This was my first time visiting a First Watch and not the best experience. Everything was just ok. The checking in system was easy and took about 30 mins to get a table so no harm no foul. There are plenty of options but nothing that screamed out to me. Im disappointed this establishment doesn't carry non dairy milk options because I wanted to try honey caramel crunch iced coffee and it's premade with regular milk. Instead, I got the purple haze and it was definitely a haze because as you can tell by my picture, there was hardly any effort into making that drink. It looks like they mixed water and one of those crystal lite drink enhancers into it. The star of the show was the tres leches French toast and that was it. I ordered ahead so I didn't spend time in the restaurant, but it was quiet on a Tuesday morning. The food was great as usual, everything I ordered was in the bag and ready. Thank you guys for putting the berry compote for the Belgian waffle in the bags now. Food is always great at this location, this is definitely the place I would normally bring my family for breakfast on weekends but after today, I will not return. First They got our order wrong and brought us an extra plate of something we did not order after waiting about 30 mins but the most upsetting thing about our day is that a couple that sat next to us started smoking , mind you I had my infant child with me. Big smoke clouds blowing over our table until I had to call the server and told her this was unacceptable, even though she spoke to the couple about their behavior, they had a nasty attitude. This is a place where we normally have great food, drinks and laughter its turned into a smoking lounge. The waiter who sat us was very friendly and held a conversation with us almost naturally. His name was Akim, and he was so funny and sweet! The Healthy Turkey omelet lacked any sort of turkey, so it was basically just egg-whites and spinach. I'm confused as to why we get three raw tomato slices on the side of the omelet, i thought they would be cooked inside? The banana granola pancake was good but it fell apart almost immediately and was very difficult to eat. The carrot cake pancake not only fell apart but had bunched up carrot slices in the middle of it, and tasted like straight flour. First Watch Dania Beach Location... I ordered a veggie burger with a side salad supposedly dressed with a yummy-sounding vinaigrette and some-kind of OJ-based health drink with turmeric and ginger and other healthy stuff to-go. After about 30 minutes I asked how much longer I would have to wait while eyeing a couple of to-go bags that were sitting there on the counter...turns out after some back-and-forth one of them WAS my veggie burger (the kid who took my order most-likely hated his job but he was sweet and is probably a great gamer)...by this time my food had been sitting there for about 20 minutes. My drink order wasn't there. I'm aggravated at this point and tell them I'll forfeit the drink. One of the servers offered to make it for me...so against my better judgment I sat back down...she seemed sincere. Then another 10 minutes ticks by and she brings out my health drink and tells me they're "out of beet juice" so my health drink turned out to be a pricey glass of orange juice...which on-it's-face is healthy but is a dishonest fix for an already incompetent and frankly weird take-out situation. (I won't go into the weird.) So anyway... In First Watch's defense the veggie burger was a pretty tasty, compact, patty but cold by the time I actually ate it. The "salad" was a couple of handfuls of undressed mixed greens and two sad, spongy slices of tomato. What First Watch did fairly efficiently is disappoint me. I may try again...but I'd definitely eat in. It should also be noted that they were getting close to closing time. Yum! First, i ordered a "tangerine dream" and I'm so glad I did! This is a healthy version of an orange Julius and also, not as sweet. But it hits the spot without feeling guilty or sluggish. Service was good, polite, and quick. This is something I treat myself to occasionally after I drop the kids off somewhere. It became a favorite of mine on Tuesday mornings. Always have had a decent experience at this First Watch. Make sure to always get in line before arriving to cut down in the wait time. There is ALMOST ALWAYS a wait time. Our party of 2 had a 3 minute live wait because we got in line online! The party behind us of 2 was told 35-40 minutes! Service is great even if it's a bit busy for everyone so make sure to ask for what you want when you see them because they are hustling! Food is consistently delicious and fresh. October 21/2022: A very busy breakfast spot. It was packed for a Friday morning brunch. Our server was very nice but the kitchen made errors on the order. I ordered Turkey Sausage gravy on a biscuit with an extra egg. The eggs with the meal were WAY under cooked & the extra egg I ordered we over cooked. The potatoes were under as well! For a breakfast place, shouldn't they KNOW how to poach an egg & fry potatoes? Just saying. I can say the the flavour profile was there for the sausage gravy. Been to this First Watch a handful of times now and today was just a little off. Our waiter was obviously distracted with other tables and disappeared for long periods at a time. If I wasn't in a rush this morning it wouldn't have bothered me, but I felt like I was constantly trying to catch their eye or locate them. When we finally got our food all wasn't there. They forgot one of our dishes, but because of our rush we didn't bother correcting them. I've learned that when coming to First Watch that it is defintely learned they're in their own time zone so proceed with caution. My family and I came here for breakfast this morning. There wasn't a wait but service was slow. Our food didn't come out fast and when we did receive it, it was either cold or room temp. My in-laws eggs Benedict was cold but the potatoes were hot. My carnitas tostada was good that I got it but wasn't hot only warm. My husband's strawberry French toast was the same. On our way out the door, my MIL told the manager the food was cold and all he did was say sorry. He didn't try to fix anything or offer to fix anything. The wait times can be very long on a weekend but we like to work out at Youfit next door until our table is ready and then walk over. Plenty of parking in the lot out front, and it is very clean restaurant. The inside is a little small but they have outside seating as well. Tons of healthy options and different fun juices as well. My favorite is the Turkey burger for lunch and fratatas for breakfast. They add new specialty items often so there is always something new to try. Servers are always so nice and accommodating. Came here on a French day with my dad. We chose this Bob because you wanted breakfast and this is definitely the place to be. They do close at 2:30 so I do recommend going early we got there around 12 it was kind of crowded however were able to find outdoor seating which worked out perfectly because the weather was beautiful. I have the Italian frittata and my dad recently told me he's Cutting out meat so he has a vegetarian omelette which came with zucchini inside and it was great to be honest specially the salad and toast. Came in to this location for the first time on a Sunday morning and I'm glad I had put my name on the online waiting out because it was PACKED! When I came in I checked in with the hostess and got our table in less than 10 min. Nice and cozy location with indoor and outdoor sitting. Everything on the menu looks in the healthier side. (Cage-free eggs, organic, multi grain, etc) Our server Sage was super nice and quick. We started with coffee which we got our own pot and it was hot and fresh. For breakfast we had the avocado toasts with fried eggs and a side of chicken sausage; and the work's omelette. Both plates were very filling and tasty. I ordered the works omelette which came with sausage, bacon, ham, and mushrooms. I also got a choice of fruit, potatoes, or grits. I chose cheesy grits. I also hot toast which came with some delicious preserves, the toast tasted like it was freshly baked bread, which was a big plus. My friend got the waffle with sausage and an egg. We also got fresh donuts came with preserves and chocolate sauce. Everything was delicious fresh and piping hot. This restaurant has a huge parking lot so If you were to drive there, parking is easy.
