This place was triple A+ Yummy!! everything we sunk our teeth into was AMAZING!! Equally as good was the service! We were visiting Orlando for the weekend and had the opportunity to visit twice!! Yes! It was that good! On Saturday morning we had Jammie as our server and on Monday we had Lee, these ladies knew their stuff and had great recommendations! I came back because I was offered complimentary breakfast for two (which was only $20), and I had the via vente omelette (sp) and my boyfriend had the turkey club. I'm not exactly sure if those are the correct names, but the food was delicious. I really enjoyed it this time around. Unfortunately the service was trash. My water wasn't refilled, we weren't checked on, and instead of serving me my orange juice during my meal like I requested, they gave me both my beverages at once. This is the 1st time I went to this new location and the 3rd time I've been to a First Watch. I think their service is good and the food is good as well. I like the healthy options as well as the traditional favorites. I had the blueberry pancake with added pecans and turkey sausages. The sausages were cold but when I told the server she offered new sausages but I didn't want to wait. She refunded me the sausages. My only suggestion is they offer the maple syrup for free and not charge. Cracker Barrell has spoiled me. And they should NOT call the pancake syrup (corn syrup) maple syrup. This is the second time we have come during the week since they opened. When we walked I the door at 7:30 am no one greeted us and then we were we went and sat down. It then took over 5 minutes to be waited on. The food is always good and consistent however I feel that they do not properly staff and during the week when people are on there way to drop kids at school and off to work thy should stay clear of this restaurant! We walked in the doors 25 minutes ago and we are still sitting without food! I personally think there are much better diner options in the area that understand how to properly staff and understand the time restrains on individuals and are locally owned and not a part of a big chain. I was really excited to try this place since I had heard so many great things about it.... unfortunately my first visit was not that great. The atmosphere and service was fantastic however I could've gotten a better meal at the gas station up the road. I had a breakfast buritto of sorts smothered in a weird powered chese flavored sauce. My boyfriend had an omlet and said that his food was "just ok" but having eaten at another location was not on par. I'm sure that if had I said something to our server I could have gotten something else but I did not have time for that and I was hungry. Since this place has a great reputation I will probably give it another go before I make my final decision about this restaurant. read more

Not sure if this location was having an off day compared to other First Watch I visited. But the food was not fresh. I ordered my normal Tri-Fecta meal...but added some fresh vegetables like broccoli, cheese and spinach to my scrambled eggs. When the food was brought out my pancakes were burnt, sausage under cook, scrambled eggs had rotten broccoli. My only question how can a chef serve that type of food and call it fresh? My favorite first watch and breakfast place overall. The employees are ALWAYS professional and friendly (which is super hard to find), and the quality of products are always top of the line! I always get the avocado toast or something with avocado (because I am obsessed) and this is the only place I've ever gone to regularly that has always had perfect avocados-and has never messed on my [modified] order! Demeaning and horrible customer svc experience at: 1414 N Mills Ave, Orlando, FL location Had a horrible customer Svc experience. Mgr & waiter gave me a hard time about complimentary coffee that I was offered to me while waiting for almost 30 mins, most places offer you a complimentary drink for any wait time as a courtesy. Mgr denied me the complimentary coffee and demanding that I pay for it once I got seated. However, she did not ask anyone else to pay for complimentary coffee nor was there a written sign stating that. I was very upset and left after the unprofessional treatment and I was there for my bday as a preferred rewards customer. The door staff tried explaining to the mgr that I had been waiting for my table & my guest but the mgr was cold and made no apologies for her behavior nor tried to make it right, she preferred to see the business walk out the door. We customers have been coming longer than employees have been staff, not to mention that my guest and I are preferred customers. I was shocked when I asked for a Mgr and she stated brashly, "that I am a mgr@ Most fast food restaurants offer you a drink for the wait and inconvenience but I guess this day and age some things never change. I won't be going back to this location again, since my business was not welcomed nor was I valued as a long time loyal customer. The mgr did not care or show any concerned from a leadership or customer Svc perspective at all. At the the end of the day, Customers keeps the doors of a restaurant opened not mgrs or employees because they come and go. We left and went to Chick Fila and the red carpet was rolled out for us by mgt & staff. They treat all their customers with dignity and respect. Needless To say, Chick Fila saves the day after such a demeaning and terrible experience, I can count on them to pick up the pieces and apparently they have a great training program where all staff are in the same place and would never be petty or unkind to any guests. Not to mention as a rewards customer at Chick Fila, we received a complimentary sandwich for the month of December and I had so many points from their app that my whole meal was complimentary and they constantly checks on all customers to see if you need anything. The mgr at First Watch was not walking around checking on customers, if she was, she would have noticed that I was patiently waiting on their wait list for my table. Instead she prefer to rely on the staffs word over the customer's word by belittling me and chastising me and I did not do anything wrong, how humiliating. This is why diversity is so important and the last I checked the year is 2018. None of the staff knew the mgr's name when we asked, which we thought was odd. I left the 1/2 of cup of coffee at the table, which they prefer to throw out instead of me drink, wasting company's money, again the coffee had been sitting up, not if they offered me a fresh brewed cup. At Starbucks, fresh coffee is brewed every couple of minutes, with fresh ground beans. It was not a good feeling to be treated this way over a cup of complimentary coffee that was offered to me in the beginning for the wait. The mgr said that the coffee was for waiting customers, if she had done her homework first, instead of taking the word of staff, she would have known that I had been waiting for almost 30 minutes. Why was it necessary to give a lecture to the customer as if this is a golden rule? No one should be treated this way and leave feeling degraded. Please train your staff in human relations and Customer service towards all patrons. Treat people the way they you would like to be treated, unacceptable behaviors. Put the customers first and not have a hissy fit over complimentary coffee and water that had been sitting there being offered, focus on the important issues. At the end of the day, the mgr did not care or show no corrective action for her error. read more

