I really appreciate someone reaching out after my last review. I decided I'd go ahead and use the gift card offered to give them another try, but my boyfriend was out on the idea after what we experienced. Today, three months later, I brought in my parents and a friend. 30 minute wait -ok. We waited slightly longer than 30, but we survived. The problems began again once we ordered our food. The wait to eat was longer than the wait for our seat. At one point, the waitress came by to let us know our food was in, but there was a huge stack of orders the cook was getting through. The table beside us asked for a correction and she told them it would be awhile. (????) Finally ONE plate came out. My friend nearly finished her food before my parents and I received our orders. I felt annoyed for myself and my guests I dragged along, but felt even worse for the waitress. Who is running this place? Are they short staffed? Are they waiting on the chickens to lay eggs in the back? Seriously, I couldn't believe there was no visible manager showing their face to customers and/or making amends of some sort. I hope whoever is managing this place was at least in the back helping cook and plate food, OR being replaced immediately. I also hope our waitress crosses the street and gets a job at Applebee's. I must say, their food is really good. Great atmosphere. Staff was super nice. Even other waiters will ask if they can get you something. Now, with that being said. My bill was killing me lol I wasn't aware by subbing for something else the price will def change so fyi ask if there will be an upcharge so substituting. When I say EVERYTHING is fresh I mean EVERYTHING LOL I can't say enough about this place. I am very surprise it's a Chain restaurant. It has that homely Mom and Pop feel which I appreciate so much. While waiting for the table today, we saw that 2 seats became available at the bar area and didn't want to miss an opportunity to get the seats so we sat there eventhough the space still had some glasses and needed to be wiped down. The server named Brett came and made a comment about us sitting down while the area still needed to be cleaned. We told him it's all good, we just didn't want to lose an opportunity to get the seats. Throughout our time sitting there, he had an attitude with us. After we placed the order it appeared that the was a delay with the food and I asked if he had an update. He said it's gonna be a while, haven't you been here on a weekend before. Really? Is that how you respond? Did he forget he works in hospitality and at the very least, he should proactively let us know there is a delay. While eating the food he presented us with separate checks without even asking how the food was, would we like anything else or did we even want separate checks. The whole time we sat there we felt uncomfortable and like an inconvenience. He should probably reevaluate if working in hospitality is for him. I appreciate the servers were busy and they may have been understaffed but there is no excuse for the above behaviour. On the plus side, the food was great. read more

This is our favorite weekend brunch spot! Every time, we have been seated promptly if not, had a short wait. Regardless, the experience and food have been worth any wait time for us. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive and our food is always out in a timely manner and delicious! We get something new every time we go. The portions usually allow us to bring home leftovers and have an entire meal with them. They have plenty of lighter and healthier plate options, fresh juices and coffee. They also have an eco-friendly initiative; to-go containers are biodegradable and no straws unless you request one. Every time we have been, we stayed for about 1-1.5 hours. Not because service is slow but because the atmosphere of the restaurant makes you want to sit back, drink their coffee and enjoy your food/time there with friends & family. And they encourage it! The only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because of the manager and the hostess in the front after that everything is horrible went in for the first time a couple days ago they gave me a horrific sandwich so they said the would replace it but on that visit the serve was not nice after I had asked for well done eggs it took 3 try's for them to fix and seemed like she was bothered. I went back today and the server was ok however it took forever to get our food the food runner was so rude I told him I had asked for well done eggs and potatoes and said he couldn't do anything because they where backed up !! So im going to eat something that was made incorrectly. Had to even go back to the hostess booth to get silverware which is not a problem however I thought that servers would help out. Everything was awesome including the special juices and the million dollar bacon was a great addition to our breakfast. They had a special pork carnitas burrito that my husband has to help me finish. It was amazing. They had gluten free bread to make two of our children French toast and it was ok but probably could have had more egg/cinnamon and sugar. The hot chocolate with whipped cream was good. The steak and eggs could have had more steak it was loaded with potato's but that did not change the 5 star rating. My favorite go to spot for brunch. The food is always good i usually go on the waitlist and when i arrive i'm usually seated fairly quick.

Sunday around 1 I witnessed something strange while my husband and I were eating, we sat down in a big booth next to the register. One of the servers opened up the register and took money out and put it in his back pocket I laughed and asked him if he was gonna take that to the manager and he responded with "I'm not your server" and walked away. later my server came to check on us she was wearing a blue mask and I asked what the guy with the blue eyes name was she responded "Bret" I asked her if he was one of the managers, and she said no ma'am I believe he quit, he walked out and left his tables behind" which was very odd to us. The food was room temp and the ham was dang near cold. The hollandaise sauce was kind of thin. The million dollar bacon was room temp and limp. Service was good though. Check your bill closely when you pay, particularly the tip amount. A buddy and I split a $66 tab, and both paid up at the front with our respective credit cards. I tapped their machine to give a 20% tip, but when I looked at my total their computer system calculated my tip based on the total bill, rather than my $33 portion. So I ended up giving a 40% tip. When I asked the manager about it she said she couldn't do anything because "it was the programmers who are responsible." I was dumbfounded. I had to insist she send it "up the line" to fix, but she didn't seem at all concerned. So now I wonder how many other customers are being hoodwinked into paying double the tip they intended. Overall, I'm not at all impressed with this place. The food was decent, but nothing special. And with management like her, I don't see it sticking around very long. read more

We live nearby and decided to give it a try. When we walked in, there was only one other table that had customers. We ordered and we waited and waited and waited. Now there are 5 tables with guests. Food comes and looks good. We dig in and the eggs Benedict are excellent. The biscuits and gravy are cooked well, but the gravy seemed a little off. I don't know if it is just my pallet that didn't agree. We were not checked on, so refills didn't happen. After we finished and were sitting with empty plates, we were confused about how/ where to pay as we hadn't gotten a check yet. Finally the waitress drops our check off and we ask if we pay at the table or at the front and she says to go up front. We do and we wait. Still there are at least 3 waitstaff, 5 (now 4 tables), and we stood at the front for a good ten minutes before anyone came up to take our money. The service at this location is terrible. Every time we have come to this location, there is always an issue. It is not like we are asking for anything special or modifications to menu items. We just want to order from the menu and receive some facsimile of what the menu describes. Today, I ordered a dish called Morning Market Veg which is an omelet. The waitress brings out a scrambled hash with a ton of potatoes. I tell her this is not what I ordered, and she says "Yes it is, I will bring your toast in a minute" and walks away. I cannot eat this because I am on a low carb diet. She comes back 15 minutes later and said, "Oh you were right, I pushed the wrong button, We took that off your bill." They never offered to make the correct dish. I left there 30 minutes later still with no breakfast. I also never received the toast that she promised, and I never asked for or wanted. This is my favorite breakfast place ever and typically go to the one on Preston/Forest. To my surprise this one was right around the corner from our house! It's always busy so you need to be ready to wait for at least 20-30 minutes during prime time weekend hours, but if you're lucky you can snag a bar top first come- first serve. We sat with Kristen and the bar and she was wonderful while handling multiple customers and also tending to the bar. I haven't tried a single thing I didn't like but my favorite is the BLT Benedict!
