When we arrived we were greeted at the door by several (too many) people who were gathered at the hostess station (they should not all hang out there.) We were taken to a table but there were empty booths nearby so we asked to change. They graciously accommodated us. Our waiter was very pleasant, and offered water for the table. During our meal he checked onus several times. We ordered the tacos, frittata, maple bacon and pancakes. All were well received. The pancake was shared by the 3 of us and was exceptional! The restaurant was clean and had a good vibe. We will definitely come back

I enjoyed it! It was an overall solid brunch place for the weekend. Fortunately we didn't have too long of a wait when we went around 12 noon. They had all of the breakfast brunch options. There were a lot of options that were both savory and sweet and a lot of the classic choices like French toast, pancakes, skillets, bowls, drinks and coffee. I had the power quinoa bowl, and it was exactly what I wanted. It was something that was light and savory and healthy and tasty. My favorite thing about the quinoa bowl is that you feel full afterwards but it also has a tangy dressing and an egg yolk on top. But if you're in the more of the sweet mood, we also got the Floridian French toast. That was also a good balance of "healthy" with the fruit against the French toast. The interior had a modern finish and a lot of natural light coming from the glass windows. It has around up to 50 people worth of seating. They had the option of outdoor or indoor seating. We chose outdoor because the weather was nice. I will say it started raining while we were outside and we were pretty covered by the awning. Service was fast we had our food in a reasonable amount of time. They also filled up our coffee to make sure we never ran out.

This is my first time trying this establishment. I initially thought they were only Chia seeds, smoothies, and açaí bowls.. today I was surprised when I learned they serve lemon ricotta pancakes. I took the first thing smoking ordered the lemon, avocado, pancakes, bacon with eggs and a kale drink. Although it didn't knock my socks off, so make me work on my toes, but it was definitely really good and the size of the pancakes were beyond my expectation. The service was really good. The waitress was really nice and attentive and helped me make the right choices for my first time. She seemed to be well liked by some locals who visit the Restaurant quite a bit. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating. The decor is pretty help It's great to accommodate early morning, breakfast for two or early afternoon, lunch or brunch. I will be back to try their bacon egg and cheese sandwiches. It looks really good.

Been coming to this location for years and its our go-to place for a yummy breakfast or brunch. Staff is always friendly and helpful with food allergies. The place itself has gone through some decor changes, and currently has a cool modern country Houston vibe. This location has indoor and outdoor seating but I wouldn't recommend it for groups with more than 8 people as this location is not the largest but does have more seats for smaller groups making it better for a date.

My friends and I came to First Watch to celebrate Galentine's on a Sunday around lunch, so the restaurant was busy. It was my first time coming, so I was anticipating what the hype was about. Food: Originally, I wanted the Traditional Breakfast because of the bacon side, but I opted for the Carne Asada hash because it was a seasonal item & it sounded more appetizing. - Bacon side (3/5) - I'm not sure how I feel about spending more than $5 on 4 pieces of bacon. Many brunch places don't prepare bacon the way I want them to (with a little bit of crunch), and First Watch was no exception. The texture was a bit chewy, and I was hoping First Watch would be different, but alas, I wasn't a fan of how they prepared their bacon and regret getting it on the side. - Carne Asada Hash (3.5/5) - I generally enjoyed this meal but have some qualms about it. As the name suggests, there were a lot of potatoes, but they were cut into big pieces; I could have preferred to be chopped into smaller bits, especially given the starchy nature of potatoes. Halfway through eating, I thought I was fuller than I actually was. The avocado and pico de gallo included in the dish were the stars of the meal, though! Additionally, you can request to have your eggs prepared in various ways (medium over, sunny side up, scrambled, etc.). Service (4/5): Our waitress was friendly and checked up frequently. However, my one gripe is that we were expecting a 7th friend to come later, and one of my friends, who was already present, asked our waitress if they could bring another chair. She returned to the kitchen to get our orders but never brought the chair, so the 7th friend, who was late, had to grab it herself. While this is not serious, I cannot give the service a 5/5 for this reason -- but I understand that things were hectic, and they might've forgotten. Also, I don't get why my order came last even though I was the 2nd one to get my order taken; a bit weird, truthfully. Overall, I'm not sure if I'd return to First Watch. It wasn't a bad place, but there are better brunch spots in Spring/North Houston.

