Excellent late morning breakfast at First Watch. Love their variety of food and excellent service.

Be ready for a long wait if you decide to wait. Left waiting over 45 min with other guests signing in after us being seated. Finally left after the 3rd couple coming in after us were seated before us and went to eggs up grill where we were told 30 min wait but were seated in 5 by a friendly associate who could teach your group how to jour a smile on their faces and pick up the service speed. read more

The service was wonderful and the food was on point. The hostess section seems a bit chaotic and a lack of structure but, the food is worth the wait and the price. It reminded me of the one in Nashville,TN. The flavor of everything was similar. Definitely will come back. So glad to have one in Memphis/Germantown read more

Save your money. Paid $14 for the chickichanga and a side of cheese grits. Cheese grits were maybe four bites. Hardly a side. Chickichanga had a few pieces of chicken, egg and chorizo. Expected more, got much less. Definitely not worth the $. read more

Everything was perfect!!! Staff were all so friendly and great. Food was hot and fresh. The inside is beautiful I love first watch!!! Highly recommend million dollar bacon and million dollar potatoes. The morning meditation drink is my absolute favorite too! read more

Probably the worst breakfast place I have been to ever for the price. I ordered the chickenchanga and I'm pretty sure they forgot to put any chicken in it. I had to go back and look at the menu to make sure it included chicken and it just wasn't a play on words for egg being in it. Some of the potatoes were undercooked and raw. The million dollar bacon also was an undercooked floppy mess. We will not be going back to this place. read more

Horrible experience. Icompetent hostess. She failed at the First Watch primary focus of comfort to the customer. Wife and I languished standing for 40 minutes waiting to be seated. I noticed several empty tables and the wait line was at a stand still. I approached the hostess inquiring about this long wait and she said she was giving the kitchen a break to catch up before seating anyone else. How incompetent, leave the customer standing when they could be sitting at a table. We left and went to another restaurant. This hostess is not a good fit to this fast paced enviornment, would probably do better cleaning tables. Pathetic experience. read more

Visited First Watch this morning. I was impressed. The ambiance was great. Open layout, bright, modern and CLEAN. The food was delicious. I had The Works omelette with potatoes.Loved it. My husband the wrap. Loved it. My daughter had the breakfast sandwich said it was amazing. But most importantly was the service. It was very busy but that did not stop our server Ashley from being attentive and FRIENDLY. She anticipated our every need. Never forgot to smile and showed that we were important to her. Unfortunately that is rare these days. She was awesom. We will definitely go back. read more

We dined here when this location first opened and had a good experience. So we were really disappointed with this experience last weekend. We expected it to be busy, but the service was incredibly disappointing. We put ourselves on the waitlist and waited 50 mins on a busy Sunday. When we were seated by the hostess 15-20 mins went by before we ever got a server to stop by our table. He then passed our table letting us know he'd be back shortly. It took another 20 mins for him to come back. The server then came back and took our drink order. It took a while to get our drinks. We had 2 toddlers with us, and for some reason the adults all got their drinks but the kids didn't. I mentioned that the juices hadn't come out and it took another few mins to get those. We then finally were able to order our food. We probably waited for 45 mins for our food to come out. The food came out sporadically which leaves an awkward situation at the table, but what was most frustrating was that our 3 year old son got a half waffle and bacon from the kids menu. Every adults food came before his food and then it took an additional 35 mins to get a KIDS MEAL!! When I mentioned this to the server TWICE, I was told that the kitchen was really busy and food comes out sporadically. He then proceeded to ask if he should just take the kids meal off, to which I responded then what is my toddler going to eat while everyone else sits here and eats? The waffle finally came out and was disheveled and looked unappetizing. To add to this, my brother ordered an additional pancake with his food, and didn't get it until he was already done eating. My niece who is also a toddler got a kids egg and sausage and only got a place of scrambled eggs with no meat. We also in the 2.5 HOURS we were there we didn't get a single refill of our drinks, and even after we asked for one it never came. We sat finished with our food for 30 mins waiting on a ticket when we were told by another server that our server was having computer issues, all for the tickets to be all mixed up. At that point we were all so frustrated and ready to leave that we just paid the tickets and venmo eachother for the meals. The server even knew how frustrated we were and proceeded to ask "was the food at least good?" Overall I would never recommend this place to anyone. Clearly they aren't prepared for the crowds they have. read more

First day at this location, whatever you do add yourself to waitlist 1.5 hour wait. Food was good, not a fan of grits. Bread was good and Bacon was excellent. Need regular creamer on the table please. Potatoes not cut small enough to be done but flavor good. It was cold in the restaurant, front doors needed to be closed. read more

I was so excited to experience first watch the first time I came the service was amazing but this time around it was unpleasant. My partner and I felt like we were being rushed and were getting stares and eye rolls from our server. Maybe it was just a bad day but the food here is always great. read more

I ate at here on 11/06/2025 with a group my former coworkers and manager! The food, service and ambiance did not disappoint! I had the Traditional Breakfast with coffee and it was absolutely delicious! The tators (potatoes) had a great well seasoned taste! The server did a great job in serving our group! My 1st experience was bad. So we decided to return since the newness has worn off. Our Service was awful and so was the food. Our food came out cold. And it was replaced one at a time. Therefore the second meal was cold once everything arrived. We had to get our refills from another server. Plus we didn't receive a discount on the cold food like they said. Only 2 out of the 3 of us got our food. One meal NEVER showed! We had previously dined at a First Watch in Columbus and the food, service and ambiance were excellent. Considering this restaurant opened a few weeks ago it is possible that the management has already left for vacation. read more

