Before me and my family arrived we called to see how long was the wait and they stated 30minutes and we ask if they could put our name down and they did, when we got there my sister went in and they told her 15 more minutes which was fine but then 15 minutes went by and she never got the text about the table so she went in again and they told her give them a few they'll text her because their going to clean up some tables so after waiting some more she never got a text so at this point we decided maybe if the whole family goes in then when we can sit down so we went in and they ask my sister for her name again like it wasn't on the list and as if she hasn't been in there two times already and then they sat us but as we where sitting for 10minutes nobody ever came to our table, nobody greeted us, brought us water or even check to see if we got a serve, my mom did request the manager and of course he made excuses for all of it. We felt so much discrimination and neglect from them, I really thought we graduated as a society from all this black and white stuff but I see we didn't and I'm very disappointed because we really wanted to eat here and enjoy our time but we left disgusted and disappointed and with hungry kids. read more

Amazing brunch spot, inside looks really cute and trendy, a lot of seating, service was great. Food was really good, they top sour cream to alot of their omelettes and thought it was weird but tasted fantastic! Gluten free friendly, toasts at no additional costs when you substitute which is great because usually other places charge extra. Coffee was pleasant with many creamer choices, mimosas were a hit as always but it did seem like a bit too much orange juice. Definitely would recommend and already planning my next visit! read more

Terrible service on Thursday morning / afternoon. Took order for million dollar bacon. Did not come. Then took order for meals waited over a half hour for the meals which finally arrived, and still no bacon. Asked them to remove bacon from order and check. Of course bacon that was not delivered was still on bill. Took another 10 minutes to get revised check. Plus main course was between luke warm and cool. It's a beautiful restaurant on the inside, and the staff is very friendly. I liked the personal touches from the engraved tables, to the ketchup bottles. We joined the online waitlist, and got sat fairly quickly for a busy Sunday morning. The service itself was great, and our waitress checked in fairly often and was super sweet. The menu has some items that are different from other restaurants, which I can appreciate. Many new things to try!! My boyfriend had the classic Benedict, while I had the elevated egg sandwich. I wish I could give them 5 stars, but the eggs were over cooked. Like solid, over hard egg yolks. The poached eggs on the Benny and my egg on the sandwich that was supposed be over easy. I was so excited for the runny egg yolk, so it was disappointing. The food was delicious regardless, and the sandwich was fantastic. The lemon-dressed arugula added a nice touch of freshness to stop it from becoming a heavy breakfast sandwich. Also the potatoes were slightly undercooked. Great new breakfast spot in the area replacing TGI Fridays. I stopped in a few days ago to try them out & had a wonderful experience. The server offered their specialty juices so I chose the "Purple Haze" which was basically a Lavender Lemonade, really good. I wanted sweet & savory so I ordered the Bacado omelet with country potatoes & the brioche French toast which came with a berry compote. Both dishes were pleasing and hearty. Will consider returning but not anytime soon as another yelper stated, their pricing is fairly high compared to other places who give a better bang for your buck. read more

The lunch menu looked appetizing, even offering a lunch special at $9.99. Stuck to breakfast and started with the million dollar bacon which is caramelized bacon with brown sugar and cayenne pepper, simply delicious. Good quality bacon too. For my main entree, I went with the biscuits with turkey gravy. Generous portion with nice kick of spice in the gravy. The biscuits tasted fresh and I would bet they're homemade. Breakfast potatoes are delicious as well. Kiddo got the French toast kids meal which was also a nice portion size for a kid and came with bacon or sausage and fruit. A nice new place for breakfast. Formerly TGIFriday location (a the nice memories). First Watch reminds me of the old Egg Harbour cafe with an updated modern fresh look. I had the standard breakfast with eggs. A photo of it will be posted here. My first impression was good. Service was a bit slow but the food was actually good. I wish the place was open past lunch into dinner. Oh well, I've seen many of these places and I hope this one is here to stay. Prices are not bad and selection is good overall. Yum and some of the best coffee they roast their own ethically sourced or some such nonsense so thought they are charging based on feeling etc nope it's really the best coffee I have had in years. Food is great, priced ok but not a deal. We finally made it to First Watch and I'm sad we haven't been there sooner!! I had the Brisket Hash from the summer menu and my daughter had the breakfast sandwich. Both were fantastic! I asked to have mine with no cheese and the server made sure to ask if it was an allergy issue, which I really appreciated! I actually ended up at First Watch twice last well as I also had lunch there with a friend! I had the Smoked Salmon Frittata, which was also very good! We went for the friends and family grand opening. We had been to the Oak Brook location and was super excited they came closer to our house! It's the ambiance and décor!! It's clean and bright with a bar in front. Great selection of unique drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The service, coffee, and food, everything was great. We've been here twice since they opened. Once for sit down and once for carry out. The carryout is on the side of the building or close to the back of the restaurant. Highly recommend for breakfast/brunch or lunch! He had the Tri-Fecta and I had the Traditional breakfast. read more
