We first came here about two weeks after they opened. The line was long but we were seated in an understandable amount of time. My husband and I both ordered, and then waited. His meal (a special he can't remember the name of) was delivered and I was told that mine (elevated egg sandwich) would be a few more minutes. Husband waited about 3 minutes before starting to eat his at my insistence. Anyway, he was able to eat the entire meal and I still didn't have mine. I asked a passing waitress (ours had not come back to check on us) to get a manager. I told him our situation and my meal was delivered a few minutes later. Today we returned for a second chance. As we sat in the waiting area we watched as no less than 3 tables sat empty and unbussed. No one(including manager) seemed to care these tables were empty while there was a long wait. Once again his meal (biscuits and gravy) was delivered before mine (blt egg Benedict). This time I only had to wait 2 minutes, but seriously how hard is it to deliver 2 meals to the same table at the same time? Ultimately all 4 dishes we had were okay (not amazing), and the prices were great, but we were less than impressed with the attentiveness of staff. Not sure we would return a third time. read more

Poorly managed and completely disorganized. They could not get the names straight on the list for seating. Several people went up and hostess didn't have their names on the list despite giving it to her. It was busy for a holiday, but no manager or anybody helping and it was a complete cluster. The food was pretty good, I would go back based on that. My husband and I stopped in on a weekend afternoon, it wasn't really busy inside, but they was a wait for seating. We didn't appreciate the initial experience we had, but our waitress made up for that. When we arrived, the male host was seating other guests, so we waited patiently and understandingly for someone else to greet us. 2 minutes went by and he hadn't come back and no one else greeted us. He came back and sat another table, but didn't bother to say hello or even I'll be right with you. That really grinds my gears. A woman who appeared to be the manager walked up, and there was now another family standing behind us at the small entry next to the hostess stand. When she walked up, she ignored us completely and went on to greet them and ask how many were in their party. I had to interrupt to let her know that we hadn't been helped, just as I mentioned this, the original male hostess walked back up. The manager said oh and told him to seat us, rolled her eyes and walked off. She didn't even finish helping the guests behind us or let them know know that he would take care of them or anything. It was a lack of respect and poor customer service in my opinion. You have to pay on the way out and when we went to do so, the manager was the acting cashier. We handed her our receipt and said hello, she snatched the receipt and said nothing. Rang us up and didn't make eye contact. We decided to walk our waitresses tip back to her, afraid that if we gave it to the cashier that she might now get it. That lady is a terrible representation of this establishment, which sucks, because our initial encounter with her almost made us leave, but my husband didn't want to find another restaurant since we were so hungry. read more

I visited First Watch on a Saturday morning around 10:20AM expecting there to be a long wait. I waited no more than 8 minutes before I was seated. The venue is very open and airy once you're inside. Coffee and infused water are available for patrons waiting to be seated. There was so much to choose from on the menu but I decided to settle on the TriFecta with 2 scrambled eggs, multigrain pancake (banana granola), chicken sausage patty and million dollar bacon. Eggs were cooked to perfection (light & fluffy), pancake was HUGE and the chicken sausage patty & bacon were tasty. I opted for the pure maple syrup which is a small upcharge. I love this place and the many options it offers for those who are looking for healthy food options without sacrificing taste. I also had the green tonic juice and it was good as well. Our server was amazing being that we took longer than usual to review the menu and place our order. He was attentive but not overbearing. All in all, I will definitely return to First Watch to try some of the other items. read more

Love love the food here! The fresh juices and fresh salads are such a welcome addition to our area! But y'all, seriously, management needs some attention. The pile up is always at the door whether you are checking out or waiting for a table. The orders to go have consistently been messy - covered with dressing and food on the outside of the containers. PLEASE do something about the checkout - the employees are doing their best but the checkout is antiquated - too much paper, too much time. This was our second time visiting this restaurant. Our first visit - great! The servers were attentive, the food was delicious, great atmosphere. The second time? Not so much. The food was still good, 4 stars there. But the service - we were shocked. It wasnt very busy, especially for early afternoon on a Sunday. After being seated, it was quite a while before anyone came to our table. After ordering, it took a while to even receive our drinks (I ordered water, iced coffee for my friend). The food took even longer to arrive, and the waitress did apologize for that. But then after finishing eating, we waited for ages again to receive our check. When I asked for a to-go box, another waiter (ours seemed to have completely disappeared by this point), said he would bring one, walked to the back kitchen area, then made his way to other tables to wait on them. No to-go box. I finally had to get up and ask the host for one, and a nice gentleman promptly retrieved one for me. While paying, we saw the waiter who said he would get the box for us eating at one of the back tables. Very disappointed in our visit here! 4 stars for food, 1 star for service. I waited for a long time just to get a Togo Box. I have been to a number of First Watch restaurants in other cities and have always been pleased both with the service and the food. However, our experience here was not up to par. I believe that this restaurant just recently opened. The decor is very nice, however, the staff has some work to do to get things operating smoothly. First, we got there around 9 am and the restaurant was almost empty. Instead of seating us at a table or booth away from the kitchen she took us directly to the booth right next to the kitchen. Second, i ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict with potatoes. The food was tepid at best. The poached eggs were overcooked and the hollandaise sauce was runny and too lemony. Overall the visit was disappointing. On May 9, 2017, we returned to First Watch to see if some of the glitches had been worked out. My husband had the clam chowder and the shrimp and grits. Both were delicious. I had the 1/2 roast beef and havarti sandwich with the chicken pecan salad. The sandwich was to die for it was so good. The salad was good, but too sweet for my taste and the horseradich in the salad was a little much for me. It would have been nice for the waitress to have offered to refill our tea while we were there. Also since we came during the lunch hour, we had the opportunity to sit at the other booth right next to the kitchen. However, it was ok since it was actually quieter than the main restaurant.
