I always enjoy going out to breakfast at First Watch. Today I had the avocado toast with gluten free bread and breakfast potatoes on the side and my boyfriend had the farmhouse hash. We both cleaned our plates it was so delicious! They are always very good about food allergies and the servers are always very knowledgeable. This location is always clean and the kitchen gets food out fast. This location also has some outside seating available for when the weather is nice.

This location wins the award for most improved customer service! I used to come here regularly when I lived nearby and honestly the last few times I have come, it has been perfect! The seasonal summer menu is delicious, the steak and egg hash was delicious and the little mini biscuits were so good and not too sweet.

Haven't been to First Watch in a while, and it was good to comeback because their food and service are always very good. They have delicious fresh juices, incredible variety of breakfast for any taste. Make sure to try Chilaquillis -- so good. We received outstanding service and loved overall atmosphere. Definitely a place to comeback to when we are in the area.

Featured on the fall menu -- and let me tell you, it was soooo good! Light, hearty, and full of flavor, this dish was the perfect balance of comfort and freshness. Every bite was seasoned beautifully, with just the right texture and warmth that makes you instantly think fall perfection. The presentation was stunning, the flavors were layered but not heavy, and it left me wanting more. You can really taste the care that went into it -- it's one of those dishes that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate how good it is. Definitely a seasonal favorite worth ordering before it's gone!

Salad breakfast spot that's a very accommodating for our kids. The boys were full of beans, but that didn't stop for the staff from being excellent. They were on point we're taking my kids orders first and making sure their food came out as soon as possible when I needed extra napkins for the syrup overload associated with an order of chocolate chip pancakes and waffles they did not skimp out. We were there in a weekend morning, so it was a little noisy, but not so much that we couldn't hear our own conversation.Overall, a friendly ambience, definitely welcoming. Also, the coffee there is pretty darn good.

First watch has to be one of my favorite breakfast brunch locations. They have classic options, healthy options, and unique flavor creations that you will just want to revisit and try! I love that every location has an art piece dedicated to the area it's in. You can never go wrong with the million dollar bacon, it's a must for our table every visit! We tried their seasonal tangerine dream drink which was citrusy sweet and had a hint of ginger. We also tried their seasonal double bacon, Parmesan hash which felt like the perfect brunch meal , super delicious! I'm usually an iced coffee person but first watch has the best hot coffee and is the only place out order it, you can even take a cup to go! (Don't forget to ask if they have seasonal free stickers on your way out!)

Sunday brunch. Definitely need to pass on this place. This location missed the mark all across the board. We were craving French toast. Decided to drag my husband to try it. He was skeptic but I talked to so good about the MI location he actually believed me. Lol. Oops! The moment we walked in, hostess greeted us. Got our name and number and maybe we were seated in about 10 mins. Not even 10 mins actually. It was quick. Service was a little slow. They were busy. We understood. I got my large apple juice and water. I guess the waitress missed my husband saying he wanted coffee. And about 5 mins into our meal he realized that he didn't have his coffee I guess the waitress didn't realized he ordered it. But she brought it out immediately. Food came out in a timely manner. All was really good. However, the least pleasant dish we ordered as an extra was the French toast that he was craving. Peep the picture below. It was burnt on one side on both the toasts. He's a real trooper for eating one slice of the toast but couldn't muster down the other. It was "burnt, crispy, and bitter." Even with the syrup. When the waitress came around and asked how our food was, we said it wasn't good. Showed her the toast and she didn't really do anything, all she said was "oh, wow. Is there anything I can get you?" She didn't offer to get us a new order or see how she can make this right? So we left it at that. We didn't care for another one anyway as this ruined it for us. We got our check, got up and went to pay for it. The lady that was at the register asked how everything was. We said not good. And she asked what happened, I showed her the picture of the French toast and after many many many attempts of us saying "it's okay, we were more than happy to pay for the full bill," she didn't want us to. She wanted to make it right. She went and got us a comp card and even took the French toast off the bill. We were more than appreciative. But we were more than happy to pay for the full bill and understood because they were busy and our waitress was "new" we didn't want the hassle. She was probably the friendliest person there. Feel like this place missed the mark across the board. Got a bit of attitude and looks from the other employees when we said our meal wasn't good. Like they didn't believe us. But we didn't cause hell or catch attitude. If anything, they caught attitude. Plenty of parking but in this plaza. But it can get easily packed too.

