Tri-Fecta® sub the waffle with Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast

I went for a birthday brunch an hour before closing. Since I already knew where my party was seated I didn't really interact with the check in desk. Our waiter was very nice and sweet, letting us know what all our options were and being very patient. While we were eating he was periodically checking in on us. I ordered the Tri fecta plate but subbed the pancake for the tres leches French toast. The bacon was nice very crispy and crunchy. I asked for over easy eggs , and to me these were more on the over medium side. The French toast in my opinion even with the whip cream and strawberries was a little dry without syrup. When it was time to pay it was unclear where to pay (if the waiter was going to take our card or if we go to the check in table) we went to the check in table but there wasn't anybody there (at this point they were cleaning up the restaurant) so we paid online. All and all everything was okay.

I honestly think this might be the busiest location in the DFW area. It was so packed. I put a group of 5-6 on the waiting list and starting time said 45 mins to an hour. But the time we got there we were still probably waited almost 20-30 mins to be seated. The check in process was really easy. I just wish this location had more adequate seating for larger parties. It was raining and cold but since it was taking a while to get seating inside for our group we opted out to sit outside since it was covered. Another party of 2 outside were being served quickly so we decided to do it. We sat outside on the patio. It only had two heaters that weren't blowing very strong. It did take a little time for the hostess to come out to our table. I got the Tri-Fecta with scrambled eggs, french toast, and upgraded to million dollar bacon to try for the first time. Also got a side of the million dollar potatoes. I wasn't a fan of the million dollar bacon unfortunately, or the potatoes. Now the million dollar potatoes I've had better at another location. Everything else was good!

The taste never misses, never fails. Whether I'm eating a regular like a huge pancake (multigrain, chocolate chip, regular, you name it!), or trying seasonal items, the flavor of the dishes at First Watch is always exceptional. I have no qualms with them. Except maybe the sadness I feel when the seasons change and seasonal items that I've come to love have to go away. Oh! I always get the potatoes on the side with my meals. Their pancakes (not burgers, I was sleepy lol) are a favorite item for me there. I love to get The Traditional or The Tri-Fecta breakfast classics.

Had a good experience (as always)! This was my first time at the Grand Prairie location. Although the wait was long, the food came out not too long after we ordered. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I got the Honey Chipotle Chicken Hash - great quantity and good taste. It was on the speciality Fall Menu (which is about to end soon!). The million dollar bacon was, of course, sweet and hearty. If you have a sweet tooth, I recommend!

Really nice spot to enjoy breakfast brunch and/or lunch. We enjoyed the steak and eggs hash, grits, million dollar bacon and pineapple express drink. The bacon didn't stand out, as the name implies. I've had better. My favorite was the blueberry conbread wuth lemon butter! Nevertheless, everything was good and well prepared. I'll definitely be back.

I finally got to try this place. I like that they have big portion of French toast and that blueberry cornbread. The eggs seem like it was smaller, but love the fresh orange juice.

This place was just kind of disappointing. The food was expensive, which wouldn't be an issue if it was good, but it was kind of just bland. It took a very long time to come out. We ordered unsweet teas, and our waitress brought us sweet tea instead and then took a really long time to fix it after we were done eating we had to wait probably 15 minutes for a check. We were sitting outside on the patio and it just felt like we were forgotten about because it seemed like that was the place where all the employees took their breaks to eat and they forgot there was actually customers out there.

Celebrated a birthday the food was just ok over priced and I asked my eggs to be cooked over medium and when I received them the white was still runny now I like a soft yoke but the white has to be cooked and I asked for syrup and it took the young lady around 5 minutes by then my pancakes were cold but she finally came back to correct me about the eggs per the kitchen but my thing is just cook them the way I like and stop schooling me about the eggs telling me that I really should have ask for medium hard but I don't like my yoke hard so I'm not sure if I will be visiting them again just a waste of money with the bad service I could have done a better job at home only thing we're good was the potatoes

Came in for brunch and was seated right away. The outside patio was nice and enjoyable. Xavier was a great server! He was patient, kind and kept a million dollar smile on the whole time. I went on a Friday in the middle of November and they were more busy than I anticipated, but were quick to make sure people were greeted and sat. The staff was friendly and ready to help get me seated right away when I sat on the bench waiting for a friend to join me. I ordered the cinnamon chip pancake meal they had since it caught my eye online and I'd definitely say it was worth it for a sweet tooth. I also had a mimosa to celebrate my birthday and had no regrets of getting birthday brunch there! Would definitely recommend giving them a try between the friendly staff and clean open tables.

