I was excited to try a place in Pennsylvania. First watch had a friendly environment and looked amazing! So everything started off well. I got the Farmhouse Hash. I'd give it a 7/10. It was good but not great. I did love the Tropical Sunrise juice. I'd give that a 9/10. It would have been a 10/10 if they had made it a smoothie. It was worth the trip, but not my #1 Brunch place.

I love First Watch because it is an affordable and healthy brunch option. A go-to place of mine. I have to give major kudos to the staff at this location. I dined in a Sunday morning (busy day) and the staff was so efficient. I was in and out in 40 minutes. They were so accommodating to my allergies and always made sure my drink was filled. 10/10 experience.

Always a great experience at First Watch! Service was excellent. I enjoyed the avocado toast with a side of eggs over medium.

First Watch is always busy! We wanted to go to a location closer to our hotel but it was almost an hour wait. We found this location that was off the highway on the drive down. We had put our names down online, so we didn't wait long when we got there. Maybe 15-20 minutes? My mom got a hot chocolate to start. It looked beautiful! Didn't get to try it but I'm sure it was good. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. Delicious but a regret, since it gave me a stomach ache. I knew it would since I can't do dairy too well, but really wanted it. Still so good and worth it!! My parents shared blueberry pancakes and got themselves a side of eggs each. The pancakes were not bad! My sister ordered a special, the Al pastor taco bowl situation. It looked good! Folks waiting for a table even asked us what it was and told us they wanted to order it after seeing it. LOL Fast service here! And we didn't wait long for the food. Great prices for food that keeps you full! Parking is annoying. Lots of spots, but people like to zoom around the parking lot like it's not a danger to anyone backing out of their parking spot.

Delicious skillet!

We love First Watch and frequent one close to us in Nashville. We were excited to find a location near where we were staying while visiting family and this was a very good restaurant. We got two seasonal juices and they were flavorful and a nice contrast to our breakfast skillets. We both had the farmhouse skillet and it's really a delicious meal. The service was great as well and they did a really good job getting everyone served despite the restaurant being crammed with patrons. This is a great location and we'd definitely come here again if we're in town again!

Eggs Benedict

One of the worst brunch experiences ever. After waiting to be seated we received our hot coffee, but as I put the cream in, I noticed a floating dead bug. Waitress seemed mildly annoyed that I didn't want to eat a bug, but other than that the service was alright, she was decently attentive, noticing when we flagged her down; she was just definitely not having a good day I guess. The potato's and eggs were cold, some of the potato's were hard, nothing was hot. The only thing that was truly enjoyable was the pancakes(also cold) which if they mess up pancakes I don't know how they'd be in business. The environment was hectic, loud, not enough space for workers and patrons.

Grabbed brunch here the other weekend and loved it. First, they way it is decorated seems so cute; tables were also still spaced out, so I felt comfortable and not over-crowded. For brunch, I got one of their special juices, which was good, a side of cheesy grits, and the BLT Eggs Benny. The only thing I didn't like was the grits - they just weren't seasoned well. However, the Benedict was delicious, as was the lemony, side salad it came with. And finally, service was also exceptional. We were taken care of, without feeling rushed.

I had the potato bowl with bacon & onions. Eggs were over cooked and there wasn't many potatos. Flavor was great but not a good value for the price. We paid just as much for breakfast as we do eating out dinner. Service was fine, we sat outside. I don't visit here often & this visit reminded me why.

