Amazing place. Great service, great energetic atmosphere. Amazing healthy food options, it's not often that you see quinoa on a breakfast menu. Our server Joy was very accommodating. One person in our party was a vegetarian with a gluten free and lactose free diet and there was plenty on the menu that fit that criteria and adjustments were made to the squash quinoa for her. My husband had basic breakfast with eggs and sausage and a pancake and said it was one of the best pancakes he ever had. He had the bacon cheddar one. I can't explain how amazing this place is! I've been wanting to come here since I lived in Virginia but since they close around two I never did. Ever time I tell my self I'm gonna come I never do. Randomly I decided okay today is the day, I'm gonna check them out! So after sitting down we ordered our drinks and food. When the food came, my mouth dropped to the floor! Now, if anyone follows me on Instagram you will know that I am a foodie; I love food. The food was amazing, the only thing I would change is, I put seasoning on the Omelette to make it more appetizing. My omelette had goat cheese inside which I do not like goat cheese so I just kind of scraped it to the side but even the eggs were very bland so it wasn't a huge pot with the omelette. Another thing is I'm not really a big fan of a lot of butter being in my food and I didn't really like that they drowned the grits in butter. Usually if they have grits in the butter they'll put it on top and I could just scrape it off but They put a lot of butter in the grits to where you couldn't really avoid it but the grits were really good. My boyfriend ordered a pancake that was the size of his head and his pancake was so amazing I was so shocked walking out of this establishment and I can tell you one thing I will be coming back!!! read more

I will never eat here again. Which is unfortunate because I've spent almost every Tuesday eating here with my 81 year old mother. They were trying to force us to mask up to walk literally 3 feet to a table. For people who struggle to breath such as my mother, a mask is not an option. No masks at the table but a mask to get to our table? If people still think this is about our health, they are delusional. We will never be back. Only reason I came here is because the first 3 breakfast places I went to were closed on Mondays (an occupational hazard for anyone in the service industry). This is my favorite place for breakfast and lunch. I've never had a bad meal here ever. The food is fresh and original. My favorite was the Key West crepe, which isn't on the menu anymore, but when I request it they make it for me. Absolutely fresh and delicious food. The French toast is perfect. I had breakfast potatoes that did not need gravy.... basically like finding a unicorn! They were extremely tasty!!! FRESH squeezed orange juice was so delicious make sure you order the large. Super friendly and helpful staff. Much better than your average chain restaurant. The decor is so trendy. Not happy. Eggs must have been old. Got sick! Had the tri-fecta. Overcrowded and overrated. Slow to get food -- others at table had food 15 before I did. Took whole day to feel slightly better. Won't eat there again. Thank you for your concern. I was writing about my experience and didn't include that two others in my party fell ill as well yet not to the degree I had. as you see I was in after church and submitted my review many hours later because I was ill and slept into the evening. In line with the other location in Estero, wonderful!!! The kale tonic is an awesome juice beverage and everything I've had has been awesome (i.e., sandwiches, soup, breakfast, etc.). It's clean, it's bright, it's in a strip mall. The staff are friendly, the food comes quickly, there are a lot of healthy-looking options on the menu, and if it's your first time they do deliver a fruit crepe to your table (to split among however many people are there). Those are the pluses and the neutral facts. The minuses for me were: 1) bad-breath smells. I'm not sure how this got started, but when I went into the women's room it smelled like somebody with a bad case of tooth decay had been in there mouth-breathing for a long time. Nobody was in there, but eww. I washed my hands and quickly left. Then they seated an older couple behind us and dang, there it was again, an "I should have brushed 'em but I forgot" smell that just kind of curdled the last 15 minutes of my meal. Could not wait to get out of there! 2) The music. Can you say, "what kind of music do you think they'd play at a Tea Party rally?" That was it. Can't just be sunshine and buttercups, we had to drag in Failure of Democracy and the Second Amendment. Not my idea of a dandy soundtrack to a peaceful breakfast. Guess I should have figured that one out when they had a breakfast special up on the chalkboard called "The Patriot," and not referring to football (the waitress, who was very nice and very fast with our food, made a joke about The Patriot). 3) The avocado in my omelet was not ripe; it was kind of hard. So, yeah, glad to try it, but I'll keep looking; Bennett's Fresh Roasted is really good, although it's up on first in the area north of the Edison estate; kind of a long way to go. Will update when I find a good local breakfast place closer to the McGregor between Cypress Lake and College area. Until then, First Watch is an alternative, and maybe the music is less loud and opinionated at other times. I love eating at First Watch when I come to Ft. Myers. The food comes out fast and it's always yummy. On our most recent trip I ordered the daily special which was a Cinnabon pancake, 2 eggs and 2 pieces of bacon. There could have been a little more icing on the pancake but I was happy with my choice. I have had salads and sandwiches there too. There are multiple First Watch restaurants and they seem to have an excellent following. In my opinion the prices are a little on the high side for a breakfast place but at least the food is consistent and I will pay a little more for that. read more

If you can get past the fact that they are trying to be far fancier than breakfast should really be, the food was quite good. I had a bacon and avocado hash served with two perfectly cooked over medium eggs on top with a small side of fruit and a mug of well made coffee. My husband had a chorizo and green chilli college that was also very good although he couldn't get past the fact that salad greens were the go to side if you didn't specify otherwise. All in all though the food was well cooked, fresh, and more unique that tradition breakfast fare albeit the portion sizes were a tad small (except for the pancake my daughter ordered which was as big as her head) and a bit pricer than traditional breakfast options. read more

I am currently at the restaurant. I am here with my son and his friend (children) and one ordered sweet tea and one ordered non sweet tea. When the waiter brought the drinks, he mildly says "sorry, I forgot which cup is the sweet tea" and proceeds to leave the cups on the table. As a former waitress myself, I would never have delivered the drinks if I didn't know which was which. I said I would take the child's drink (in the kid's cup) because my son and his friend didn't want to "taste and find out". The waiter let me take the kid's drink and didn't say a word.