It's always busy here, best to get there early to get in the waitlist. If you get in the waitlist online you still have to go inside to check in, otherwise you won't be checked in. This happened to me once when I got on their waitlist online and the hostess said that I was not checked in because I didn't go inside to let them know I was there. Their portions are small. The French toast was good. Giving this review a 3 star because there is a long waiting period before you get your food after ordering. read more

Was excited to visit this location because of the great reviews. Was very surprised and disappointed. I ordered the chorizo omelet and my friend ordered the traditional breakfast. The coffee was hot and very good. The toast was perfectly toasted and the jelly was very tasty. Now for the disappointing part of the meal. They forgot to put chorizo in the chorizo omelet. The omelet was over cooked and dry and all you could taste were all the grilled onions in it. After bring it to the attention of the server, she brought me about two tablespoons of chorizo in a small bowl. The breakfast was already cold after having to waited awhile for our order in the first place. My friends potatoes were very flavorful, but the link sausage had no flavor at all. The reason for the three star is only because the restaurant was very clean. read more

Such a great spot! Do yourself a favor and grab breakfast or brunch there. You might want to try to go on a weekday as I have heard weekends arE endlessly busy...for a good reason. The food is top notch and the staff is so great! I was helped by Jasmine and she was on point, friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu. I had the BLT Benny and it's every bit as good as it sounds. And the accompanying salad was simply wonderful. Fresh ingredients, excellent preparation and beautiful presentation made for a great experience. But I can't oversell the staff! I'll be back next time I'm in the area. read more

So I took my parents the Saturday before Father's Day, so it wouldn't be so crowded compared to Father's Day because my mom is going thru chemo and my dad had a triple bypass a little bit ago and still needs help waking. . So we get there and I've already signed up for the waiting before we arrive because I want to make sure it's a smooth experience for my parents and just to be sure we are good to go. So I tell the hostess we want to sit outside, the outside patio is super close to the handicap spots and would be easy for my dad to walk to. She says a lot without saying anything. I told her that I know the table only seats 4 and we needed 5 plus high chair. She says no. So I'm like my dad is super super slow can we get a table right by the door. She says yes so tell her ok it's gonna be a few min because again my dad is slow. so I go outside get everyone and my dad at least 10 min later we make it inside and she's given the table to someone else. There's a huge line behind my dad because no one can get in the because he's in the way. So I look at her like what the heck?! She finds us a table far again and I'm like whatever we just need to sit, my dad is exhausted at this point. So we take another 15 min get to our table. Then we eat and get up to leave and start the long walk out, I get to the patio area and after being told I couldn't out 5 chairs at a table, she has sat a party of 5 outside. Needless to say it was a horrible exp. I didn't enjoy it, my parents didn't enjoy it. Not once did an employee offer to help with even opening the door. read more

We've been to several of these restaurants and they never disappoint! Great food and excellent service. Nice atmosphere and outdoor seating if weather permits. Many choices on their menu and their coffee is also good. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for breakfast or brunch. You won't go hungry at this restaurant. read more

This place is more on the healthier side, so if that's your thing, I'd recommend. It was so packed, from dining in and to-go service. I suggest getting there early since they don't stay open past 2:30. So, that might mean getting there as soon as they open because if not, you'll be waiting forever. At least on a Sunday. Or join the waitlist before heading over! read more

Trendy describes it perfectly. It was loud and crowded - not cozy. Maybe I'm too behind the times but I didn't feel comfortable here. My friends ordered the Million Dollar Bacon and the Avocado Toast. I had the Floridian French toast with fruit and it was good but not outstanding. The food was scrumptious! I ordered the Trifecta with Lemon curd pancake. I never had turkey sausage and it was surprisingly delicious! But going back to the Lemon curd pancake man oh man was that a treat! I didn't even put syrup on it. It was that good! I will definitely be back to try everything else! So refreshing to have a great place for breakfast/brunch/lunch! Their only failing is they do not have mustard; you read that right, no mustard! I'll bring packets next time I go in case so want another of their fab ham and cheese sandwich offering! On our second visit, the eggs Benedict was wonderful - I may never make these at home again! We'll be back on a regular basis! Service was attentive and friendly and while I dislike self-service at restaurants, the options to check out/pay by phone after our meal was easy and prevented having to wait at cashier station! Very disappointed in my service here. I placed an order for curbside pickup and service was so disorganized, it took 30 mins until after the website said it would be ready for me to get my food. There was no instructions on how to pick up up my order (I had to call), no designated parking spot for curbside (I had to hunt down a spot), and no communication (no order status or estimated wait time). The food is not worth the hassle. read more

This is a fabulous breakfast place! The power quinoa bowl was fresh tasting and extremely filling (the vegetables in this dish had such great fresh flavor)! My husband said the tacos were delicious which says a lot considering we are use to breakfast tacos from the border! The atmosphere was clean, open, fresh feeling and friendly. Our server gave us the right amount of attention. A carafe of hot coffee (the coffee mugs are the best, perfect size) and a liter of fresh water. We couldn't have asked for a better way to end our trip to Fort Worth, thank you! read more

We were seated after a short wait (we had jumped in line online ahead) at a great patio table. Our server was prompt and friendly. All of the drinks and food I had were great. The mimosa tastes like fresh squeezed juice and comes with such a cute bottle of Prosecco! The cinnamon toast cereal milk (has alcohol) is a must get, so good!!