This place is extremely busy. Yes, the food is good. Is it worth the hassle though? Luckily, through Yelp you are able to put your name on a "list" but is not really a list because you still have to be put on a separate list upon arrival. We arrived around noon on Saturday and the line was out the door. I did sign in and check in but we still waited over 30 minutes for a table to be ready. During our wait, of course there wasn't any coffee ready out front. I politely asked for them to refill it and was surprised when one of the waitresses went to refill right away. Bad news; she never came back with coffee. The menu is great. I do enjoy all of the healthy options, which is only reason for 3 stars. I'm an omelette gal. I remember the last one I got at a First Watch was extremely watery and undercooked. I specifically asked for them to cook it a little longer and it came out just fine. Service, they're busy. I get it. However, the attitude from the hostess upon arrival and departure was absolutely awful. I'm sorry I inconvenienced you by coming in to eat on a Saturday. Afterwards when I asked to split our check, I got the attitude of a lifetime. Snatched my debit card out of my hand, threw the pen and check to me to sign. This is the main reason for my poor experience here. Having someone represent your restaurant, and treating patrons like we were treated (and clearly how everyone else was treated) is really not favorable.

I asked a couple questions about the menu and was immediately directed to the BLT by a woman in the kitchen. Wow I wasn't disappointed. It was sooooo good. The bread was toasted perfectly (so it didn't kill the roof of my mouth), the tomato's and lettuce were fresh, the bacon crispy, and that basil mayo. A life changing BLT if there is such a thing. A couple side notes I appreciate. Bittersweet's marketing team deserves. Ton of credit - they have some awesome swag available for purchase. Also, this is a Christian oriented cafe with bible verses, messaging, and music. Love it! And finally, check out the story about Bittersweet's roots, its commitment to addiction recovery/support, and the owner's son's story/passing. The name "Bittersweet Cafe" will take on a deeper meaning (the news articles can be found in the walls before the counter by the bathrooms). Cheers Bittersweet, thanks for having me, and God bless!

Servers were friendly and hospitable. The only downside is waiting in line to order and then waiting for your food. This is probably not the place to come when you have a time crunch, but if you can eat a leisurely meal, come on! I had the Bittersweet chicken salad sandwich and we shared a peanut butter mousse dessert, both were great!

Very nice new restaurant and cafe for delicious Uzbek and Russian food. I think they recently…read moreexpanded their menu some more after I already went, but even when I came and tried a more limited menu, everything was quite good. I got to try their Samarkand plov/osh, Samarkand bread/naan/non, Napoleon cake, and the suzma. I really enjoyed nearly all of the items. Starting backwards with the suzma, this was kind of like labneh, the Turkish yogurt dish. Quite good, but this felt a little more liquidy while still being rich. Very strong whole milk flavor. The Uzbek bread is always delicious. They give you a huge piece of bread that is crunchy at the sides and soft in the middle. Perfect for eating any of the main entrees with, especially kebabs. Nice seed topping as well. The Samarkand plot was quite nice too. My first time ever having plov, finally! Glad to try it from this place. They give you a nice serving size. The rice is a little bit oily, and I typically like the rice to be cooked longer (it still had a pretty strong bite to it), but the flavor was nice overall. Savory from the meat, sweet (almost a bit too sweet) from the carrots, and richness from the spices and oil. I really liked that they included chickpeas as well. All in all, I quite enjoyed this place. Probably not my favorite Uzbek in the area, but still, very good. I would like to come back to try some of the other items they added.

This review is long overdue--we ate at Cafe Samarkand a month ago on the first day of Ramadan--but…read morehopefully better late than never. We had a lovely first dinner at Cafe Samarkand. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly from the time we arrived until we left, often checking on our experience without being intrusive. They also helpfully explained the menu and the presence of some special treats already on the table when we arrived--there for guests coming to break their fast for that day of Ramadan. We very much enjoyed everything we ate, starting with a Samosa and Shuba (with the awesome translation of "Fur Coat"), and through our main courses of Plov, Layered Uzbek dumplings, and steak with rice. The Plov and layered dumplings were particular standouts for generous servings of perfectly seasoned dishes with complex flavor--seem like they would be particularly great entry points for folks less familiar with Uzbek cuisine. We were too full to eat dessert, but took home some honey cake for dessert. That was reminiscent of baklava with its layers of crispy cake and honey, but also very much its own thing, and definitely something I will be ordering next time, too. I worry folks will miss this local gem down at the end of the Kuhn's parking lot, and hope the word gets out--it's definitely worth a visit!
