This place is great!! Way better than I though a typical breakfast chain would be. I've been to two locations and everything has been great at both! The Grand Prairie location has a small, dog friendly patio and the staff was so nice to our pup. We had mimosas that came with cute mini Prosecco bottles and I mixed it up by getting the Morning Meditation juice (which I love!) instead of orange juice. The chickichanga was perfect and not too heavy, the sauce was great! The frittata rustica was exactly as I expected and I would highly recommend it for someone that loves veggies; you can't even taste the kale! All in all service was awesome, coffee and mimosas were on point, patio is comfortable and the food is great!! We'll definitely be back again! read more

I have been told to try First Watch in Arlington for about a year now and never really gave it a chance because of so many people telling me it's a healthy option for those who want to do brunch. I'm so used to deep fried chicken and waffles for brunch, typical texan places. Fortunately enough for me they opened one in Grand Prairie near my parents place. My boyfriend and I came in and it was a very pleasant atmosphere and ambiance. We were seated right away and service was very timely and friendly. The food was what I expected it to be, fresh and tasty. I didn't know how feeling it would end up actually being. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, but it's pretty obvious to me that this place gets pretty packed. read more

First, let me say that I've loved First Watch. BUT beware if you opt to DINE IN at this location. It would be easy for me to pull a "person of color" card, but I won't today. I will say that ironically enough, I asked to be sat outside and waited for 23 minutes. In those 23 minutes, two different servers made three different trips to the two occupied table across the patio from me, no acknowledgement of me occupying my table or anything. I would have been content with a cup of coffee in the interim.. water, maybe. But received nothing. After 23 minutes, I returned to the inside and notified the hostess that I had been waiting for service outside, to which I was informed that 'maybe they weren't paying attention' and she sat me inside, per my request. Surely that would be a success. I still waited for approximately 4 minutes at this table before someone showed up (my thoughts were that maybe they're busier than it seems ‍ - looks can be deceiving at times, even though only two tables near me were occupied). But, ironically enough, a party of 3 that sat in front of me, shortly after my order was placed was attended to promptly. Food is consistently good, service, maybe not. I should have just ordered to-go so that my impression of this location wouldn't be tainted. read more

Cute brunch place. We went kinda early because I heard it can get a little crowded. I did an online check in-which I highly recommend- got there in 15 minutes and only had to wait 5 minutes to be seated. The food is good, pretty much what I expected . Coffee was pretty good. Pancakes are plate size but not too thick, so a grown man could eat two. They were decent. The works omelette was filled with toppings, I'm not a huge cheese fan and it had a large slice of cheese in it that to me, took away from the taste so I took it out.However if you like big hunks of cheese in your food,well here you go! My daughter had the grits and we could have left them in the kitchen, they were tooooooo thick and had INSTANT written all over them. Overall I would go again but try something totally different, they have a huge variety to choose from so I would definitely go again. My only complaint was the nonchalant waitress we had. Maybe she was sleepy or something but there was no enthusiasm in her service to us. We saw her three times. Once to take our orders, once she came and asked was everything ok, and the third time she brought our check. That's it. read more

After reading several reviews and how busy this restaurant would be, our family got up early to beat the crowds. To our surprise there was no wait at 930 on a Sunday morning. I will say thought it was FREEZING outside, so it could be people were not ready to venture out just yet. We were immediately sat down, clean restaurant, friendly hostess, prompt service, the food was so fresh m, absolutely amazing. No one at the table had any complaints about one single thing. (In our house this rarely happens). We will definitely return. My only critique is our server could have been friendlier and more energetic. Didn't really seam like she enjoyed her job. Could have been a bad day, and we have all had them, but in a customer driven business you need to leave that outside. read more

First time I ever give this place 1 star, I got on the wait list at 12:18pm and host (white lady) said my wait time will be 45min at around 1:10pm I asked her how much longer and she said you're second on the list and it will take 10 more min, so if I'm second on the list it means another party is getting seated before me and then I'm next, we'll that didn't happen, I was hungry and I was peeking through the window and saw that she sat 3 more parties and I was ready to go inside to talk to management when I saw a walk-in party of two getting seated so 4 parties got seated before me even though I was second in line, I was hungry, bad service that I think she got bothered that I asked how much longer and she make me wait longer. I got seated at 1:30 that's 1hr & 10min when I was quoted 45min, I was Hungry!!! I've never had to wait this long, I've never had this bad service! I'm very upset read more