First Watch is definitely a place to dine in for some delicious breakfast or brunch foods! I usually come here every time whenever my Fiancé and I crave for some yummy foods! Last Friday, I visited First Watch for breakfast with two of my closest friends, and while the company was great, the experience? Not so much. Positives - We were seated quickly, and our server was fantastic. She was friendly, patient, and went out of her way to offer suggestions, since I was struggling to choose from the menu. A+ for service! I finally settled on the Trifecta: a waffle, million dollar bacon, and a side of cheese grits (subbed because I don't eat eggs). Negative - the food. First, the timing was off. One of my friends got her food a full 7 minutes before the rest of us. Awkward much? She didn't want to eat without us, and we didn't want her food to get cold. :/ When my food arrived, there was something red on my waffle (despite my clear request for it to be plain). I asked the server, and she assured me it was raspberry--not strawberry, which I'm severely allergic to. I pushed it aside onto a napkin, but honestly, I shouldn't have had to deal with that anxiety. As for the food itself, it didn't live up to the hype. * The waffle: Thin, full of air bubbles, and completely underwhelming. Definitely not the thick, fluffy kind I expected. * The cheese grits: It was basically a bowl of melted cheese with little grits mixed in. I sent it back for plain grits, which were much better. * The bacon: The biggest letdown. It was way too sweet, like it had been dipped in maple syrup and then peppered excessively. I'm picky about bacon and was hoping for something amazing, but this wasn't it. If you've ever had bacon from Snooze, you'll know what I was expecting, and this didn't come close. The restaurant itself also had 2 issues - The restroom was absolutely disgusting, which is always a red flag for me. Then there was the chaotic payment system. You pay at the front, which sounds fine in theory, but it's right by the entrance where people are waiting for tables. Add a line of people trying to pay, and it's pure chaos. We were all crammed together, bumping into each other. It was a mess. Overall, while the service was great, the food didn't impress, and the chaotic setup made for a frustrating experience. I won't be returning. If you're looking for a solid breakfast spot, I'd recommend heading somewhere else.

I love going to this location! The Ambiance is impeccable, when I walk in I'm an immediately greeted at the door EVERY SINGLE TIME! My servers are always supper attentive and I love how they always come to the table with coffee just in case! I love how they arrive with warm syrup EVERYTIME I order something that would need Sryup. Sarah, the general manager is also great! She's always going to all the guest to ensuring that they are enjoying their food and if she can help them out with anything. I love it here! Here's a classy brunch spot, great for bringing multiple people or just two! They have spacious seating options and a variety of different options on their menu. I will say that the portions aren't huge but they do serve fresh food items. I was disappointed with the coffee creamers on the table but thankfully they have fresh half and half available. You can expect to pay $17-$20 per person (including tip) depending on if you order a drink alongside an entree. Servers were friendly, inside was a little colder than I expected but overall I would go again. Hope this helps! read more

What a joke this place is! Very high turnover of staff. It seems like there is no training. It took them 25 minutes to serve oatmeal. No consistency between locations. At time the food is served cold when it suppose to be warm (Eggs benedict). Another time i was served a broiling hot muffin and when i got the staff's attention and explained that because it is too hot it becomes 'mooshi' and not eatable to me, she started arguing with me. Since 'I can't fix stupid' I finished my other food and left leaving '0' tip. read more

There's nothing I appreciate more than a chain restaurant or chain business. That continues to expand and never loses their flavor. Never loses their customer service. Never loses cleanliness of the business. I am always very happy when I see a first watch and I don't know what to eat. Great food great atmosphere great prices. read more

I just walked out of this place with my son. I'm Not one to leave negative reviews but this place either needs new training in customer service or more staff. We waited at the front for 10 minutes and no one acknowledged us. Then someone sat us and still said nothing to us. The person who sat us turned out to be our server. I didn't find this out until we left after sitting at the table for another ten minutes watching everyone in his section looking around wondering what was going on. This place menu seemed rad. I try to be understanding but this was ridiculous. read more

This is a cute location that stays very active and busy. A small but cute little patio area to sit and enjoy outside. It can be cold inside. The menu is very good and they often change things out based on what may be in season. The menu never disappoints from pancakes, waffles, skillets to avocado toast everything I have tried has been excellent! read more

I highly recommend First Watch at Corning Place Charlotte. The food is excellent and so is the service. Michael was our server this past time and did an excellent job of catering to our breakfast needs. Every time we go there we can't help but notice how great the food and coffee is and the ambient atmosphere is great too. Their team work is great there too and the place is very clean! The food is slightly over priced, but they main reason for my review is the service. I've tried this place a few times and more often than not, I feel like the servers are rude and depend on the chains name to bring in patrons. The final straw was when we visited right after my mother's dr appointment following a double mastectomy. Due to this she was obviously moving slow. When our food was brought out, the server rushed her to move because "the plate was heavy". I said "if it was that heavy you shouldn't have grabbed it" and her response was "I could have left your food in the window". We were literally the table right in front of the kitchen so making an additional trip to make sure she could handle everything was not going to add that much time to her day. read more