This is one chain restaurant that has really never missed every time I have gone. I've gone to several locations now all over Florida and the food has always been decent and service quick. I really like the consistency!

Just FYI: this location won't serve alcohol until after 0900. We arrived a little after 0815 and we were too early for mimosas. We were able to get a table before the Sunday rush. The server was nice but kinda forgetful. We asked 2 times I believe for water. I will say the servers didn't come around after we got our food. I was happy to get grits to my meal. The food was good. They haven't been able to get over medium eggs though. My eggs were more like over done. This place can get super busy during brunch time. I will say that they do keep this place clean and nice looking with all the traffic that comes here.

the breakfast here was tasty i got one of the specials and the iced coffee was good but very sweet. it was busy but we were served quickly but i didn't know who the server was because they switched so often.

It is a family owned restaurant founded by New York natives who noticed a gap in Central Florida for high quality, authentic New York style diner food. The original location opened on Universal Boulevard in the Lake Cay area, near Universal Orlando and SeaWorld. The restaurant quickly became popular with both locals and vacationers looking for an alternative to the standard hotel breakfast buffet. Following the success of the Universal Boulevard location, the owners expanded to additional Central Florida locations, including Lake Buena Vista and Dr. Phillips. The Diner has gained attention for its creative twists on classic comfort food. One of its signature dishes is the Bennyffle a combination of Eggs Benedict served over a waffle. The menu also features specialty cereal pancakes, including Fruity Pebbles and Oreo Crunch, along with classics such as chicken and waffles. In July 2026, the Universal Boulevard location even became the center of a viral national news story after a family of seven including children reportedly walked out on a $298.47 breakfast bill. The story highlighted how hard family businesses work and how an incident like this can affect them. I recently met up with a group of friends at The Diner for brunch. The Diner can get crowded, and they do not take reservations. I am grateful that one of my friends arrived very early to wait for a table for our group. The diner offers a selection of coffee drinks as well as alcoholic beverages, making it a festive spot for brunch. Since I had a long day ahead, I stuck with coffee and ordered the signature chicken and waffles. The combination was delicious. The crispy, savory fried chicken was the perfect partner to the soft, buttery waffles, while the warm, sweet maple syrup contrasted to the salty chicken. It was a very large portion and I really enjoyed my meal. The service was excellent, and the staff were very accommodating when we needed several separate checks. I loved my visit to The Diner, and the experience was made even better by sharing brunch with a great group of friends. Good food, friendly service, and even better company made for a memorable morning.

As far as the food, I ordered something that was okay, but honestly, it didn't really blow my mind. The people I was with ordered the chicken sandwich and tomato soup, and they really enjoyed those. Unfortunately, the service was the biggest issue during our visit. I would give the service 2 stars out of 5. It took a very long time for our waitress to come over and take our order. There were also several issues with the drinks. She brought mine but forgot the rest of the party. Later, she brought one more and then forgot another one. She seemed to be all over the place, and eventually we had to ask someone else for one of my kids' drinks. When she finally came back, she explained that they were out of some of the items we had ordered, so one person in our party couldn't get what they originally wanted. After we placed the new order, it also took quite some time for the food to come out. We were there around lunchtime, so I was surprised that the service was moving so slowly. One thing to know is that they currently only have one menu for brunch and dinner which would be helpful for checking the options ahead of time. On the bright side, they do have happy hour, which is always a plus. Overall, I really liked the atmosphere and the location, but the service definitely needs some improvement.
