Came in on a rainy Monday for brunch looking for some good breakfast food. I've been to the First Watch in Oakbrook and remembered that there was this newer location closer to me. The interior decor was very nice. I would describe it as a contemporary industrial farm house. It was well lit with lots of yellow lighting, making it feel very cozy. I had looked online at the menu prior to coming, but I was looking at a different locations menu that coincidentally had the same name. They didn't have the dish I was looking for, but our server Olivia was very accommodating. I was looking to get a "Harissa Chicken Hash" but this location did not serve it. Today was my first time at First Watch. It was so fantastic!! The atmosphere is great, and you MUST sit in Jackie's section!! She was a delight and even gave great recommendations. Just do what she says, you won't regret it. Especially if she asks if you want one of their freshly made muffins grilled... say yes!! Always say yes! The Tacos Al Pastor Hash was awesome, it was actually unique but very satisfying. Might wanna grab this before it's gone since it's a special. The food was delicious and high quality, and Jackie made it even better. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other entees, and the drinks since the Purple Haze was so appetizing! read more

This restaurant looks really pretty and aesthetic on the inside. My friends and I were seated and it took a while before a server talked to us and got us drinks, by the time someone talked to us we already knew all our orders and we were waiting around for a while. The food was okay, nothing really special about it. But the purple haze drink was super good! I would go back for that drink! read more

We live in the area and watched this old TGI Friday restaurant resurrect into this breakfast/lunch place. It took us awhile to try it, but all I can say is WOW! This is our weekly go-to place now. We have had breakfast items and lunch items and they have all been amazing. ( we are back to going out weekly now BECAUSE of this awesome place. Date day!) We haven't done that for years!!) The staff is so friendly and attentive, but not to the point of being annoying. You get a pot of coffee on the table if you order coffee and a carafe of COLD water. If you have been iffy about going to First Watch, GO! You will not be sorry. (Now we are off for brunch there now) read more

Since this location opened, we've had breakfast here about 10 times and have brought out of town guests as the food, atmosphere and service are excellent. Olivia has been our server several times and her service is excellent. She is friendly came to our table several times to see how we were, bring us fresh coffee, etc. It is always a great, relaxing every time we come here, especially with servers like this. read more

My family and I (4 adults & 3 children) visited your First Watch location in Bloomingdale IL today. It was our first time dining at First Watch. Let me start by saying, the food was fantastic. The restaurant was very busy and we waited approximately 15 minutes to be seated. Which is fine. Our servers and hostesses were friendly and attentive. I was very impressed with the atmosphere and design/decor. However, while we were waiting for our food, a female employee outside of the kitchen, could be heard yelling and swearing throughout the restaurant. Several patrons heard this and began to look around and figure out what was going on. The female continued to yell and swear at other employees. Several of them exited the area shaking their heads and apologizing to customers. The female then started yelling at another female employee that kept clearly stating " you can't talk to people like that ". Which lead to the original person yelling to start yelling louder and throwing plates across the counter. She proceeded to yelling at kitchen staff. Honestly, This went on for about 10 minutes. Once we finished eating, I approached an employee and asked for the womans name. She was hesitant to provide it but eventually said her name was Jessica. I asked for a manager. She advised me Jessica is the manager. I was extremely disappointed to find out not only was this person an employee, but the manager. The lack of respect and disregard for employees and patrons of the restaurant was appalling. I have been a manager for 25 years and have never spoken to or treated anyone in that manner. She is a disgrace and an embarrassment to your establishment. Needless to say, I will not be visiting that location ever again and will not recommend it to friends or family. read more