The food was really good. This was our second attempt of trying this place. The first time wait was ridiculous was told 30 min to 1 hr said ok and went shopping came back 1.10ths later since I had not received a text. She said about another 30 asked how many folks ahead. Literally we got the text that we where next and to start heading to see the hostess 2.50hrs later and of course where gone. This time was much better and the food was great. I would definitely go back and try other things on the menu. You have to request syrup they do not have it on the table and if you ask for maple it's a charge it on the menu I didn't see it until after the fact the regular syrup is free but you have to request it read more

Met some friends here for our first time visit and it was great. Our waitress KayKay was fantastic, such a beautiful spirit and an asset to the waitstaff. The food was just as good and beautifully plated as it looked on their website. The noise level is a little high but the atmosphere is perfect for a small gathering. We'll definitely be back! Good brunch food, good location. Servers are nice. I'm not sure if the servers or the kitchen is a little slow, but every First Watch I've ever been to (even in other states) seems to be slower than other brunch restaurants but don't seem to serve as many people. This location was a little slow but not as bad as other First Watch locations. read more

So First Watch is in the old Chilis spot in Gtown. Decor was nice and bright. Was excited to try the Nutella donut holes, double bacon Parmesan hash and lemon ricotta pancakes. The donut holes were disappointing, dry with very little Nutella. I'm spoiled by the Nutella beignets at Voodoo Cafe. Not fair to compare but.... The lemon ricotta pancakes were very good the lemon curd was great and pancakes were huge. The bacon Parmesan hash was good but too many onions in the potatoes, it was very flavorful and the lemony arugula on top was a nice addition. Overall good breakfast. read more

Honestly not impressed at all. Food overall just lacks flavor. I noticed that they use a bunch of salt, but little to no flavor in return. I think that every dish has serious potential if they would just put down the salt, and pick the flavor seasonings . The ambiance and service was fantastic. Overally 5/10 read more

Went there on a Friday at about 12:30. Waited just a few minutes and were seated on the enclosed patio. We'd heard a lot of good comments on locations in other cities. Food was decent. Good taste, big portions. There were some rough edges that need to be fixed. Menus were never removed from the table. Ordered Diet Coke and ice water for drinks and those took about 15 minutes to get to the table. Everything took way longer than necessary. Had to mask twice for everything. Drink refills, and the check. These things can all be corrected with a little coaching. read more

From beginning to end the experience was bad and I've been to other First Watch in different cities and had never experienced this before. We added our name to the waitlist and once we arrived we were told it would be 15mins and that turned out to be a total of 40min wait. Then once seated it took almost 10mins before anyone came and took our order. Once we got our order the food was bad. The chicken pesto quinoa bowl tasted as if the kale had not been washed and tasted gritty. Also my husband's eggs had kale in them and he tasted the gritty as well. It was just frustrating and BAD! Was seated for at least 10 minutes before waiter approached the table. This was after I inquired as to where my waiter was. Service was extremely slow. They were fully staffed out front. I had the honor of trying First Watch with my family of four today and guys it was fabulous!! The restaurant is decorated very nicely on the inside and quite spacious. Our service was quite good and the food was spectacular!! We loved the Nutella doughnuts for a starter. Our pancakes & tacos were also fabulous. We can't wait to return!!! read more

I'm only giving one star and cannot give any stars for Food or Service since no one acknowledged us after 15-20 minutes of being seated this morning. My husband and I took our coffee mugs from the table and went and filled it at the coffee urn for those who are waiting (which no one was waiting). We then left after we finished that cup of coffee we served ourselves, with still no one coming to our table - no water, no nod, no one literally speaking to us after the hostess seated us. The coffee was good. I did let the hostess know we were leaving since no one ever came to our table. It's not as if they were slammed busy either. Next time I'll sit at the bar where we are directly in front of someone and not totally ignored. read more

The food at First Watch is absolutely wonderful. The service - and the staff - are similarly fantastic. Why the 4 star review? I will give them a fiver as soon as - and NOT until - they get some sort of noise abatement treatment on the inside. It is incredible that a chain of the quality and success of FW allows this to happen. I'll wait 2-3 months and give them another shot. As is, the background noise there is absolutely deafening when the restaurant is at capacity. The other First Watch locations I've been to DO NOT have this issue at all and even factories are not allowed to have noise this loud for sustained periods. read more

My daughter and I went for the first time this morning at 7:12am. Let's start with the pros, we were greeted several times with smiling faces, seated right away. Now for the cons, our waitress asked if it was our first time and we said yes and the only thing suggested and described was the coffee and that they didn't have the full menu until November. We got our iced coffee, hot chocolate and water right away. We had to send the cup for water back twice due to it visibly being dirty. Our food came out after a 35 minute wait, which was surprising since there weren't many people there yet. My order was wrong and had to be sent back, another 10 minute wait. When o got my food my daughter wax almost done, opened the silverware, it had egg and something green caked on the fork, sent it back, they brought out more, also dirty. They brought out plastic ware, at this point I had the ick. I asked for a to go plate, my daughter said the million dollar bacon was just okay and her blueberry pancake and eggs were nothing great either. Overpriced, not clean will not be back. The ambiance is good because the restaurant is new...however, they need to work on food quality and service. Our pancakes were obviously cold (the butter didn't melt) and my eggs were extremely cold. We spoke with the manager, and she checked the time our food stayed under the warmer and only removed the drinks from our ticket. The server was very slow; it was not a good experience. read more

Great food. Call ahead seating on a Sunday is the way to go. Unfortunately on a Sunday it probably took a good 45 minutes to get our food.
