The location is popular so come earlier than seating is needed on Saturday... if during the week you should get seated pretty fast. The hostesses will let you know if they need your number and will text once a table is ready if there is a wait. I went on my birthday and a regular Saturday. The donuts are delicious starter, sweet and warm. I've always ordered hot tea so not sure about any other drinks. The restaurant is crowded but very clean and the seating is roomy. There are Weber's who greet you as they pass and quickly approach to take drink and appetizer orders to help your party to begin. A few of my girl friends and I went to first watch for a Saturday brunch. It was busy but we were able to get a seat. The pomegranate drink was delicious and had the right amount of alcohol in it. I really love First Watch. I originally visited the one in Arlington several years ago and I am OVER the MOON that we have one in Grand Prairie now. They have a fresh juice bar, mimosas and delicious coffee...just to highlight my favs! Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch is available. They are open 7am - 2:30pm. My bf & I went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning, the wait for a table for 2 was 35 minutes for us, so that wasn't too bad at all, we just took a little walk around the shopping center. There was a hostess right inside the door who directed us inside after our wait, & we were seated quickly afterwards. I got the BLT Eggs Benedict, & my bf got a Chorizo omelet, both with potato pieces as a side. Food was great, veggies nice and fresh & portion size for us was nearly perfect (I couldn't finish my whole plate, I got so full, my bad lmao). Our server (Vanessa) made sure to check on us at a pretty steady interval, refilled our drinks without us having to ask, and brought our bill right as we planned to ask, so that was pretty nice (: All in all, this was a great place! My first time at this location and pleasantly surprised to find that there was no wait (I normally see a crowd here when I drive by). I usually love their avocado toast ( who doesn't love avocado toast?!) so that's what I ordered, along with their Million Dollar bacon. The bacon was just "ok". Basically just bacon drizzled with syrup and a few sprinkles of cracked black pepper. I was expecting more of a candied bacon-type of situation so I was definitely underwhelmed. And they are wrong for that name. It should be called 3 dollar bacon. The avocado on the avocado toast was definitely prepackaged stuff and not fresh at all. Another disappointment. But not disappointing enough to make me send any food back (I was REALLY hungry!). Luckily, my breakfast buddy (aka my mom) let me eat some of her potatoes and toast which were both really good. We met my parents to celebrate my dads 50th. This place gets pretty busy! There was a lot of people waiting outside. Luckily they have a wait list that you can join online. I looked at their menu ahead of time and I think I missed their cocktail list. We pretty much got a different drink from each other. I ordered the morning glory and it was so good! Very refreshing and it had a nice kick. I tried the cinnamon toast cereal milk and it tasted like one of those bottled Starbucks drinks you could get at the gas station. The Bloody Mary was good, too spicy for me but then again my fiancé asked for it to be extra spicy! I ordered the elevated egg sandwich and it came with seasoned potatoes. I feel like there was too much bread and not enough yummy goodness inside the sandwich but I just took off the top bun and it was all good! The seasoned potatoes were a little salty in my opinion. Yum! I highly recommend this breakfast spot. It's located in the Epic West shopping center. To give you some landmarks it's where Blaze Pizza, Olive Garden, Burke's Outlet and Burlington are all located. They are allowing dine in services with face masks and social distancing in place and I appreciate them so much for it. I have been deliberately avoiding the restaurants that are operating like food trucks as if unwilling to simply deep clean and operate like a restaurant. First Watch is incredibly clean and bright and every item I've tried on their menu is delicious. I highly recommend their pancakes and million dollar bacon. We visit here often and the in-person visits are the best! Love the seasonal menus. Food is always very good and the value is very good as well. Our recent visit on Saturday, we noticed new wait staff and all seemed to be on point this visit and less standing around talking to each other. We also order to go, either pick-up or delivery, often as well. Unfortunately, I have to say, the orders are never as good as in house dining and usually something is missing or just not the way it is served when in house. They need to make this better. The coffee was hot and very good. The toast was perfectly toasted and the jelly was very tasty. Now for the disappointing part of the meal. They forgot to put chorizo in the chorizo omelet. The omelet was over cooked and dry and all you could taste were all the grilled onions in it. After bring it to the attention of the server, she brought me about two tablespoons of chorizo in a small bowl. The breakfast was already cold after having to waited awhile for our order in the first place. My friends potatoes were very flavorful, but the link sausage had no flavor at all.
