The ambiance and food is spectacular. I am also a big fan of the coffee and fresh juices. The only reason for giving four stars instead of five is when I bring my laptop to work here for an hour or two, I am disconnected every 30 minutes from the free Wi-Fi. I would suggest a disconnect interval of two or three hours, not 30 minutes. I would also prefer more gluten-free options such as gluten-free pancakes and milk substitute options such as soy or almond. read more

I love stopping by this location on my way into town or when I'm heading back home (I live in the Prescott area), to grab a bite and fuel up. This is by far my favorite First Watch, as the staff is absolutely amazing!!! Everyone is very attentive, personable, and accurate - I've never had an issue with my order or my dining experience here! I also appreciate their care and seriousness around Covid-19 - the restaurant is always clean, masks are required for staff and diners (unless sitting down at a table), and the accommodations for more touch-free items (like the online menu) make me feel safe. The staff was completely confused and disorganized to the point the restaurant was only about 30% seated with 70% open seats but an insane wait time. DON'T waste your time going here! read more

I love First Watch....BUT they have gotten super relaxed on cleanliness. People are nice. Food is delicious and healthy. But you have to keep it clean people!! I was served a filthy coffee server (could have easily wiped off before serving) silverware had food remnants, coffee mug had spots, even my napkin was dirty. Have been coming here for years, and feels like for past 9 ish months the place is declining. I don't remember when the coffee was good for the last time, yet I order it every single time hoping that last time I was just unlucky. The coffee is always bitter, weak and barley warm. And we told it multiple times to the waiters, hostess at the checkout and doesn't seem anyone cares. The food quality also changed and we even asked if they have a new chief or understaffed due to covid. Service got worse as well. This is the first time I have went to a First Watch and was extremely disappointed! Our utensils were dirty, our water had black stuff floating in it, I ordered a hot tea and he didn't bring a mug just the hot water canister. When I asked for a mug he pointed to the one that was already on the table, I said ok, but when I went to fill it up it was used! He didn't bring milk or sugar and I had to take another mug from another table. Our food came out at 3 different times and When our food came out all 4 orders were wrong. One of us didn't send theirs back but the rest did. We asked for refills of our drinks 3 times and never got them. A manager did come over and said I hear your order was wrong my apologies and then walked away without introducing himself and asking if there was anything he could do for us. Found hair not once but TWICE. I ordered the chocolate chip pancake. The first hair was in the butter on top of the pancake.. how someone missed that in the kitchen blows my mind. Staff apologized and took the plate back and made me a new one. It was going great until the last bite.. I ended up pulling a hair out of my mouth. I almost threw up right on the table. Okay. I've been here 3 times (each time I'm in the area) and it is better each time. It is only open for breakfast through lunch so get here before 3:00. Everything is locally grown, fresh and delicious. The portions are more than ample. The offerings are varied and the selection amount is not overwhelming. Let's talk friendliness and quality of service - excellent!! Ambiance is comfortable and attractive country. There coffee is great and don't be afraid to try the Juice Bar choices. Although this is a chain it isn't your standard chain menu, service or quality. Don't pass on visiting here. You won't be sorry. I'll see you there the next time I'm in town! read more

Such poor service. I don't mind the wait to be seated but the attitude of the millennial hostess is poor bordering on rude. She says 10 more minutes but 15 minutes later we continue to look at an open table outside; actually 2 open tables. And more attitude when we ask what is happening with the outside open tables. I would not recommend this First Watch location. Have never waited so long and with such poor interactions. Food was good. If service team was properly trained would offer a better experience. This was our second visit to this location. The first time we had terrible service but the good food ( million dollar bacon ! ) brought us back for a second chance. Today turned out to be even worse than our previous visit ! Once seated it took over 10 minutes for our server to come to the table. We had to ask for water 3 times while noticing other tables getting severed water. Once we finally got our coffee, we asked for some creamer twice since the bowl was empty. Our server finally brought the creamer when she dropped off the bill after we had finished our meals. The food was good but it too took a very long time to arrive. The good food was overshadowed by the slow and inattentive service we received. Poor service really ruins an otherwise good meal experience. Come on, First Watch, I know you can do better. I know this is a late post... My sister and I took my mom here for Mother's Day because she wanted to go somewhere close to her house...I felt that I would have received better service going across the street to Denny's. The waitress forced me to order a dish that I did not want. My mom had ordered French toast and she wanted the fruit on the side. The waitress brought out a waffle with the fruit on the side. When we sent it back, the French toast came out with the fruit on top instead of on the side like we asked. After having so many issues, the manager did not even come to our table to acknowledge or apologize for the issues that came up causing us to send a dish back. By the end of our breakfast, we concluded that we probably would have had a better experience at Denny's. It is safe to say we will never come back to First Watch, I am definitely sad that The Good Egg is no more. read more

Had not been to this location before and had to write about it as it was a wonderful experience! Friendly service, wonderful food and I am a huge fan of the fresh juices. I think it was the morning meditation I had, LOVED it! I had some modifications I wanted to make to my order (I like EXTRA crispy bacon and extra runny runny eggs) and it was made perfectly. I liked seeing the social distancing happening within the restaurant, and even in the middle of these strange times the staff was friendly, courteous, and positive.