We were already at the restaurant I saw the advice to place the order via the app or something in advance. This is very good advice. We were one of 2 parties in the place at 7 am and we were in a bit of a hurry and it took half an hour for our food to come. The potatoes that came with my Chickichanga were Excessively Salty...i like salt but these tasted as though the cook dumped too much salt on them.. My daughter had the same potatoes and tried mine and agreed that mine were much much salter than hers. I thought the menu was overly complicated and I lack the mental stamina to continue with this review. Food should not be so salty it burns. I thought the Chickichanga was very average for how it was described on the menu. The ambience was nice. read more

This is review of FM1960W location in Houston suburb. Excellent service, wonderful staff and location. The dinnerware and flatware is a step above your usual breakfast restaurants. The atmosphere is calming but tables are a little closer than I would like due to ability to hear complete conversations at next tables. This is TEXAS, we need space to not feel boxed in while dining. The meals seem to have small portions and I seem to be hungry within a few hours which is unusual due to being a senior citizen that often is good with 1 meal a day and possibly a lite snack for taking medicine before bed. The farm eggs are delicious and fresh. Pastry is acceptable. Coffee is good but not near exemplary. The rotating specials taste can vary by the chef/cook on duty especially the Shrimp & Grits dish. My only disappointment is menu items don't offer selections of combo like pancakes with meat, eggs, and potatoes without an extra charge. Also don't plan on having enough food for a takeout of leftovers. I don't recommend dining with children especially boys that are going through a growth spurt! All parents presently or have been struggling with pre-teen boys that are always hungry avoid the expense! read more

This restaurant is one of my favorites. Ingredients are always fresh and dishes are inventive without being weird. I'm never disappointed. I recently had a wonderful kale salad for lunch. Yum Yum. I decided to go with ranch dressing, and what a delightful surprise! They make it from scratch, and it was excellent. Wish I could get hold of the recipe.! I tried looking online and can't find it. If anyone has it, please share. BTW, if you want to smooth cup of coffee, this is the place to go. read more

I have never left reviews before, but I just had to for today. The server was nice but the food was horrible. The picture I included looks good, but the food tasted like it was a day old, had no flavor, and after taking a few bites, I felt sick. A few hours later, I still feel sick. This was my first and last time going to First Watch. I should have just gotten breakfast elsewhere. read more

This is the perfect breakfast, brunch and lunch spot. (They also have dinner service) The menu includes a variety of dishes from plant based and vegetarian to plates for the heavy meat eaters. I've visited this location several times now and I've always felt welcomed by the wonderful staff. The portions tend to be generous and all the food so far has been delicious and filling. Late review as I visited this business Aug. 8th... the first few minutes there everything was nice and going well. Only thing we didn't like was the fact that we were told we couldn't order any alcoholic beverages while we waited on our to-go order. Long story short... 45 minutes later we were still waiting on our order. Once we inquired, it was determined that our order was given to someone else some time prior. The only reason why I'm giving them more than 1 star is because once they realized their mistake they did take ownership, and tried to make it right. They quickly remade the order and offered us a table so that we could then have alcoholic beverages. After the whole ordeal it was hard to really enjoy the food. The food was good and the drinks were ok. What I recall most was that Kale Tonic. It was delicious to me, but OMG it will clean you out lol read more

This is one of the two locations I've ordered from, as I'm smack between two. I really like First Watch, and I feel good about their food and mission. I always order the farmhouse hash. This is the perfect breakfast and holds me over until dinner. It's comfort food without being unhealthy. This dish absolutely puts a smile on my face each time I have it. I also always have the coffee. It's good coffee for a good cause. When we go back to the office, I might even pick up the big container for sharing. On occasion I've also ordered the green juice (I can't recall the name), which is so refreshing, and the grits (when I'm extra hungry), which are good but a bit salty from this location. I'm all in on First Watch. I'd eat breakfast/brunch from here every day if possible. Eventually I'll give a soup or salad a try for lunch. read more

