Classic Benedict with Potatoes
Shelby S.

We love this First Watch! This location, specifically, is huge with lots of large booths. Service is always exceptional here. My husband says the coffee is really good here. Cons: the music is deafening, and the entire restaurant is freezing. Even the hostess commented that it is so cold. I had a side of potatoes, which I found quite good, and my husband ordered the Classic Benedict with potatoes which he was pleased with. We will definitely return, perhaps with winter coats and earplugs!

Pick two: pecan salad and ham gruyere sandwich

Friend and I went here for brunch on a Saturday. Overall, we agreed that food was 5 stars, service was a 3. It took a long time for anyone to come to our table to greet us or bring water (the restaurant was fairly busy but there were some unoccupied tables. There were also two managers(?) who stood talking near our table for a large part of our meal but didn't seem to be doing much else). Once our waiter met with us and took our order everything was fine, but it was definitely more of a "you're on your own" meal experience. That said, we did enjoy the food! My friend got the "Pick Two" option with the pecan salad and the ham and gruyere sandwich, which she enjoyed. I cobbled together a few sides and had the million dollar potatoes (truly yummy, with bacon and a creamy sauce), sausage links, and a fruit cup. The place was large and high ceilinged but happily not too loud.

We were immediately seated which was great. The place looks very new and modern. The skillet and tea/lemonade was very good and seasoned well, however, our waitress was a bit in a rush. Her shift was ending and she told us we had to pay the bill or she couldn't leave and this was halfway through our meal. We were thinking about ordering another tea or dessert but decided against it since we were being rushed.

Located in an out lot of Walmart in the old TGIF Restaurant location, this First Watch offers good food and great service. Been to other First Watch locations and the Bloomingdale location is better in my opinion. Our server Marrissa was friendly and professional. We went early on a Sunday morning and were seated immediately. Started with hot coffee ( You get a whole pot for the table) and an iced tea with free refills. My wife who is gluten free had the Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl with Italian sausage,Crimini mushrooms, tomatoes and kale. Big enough to bring half of it home. I had the Bacado Omelet with sour dough bread and seasoned potatoes. Basically an omelet filled with crispy bacon, avocado and Monterey Jack cheese topped with sour cream and a side of Pico de Gallo. Since I like my eggs a little spicey, they have bottles of Cholula Hot sauce on each table..bonus! We were lucky to have received a BOGO coupon for being a member of their First Watch club. Open daily 7am to 230pm. Definitely a good place to go for health minded breakfast and lunch options.

This location used to be TGIFridays but you would never know it. Decor is a clean and bright farmhouse style. Our waitress Marissa was friendly and knew many of her regulars by name. I ordered the GF Quinoa Power Breakfast bowl which was very large so I took half home. I especially loved the Italian sausage in it sweet with fennel. The basted eggs topped in off perfectly and were seasoned with fresh herbs. The coffee is hot and delicious and a carafe is left on the table which I appreciate. My husband enjoyed the omelette that was filled with bacon and avocado and served with toast and fried potatoes as substitute for the salad.. I would return to this well run location.

Came in at 10 for father's day. Seemed a little busy but we got seated right away. Our server was very nice and informative since it was our first time at this location. They had a selective menu for father's day which wasn't anything too crazy. We got hot and iced coffees and water to drink. For food we got 2 pancakes, blueberry and chocolate chip 7/10. also got the lemon ricotta pancakes 7/10, sweetness overload but the flavor was good with the strawberries. pancake by itself was a bit dry so the maple syrup helped. frittata rustica 10/10 everything was very good about it and very fresh. bacardo omelets 10/10 no complaints at all and very good flavoring. Inside of the restaurant was done very nicely compared to what used to be there. Olivia was a great server.

Good selections, robust brunch menu. Avocado toast withbooached eggs were excellent. The space is open, bright, and clean

Love love love this chain of amazing brunch nirvana sites. This is the only thing that came out of Florida that I can get behind. It's not a secret anymore, I guess, because there seems to be 5 in the area, when there had just been the one, in Deer Park, a year ago Food is healthy and delicious, AND not as overpriced as the other places around... recommend checking in online 15m or more before you get there, then let them know when you arrive in person. And one is coming to Schaumburg in June, yasss.

The service is variable, because it's still somewhat transient, but they still do try really hard. And the ambiance is the same, with country music blaring too loud, and several TVs with no sound on. I still think it's a semi-affordable meal compared with other places. Today, I got a free cactus appetizer since I bought a $40 gift card. I ate the whole thing, so my cardiologist will be very happy with me after that. I also got refills on the rolls four times, but my son ate most of them I think. Drinks took a minute but they kept up best as they could. Bread was warm, butter was soft. Steak was juicy, tender and cooked exactly how I wanted. I went with a big group (13) and two orders were missing so teens had to wait. Due to the wait we were promised two desserts on the house and another was given to my father as it was a pre-father's day celebration. One was taken off and the other 2 were charged after we were told it was on the house for the long wait of the 2 missing orders. Wait staff was really nice and she was friendly. She did her best and we appreciate her service. Food was subpar compared to other steakhouses at the pricepoint- porterhouse was $50+. Decor is outdated. More than enough room between tables and booths so that's a plus! Reservations for a group of 13 was really easy.

We ordered the chicken fingers entree, also. I don't know how many fingers were in the order, but we had about 5 or 6 fingers leftover to bring home. The prices are very fair. The music is loud. Sweet N Brew has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with a European-style cafe feel. When we visited, we were the only ones sitting inside for a while. Several pick-up orders were coming and going, but having the space mostly to ourselves made the experience feel calm and relaxing. I ordered an iced caramel latte, and the owner, who was also working the counter, asked how sweet I preferred my drinks. She even mentioned she could adjust the flavor if needed. The latte was absolutely perfect on the first try. It was creamy, smooth, and well-balanced without being overly sweet. I also ordered a scoop of coffee gelato in a cone, which paired beautifully with my drink and tasted rich and authentic. What really stood out was the owner herself. She made friendly conversation while taking my order, and it was clear how passionate she is about her business and the quality of what she serves. That personal touch made the visit even more memorable. I do wish this spot were closer to me since I live in Schaumburg, but it is absolutely worth the drive. I cannot wait to come back and would highly recommend Sweet N Brew to anyone looking for great coffee, delicious gelato, and genuinely warm service.
