I would give this place zero starts if I could. I've been to several other locations and have always enjoyed. I decided to go to brunch for my birthday as I haven't had a nice breakfast out in a very long time. Once seated after waiting two rounds (understandable that there was a wait on a Sunday), we waited 30 MINUTES to even be greeted and longer to get coffee and water. We only got service because I went up front and complained. Ordered food and waited AT LEAST 45 minutes for it only for it to be COLD. I was hesitant to complain because I didn't want to WAIT more (also had a toddler with us starting to lose it), but I just couldn't eat it. We were ready to walk out by the time the food had come and were completely empty on water and coffee and still hadn't gotten enough silverware. Currently sitting here waiting for the cold food to come back out...been another 15 minutes so far. I can do this at home or go somewhere else. No management at all and not any consolation for all the poor service. read more

First watch is one of the first breakfast spots I've tried since I moved to Austin and it's definitely going to be a staple for me. The food is very delicious here and the wait time isn't bad on weekdays but be prepared to wait 30 minutes to an hour on weekends, that's for sure. The parking here is easy to access and there's enough space for everyone. Servers do a great job at following COVID protocols. Nonetheless this will forever be one of my favorite spots here in Austin Texas and I do recommend everyone to give it a try. read more

We used to love first watch when I first moved to Leander. Lately the service has suffered and has not shown any sign of a pulse. The food has taken a hit as well. I used to feel refreshed and enjoyed going to first watch. Now it's slow, wrong orders and lack luster. I've chosen to go back to McDonald's at least they get it right the first time with a smile. My dad and I had lunch at First Watch on a Wednesday, and we had a great experience. Their Covid precautions were good (outdoor seating available, staff consistently wearing face masks and gloves). Our waitress was wonderful - she brought everything out right on time and checked up on us to make sure we were okay! I had the 2 for you special with the market veggie sandwich and the sweet honey pecan salad (without the chicken) and they were both yummy! I especially loved the honey pecans! First I want to say that I actually love this place but the last 2 orders have been really bad. I ordered thru DoorDash and got the Monterey Club Sandwich. I tried to put in a special request to have the lettuce and tomatoes on the side, but it said this location doesn't do request and to call. So I called, actually spoke to a manager, who sounded like an older women who definitely did not want to speak on the phone. She stated the app should allow special request. She kept talking over me when all I was trying to say was I need the lettuce and tomatoes on the side. She said ok. I knew right then and there that my order would be wrong. From her attitude, I know for sure she went back in that kitchen and told them just to put Turkey and cheese. Sure enough, I received my order and it had Turkey,cheese,and a slice of avocado. I received no lettuce or tomatoes on the side, and I received no bacon. What a disappointment. If u don't want to do your job or please customers u should disconnect your phones and make it clear special request are not allowed. What a jerk.Will not be ordering again read more

So disappointing. I'll start with the positive- the waitress was very sweet. That's it. That's literally the only good thing about this whole experience. When we first walked in, the guy at the stand didn't even raise his eyes to greet us, then mumbled something about looking to see who he had on the floor when my husband pointedly caught his eye and said hi with a smile. When we sat down, we immediately noticed that there was a haze of smoke in the air and just kind of stared at each other trying to decide if we could actually sit through an entire meal with it. We decided to tough it out- big mistake. The coffee cups on the table were very much Not clean- they literally had coffee splashed all over them. The first water glass that waitress brought out she had to take back before she even sat it down because she noticed it was dirty too. The coffee that's touted to be the best was somehow both weak and bitter. The million dollar bacon came out cold and greasy. The gingerbread donuts came out burnt and soggy with grease- like, they actually squished grease in your mouth? The market hash was nice, I'll give them that, but the Belgian waffle was still raw in the center. At checkout the guy taking our payment barely acknowledged us standing there and was very dismissive through the process. Never asked how our meal was, never smiled. Apparently couldn't care less about our presence except to point us to the credit card machine on the other register as he deliberately reached over and scanned our bill. I don't know if the moral there is low with the floor staff or if maybe the kitchen crew had a rough Friday night- hell, maybe they all had smoke inhalation issues- but no one seemed to be up to doing the job this morning. This was our 'second chance' visit. There won't be a third. read more
