My experience here was really great and our server was attentive and very friendly. This place is really close to where I like to walk the Orlando Urban Trail so it is convenient to grab a bite before or after walking. It can get really busy depending on the day and time you're there so be prepared. It is located in the same place as a Fresh Market so there is a parking lot which is nice. The one good thing about most First Watch restaurants is that their menu is consistent across all locations. This place did not disappoint in flavor and taste. The vibe was on point on this day. First Watch is always a reliable breakfast spot where anyone can find something they like on the menu. It is normally my go-to. I chose this location to meet my friend up for breakfast on a Monday morning. We met right at 8am and was surprised the parking lot was already filling up. We were sat right away when entering. The inside was nice and clean. I love the unique art in them for their different locations. We couldn't have asked for a better server. We wanted for nothing our entire breakfast and she was on top of everything. Honestly, I could have used slightly slower service since us girlies were trying to catch up! I ordered the A.M. Superfoods bowl and my friend ordered some sort of breakfast sandwich with potatoes. While my breakfast tasted good and the fruit was fresh, the bowl was definitely not filled up like other locations I've been to. Other First Watch spots normally have the bowl filled up much more with the coconut milk chia seed pudding and the fruit on top is domed out of the top of the bowl. This was not the case. Not my favorite First Watch location :/ The service that I received today was a little disappointing. For starters, my silverware was dirty, and I had to request a new set. The fork had food stuck to it. Not a huge issue. The main issue was my meal. I ordered the market hash and asked to sub out the cheeses for avocado. I received the market hash WITH cheese and then the kitchen took a few minutes to remake the dish without the cheese. The server was very apologetic, and I was not upset with her at all. However, upon receiving my meal WITHOUT the cheese, I noticed I was served the Farmhouse hash instead, also still with no avocado. I noticed this because my plate had tomatoes and bacon on it, but the market hash did not have tomatoes or bacon listed in the description. Good thing I'm not allergic to pork or tomatoes! I was very hungry at this point and was OK with this mistake considering I had already been waiting a few extra minutes while the person I was with had already gotten their meal. I didn't want to wait an additional 5 minutes for a third attempt at getting the right meal. I then asked for the side of avocado and the server brought over a few slices, maybe a quarter of an avocado. We then noticed that we were charged $2 on the bill for the avocado. To be served the wrong meal twice, forgetting the avocado, and then being charged $2 for that avocado, seemed very silly to me. Again, our server was extremely apologetic, and I let her know that it was all right, but seeing the bill just kind of made me laugh and disappointed in how this was handled. Luckily she served me my morning meditation on the house, but it would've been nice to either get my meal discounted or at the very least, not charged for the avocado, especially since I ended up being served the farmhouse hash that includes.... avocado. Salad breakfast spot that's a very accommodating for our kids. The boys were full of beans, but that didn't stop for the staff from being excellent. They were on point we're taking my kids orders first and making sure their food came out as soon as possible when I needed extra napkins for the syrup overload associated with an order of chocolate chip pancakes and waffles they did not skimp out. We were there in a weekend morning, so it was a little noisy, but not so much that we couldn't hear our own conversation.Overall, a friendly ambience, definitely welcoming. I love that every location has an art piece dedicated to the area it's in. You can never go wrong with the million dollar bacon, it's a must for our table every visit! Sunday brunch. Definitely need to pass on this place. This location missed the mark all across the board. We were craving French toast. Decided to drag my husband to try it. He was skeptic but I talked to so good about the MI location he actually believed me. Lol. Oops! The moment we walked in, hostess greeted us. Got our name and number and maybe we were seated in about 10 mins. Not even 10 mins actually. It was quick. Service was a little slow. They were busy. We understood. I got my large apple juice and water. I guess the waitress missed my husband saying he wanted coffee. And about 5 mins into our meal he realized that he didn't have his coffee I guess the waitress didn't realized he ordered it. But she brought it out immediately. Food came out in a timely manner. All was really good. However, the least pleasant dish we ordered as an extra was the French toast that he was craving. Peep the picture below. It was burnt on one side on both the toasts. He's a real trooper for eating one slice of the toast but couldn't muster down the other. It was "burnt, crispy, and bitter." Even with the syrup. When the waitress came around and asked how our food was, we said it wasn't good. Showed her the toast and she didn't really do anything, all she said was "oh, wow. Is there anything I can get you?" She didn't offer to get us a new order or see how she can make this right? So we left it at that. We didn't care for another one anyway as this ruined it for us. We got our check, got up and went to pay for it. The lady that was at the register asked how everything was. We said not good. And she asked what happened, I showed her the picture of the French toast and after many many many attempts of us saying "it's okay, we were more than happy to pay for the full bill," she didn't want us to. She wanted to make it right. She went and got us a comp card and even took the French toast off the bill. We were more than appreciative. But we were more than happy to pay for the full bill and understood because they were busy and our waitress was "new" we didn't want the hassle. She was probably the friendliest person there. Feel like this place missed the mark across the board. Got a bit of attitude and looks from the other employees when we said our meal wasn't good. Like they didn't believe us. But we didn't cause hell or catch attitude. If anything, they caught attitude. Plenty of parking but in this plaza. But it can get easily packed too. read more

We so loved going here! My kid finished the most gigantic pancake ever. It was the size of the plate. All the food was presented so lovingly. The menu was a bit of everything so even the pickiest eaters can be happy. I chose something healthy. The place had an open feel to it and bright and airy. They haven't been able to get over medium eggs though. My eggs were more like over done. This place can get super busy during brunch time. Well, first let me say that my server Amy, she was very pleasant and attentive. She took my order and I got it fairly quickly and it was tasty, but as I'm sitting in the restaurant eating my food, you know how you can feel eyes staring at you yes I looked up and the little girl at the front by the register she's staring and then it was the manager staring at me on occasion and one of the other servers is like what why what do you think? Well first let me also say that I am an adult African-American woman of a certain age and I'm not used to the glaring of the eyes so that made me feel a little uncomfortable. Daughter sent hers back and grandson didn't want to fuss so -he ate them. Second round of poached eggs were better but still not great. She grumbled and ate them anyway. They always made sure that my drink was full and came back to my table a couple times to ensure I had what I needed. The place was clean, well lit, and had very easy parking. The table arrangement was also good so it's very spacious while allowing for a high volume of customers. And finally, the food. I ordered the Works Omelette. It includes sausage, ham, mushrooms, tomatoes, and cheese. I asked for a side of potatoes and sourdough bread. It was really good and filling. Definitely hit the spot for a well made omelette. Even though the food was good, it's nothing out of the ordinary. It's a bit pricey for me, considering you could cook the foods at home and get the same results. I love the potatoes and the lemony hollandaise sauce they use. My guest got an omelette that she says was really good, but she would've preferred the sausage to be ground up smaller. Other than that, the flavor was there! I love the farmhouse decor that all first watches have. My go to location is the one on Aloma, which has a lovely mural of the Winter Park peacocks. Each location has unique murals to where they are located, and I love it ! The service at the Aloma store is very good.
