Yum! A delicious and cute breakfast restaurant. I said to my husband it feels like I'm on vacation eating breakfast down south somewhere, and low & behold, I discovered this chain originated in Florida! Anyways, the menu is full of "elevated" breakfast items. I ordered the biscuits & gravy with eggs over-easy. It was delicious! I think the biscuit could have been better but the gravy, eggs and potatoes were great! My husband ordered the "trifecta" with a waffle and a side of biscuits & gravy. He licked his plate clean. The biscuits & gravy side was the same portion size as my meal! I would definitely come back here to try other things off the menu :)

The service was great. You can put your name on the waitlist ahead of time which is nice since they don't take reservations. They do have gluten free bread and it's okay. The tres leches french toast isn't milky at all. It mostly just has a strawberry compote on top is all. Similarly the carrot cake pancake has just a few pieces of carrot in it and tastes basic. But always order the million dollar bacon. It's always a staple for first watch.

Love this place! First discovered it in Austin, Texas and I was hooked. The freshness of this food is the best. The avocado toast is better than mine and that's saying something. I can eat that every day. Today it was pretty but a15-20 min wait was worth it.

It's been a while in between visits here but Wow! What a decline! I'm disappointed in myself for pushing past the extremely strong sewage odor at the front door to get this $20 sandwich and mushy fruit cup...let me know when their quality is back to opening day level quality-- if that ever happens.

This is the 1st location in Mass. I've been to one in AZ and was very excited when they opened one here. 1st, you have to join the waitlist online. This is the best thing ever. We live about 40 minutes away, and we got there just in time. It was busy as you can imagine on a Saturday brunch. We started with the bacon cornbread. SO GOOD!! I ordered the breakfast tacos and 1 pancake. Both great, added a little hot sauce for the tacos!! My wife ordered the avocado toast. She thought it was just ok, time for her to try something new!! We will definitely be back. We love how they have new items on the me u all the time!

I got an excited call from a friend on Wednesday wanting to try First Watch on Thursday. when she read the menu to me, I already knew what we were going to order. We ventured down, braving the unusual traffic for.a Thursday, to try it out. The atmosphere was good. It was a little loud and cramped but they had a few cute details like the colourful menu boards and menus that look like newspapers. We were served impeccably by our server, Sarah. She was attentive and responsive to our needs. She remained calm and present when we encountered some hiccups during our dining experience. The blueberry lemon cornbread was really tasty. I just found myself wishing for a bit more lemon. A little lemon zest in the batter, lemon-infused butter or compote on the side could've really taken it to the next level. Still, the overall flavor was solid. I left inspired to develop a recipe of my own. The million-dollar bacon had great flavor too, but it really needed to be crispier to live up to its name. Unfortunately, things took a turn when our entrées arrived. My grits looked more like corn mash than actual grits. There's a big difference, grits should be smooth and creamy, but this was thick, dry, flavourless and hard to eat. The shrimp and sausage were well-seasoned and nicely cooked, but the texture of the grits really ruined the dish for me. I sent it back, hoping for better, and while the second version was slightly improved, it came back oily and even more bland. The shrimp and sausage were still fine, but now they were topped with burned onions. I honestly don't know how that made it past the kitchen. I couldn't help but wonder who's checking the plates before they go out. Why was there such inconsistency?! My friend had the Works omelette, and it started off well, but was also full of burned onions. At that point, we were just disappointed. Our server, Sarah, was kind and did her best, she let the manager know, and my friend received a gift card since most of her meal was left untouched. But when the bill came, we were still charged for it, which didn't sit right. They eventually took it off, but it was frustrating that the manager never came by the table, and that there didn't seem to be a standard practice for handling clearly flawed dishes. We weren't expecting perfection, just a thoughtful meal and attention to detail. Sadly, that wasn't our experience, and we're not likely to return.

