those potatoes. Perfect! I'll be back.

Great place for high quality breakfast. The restaurant provides a cozy family feel with attentive service. I ordered the tri-fecta and a honey caramel crunch iced coffee. For the tri- fecta i chose the Belgian waffle, which was light and airy, scrambled eggs, and chicken sausage. The meal and the drink were both good.

This is like the millionth time we come here to first watch in Avon, Indiana. And this is one of mine and my daughter's favorite to go places. They have. Awesome breakfast and brunch options. We especially prefer the brunch options. They also have a great kids menu with along with the coloring paper that'll occupy kids for some time. Their service is amazing. They explain what the menu is and they are very kind to kids when kids are trying to order on their own. Their ambience inside is pleasant, clean, calm and it suits for all sorts of parties. This is a definite come. We will keep coming here. It's a great place.

Really enjoy this local First Watch. Service is always quick and my coffee cup is never left empty. Menu has all the great stuff whether you're looking for sweet, savory, traditional, or something new. Check the chalk board for rotating specials. Parking is ample and location is very good.

Food was amazing! Fresh and good presentation. Service staff are friendly and the environment is relaxing.

Quick, delicious, and filling for an avocado toast and eggs. Just a hint of lemon and salt. Highly recommended downloading app to get an alternative to those breakfast morning commutes. However, on the app there are not too many options for customizations like a simple request for hot tea to-go, but most coffee, milk, juice basics available.

We went in for a staff luncheon. The food was great. Refills and check backs took some time. I think they were closing up lunch and doing side work. The restaurant is clean and bright. I had the chopped salad. Plenty of leftovers for a second lunch later in the week. We had the corn bread starter which was fire. The watermelon drink was good too.

I have to say I was impressed by this place and that's not an easy thing to do. I was greeted and escorted to my table. The server brought some water right away and took my drink order. BTW the coffee here is fabulous and you get a whole can, which is nice for your no-wait refills and warm-ups. I took a minute to peruse this rather large menu with so many delicious options. It was really hard to choose. In the end I decided on an omelet with a side of cheesy grits. Now mind you the omelet already comes with toast and a salad, which you can swap out for potatoes or fruit. So there is a good amount of food. I'll know next time. The omelet was delish, well made with fresh tomatoes and sour cream on top... yumm. The greens were plentiful and the dressing on it a delicate vinaigrette that I really enjoyed. Even the bread, which I was worried I might not like. It just sounded way too healthy to be any good, but I was proven wrong. It was quite good and the jelly was perfect. And the cheesy grits were pretty good also. A little bland, but that's a grits thing anyway. Altogether I have to say that I will be back for sure. But be aware that this is a very busy place and if you come in on the weekend, expect quite a wait.

There were a lot of different style seating options, so we picked outside. Got the cold brew flight, which today was cereal flavors. I was skeptical because I don't love super sweet coffees, but they were all delicious. The shop did a nice job of balancing recognizable flavors with coffee and not being over powered on the sugar. I also got the Som In Law sandwich, which is egg, chorizo and some other delicious things on an Asiago bagel. It was warm, crispy on the outside, perfect chewy on the inside of the bagel. The bagel to topping ratio was solid. It was a great savory treat to go with my coffee. Overall an awesome stop for a lunch hang out. Will definitely be back.

Arrived and noted that there were not many donuts in the display, but we were told they would make them for you. Okay, great. No worries. We ordered two donuts, the breakfast tacos, and a breakfast sandwich. We got milk and a regular coffee. The breakfast items came out fairly quickly, but no donuts or coffee. Kind of waited for a little and then finally had to ask, nothing was being made. Able to get my coffee and the donuts finally arrived. They were not the normal quality at all. I am not sure what they are doing. PROS: A donut place between Avon and Danville, so great for the community Parking is not an issue, but not many ways in the lot CONS: Place was not clean, tables were dirty Process to order and get items was in disarray. (they were training a new employee on the register, no issues with that at all, she was doing what she could and was being trained, they were doing a great job with that. She was not made to hurry and was learning, so all good) Items received were not the quality expected as they are making the as you order, rather than having items available so poorly made. Meaning, when they finally realized we had no donuts, they asked what we ordered and made them. The donut with chocolate icing with sprinkles was just chocolate thrown on it, melting everywhere and it was not appetizing at all. I hate to leave a bad review or a low review, but we are not planning on coming back to this facility. I will definitely try the other options.

The service was absolutely impeccable: attentive without hovering, warm without pretense, and delivered with the sort of genuine hospitality that makes you feel less like a customer and more like an honored guest at an impossibly chic gathering. And then came the drinks. The pistachio latte was a masterpiece of balance and indulgence -- velvety, nutty, and luxuriously smooth, as though a pistachio grove had somehow been distilled into liquid silk. Each sip unfolded like a sonnet. The wildflower latte, meanwhile, was pure poetry in a cup. Delicately floral without being overpowering, it carried an almost ethereal sweetness, like spring itself had been persuaded to dissolve into espresso. It was whimsical, elegant, and astonishingly memorable. The Green Room Cafe has achieved what so many coffee shops aspire to but few truly accomplish: creating not just beverages, but an experience -- one steeped in artistry, comfort, and just the right amount of enchantment. A triumph. Five stars scarcely feels sufficient. I love finding a coffee shop that has their own house made syrups. I tried the monthly special, Wildflower latte with an added espresso shot and sadly it just tasted like flavored milk. I want to be able to taste the espresso and decided to pivot to a cocktail instead. Their cocktails were well made and the presentation was perfect. While there isn't a large selection of liquors, they have the staples to make most go-to cocktails in addition to their monthly specials (both cocktail and mocktail options). The food is what really stands out and would bring me back. You are able to choose a salad, flatbread or sandwich and their creations are unique and delicious. I had the pesto, peas and goat cheese on flatbread and was pleasantly surprised to find I could order the flatbread as a half order for $9 instead of committing to a whole order. I will be back but the coffee still needs some work before it would be enticing enough to became my go to location. Overall, it's a fun spot with options for everyone and a great addition to the Plainfield area.
