We have breakfast here at least once a week because there's something on the menu for everyone and the servers are so friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend any version of the skillet hash but be sure to browse the seasonal menu! Also, the iced coffee is refreshing and just the right amount of sweet. read more

I LOVE coming to this First Watch at Mill Run. The people are always friendly and they are always smiling. I've never had one problem with this location. The food has always been good. Some of the drink prices (i.e.glass of cranberry juice!) are ridiculous, but usually drink prices arent cheap anymore!! I'll definitely go there again!!! read more

I hate to leave a one or two star review for any establishment, but in this case it's warranted. I've been here many times. My kid loves their pancakes. For that alone, it gets one star. I'll give it another star for cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. As far as the food is concerned, I've never managed to have a good meal here. Today I ordered two eggs over medium, fried potatoes, and wheat toast. The eggs were cold and undercooked. Literally inedible. The potatoes were hard, undercooked and inedible. The toast was... This restraunt has everything you could want for breakfast, brunch, and lunch! The menu is quite extensive and has all farm raised and organic foods, spices, and beverages. Farm to table. I ordered the French toast with two free range sunny side up eggs and Turkey sausage links. Everything was delicious! The French toast was warm with fresh brioche and a side of delicious cherry syrup on the side. My eggs were perfect and so was the Turkey sausage. I also really liked that they had Gluten free options, vegetarian options, and vegan options. The restraunt has a great cozy ambiance and the staff was super classy, polite, helpful, and friendly. First Watch... i dont get it? The name confuses me. Is it because the wait is long and causes you to "First Watch" the other patrons eating? To be honest i couldn't care less what the name was because the food was worth the wait! Take a look at my photo of the bacon. Remember it well because this is what you will be ordering every time you eat here if your a carnivore like me. "Millionaire's bacon" is not a reference to the price because $4.99 for 4 strips of this heavenly deliciousness is worth it. You will be singing hallelujah while eating or at the very least become stingy and not want to share with whoever you came to eat breakfast/brunch/lunch here. The food and service are excellent. Something fresh and tasty on the menu for everyone. Sweet, savory, vegetarian options, healthier choices as well and even a great tasting kale drink. I've only been here once but it was delicious! The food was flavorful, not to mention healthy. It was an awesome vibe as well even though the place was kind of small. The only issue I had was the service. It's usually a pretty busy place during breakfast/brunch time. We didn't have to wait at all which was cool but then it took about 5/10 mins to be greeted at our tables. I wouldn't mind if the server came up to the table and told us she'd be with us in a minute but never did. The attentivenesss was never really there throughout the meal. During the time we were waiting for our meals, we ran out of water, and the server never brought more and didn't even ask if we wanted more. We had to ask someone else and then while we were eating, never asked if the meal was good, or if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this place because the food was so delicious! I would also recommend going earlier in the morning before it gets busy or later in the day before they close. The service may not be as bad because it'd be less busy. read more

This is my favorite breakfast chain. When I lived in worhtington, my wife and I always went to the one on high st. This location, in Hilliard, is more spacious. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Our very complicated order was made to perfection and no issues. The coffee was hot and decent. Not the best but OK for the price. I have at other First Watch locations and their food has been always great. This time I decided to try the Hilliard location and I Ordered to go. Avocado toast and scrambled eggs. What a mess I received a toast with guacamole on top and eggs that were not either fried or scrambled. It seems that the cook does not know how to scramble eggs. I stopped in here last min for a quick bite to eat. It was about 30 mins before they were set to close. Let me tell you they got me in and out pretty quick. Not a bad thing honestly. I had fresh juice, a salad and a half sandwich. The price for me is a little steep for lunch. But when you are getting high quality products as well as lots of fresh produce i could understand the need for it to be a little more. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The perfect amount of food to feel satisfied but not too heavy. I left feeling light and like i had a healthy well balanced lunch. Which is hard to achieve sometimes! The staff was attentive and very quick with taking our orders and getting the food out. Been living in the area for about 8 months and never took the chance on this place. Big mistake! Went today and fell in love. My husband and I both had French toast (I got the million dollar bacon with mine) and we split the turkey sausage and gravy with biscuits and it was all amazing! The French toast was perfect, fluffy and a great portion. The biscuits and gravy were perfect too, thick peppery gravy and great biscuits. The potatoes were cooked perfectly too. Now don't get me started on the million dollar bacon. There need to be 10 slices to an order! It's amazing, just get it. This place has so much to offer and I can't wait to go back. Both were pretty tasteless (are they made with Eggbeaters?), and really lacking in fillings. The avocado in mine was ripe to the point of being rank. He said the chicken lacked any flavor what so ever, and tasted like it had been boiled. Ick. The few mushrooms that were in it were practically raw. The one good thing about it was that it wasn't swimming in grease like a lot of diner fare seem to come with. The coffee ($1.99) wasn't even that good either. I stopped in for a bit of breakfast this morning - this restaurant is always spotless and clean. The wait staff is extremely friendly, always ready with the water pitcher and the coffee pot, and your food is delivered as soon as it hits the warmer - straight from the grill or griddle. This morning I had the Trifecta - 2 eggs over medium with a large sausage link and a yummy belgian waffle - the waffle is the best - crispy on the outside dusted with cinnamon and sugar. it's served with some berry topping but I prefer the maple flavored syrup, served warm. Over medium eggs for some reason are hard for grill cooks - most of the time my eggs come out as over easy or as over hard - these eggs were perffect - the white was set all around the yolk. And the sausage is tasty as well. I sat at "the bar" - it's a great seat where you can watch all the kitchen activity. All-in-all, a delicious breakfast at the First Watch! read more

I usually sit at the counter, so I don't have much of a wait, but often there is a large group of people waiting to get seated. They do have an app that alerts you to when you are going to be seated so that is good. Try it out. You won't be disappointed. read more

Absolutely terrible service. I get the point that you could call-ahead on the app but there is absolutely no reason as to why there should be 3 families, 5 people or more, get seated in front of us. We waited for about 1 hour 20 mins to get seated. We saw a family that got there and waited 15 mins and got seated before us. The food was good but it certainly didn't taste fresh. Our server was polite and friendly. My family goes almost every single weekend and we have never experience service THIS bad. Also, why do they always manage to sit us in a 4 top table/ booth?