Went to First Watch for the first time this morning. I had the chicichanga, and my husband had the biscuits and gravy. We also shared the blueberry lemon cornbread. The blueberry lemon cornbread was very good especially with the whipped butter. I had a mint chocolate iced coffee that was not very good. It tasted mainly of whole milk and mint. I didn't taste any coffee or chocolate. The chicichanga was okay at best. It was a bit spicy a which is fine but no other flavors stood out. My husband ordered his meal with scrambled eggs but there was very little eggs that I could see. The hostess was nice and sat us right away. The waitress was fine, nothing to note there. We ate inside at a small table. The place was clean and organized. They had a bar ... not sure that's necessary for a brunch spot. Everything was fine but will probably not return as there are better brunch places in the area.

Was looking for a nice new place for brunch and my friend suggested we try First Watch. It did not disappoint! It was so delicious! Service was good too nothing extraordinary, but the server was nice and friendly. We waited for a few minutes to get seated. While waiting they also have a coffee station where you could make yourself a small cup of coffee which I thought was very nice! We ordered: Purple Haze and Pineapple Express for our drinks and both were so refreshing. Then for food we got: SoCal bfast hash and Wild Berry lavender ft both were very very delicious. I would definitely want to come back and try more!

This place is always packed, so do yourself a favor--hop on the online queue before you roll up! I've been to quite a few locations in the south, specifically in Florida and as a New Englander I'm stokedd that there's one local now. Happy to say- my time at this location was fabulous. Our server was so kind, the vibe was lively and the food? Perfect. Unfortunately there was a reoccurring problem with the food at the table next to us so there was a lot of visits from the staff there, but my family and I had no problem. Food was delicious- cooked to perfection, and the Purple Haze drink is to die for I'm so obsessed.

We love the First Watch! We love the fresh pot of coffee they give you at your table to keep the hot coffee coming. I got the French Toast this time with the fresh maple syrup. The warm mixed berry compote is served on the side and it is absolutely delicious! My husband got the Farmhouse Hash with a single blueberry pancake the size of the plate. Our waitress name was Jaleyn and she is the best! She was so nice and very attentive to check in and make sure we had everything we need. It was because of her friendly personality that we will be back and specifically are going to ask for her!! Make sure you check out the delicious fresh pressed Juices they offer as well!

Love the flowers and the expanded food options. Have tried to rent the office space a few times. Perhaps they worked out the kinks but so far the staff hasn't figured out how to book them when I'm there. So basically gave up on that. Inside is sort of a mess. Always a ton of people there. Hard to figure where to stand when you're waiting. Seating always jammed. Sometimes the food and drinks are delivered separately so you have to listen for someone to whisper your name. Today the staff didn't greet my daughter and I. Blank staring at us to order. Got four bakery items. Was prepared to then order coffee but was told our total. No offer of drinks... at a coffee shop. Just blank stares and no engagement. So, no coffee I guess. Was easy to hit the no tip button. Ahhh the eye roll. So no greeting, bad body language and unrealistic expectations for additional compensation. Then we waited. Two groups behind us served first. I gave the new location a shot. Five times and I'm set for a long while. Too bad, I do like the burrata balsamic toast. It's plenty busy, plenty popular, and easy to drive past.

The chef there came in with some homemade strawberry jam, so good, and then the breakfast which, I am telling you is better than greasy Toast, First Watch in Hanover- nothing there, and Stevie G's in Cohasset. The woman at the register (short hair) was rushed, dismissive, and frankly disrespectful. When I tried to place my order, she seemed irritated, rolled her eyes when I misspoke, and told me to "stop confusing" her. She also made comments like, "I know you've been to other places--my place is different," instead of helping guide me through the menu. It created a very uncomfortable and tense environment. I left feeling anxious, which is not something you should experience after a simple food order. In contrast, a gentleman working there was kind and professional, which I appreciated. To make matters worse, I was not given a receipt despite asking, and I believe I may have been overcharged. I ordered a Greek salad with added chicken and a chicken shawarma panini, and my total came to $50. My mother's order was supposed to be removed and paid separately, but without a receipt, I have no way to confirm whether that was done correctly. Customer service matters just as much as the food, and unfortunately, this experience fell far short. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works toward creating a more respectful and welcoming environment for customers.
