I unfortunately have now had two poor experiences at this location. My first visit I was the only person in my group that just didn't receive their food - and when I did receive it my order was incorrect. I also ordered one of their specialty drinks and just never received it. I recently went with my family for Father's Day and again was the only person to not get their food on time - and was brought the entirely wrong order when it did come and had to wait for the correct order to be made. The bacon was very fatty and not at all crispy. I tried the Morning Market Veg Omelet that came with greens and toast which was pretty good, definitely could've used more jam and butter for the toast. It also felt like we were chasing our server around trying to ask for water and drink refills. I definitely recommend another location that has better service. read more

First time there on Thursday, 10/24. The interior is super cute, kind of rustic, farm-y, large space. The server was pretty friendly but being told that we've never been there, she set down the check and never came back. ‍ I ordered a special that will be going away come November, truffle and mushroom omelette. It was came with fruit, which in general I think is kind of weird depending on the season and what's in the fruit bowl. It also came with a slice of ciabatta with a nice little spread but nothing special. Staffing is a little unpredictable, as other reviewers mentioned; I think they count on a waiter or waitress to man the hostess stand so it usually appears unstaffed when you walk in, which isn't ideal. Our service when seated has always been quite good -- everyone is super busy and running their butts off. I love the iced coffee right off the menu -- not cold brew coffee, iced coffee -- it's delish and exactly the way I like it. Probably too sweet for purists, but I adore it. Ordered traditional Eggs Benedict . It was cold. I don't like shaved ham, instead of Canadian Bacon. That was my fault, for not paying attention to description better. No syrup included. No side of fruit included or toast for either kids meal, like it states in the description. I've been to first watch many times before and I always enjoy myself. This time was a little mediocre. When we first got there the lady took us to our table and the table was really dirty and underneath the table was a lot of food so someone had to come and sweep and wipe off the table in the seating area. The food was very mediocre. Our potatoes were not all the way done and my carrot cake pancake tasted a little off. It did not taste like what I imagined. The small dish of "fresh" fruit was blueberries (ok) , grapes (good) and brown-ish melon (inedible) Finally, the coffee was ok, but for a place that is positioned in market as "better than a Coney", no fresh cream or milk, just warm pre-packed table International Delights. I actually couldn't even come up with words to say back to her after she snapped on me multiple times. We came inside and the nice blonde hostess told us 15-20 min wait. So we waited in our car and came back at 20 minutes and we said to the brunette hostess we have a table and wanted to check how much longer it might be. She said she will text us when it's ready. So I said do you have any idea on how long just so we know. She raised her voice at me and said "WHEN SOMEONE GETS UP I WILL TEXT YOU I DONT KNOW WHEN THAT IS" then at a loss for words just stared blank at her and she snapped again and I walked out with my husband. Oh My Gosh! Oh My Gosh! Where have you been all if my life, "First Watch"? This restaurant is amazing!! It is clean and following each and every rule for COVID, very well!! But let's talk about the food and the service!! First off, I had the best Omelet full of ham, cheeses, bacon & more! I "made my own" and they cooked it to perfection! Then there was those yummy cut potatoes! They have just the perfect amount of seasoning! They are very delicious!! The service was just okay, and the food very meh. The portions and quality are not worth the price you pay. Having to take your check up to the cashier to checkout is a huge pain as you are not only waiting in a line behind others checking out, but waiting for the host/hostess to greet the incoming patrons. So wife and I have been here about 5 times now. We generally visit a First Watch when ever we travel and usually enjoy our experience. For this location I am disappointed. I give some leeway because it's hasn't been open long, hence the five visits, but nothing has changed. Let me explain further. When you pay, what I would view as, a premium for breakfast food you expect certain things. All that follows pretty much sums up every experience. After being sat over a 7 minute wait on average to be greeted by server. Each time we stated we were ready to order in addition to just placing a drink order. Each time, but one, the server made an excuse to only take the drink order at that time. Ok we will wait until your schedule permits you to take care of us I guess. On average of five visits there was a 21 minute ticket time. Pretty long wait for eggs and waffles. 3 out of 5 times food came out lukewarm at best. So I wonder what our server is doing letting our food die in the window? They apparently have food runners because most times our server is not the person delivering our food. Not sure what is happening in the back of the house but I would say either the different components of the meal are not being timed correctly or someone else needs to expedite. 3 out of 5 times the potatoes we under cooked. The holy doughnuts were amazing the first visit. They came out hot and crisp on the outside and light and fluffy in the middle. I honestly could not wait to get back to have them again. Well the next two visits they came out soggy lukewarm and unevenly cooked. Actually a bit greasy. What a disappointment. Radom: Why does a re-fire on over cooked eggs come out hotter than the original? So final point. We decided to purchase $100 in gift cards on the first visit. We were told at checkout that we could only purchase 1 card and not break it into different amounts. I am sure this was a training issue but there wasn't anyone around to correct the error. Matter of fact I don't think I have ever seen someone I would consider a manager on the floor. Oh final final point... 5 out of 5 times the server delivered the check and left the table without clearing a single dish, this is when I usually try to order the holy doughnuts but the server assumes I am done and never asks if there is anything else let alone tries to up sell anything. So again for a premium priced breakfast one should expect far better service and consistent hot food. Relying on a hot gravy or dipping sauce to to make up for lukewarm food should not be that standard. I can get that down the street at Big Boys. So why should one pay the price for this experience? Why should anyone tip generously when the service is at the same caliber as a truck stop? And in some cases that is being unfair to truck stop service. Never once has anyone at First Watch welcomed us, greeted us with a smile. They some how forgot they are working in the service industry and they will have to interact with the public. Don't get me wrong. I don't expect severs to kiss my a$$ and bend the knee. That being said for what we are paying I do expect experienced servers who understand the difference between an order taker and professional service. It's called "gratuity" for a reason. To the reader of this post: let me assure you I am not angry about the service I received or high maintenance when dinning out even though my writing style may convey differently. I do however believe you should receive what you are paying for and should always vote with your wallet. Five visits later I think the verdict is in. At least for the near future. Maybe again down the road so First Watch has the opportunity to address some obvious issues. read more

I'm so glad I was browsing Yelp the other day and found this place, it really is the best! My friend and I needed to finish our trip planning and wanted to try a new brunch place. I honestly feel that this is my new favorite brunch spot! It's nice and open with lots of natural light and and wood accents. The tables are pretty close together though so I wouldn't recommend this as really a place to study. We started off with a fresh juice and some coffee. The juice was delicious! Then it took me a good 15 minutes to decide on what I wanted because there were so many tasty sounding options. I ended up going with the Farmhouse skillet and I'm really glad I did.