My boyfriend always loved getting take out from this first watch....that ended today... We made the mistake of "not checking our food" before we left and this what we had when we arrived home. I asked for my bacon crispy (like I do everywhere I go) ...didn't know my bacon would taste like charcoal. Also my boyfriend's toast (pictured) was "pre-buttered" yes thats butter not icing, and my french toast did not include syrup. When I called to let the manager know. He told me he could send me a 20$ gift card in the mail. Instead of taking the gift card I asked for a refund.. to take my money somewhere else. Our overcooked, gross meal costed 26$... this place needs to get their kitchen staff and to-go service on the same page before charging 26$...a complete waste of time. read more

I dunno. ..today I ordered the eggs benedict with ham only because that's how I like my eggs benedict. Traditional. I was really disappointed because there was way too much ham, and although the eggs were perfectly poached, the hollandaise was broken and had an unappetizing color to it. The eggs and hollandaise were completely overshadowed by the taste of ham because there was just a retarded amount of ham there. And sorry but I really can't forgive a shitty hollandaise sauce. The fruit was good and the potatoes were okay... my boyfriend enjoyed his omelet but I mean whatever. Eggs benedict is my fucking favorite and I was really sad about this one. It was just a sad sad eggs benedict. I also thought this place was overpriced. Maybe I thought that because my meal sucked... but I paid $20 for an omelet and pathetic eggs benedict. Ordinarily, I would temper this review with my past experiences, but I was so turned off by the team and how they acted, and how they handled my cold horrible breakfast that I'm compelled to give only one star for this location. I don't mind waiting for food that is delicious and prepared as ordered, but waiting for stone cold food that looks like it was scraped together as an after thought is a bummer. I mentioned to our server that I didn't have time for the breakfast to be re-made, and she still didn't get the hint to bring a check...I had to wait for that too. The check finally came and the team clearing the table was taking away a full plate of food - no one thought to ask if everything was "OK"...I paid $13.61 for coffee and toast. When checking out, the team member at the counter made me wait to pay while he played with his change drawer...didn't acknowledge that I was waiting, didn't greet me, didn't ask me if I enjoyed my meal, and didn't thank me or tell me to have a nice day. Pleasant atmosphere, prompt, friendly service and excellent food combined to give me a pleasant lift this morning. From start to finish the staff was attentive without being annoying. You know what I mean. They really know how to read people. I had the waffle which was light and airy with a little bit of crispy- just right. This place was kinda of a knock off version of IHOP. It seemed to be on the healthier side though. The server disappears after they bring out your food and only returns to bring the bill. I had some chicken tacos that were pretty good I couldn't complain. I've been going to first watch cafes for a while now and have usually gone to the location next to UCF. I just moved to the mills area and was excited that there was one close by. However, this is our third attempt at this location and overall the experience has been subpar at first but the recent visit was inexcusable. The server really did the bare minimum with serving us, and this is from someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for years. But even that could have gone unnoticed if the food was up to standards. The meal was an absolute joke and with all the menu item changes it seems like the food overall has gone downhill. The dish I ordered was not what it was advertised to be and the entire experience was just not worth the wait for the table. If you're a breakfast and brunch place then you definitely need to be able to make a decent breakfast meal, which evidently they cannot. If you're looking for a good breakfast place around town do yourself a favor and try se7en bites down the road and definitely avoid another mediocre dining experience here at all costs. read more

First Watch is always amazing. It is extremely busy but very efficient in moving the waitlist. Coffee is alway nice and hot and they will bring you "real" creamer upon request. I did have an issue with my eggs being under cooked but they fixed it immediately. Service is very personal and very attentive for a busy place. One of my favorite places for breakfast. read more
