Veggie Omelette with goat cheese, grits & whole grain toast

First time at this First Watch, got a cold brew coffee that was meh, had the veggie omelet with goat cheese, that was really good. Both the Ft Myers & Cape Coral restaurants have nice ambiance, service is always quick.

    Short Rib Omelette (It's amazing!)

Looking for a great breakfast, brunch, or lunch place? Look no further than here - First Watch will satisfy on all levels. Surveying their menu, I noticed their seasonal offering of the "short rib omelette ". The ingredients sounded tasty and intriguing - I mean short ribs in an omelette?? ... what culinary genius! I passed on potatoes and toast and went with their "greens" as my side. The omelette arrived fresh and hot off the griddle. My first taste can best be described as "WOW!" The omelette consists of short ribs braised in red wine, house-roasted shallots and Crimini mushrooms, fresh spinach and mozzarella cheese, and topped with Parmesan cream sauce and fresh herbs. The combination of all these made for an amazing taste! The organic greens with lemon dressing was a perfect pairing for a very satisfying meal. Our server was polite, courteous and friendly. I like that you're greeted when you walk in and wished a happy day upon leaving. If you haven't been here I highly recommend you check them out - and try their short rib omelette (thank me later, ha!).

As usual- excellent food! I tried the "to go" option for the first time. The food was fast, fresh and still warm when I got back to the hotel 11miles away. Packaged nicely and hot beverages secure. I'm always happy with my Million Dollar Bacon!

Avocado and Crab Toast with eggs over easy! Winner! This one rocked!! Get it

Lunch here was awesome! 2 adults, 2 Three Year Olds and baby had a really great Brunch together. Very accommodating to kids- kids coloring placemat and a 3-pack of crayons, kids lidded cups with bendy straws and a nice selection of kid friendly foods. Kids got a giant and I mean GIANT chocolate chip pancake $5.99. It was the size of the plate- plenty for each of the 3 year olds. We don't eat meat so we subbed fruit for the bacon or sausage side- easy! Kids also wanted cheese yet scrambled eggs ($5.50= $3.8 for eggs and $1.7 for cheese) Skip the $5.5 eggs thing amazing. Kids ate. They were Happy = enjoyable brunch for the adults. 2 Mimosas were ordered for the adults! Fresh squeezed and I mean FRESH deliciously squeezed OJ with an individual bottle of Barefoot Bubbly. $8 each Recommend! Salmon and Veg Frittata was good ($11.8) The creme fraise was perfectly placed and balanced the frittata out. Salmon was a little dry and flavorless but the shallots made up for the lack of salmon flavor. Good but I won't get it again. Once is enough Crab and Avo Toast ($14) was excellent! Plenty of avocado and a good portion of crab. Side of eggs over easy and it was a delicious balance of protein and carbs! This I will get again! It says seasonal/special on the menu- hope it makes the cut and stays for a long time.

Very yum food, and extremely filling. Waitress was very nice and attentive. Quiet enough, and good feels.

We managed to get in and out of this First Watch location within an hour or so on a Sunday around 10:30am, which is pretty amazing. Our service was quick & the food was great, the only issue I can see arising ever is the entry- there is little space for those waiting for a table and those attempting to cash out.

Shrimp and grits at first watch very good

The food was magnificent. I had shrimp and grits. It's on the menu as a special, but the rest of the food on that menu was beautiful. The service was very nice and the ambience was a pretty cool place nice relaxing a lot of people were smiling I give it a thumbs up.

Best carrot cake pancakes ever!!! Every time I come to this place that's what I order, they are massive, delicious and so cheap! If I recall correctly it's about $5 for one and $7 for 2. Also ordered the frittata which was good, but nothing compared to the pancakes. To drink, their morning meditation juice is my fav Make sure you get early cuz after 11, you will need to wait in line

The kids had pizza from the children's menu. One of the kids (with allergies) had grilled salmon. Two of the adults had the fire cracker shrimp appetizer (including me). It had a slight kick. The breaded shrimp were slathered in sauce which I scraped off a bit. But the shrimp were good. The other adult had the burger sliders appetizer. He said they were good with plenty of grilled onions. Price wise, it wasn't too bad. The server nicely explained which drinks came with refills and which did not. That was helpful. And she provided crayons and a coloring activity page to keep the kids busy. We wouldn't normally come to a hotel restaurant unless we were staying nearby. But if you have a kid into baseball, they would like the decor, the photos, and all the TVs showing sports.

What makes Mango Rita's so special is the incredible lineup of tribute bands they bring in every week. If you grew up on the music of the 70s, 80s, and 90s like we did, this place is a dream. We've seen amazing tributes to bands like KISS, Duran Duran, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, Mötley Crüe and more--and the quality of the bands is outstanding. In fact, the shows are so good that we sometimes plan our trips to Fort Myers around which bands are playing! Beyond the music, the atmosphere is fantastic and the crowd always seems to be having a great time. It's one of those places where everyone is there to enjoy the music and have fun. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners, J.J. and her husband, and hearing their story. They previously owned one of the largest nightclubs on the East Coast in Maryland before bringing their passion for live music to Fort Myers Beach. After Hurricane Ian destroyed their original location, they rebuilt their vision further inland--and we're so glad they did. And the parking lot was packed. On a Tuesday. So we thought "what the heck." The less than happy hostess let us know their indoor dining room was booked, but we could be seated at an outside table on the deck. So first advice- make a reservation. Even on a Tuesday in February. We were hesitant, but the shades were drawn, creating a wind barrier, and the fires were plentiful. We actually lucked out. Because working the deck was James, the most funny, engaging, witty yet sarcastic waiter. Ask to be seated in his section. Wait for a table of his to open if you have time. You'll thank me later. Now for the food. This place offers a little bit of everything, so if you're dining with friends and family, everyone should find something to their liking. For appetizers we started with their Bruschetta and Calamari. The bruschetta is like not normal, it's COVERED in cheese, and I'm not complaining one bit. It basically made them like little slices of pizza. 6 pieces. Delicious. The calamari was fine. A good portion with a decent marinade dip. For entrees we had their special of the night, lobster mac, plus steak salad, Bouillabaisse and pasta primavera. Dinner is also served with bread and an olive oil dip. The steak salad is a terrific value, for $20 you can't make this at home any cheaper. And the steak is seasoned well and served with a honey mustard dressing, which is good, but this would be better with a horseradish based dressing. The lobster Mac comes in a very generous portion, with lots of chunky lobster, three different cheeses and breadcrumbs. I hate to see lobsters terrific flavor concealed with anything but a dash of mayo or butter, but this dish slaps. The pasta primavera is fine, it's pasta with a ton of veggies (we added chicken). But the star of the show was the Bouillabaisse. Apparently Cristof has some creole cooking background, or inspiration, or something. Our waiter James said this was his second favorite dish here (the scallops dish was #1) but I'm here to tell you, I don't care if you are only so so like shrimp, or are unsure about mussels, get this dish and you will be licking the bowl dry. It's that good. For dessert we got tiramisu, key lime pie, pecan pie and a this ice cream thing covered in chocolate (like a truffle) with a cherry middle. Sorry, can't remember its name, didn't take any pics because we got them to go, and forgot to ask if any were made in house. They were priced like they were made in their kitchen, and we would order any of these again, so go for it if you like your sweets! We are in this area once a year and will definitely be back, and maybe you'll consider going off the beaten path and trying out this spot too!
