Expensive and fufu type food but so tasty! I haven't had a bad meal there. Will definitely be going back for breakfast.

So I took my parents the Saturday before Father's Day, so it wouldn't be so crowded compared to Father's Day because my mom is going thru chemo and my dad had a triple bypass a little bit ago and still needs help waking. . So we get there and I've already signed up for the waiting before we arrive because I want to make sure it's a smooth experience for my parents and just to be sure we are good to go. So I tell the hostess we want to sit outside, the outside patio is super close to the handicap spots and would be easy for my dad to walk to. She says a lot without saying anything. I told her that I know the table only seats 4 and we needed 5 plus high chair. She says no. So I'm like my dad is super super slow can we get a table right by the door. She says yes so tell her ok it's gonna be a few min because again my dad is slow. so I go outside get everyone and my dad at least 10 min later we make it inside and she's given the table to someone else. There's a huge line behind my dad because no one can get in the because he's in the way. So I look at her like what the heck?! She finds us a table far again and I'm like whatever we just need to sit, my dad is exhausted at this point. So we take another 15 min get to our table. Then we eat and get up to leave and start the long walk out, I get to the patio area and after being told I couldn't out 5 chairs at a table, she has sat a party of 5 outside. Needless to say it was a horrible exp. I didn't enjoy it, my parents didn't enjoy it. Not once did an employee offer to help with even opening the door. read more

Trendy describes it perfectly. It was loud and crowded - not cozy. Maybe I'm too behind the times but I didn't feel comfortable here. My friends ordered the Million Dollar Bacon and the Avocado Toast. I had the Floridian French toast with fruit and it was good but not outstanding. This place is more on the healthier side, so if that's your thing, I'd recommend. It was so packed, from dining in and to-go service. I suggest getting there early since they don't stay open past 2:30. So, that might mean getting there as soon as they open because if not, you'll be waiting forever. At least on a Sunday. The food was scrumptious! I ordered the Trifecta with Lemon curd pancake. I never had turkey sausage and it was surprisingly delicious! But going back to the Lemon curd pancake man oh man was that a treat! I didn't even put syrup on it. It was that good! I will definitely be back to try everything else! I'll bring packets next time I go in case so want another of their fab ham and cheese sandwich offering! On our second visit, the eggs Benedict was wonderful - I may never make these at home again! After not going to this restaurant for several years now, I was pleasantly reminded of how good the food is. One food stood out - lemon ricotta pancakes. They are the best. Very disappointed in my service here. I placed an order for curbside pickup and service was so disorganized, it took 30 mins until after the website said it would be ready for me to get my food. There was no instructions on how to pick up up my order (I had to call), no designated parking spot for curbside (I had to hunt down a spot), and no communication (no order status or estimated wait time). This is a fabulous breakfast place! The power quinoa bowl was fresh tasting and extremely filling (the vegetables in this dish had such great fresh flavor)! My husband said the tacos were delicious which says a lot considering we are use to breakfast tacos from the border! The atmosphere was clean, open, fresh feeling and friendly. Our server gave us the right amount of attention. A carafe of hot coffee (the coffee mugs are the best, perfect size) and a liter of fresh water. I had seen First Watch locations before but never thought much of them, assuming they wouldn't have many options. I was dead wrong--their menu has plenty of variation and is perfect for breakfast or lunch! This place is an excellent choice for anyone watching their calories too, as a meal here has far less calories compared to other breakfast and brunch restaurants. The fact that the food always tastes great is a cherry on top. I'd recommend the Avocado Toast or the Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl. read more

I was fixated on regular pancakes but simply suggesting other options I opted for Banana Pancakes. They were out of this world. It being brunch I expected over priced breakfast food. I ordered "The Traditional" with over medium eggs, potato cuts, bacon , toast and added sausage. Eggs were prepared as expected, potatoes seasoned and cooked to perfection. 4 pieces of bacon and I expected 2 pieces! Sausage premium taste. Toast was not plain white but multi grain. Pricing, very reasonable considering the quality of ingredients. A little more than IHOP, far better though. Misha, our server, came by FREQUENTLY to insure everything was top notch. She replaced my drink twice. Both times when I was mid drink as she noticed my soda had become have water. Also included a soda to go. Wife had a coffee to go. All without asking or mentioning anything. Above and beyond service by Misha. Misha. Misha. Misha. If she is your server you know you'll have above standard service.