Dined in for an early brunch yesterday, and it went well. I ordered the tostados and it was pretty messy. I do not recommend ordering them on a first date, it's not a pretty sight! I replaced the chorizo with the roasted potatoes, and I ordered the Purple Haze for my drink. It reminded me of when I went to Stephen F. Austin State University (SFASU), and was a member of the Purple Haze organization on campus. We attended sporting events to cheer the Lumberjacks on! Great, fun times at SFASU! My date ordered the Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos, his review, "although the tacos lacked salt, they were still good." He also had the "Morning Meditation" as his beverage after trying all three specialty drinks available at the time (Morning Meditation, Kale Tonic, and Purple Haze). You can never go wrong with the specialty drinks nor the preserve with artisan toast :). Yum! Pricing: fairly inexpensive. Of course, when dining out, you're always paying for convenience and experience! LOVE LOVE LOVE! First time visiting First Watch since before the pandemic and I must say they were amazing! I ordered the Frittata Rustica with the seasoned potatoes and my friend ordered the BLTE (of course we had our add-ons). Nothing but compliments to the kitchen and staff. Wanted to LOVE a place so close to home where we can get a healthy option. Unfortunately my first experience was that of lack luster. Arrived exactly at 7:00 am as soon as they opened. Walked in to the restaurant, no greeting, sat for at least 10-15 minutes with out being spoke to, as employees walked past me through the front door. Then ordered food finally, another party of two walked in after me by plenty. I ordered one omelet, side of grits and one pancake. The party of two that came in after me received their food prior to my order to go. Then I received my food about 10 to 15 minutes after them. So all in all I was there for over 40 minutes for three items. Food was a 6 out of 10. But the service makes me not want to return. read more

This spot for breakfast and brunch is my favorite place to bring friends and family. This location has not only amazing service, but delicious and fresh food. I recently tried the pumpkin pancakes and was amazed by how on point the flavors were. You can always find the servers here providing that personable and friendly feel, the second that you walk in. With a lot of shame and sad feeling I write this, use to be my restaurant to go for breakfast almost every day till today, I got a young man approach to my table this morning claiming to be the manager ( never seen him before ) basically telling me me that he has received complaints from the staff about inappropriate comments from me, he dint say what was clearly but the way I see it according to his reactions, this was something the I won't even ment here, am a adult person and a business owner myself so if on the place I like to go almost daily I see something the it can be for the best of it, I will say it, if the food I order is not make the proper way , if the staff are chatting ( 4 or 5 of them) the counter while a client is trying to reach them, if they try every time to say me on a place I don't like it when half of the restaurant is empty, this morning was the most horrible morning I have in a while, , at a moment I feel like I should call my lawyer to persue a legal matter about this accusations but honestly, I went to another place down the road and they really make it up for me, god bless america. read more

I usually don't write reviews, but I'm hoping to spare someone the humiliation and pain that I felt. I went to pick up my order for the first time, and while standing in line an Asian man in front of me told the hostess his name, she looked at a bag with said name and gave it to him. Then, when I said my name she looked at the bag with my name, looked at me and asked to see confirmation. I'm a black woman. I have no problem providing proof of purchase which is why I had it in my hand. The issue lies in the fact she didn't require it from others. She could sense that I was offended because she then said "I just don't want any problems." I will not be returning and while I'm sure they do not care, I hope other black women can save their money and go to an establishment that has employees who will not make them feel discriminated against. read more

Our waiter was Steve, he provided fast and friendly service. I definitely recommend the cinnamon toast cereal milk. This morning me and my dad went and again got taylor, when i tell you we had a smile on our face we were beaming. Her service like always was amazing she was attentive even though she had another table of 13 to take care of she always had a smile and was quick to give us our drinks. Speaking of those were AMAZING taylor recommended the pomegranate pear punch so we got it and loved it. First Watch (Aliana) has become my favorite go to restaurants for breakfast anytime of the day. Or server Andrew has the best personality and is very attentive to keeping the needs of his customers met. I haven't tried many dishes because each time I visit I have to order the Eggs Benedict BLT style. Delicious!!! read more

I see a lot of these reviews and I just don't get it. My wife and I eat here at least 1once a week and the food is amazing every time. The staff are bubbly and treat us like family. The Manager Emily always makes her way through the restaurant to check on everyone. She is so happy and always smiling. read more

Sabrina at First Watch gave 5 star service!! She was attentive and knowledgeable of rhe menu and pricing. I love this reataurant and am a brunch connoisseur. I stopped by First Watch FM 1960 today for lunch. I had the half Roast Beef sandwich and a half salad it was great. My waitress Idalia was friendly and brought my food quickly. I would definitely go back and try some other plates. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Five stars. read more

Never been to first watch but I'm glad my friends recommended me. The food was amazing and my server Dominique was fabulous. Great attitude, speedy service, even interacted with my children. She suggested what I should try and I couldn't be happier. Definitely will be back. read more

This was my first time at first watch and it will definitely not be my last. Autumn was amazing and so patient when I asked her a million questions. Loved how many sanitizing stations were around. Also really enjoyed the environment. 10/10 recommend. read more

First Watch is right around the corner from where I live so I normally come here out if convenience than desire because the service is a little iffy. But we came and were served by Robert who provided fast, friendly service and the food was amazing! read more

The was very clean, the service was superb. Our waitress was Sakayla Harris. She made sure my family was well taken care of. Some of their food wasn't prepared right but management made sure it was prepared again and done correctly. read more
