Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl, Carrot Cake & Pecan Waffle, Morning Meditation drink
    Kiara N.

I needed a little treat after a hectic morning--and an even busier weekend. It was mid-morning on a Tuesday, and I figured, why not take myself out on a breakfast date? I'm not usually a breakfast person, but after two failed attempts at trying First Watch, this felt like the perfect time to finally give it a go. I got there at just the right moment--not too crowded, but clearly not in a rush to clean the tables either. I had my eye on a cozy corner spot, but the first table was dirty... and so was the second. So, I waited a bit. No big deal. My server took a little while to make it over, but honestly, that worked out--I was overwhelmed by the menu, especially the drink options! After some serious deliberation, I landed on the Morning Meditation drink, the Chicken Pesto Quinoa Power Bowl, and just one Carrot Cake & Pecan pancake (which turned out to be massive). I left so full, but so satisfied. Everything I ordered hit the spot. The bowl was flavorful, the pancake was indulgent, and the drink was light and refreshing. No complaints here. I don't know if this will become a regular spot--there were a lot of egg-heavy dishes, and I'm not big on eggs--but there's a decent variety, and I'm glad I finally got to try it.

The food was amazing! The service was really good. It's a cute spot, lots of seating available and in a great location. I really enjoyed it.

This was a great experience and I would highly recommend that you try out this chain if you have the opportunity. The menu is diverse and interesting, with a variety of options for different tastes. The service was friendly and efficient. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and must say the eggs were perfectly cooked. The whites were just barely solid while the yolk was warm and yummy! I am already looking forward to another visit.

First Watch has amazing breakfast. The atmosphere is calm and workers are super nice and attentive. I always get the Tri-fecta with pancakes 10/10. And don't forget those crispy breakfast potatoes!!

    The French toast is big.

I love breakfast food and this is one of my favorite spots for it. They always have good seasonal options on the menu that my husband usually orders and enjoys. But I almost always get the French toast because it's big, thick and delicious. They also have really good avocado toast. We always receive great service too. If you're going on a weekend, check in ahead online because the wait can be long. The bathrooms are always clean too.

In town for my daughter's surgery and we stopped by this fine establishment. We were greeted immediately and sat. I had the Shrimp and Grits and my wife had the blueberry pancakes with eggs and turkey sausage. The food as well as the ambiance was top tier. 10/10

Stopped by this First Watch while on vacation, and it was a good experience! I've been to other locations in Miami and Orlando, but food-wise, I think this one might be the best yet. There was plenty of parking, the ambiance was nicely decorated and inviting, and it felt spacious and clean. The staff was fine--not overly friendly, but courteous. Most importantly, the food was good and came out quickly. Here's what we tried: * Steak & Eggs Hash - Very good * Cheese Grits & Ham - The grits were great, though the ham was just okay * Scrambled Eggs, Cheese, & Bacon - Very good * Over Easy Eggs, Breakfast Potatoes, & Rye Toast - Okay * Sweet Iced Tea - Very good * Purple Haze - Very good * Hot Chocolate - Just okay One small hiccup: our waitress didn't let us know we needed to pay up front, so we waited around for a bit. But other than that, she was nice and accommodating. Overall, I'd come back to this location--it was a solid experience with a welcoming vibe!

I ordered online for pick up and my order was ready when I arrived. I did have a slight issue with the website, it wouldn't let me choose my side. It was stuck on field greens but I wanted potatoes. I added a note in the order that said potatoes please and they fulfilled my order as requested. I love this omelette! It has everything in it: bell peppers, onions, sausage, bacon, cheese, mushrooms and of course eggs. It is seasoned perfectly and the potatoes are so delicious, they are seasoned perfectly and have sautéed onions in them. The perfect breakfast!

Arrived for mid day brunch party of 1. The place was pretty busy but since I was alone I sat at the "community table" which is a tabletop of probably 8 that operates more or less like bar seating but it was actually pretty cool. The waiter was very attentive to be so busy. I was impressed with the food taste as it's been a while since I was last at FW and remember not being impressed. But everything I had was tasted. I had the traditional breakfast. Eggs with cheese, chicken sausage, potatoes and toast. The toast was the best part! Ohhh and this iced coffee with crunch on top was soooo good. I was slurping and picking the crunch out. I'd get that for takeout just because.

Stopped by for an early breakfast shortly after they opened one morning. Only one other party was inside, so the restaurant was quiet, which was nice for a slow start to the morning. No one was at the hostess stand when we walked in, but we only waited about a minute for someone to come out and greet us. As we were walking, I noticed that the floor was a little sticky in some spots. Once we were seated at our table, it didn't take very long for our server to come ask for our drink orders. My husband ordered kale tonic juice, which he's had and enjoyed both here and another location a few times. He also ordered the Tri-fecta, which comes with two eggs any style, a waffle or pancake, and your choice of meat. He chose scrambled eggs, the Belgian waffle, and chicken sausage plus a side of grits. He said the sausage was too sweet and tasted differently than at other locations. The grits weren't seasoned at all. He said they tasted like "buttered water" lol, and the texture was off. But the eggs and waffle were good. I ordered the Bacado omelet, which comes with bacon, avocado, Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream, and pico de gallo. The avocado was pretty brown and there was waaaaay too much chopped bacon! I had to move the avocado aside, and I spent so much time removing bacon from the omelet that I didn't even think to take a picture of the pile I left on the side of my plate. I removed literally the equivalent of at least four slices of medium sized bacon strips and still had a decent amount inside. And I never received the pico de gallo that was supposed to come with the omelet. We both had somewhere to be afterward, and the server was pleasant, so we didn't make a fuss over it all. But more than likely, we won't be back to this location again.

    My order.

He was very patient answering many questions about the menu. My mom has a lot of food sensitivities so she has to be very specific about what she eats. Hands down the best thing on the table was my shrimp and grits! The shrimp had just the right amount of Cajun seasoning, the grits were smooth and cheesy, the vegan sausage was nice and savory, and I loved the little grilled piece of focaccia bread. My fiancé loved the Kirkwood Breakfast. Especially the lavender biscuit and the preserves that went with it. He was also a huge fan of the honey bacon. My mom also got the Kirkwood breakfast, but she opted to get the eggs without the boursin cheese because of her food issues. My niece's boyfriend got the challa French toast and WOW it was a sight to see! Huge fluffy piece of French toast, topped with fresh berries, and a ricotta cheese blend. He seemed quite happy with it, although it was a little on the fence with the texture of ricotta, I'm thinking he probably hasn't had that before so I didn't know it was kind of like a cottage cheese texture. I got a lavender infused lemonade, nonalcoholic drink from the bar, and it was an absolute delight! I was surprised when they only charged me $4 for it, I felt like that was a great price for a delicious drink. My only constructive criticism to them would be to let people know that they add a 20% gratuity to every check. I don't mind paying that and honestly usually tip more but I do appreciate when a server will at least circle that on the check or let you know verbally .

As many restaurants do for Valentine's Day, they offered a prix fixe menu including a starter (wonderful chestnut soup), main (we chose a savory crepe with sautéed chicken), and dessert (a light raspberry puff pastry). Each course was delicious and accented by additional Valentine's touches (see photos). Service was on point and we were well taken care of throughout the night with each course arriving in a timely manner.
